Honestly the base kick should be 10% minimum seeing as how it can only be kicked 8 times and that might make survivors think twice about hopping right back on since it could get kicked again. Missing a skilllcheck is 10 and so should a kick since you give up chase pressure to kick it.

The spirit need a change due to the maps that where recently added, referring to Toba Landing, Nostromo Wreckage and Greenville Square, maps that are too big for its powerful but short power. For main survis and those who never played spirit Im going to give context about her. The Spirit in her main power can move at 7.04ms (withouts addons) for 5s (withous addons) but is does not pass through walls, pallets, windows, etc. She is a very difficult killer to use since when you are using her main power you cannot see the survivors, you can only hear them and see their scratchmarks. So, it becomes very difficult to find someone; simply walk away from the generator when you hear that she is about to use her main power. Spirit does have addons that improve the duration of his power without harming it, and its a yellow addon called Kaiun Talisman that adds 25% more duration to the main power, wich in my opinion starting from a base of 5s is quite insignificant.
Also Spirit has disadvantage that it takes too long to charge her power (15s without addons) and if you add an addon that gives more time to the main power this increases. And finally I want to mention that is an M1 killer, practically all survivor use exhaution perks, when you receive a hit you can use Lithe, Sprint, etc. And his base movement speed is 4.4 if she doesnt have her power she wont be able to hit you again.
With all this I want to make 2 suggestions for the killer, add to te base kit the yellow addon Kaiun Talisman (increases the duratión of phase-walk 25%) and the brown addon Gifted Bamboo Comb (increases the charge speed of yamaoka haunting 15%). With this, the final result would be a spirit with a main power of 6.25s and recharge time of 12.75s, much fairer too me more than it is currently.
I would like to read your opinions, if you think it would be good or the spirit should stay like as it is now

If they wouldn’t let Huntress keep her speed change then they certainly won’t give that to spirit. Huntress is affected far worse than Spirit by bad maps.

I’ve been running it ever since survivors started running distortion because using GH and Lethal eats two tokens.
-
I only got the charm because I had to work a 12 and Paulie Esther made a video about it. Lucky I got it, it’s cute! Going right on my killer hooks!
-
Anytime survivors try to be friendly I almost always just kill them and go next. You don’t have to throw your game because they want to have fun lol.
-
If we’re gonna talk fair a direct hit from a hatchet should be an insta down without add ons. Like how a shotgun is in fps games. Hatchets are the only projectile that would insta kill someone. So how about we just leave it the way it is?
-
Shouldn’t work off hook. It’s ridiculous that I get punished for hooking you when people are constantly crying about slugging.
-
Hot take: DBD is in a good spot right now. That’s how I feel.

Thank you for pointing this out. Survivors can hate her all they want but she's one of the most fun to play in the right circumstances (which are few because... maps). She also has heavy counterplay in most situations. Ever since they cluttered up the maps when Ghostface came out she has had a rough go of it with zero compensation and with the exception of shattered square for a while, every map since has been awful for her.
I for one am super glad she's finally getting a little bit of love.
It’s honestly exhausting seeing that “nobody asked for these buffs” comment. Or when people say “x content creator said she doesn’t need it” like they are the end all be all when it comes to all things DBD. I played her on the PTB and she was by no means unbeatable. A lot of the people I talked to who made posts calling for her to be nerfed never even played the PTB since they were console players and obviously don’t have access to it. They just said it needed to be reversed without playing against it at all.

Have you played Huntress before? Don't tell me you've never found yourself in a position where you could have gotten an easy M1. It happens and insisting on using your power anyway will often result in you waisting time. That is the point.
Of course you shouldn't try to play Huntress as a M1 killer in general. But when the opportunity arises, you should go for it instead of missing a bunch of hatchets. Especially when you're still learning. Just because something is possible, doesn't mean you'll be able to pull it off.
When you're as good as the people, you've mentioned then you won't miss a bunch of hatchets. This however is not the average Huntress player.
Huntress is the worst example you could've used, since you should always use a hatchet instead of an M1 because you recover much faster. You ONLY M1 if you're out of hatchets and a survivor runs into you. Every single other time you should use hatchets.

