If you want killers to tunnel less, add an actual reason for them to go for hooks on someone else.

But DS, OTR and BT ARE reasons to go for someone else.

It's less about tunneling being too strong and more about the fact that going for multiple hooks is too weak of a strat and just doesn't work.

No, it's not, and I'm tired of this argument being tossed around the forums to advocate for some hefty survivor nerfs. Even if killers were at a consistent 4K rate, with 100% 4K chance, it'd STILL be better for the killers to tunnel, camp and slug. You can keep nerfing survivors, but every nerf you slap on them is going to make those three strats stronger.

You know how the gap between solo and swiffer is so big that it makes balancing impossible? The same goes for 12-hooking versus tunnel/camp/slug. You can't nerf killers to account for solos without massively boosting swiffers. Similarly, you can't nerf survivors to account for 12-hooking without massively boosting T/C/S.

T/C/S simply have to go. They have to be nerfed down to match 12-hooking, much like solo needs to be brought up to swiffer, and then you can take those two balance levels and even them out.

None of this 'nerf the survivors down to knives but let killers keep their guns on the promise they'll use them less'.

Literally where am I advocating for survivors nerfs???? I'm literally asking for killer buffs, hello? It's like you didn't even read.

DS, OTR, AND BT are not GOOD reasons to go for someone else. Killing the camping / tunneling strat does not make going for someone else suddenly better. All it does is kill the only viable strat killers have to stay competitive. Tunneling is not an issue for survivors to solve with perks and base kit changes. It's literally the fact that going for multiple people is a disadvantage across the board. There are literally ZERO positives to going for multiple hooks on multiple people, outside of token perks and even then, the effects of the token perks aren't even good enough to WARRANT going for someone else.

  • @The_C12H15NO2 said:

BHVR gave survivors base kit BT, that's a reason...

Idk if that's enough to incentivize killers to bail on a camp/tunnel strat though. Map design is a huge problem for almost all killers. Instead of addressing map balance they are giving out band aids in the form of perks and new killers all of some form of teleport. Map balance is more important than perks.

that being said, i'm looking forward to seeing the changes. a lot of needed changes in favor of the killer side. we'll see if it's enough to make playing killer to win any less sweaty.

But like I said with the other guy, tunneling isn't a problem that the survivors need to solve. It's not gonna change with giving them things to combat it. All you're doing is making the only viable strat killers have worse, which then leaves them with nothing to which killer just becomes garbage and useless to play which it already practically feels like now.

    @tendyhands said:

Hiding in a locker all game would be too strong. So can you do that? No because they added an in game mechanic to make it a bad idea. Should do the same for tunneling and camping, this isn't complicated.

Yes but making tunneling useless doesn't change anything. You've now just removed the only viable strat killers had to stay competitive. The issue isn't tunneling is too strong, the issue is that everything else is too weak.

  • Myers is garbage... Clown is meh.

Sadako is bad. It doesn't matter she can "literally" teleport across the map when that teleport location is then dead for a minute and 40 seconds. It literally doesn't matter. Especially since her coming out of a TV is slow asf so they can just run and then you're stuck in a chase as a full on M1 killer with no anti loop.

Sadako is bad get over it. Everyone knows this, it's common knowledge that Sadako is one of the worst killers.

  • @Mozic said:

This is one of the things that BBQ did a great job at encouraging with the BP reward, and something that other perks like No Way Out accomplishes and Grim Embrace tries (but fails) to accomplish.

So my first thought is just continuing to tie powerful effects behind one-token-per-unique-survivor-hooked perk effects.

The other thought is that I think the basekit BT change is going to do a lot to not necessarily discourage tunneling but to make tunneling more fair for the survivor - by giving the survivor more tools to help them get a better chance at escaping in case the killer fixates right back onto them, there's less room to consider it an invalid strategy on the killer's part.

While survivors might want to make camping and tunneling literally impossible, the healthier approach imo is to just make both practices about the same as starting a fresh chase.

But see that's my problem, I don't think tunneling is a thing you should put in the hands of the survivor to solve, it is their issue in terms of they have to deal with it, but it's also not THEIR issue, you get me?

Making tunneling worse, will just leave killers with NO good strat. Perks with tokens clearly didn't work as going for multiple hooks was still bad. Unless they start reworking token perks into having MUCH better rewards as compared to now, then yea maybe. But how long will we have to wait for that? It already took them years to solve dead hard.

  • @DBDVulture said:

Did I catch that correctly? DId Omnia+Peanuts just say that OTR is a perk you "lose midgame"?

If it only triggers once that makes sense - but will still break end game.

Is it like once you get hit with OTR, it's gone for the rest of the game? If so... can they teach someone how to write dev updates cause I feel like that should've been included in the actual written change.

  • @drsoontm said:

I believe indeed the new DH may be stronger against Nurse.

I'll be sure to test it thoroughly tomorrow along with checking how well tunneling is discouraged.

Tunneling will be discouraged once BHVR gives an actual incentive to go for multiple people. There's zero reason to go for multiple hooks as it does nothing but waste time. Only reason you would ever do is it if you can tell the survivors are clearly bad and you can get away with it.

BBQ and Chili has a 50% Pick Rate because it had the BPs Bonus part. Now that it's gone, I don't see Lower Tier Killer picking this Up?

Yea but we were talking strictly info wise which is the best perk after the patch. I'd still rock BBQ anyway tbh, I always used it for the info. Knowing where to go in general (even on low mobility killers) is huge. You don't need mobility to use BBQ effectively.

I would never say thrilling tremors is better because tremors is limited to knowing if people are on gens, BBQ let's you know where people are no matter what.

  • @D3spair said:

BBQ and Chili will be Niche this upcoming patch imo for Killer who are not mobile enough. So what do you guys think will be the perk to replace BBQ and Chili for Tracking? I think Thrilling Tremors would be a Safe Bet.

So then you mean "BBQ and Chilli has always been niche for killers who are not mobile enough"

Wdym "this upcoming patch" it's literally gonna be the same perk minus the bloodpoints LMAO

I posted a simular discussion yesterday, but instead it was more of the old gameplay and most people said they hated the old balance and gameplay but loved the feel and theme of old maps. They liked the darkness and fog and actually horror feel of the game

So what I'm asking now is how many of us want those old aesthetics and horror feeling back into the game. I'm not exactly saying graphics because the new graphics we have now are great, but adding darkness, more fog, depth of field (when you look into the distance and it is blurry creating that spooky effect) to the modern graphics we have now would be truly amazing. I really want to feel that horror feel of the game everyone did back in 2016-2017.

Not just the aesthetics of the game but the audio too. Do any of you remember that eerie noise that always happened when you were stealthing? It was like a strange screaming noise and people always speculated it was the pigs/cows at the cow/pig tree (forgot what animal it was). Plus all the differnt music themes per state you were in. So like there would be different background music if you were healthy, Injured, downed, doing a gen, stealthing, getting chased, hooked, exit gates are powered, etc. Even the old animations showed fear in the survivors faces.

I truly wish the devs consider bringing some of those horror aesthetics (i apoligize if I keep spelling that word wrong) back into the game, but unfortunately after cosmetics were introduced and trickster came into the game the game will never be horror agian, but I do believe we can get some of that horror factor back by simply changing lighting, and visual effects of the game.

If people complained about this as much as dead hard I'm sure the devs would add this type of stuff back.

Nah bro I never played back then but the colors of the map looked horrendous, like all of the farm maps had a horrendous looking green fog and it looked like garbage compared to what it is now. (I mean to be fair it's still garbage cause of the corn every where but u know what i mean)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3031017#Comment_3031017

Well I don't think you should expect her stealth to be as good as Wraith. Why would anyone play Wraith then? And why would people expect her teleport too be better then Dredge? Then who would play Dredge? And yes her condemned can work. She doesn't have to b godlike in any of these. She just has them all. If she could teleport all the time like Dredge or have an insane speed boost like Wraith then there is no point in playing those killers. Since she has them all plus condemned which is like Pig's traps but obviously still weaker, that's great when you actually know how to play her.

Yes she has all of that but all of them are terrible. So then who cares she has a jack of all trades build, but all of the trades are weaker and much more garbage versions of things that exist. There's a REASON everyone says she's garbage.

  • @TheDarkTyrant said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3030850#Comment_3030850

Not at all the worst killer. She has really good stealth, can best around the map, and can keep people off gens if you try and use the condemned a bit more. She's still better than Dredge in my opinion.

Her stealth is just a worse version of wraith's. She can TP around the map which then causes that TV you used, to turn off for literally a 1 m 40 secs, a complete joke of a teleport ability.