I just went against a p100 huntress that tunneled and camped downed bodies at 4 gens, and snipped us from half way across the map, yea she really needed that buff she’s getting 🙄
Every A Tier killer and above can do that. The buffs change nothing in that regard.

Not a single person has asked for any kind of buff to huntress.
This is all on the Devs and they deserve the tsunami of tears they’re gonna get as a result of this buff.
No Survivors asked for it but plenty of Huntress mains did. I’m not a big fan of losing because maps and she is affected by bad maps the most. Shiny Pin/ Infantry belt are her most popular add ons for a reason and they tried making them basekit like they did with all the other killer tweaks.

That's not the point. There are situations in which a simple M1 killer mind game can give you an easy hit. But many will double down on using their powers anyway and failing, which results in a lot of time wasted.
We're not talking about Nurse but Hag for example can sometimes get a hit without using her power. As can Huntress, Slinger and Spirit. You shouldn't set down a trap when you run after a survivor in a dead zone and you also shouldn't insist on using your power when there is a chance to get an easy M1 instead. At least not when you want to win.
I'm not saying you should play M1 killer and only use your power sparsely but an easy hit is better than spamming your power 10 times and wasting 20 seconds.
Except for 110 killers get punished more for not using their power and take longer to get hits more so than 115 killers. There is a reason why the vast majority of Huntress never m1. Spooky/Max/Seek

@Xernoton said:
That's a problem on pretty much every killer though, isn't it? People become overly reliant on their killer's power and use it so often that they waste time and have to make up for it by tunneling. Although, I feel like these are the same players that would tunnel anyway.
So I don't think this is a Hillbilly specific issue.
Huntress, Hag, Spirit, and slinger pretty much have to only use their power or else they get trashed. Probably some others I’m forgetting too
-
Awesome Idea but they would have to entirely rebuild the game to do something like that.
-
No killers should be 110 without a movement speed ability tbh. Like Blight is 115 AND can cross the whole map in 5 seconds. Every map has loops that force 110 killers to M1 and indoor maps are worse.

@Witchubtet said:
What IS your ideal killer? I’ve been playing since 2017 and it’s kinda shocking how some survivors seem to hate anything that interrupts the flow of the game. It’s like they want every killer to be trapper, pig, or Michael levels of power and interaction.
Why does it seem survivors only want weak killers they can screw around with and get out 9/10 times? You realize that those are People you’re going against right? So they need to have fun too.
Killa Whale did a good video called “I found out why survivors are so mad all the time”
and it pretty much explains 1 of every 4 survivors will hate the killer you picked. So honestly there is no reason to care what survivors like. The only killer I dislike is Legion and that’s it. Mending over and over is exhausting tbh.

Checking gens means she'll be unable to fire immediately. Swarms can be removed in 8.5 seconds at maximum (8 seconds normally) or immediately via locker. This also gives a warning to distant survivors saying "hey be careful she knows". The killer instinct has a short proc range by default (there is an add on that does increase the range to at what we can guess is around 2 meters) and isnt always accurate as if survivors dodge then theres no info (which unless using an add on they will see the birds coming and theres a decently loud audio warning as well).
Still huge info to have not saying she should be nerfed at all but still. And 8 seconds of not being on a Gen 10-15 times a game adds up