"use the condemned a bit more" there's literally nothing to use, it's a useless mechanic. It's nearly impossible to build up the condemned bar there's no threat to it. Only way to do it is to have a survivor grab a tape and then literally screw around with it for a minute because that's the only shot of getting max condemned. TP's don't do it alone at all, but at the same time survivors never HAVE to grab a tape as there's literally no reason to do it. You don't have to turn off the TV's, just let her TP and get her stuck in a long chase because she's an M1 killer. And she will just shut off her own TV's.

if you think this killer is genuinely better than dredge you are out of your right mind. Dredge not only has a better TP, that doesn't perform a 100 second cooldown when he does it, he has more options to teleport too (lockers are literally everywhere on every map), he has an ACTUAL form of anti loop. Although bad, still something compared to Sadako who has not a single bit of anti loop.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3030967#Comment_3030967

All the trapper has to do is sit 24 meters away (if he wants to), which is not far (as demonstrated by devour hope). If anyone disarms a trap they'll be injured and is an early warning sign for the trapper if they didn't already see them. Now, they run down and unhook. Whilst they're doing so the trapper resets the trap. Both survivors are now dead unless the unhooked one has DS.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3030964#Comment_3030964

The point is this camping playstyle is being buffed, regardless of whether you agreed with DHing through traps. Also to make it clear: I'm not suggesting that you should still be able to DH through traps.

Also it's not exclusive to Trapper. Nurses can use range and camp with Monstrous Shrine + MYC, Resonance, Agi/Deadlock. Hag with MYC, Mint Rag (TP to any trap), Monstrous Shrine etc.

Essentially, camping builds in general are buffed which I don't think is a good thing.

Genuinely nothing in the patch made camping easier. If anything it's harder now to camp and tunnel.

Survivors have basekit BT, Off The Record change which will literally make it a better version of current DS. The ONLY thing that makes camping SLIGHTLY better is the successful hit cooldown reduction... that's it.

  • @Pepsidot said:

If you've ever played against a basement Trapper you know how boring, tedious and frustrating it is when you are hooked in the basement or are trying to get the save. Well, it's about to be buffed. Next patch:

    • You won't be able to DH through traps.
    • Each generator will take +10 seconds longer.
    • Monstrous shrine will be buffed meaning basement trappers can use hooks in the basement for Pain Resonance and survivors could die 20% faster with some nifty proxy camping.

Now imagine Trappers using Agitation, Iron Grasp/Deadlock, Monstrous Shrine, Pain Resonance. With bloody coil addon (injures you upon disarming). Now imagine a teammate is hooked in shack basement. Your solo queue. Gens are taking longer, teammates are dying faster and there is no chance anyone is getting out the basement without DS.

    Awful, right?

TLDR; The next patch buffs camping, not good.

    Extra rambling:

Even if you somehow disarm a trap and get the unhook without being killed... by the time you're back up the basement stairs the trapper would have already reset his traps. Now there's NO possible escape because of the DH nerf. You're dead and so is the unhooked survivor unless they have Decisive Strike.

The only thing the Trapper needs to do is get one early(ISH) down somewhat close to the basement and camp from there.

You shouldn't have been able to DH through traps in the first place, it was dumb. You get to go thru the traps meanwhile trapper can't, he then has to waste time either picking up the trap to which he now has to place back all over again, or have to go all the way around whatever loop you've just DH'd through to get to you without setting off his own trap.

Hell, if the trap is in a one way place he literally HAS to pick it up and now again, he to place it all over again.

  • @Squippit said:

I'd rather no more grabs at hooks, but you can now grab people while they're healing

So a situation that happens often compared to a situation that never happens. Literally no survivor just continues to heal when the killer is practically on top of them.

  • @MilManson said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3030841#Comment_3030841

Pain Resonance is a 15% regression and a loud notification, if this is on the other side of the map survivors can do 15% progress back on that generator again easily, it's only really used to be combined with dead mans.

Yea so even that perk. Nothing killers had was game breaking or game changing unlike cough dead hard cough so there was no reason for anything to get nerfed. Other than BBQ because the grind is a lot less and people literally only used it for BP, so hopefully that forces other perks to be used in that aspect since it was so clear of every perk killers had in terms of usage rates.

  • @Mozic said:

    * Deep Wounds confirmed

    * Animation lock does not enable free movement, you still dash forward just at regular runspeed. This also means no vaulting or throwing palettes mid-animation.

Seems like a pretty healthy perk to me compared to what it was before. Still going to be sniffing a lot of survivor butts to bait it out, though.

Thank god. No more chases getting extended by a minute JUST because someone clicked E after getting outplayed in a chase. Only took a couple years but at least it's happening.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

I think people overreact quite a bit. She ignores mechanics that aren't useful against her to begin with, but other things are useful against Nurse that aren't useful against other killers. And even then, she's not ignoring vaults and pallets per se, they're just used in a completely different manner against Nurse. It's like saying Huntress ignores distance if you run in a straight line out in the open

And I don't think the devs are designing perks with Nurse in mind. The meta is being scaled back for a reason, and they wouldn't do that if it was only Nurse causing problems with those perks.

Well let's be completely transparent. None of the killer perks other than maybe pain res are actually OP. They just think that the way to change what perks killer use, is to hard nerf gen perks and instead... buff other gen perks? When really all they had to do was just buff perks in general and leave the current meta perks as is.

  • can't wait to get P100 on sadako to show everyone how much I love to punish myself when playing video games.

  • @Brokenbones said:

    4 DHs vs Sadako

    Tragic.

    2 Spinechills as well

That's honestly why I hope they make the spine chill nerf not related to LoS, but just not work on any killer that's undetectable straight up and leave the nerf at that. Because playing "stealth" killers or stealth builds is nearly impossible when they know you're coming before you even get near them.

  • @RiskyKara said:

I have a line that I use every time I go against Sadako when I'm playing as James.

"I'm about to show this little girl what a true monster is."

Then I proceed to smash her face in with an entire forest one pallet at a time.

The combination of being James with that power phrase against Sadako has insured I've never once been killed by her.

She definitely needs help. I applaud the tenacity but she's taken more blows to the head than a professional boxer and at this point I kind of wish I could give her the Mary treatment, just so it'll be over for the both of us.

Like at this point she needs her TV cooldowns reduced, condemned to have different effects, and MAYBE let her phase through only pallets and no windows or walls. That's the only way I see her making it out of F tier cause holy hell this character has nothing right now.

M1 killer who's teleport gets shutdown for over 100 seconds, just because of a condemned mechanic that never actually does anything. I've prestiged her twice already, and saving for the third til the update, and I've gotten condemned mori's 2 times. And both times was from them literally screwing around doing nothing, and just holding a tape.

The most M1 Killer in the game? My dude, you use Frenzy most of the match and if you can't secure a down with it, then you still got a health state out by using an M2.

Wraith is more M1 than Legion. Onryo is more M1 than Legion.

Simply put, this is indeed a skill issue.

Yes I stated that, you can get a bunch of injures but THEN WHAT.

They don't even need to heal for the rest of the match because "oh it's legion who cares" once you injure everyone, you're literally an M1 killer with nothing to do anymore.

    @Witchubtet said:

Legion is a huge pressure Killer. Run the add-on that makes Survivors broken if they mend. Also use them to scare and punish survivors trying to act like hero’s.

The Game is a very good map for them.

Broken addon is pointless because survivors don't even heal against legion. There's no point.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

"playing what is probably the most M1 killer in the game"

sounds like you don't know how to play Legion :)

??? What you just said makes no sense when he LITERALLY is an M1 killer. You can't down people with his frenzy consistenly, chain downs rarely happen against good survivors. So yes... he is quite literally the most M1 killer in the game when his power does not down people at all and he has zero anti loop.

  • @Mazoobi said:

    Better than Sadako.

She's better. I genuinely believe that.

Better map control. Although her TV's have long cooldowns, her iri addon essentially negates that if you're good at getting manifestation hits. She has stealth (although not fully invisible) being undetectable is enough to get close to people. Plus, she's short so she can mindgame some loops that other killers physically can't. Plus if you can master her invisibility while demanifested (where it flickers on and off) you can genuinely do something with it.

Legion has lack luster map control outside of frenzy, has no downing power, has no anti loop, isn't short so most loops can't even mindgame, and no stealth.

  • @Neency said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3027662#Comment_3027662

So what youre saying is that maps need to be changed because good players exist and they make you lose?

If its a matter of who abuses it it cannot be changed for everyone. Amd honestly? Its not likely that maps will be changed like that. Look at what they did to haddonfield and how many months that wasted. So i suggest you just find a way to step up your own game to get better than the good survivors. Or, you abuse weak links. Come up with a strategy, learn a stronger killer, whatevs. But that might help you more in the long run. No offense and i do know it from myself: sometimes we just suck. Or sometimes we are mediocre and need to take an actual look at ourselves

    So what that's it?

Instead of pushing devs to actually fix things we need to blame ourselves even though it's not really our fault the maps are designed and catered towards survivors?

  • @Neency said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3025789#Comment_3025789

I mean other killers clearly make mind games work so why can't you?

Yes they do. It doesn't happen often. I can too, but again. Doesn't happen nearly enough to offset the amount of garbage chases I've had. Again good survivors there's practically nothing you can do. They don't fall for hiding your red stain, as they just wait to see which way you come from and they have enough time to do that and still reach a window / pallet safely.

  • @Neency said:

It does sound like a skill issue, like other people said. First of all, only the pallets at the exits are relatively safe and theres ONE good pallet loop on lerys. All other pallets have way too short loops and you can just mind game it. And lerys does have a lot of windows, point being that all of them are right next to a door you can move your butt through to still catch up :)

Istg i bet youre one of those killers who play bubba, noed and facecamp/tunnel and still cant get one kill so yeah blaming the map thats not the issue is logical right? I never play killer but when i do for some quests i'm BAD and i know i'm bad. The maps were not the issue. Maybe you should just practice mind games. When i hide my red light at jungle gyms even i can get a down in less than 2 minutes... and i played like 100 killer games total but on a variety of maps

I played bubba to get BBQ, and literally never played him again. He's a boring killer so no.

They still get space from windows because i'm already a decent distance away and they simply vault the window and go the opposite direction of where the door is, which means I have to go fully around to get to where they went.

The maps have always been an issue, a majority of killers agree. The maps are designed terrible and are filled with an abundance of safe loops all within walking distance of each other. 2 minute chases was a hyperbole. It's still very long chases that waste valuable time. "Hide my red light" yes because I've never thought of that. They literally will just wait and see which side I come from and then just run the opposite way and vault the windows, it's not about hiding the red light lmfao.

It's about buying time... ya know... "BORROWED TIME", you have time to now get to a loop or get to a safer area.

It honestly sucks that I have to legitimately wonder if this is real. Thanks DbD forums.

It's not about protesting the maps, it's about pointing the fact that can you really blame them for playing these ways when BHVR practically forces it with the way they design the game.

"Several people" is not at all the majority, especially when a majority of killers all say the same thing. M1 killers suck, and maps are designed terribly.

Even I have good games with M1 killers. That doesn't mean all of a sudden they are good or that maps are well made.

    I've had games like that

Oh no doubt, but it's still definitely better to look at a game and think "What could I have done to prevent 3-4 people escaping?" instead of "What mistakes did I make, while I still won the game?" There's things to learn in wins, but definitely better to look at a losing game.

Now - I'm a fan of the changes, as these amount to a solid buff to a lot of M1 or hybrid M1 killers, many of which are struggling right now (Onryo still needs love though).

However - they are also going to be a buff to Nurse (and to a lesser extent Blight), which is going to make these two problem killers even more dangerous.

The other issue is that these feel like a change made on behalf of SWF. Solo is already tough. I do understand that it's almost impossible to balance between the Fox/Chicken/Corn puzzle of SWF/Killer/Solo, but these feel like changes that should have come with an adjustment to a handful of addons on these specific killers, and some help for solos.

Something as simple as making Bond basekit for all players not in a party would be a huge help.

Am I the only person that has no issue with blight? Like after playing him for a good bit it seems not that hard at all to counter him. Literally a single jungle gym can turn him into an M1 killer, or just simply... running around a corner and going behind obstacles he physically can't hit past.

Solo survivors will struggle for sure after this update. It's already a nightmare for many survivors. Before someone says "solo is not bad, I escape 50-60%" of all games, the experience can vary depending on region/MMR/luck/skill etc. We all know that solo survivors are handicapped in this game and most of them lose much more often than killers or SWF survivors. While the update itself is good, DEVs forgot about solo once again, it's gonna make solo experience an even bigger nightmare for many players.

Also. Solo's suffer in EVERY game to ever exist, it's always going to be a thing. It's how it is. Hell, there's literally not much you can do. Other than spoon feed survivors a bunch of base kit perks while they solo queue. To which would probably end up making killer feel like even more of a hell to play.

Please quote me where I said anything was "healthy".

And I love the usual excuse "this will only make killers camp and tunnel more" like they dont do that already without any excuse.

Without any excuse? there's plenty of excuse to tunnel. There is literally no positives to going for multiple people meanwhile every positive to just tunnel. It's practically the only way to win since going for multi hooks just wastes time and gets you no where.

Otr means nothing bro. What u gon do? Tunnel a surv for 80 seconds? And theyre just gonna do nothing the whole 80 secs? how is any of these scenarios effective for anyone?

It's literally a better version of DS.

There's no risk of getting slugged like with DS, you can literally body block for free, AND if someone heals you, you can literally tank 2 free hits. It's better than DS in every way.

  • @Marigoria said:

The only actual buffs for survivors can't go live, ok.

I'm sure you're ok with the "buffs" to calm spirit and pharmacy tho.

If you think OTR is healthy then you are off your head. It's literally a more broken version of DS. (also making killers have an even harder time to find survivors with scratch disappearing super early, will only make them want to tunnel and camp more but we'll have to see just how fast the disappearing is tbf)

  • You guys got BT base kit and a perk reworked into a better version of DS....

What is there to complain about?

  • Am I lost? This literally affected no one but you...

  • If ruin is just going to be the measly 100% regression than it shouldn't be a hex NOR should it be removed once you kill someone. There is literally ZERO reason to use ruin even in it's current hex 200% state. You lose it within a minute of the game because once people realize you have it, they just scour for it. And that's the perk... that's it.

It's only semi useful with undying and even then that extends it's lifespan from one minute to a solid minute and a half.

Make it just Ruin and not Hex: Ruin. And remove the idea that killers should be punished with the removal of a perk because they are doing their job and playing well. That is ridiculous.

100% regression is base regression speed, which is genuinely nothing. You need to let the gen regress 40 seconds just to get 10 seconds of progress off of it. It's useless.

  • Lower TV cooldowns and make condemned have different affects + get condemned stacks faster (remove the mori if need be)

Remove double locker strat on dredge (survivors can lock one locker if there's 2 connected, and dredge will ALWAYS be forced into teleporting into the locked one with zero choice between the two. So you can essentially get 2 locked affects on one locker.

I can't think of anything for legion but good lord he might still be the worst killer in the game even after the buffs (because the buffs addressed literally none of the issues he has)

  • I don't think M2 needs faster recovery because they all are tied to a power that makes hitting easier in the first place.

But Oh my god perks that require M1 hits need to be completely done with and EVERYTHING should be like dark devotion will be. Any loss to the health state will trigger perk affects.

Jolt got the no cooldown buff, but it's still only on M1 downs. I don't get why this is a thing, any health state removal, whether it be M1 or M2 attacks, should trigger perks.

  • @dugman said:

There’s nothing wrong in principle with a Hex having a time limit. For instance, imagine a Hex that makes all survivors Exposed for the first 90 seconds of play (or until the Hex is found). It would almost certainly land you one to three instant downs before it ended which is worth a perk slot, even though it has a time limit and can also be destroyed early.

The new Ruin is probably a bit weak overall, but generally speaking a Hex having a time limit would be fine if its effect was strong enough to make it still worth using.

" a bit weak " bro this new ruin is literally the worst perk in the game. and I genuinely believe that.

You get garbage 100% base regression speed (which is literally nothing it's 1/4 the survivor's repair speed, so you make literally no progress on regression with it) AND it's still a hex so you basically just lose it within 30 seconds if survivors spawn near it still (which they will since they aren't fixing hex totems) AND on top of THAT if you simply are good at the game and do your job by getting a kill it goes away. LMAO.

Ruin is completely dead and no one will ever use it again. So I guess congrats BHVR they completed their task of wanting people to use it less, because jesus it's awful.

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY (ESPECIALLY SOLO PLAYERS)

    Kinship (Camaraderie) Rework:

The importance of friendship has given you strength.

While any other survivor is on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to you.

While you are on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to all survivors.

If you enter the struggle phase, Kinship will activate its secondary effect: If another survivor is within/enters 16 meters of your hook while Kinship’s Secondary effect is active, the struggle phase will be paused for 26/30/34 seconds.

Kindred survivor auras will now be a base-kit feature for solo-players. This will help solo players gain the proper information of other survivors locations throughout the game.

This should be a step closer to closing the gap between solo players and Survive with friend players.

Kinship (Camaraderie) should now be a perk that can be used by solo-players. The perk currently benefits survivors with proper communication, so this is a great change.

    Now, Delete Kindred

So when are killers gonna get a bunch of amazing perks base kit? I'm you guys get BT base kit with the changes and now you want kindred base kit? lmao

    Where's my 15% pop basekit?