Annnd here we go...knew the day was coming...
Artist is normal speed because when aiming for longer shots, it takes a double tap to actually injure, unlike huntress who takes 1 no mater how far. Artist only injures at once when close up. In addition lockers can immediately remove swarms making most long distance shots hard to anyone who knows what their doing (luckily for us most dont). While its somewhat map dependent, you can actually loop an artist by chaining tiles. Staying at 1 tile and trying to loop isn't going to work, but if you can chain tiles though she'll be effectively an m1 killer. She places you bolt to new tile, she places, back to old tile. Old and new shelter woods and her own map are ones that can do this (least for us). The reason people keep holding w? Its the easiest way to buy time, thats effectively true with all killers.
If you run into a placed crow, her timer also continues down meaning she has a shorter window to place and aim depending on how many shes placed already. This means that if this change were to go through, when she places more than 1 crow thats not set up in a convoluted way (in essence it would be 1 at the loop to swarm and 1 or 2 aimed at where the survivor would be when they get swarmed. Thats 9-12 seconds for the cooldown for that hit, not counting add on [shes got only 1 add on for firing crows cd], the set up time that can easily be deleted by teammates, the time to get to that loop from survivors holding m1 anyway, etc.), survivors would be able to remove the swarm before she can even try to land a hit.
We like her kit because its one of the most versatile in dbd not the most horrendous. Just because people do play her the dull way doesn't make her kit bad.
Unlike Huntress, The Artist can check 3-5 gens at once every 10 seconds. If she hits them with birds they’ll let off gens to repel so she has built in slowdown as well. If it misses she gets Killer Instinct and can know how many people are on a gen. I personally think no killer without a movement ability should be 110. M Cote said the only reason Huntress is 110 is to encourage players to use hatchets more not because she would be too strong. That was during the 2017 game dev stream video when she released.
-
Survivors have 10; 2nd chance perks. DH, DS, OTR, MoM, Adren, BR, UB, Expo, SG, and PS. Some of which can be used twice. I think it’s fair the killer gets a few. NoEd, NWO, Remember me (kind of), Pain Rez and Dead Lock

What do you think is skillful about him? Huntress has the orbitals, Slinger has trick shots, Trickster doesn't really have anything skill expressive about his kit as it's just a machine gun with little range so there's nothing really that hard to master with him especially after the changes.
Getting good with Trick Blades takes a lot of skill and I have been able to land downs past 40 meters with him since he has no recoil. So I would say being able to throw one blade at a time and land 8 past 40 meters is skillful.
-
@shizzy_Pooh said:
Why are they buffing huntress? All she does is hold up her hatchet, proxy camps hooks, and is able to tunnel right off hook with her hatchets, I hate this killer with a passion but behavior obviously cares more about killer mains than survivor mains apparently.
The literal real explanation is the devs looked at the most used add ons for each killer and tried making some of them basekit as QoL. Same as when they decreased Trickster/ Huntys reload speed because they brought Iron Maiden. Shiny Pin/ Belts are her most popular add ons besides glowing concoction because despite what you may hear a lot of Huntress’s feel 77% is too slow and shiny pin makes you move at 82.
And survivors will get buffs too, it just takes longer than number tweaks. How about we cut them some slack and because keeping both sides happy seems impossible. No matter what change they make it upsets people on the other side so they have to try and balance it out. Mangled is getting nerfed, UW is getting nerfed and DS is probably getting buffed since tunneling is such a problem.

No he’s fine at 115%. 110% killers are supposed to be like that because they can use their power to hit a survivor in every single situation. Blight can’t do that at shorter loops, and him being 110% would be a nightmare on those tiles for the killer.
Except Huntress can’t hit anything on indoor maps/ high wall loops/ small high rock loops. So I would say that’s not why killers are 110

i have a 50 - 60 second chase and 2 gens pop. 3 gens left with 1 hook. if i play nice its clearly a foolish choice, so in order to win i have totunnel, and survivors act like i committed this great sin, killer is literally against time. and if i chase someone else they flashlight rescue them, obviously the survivors feel great on pulling off a save but the killer is way behind schedule and becomes frustrated for being robbed. so why cant survivors ingrain that into their heads?
they say the tunneled survivor doesnt play, what does that mean? theyre running from the killer and clearly playing.as opposed to what? doing a gen? the generators need a rework because holding m2 is also boring, id say you have to look for parts scattered around the map in order to repair the gens such as gears , gasoline, etc, and reduce the time for gens, that would at least gives killers more time and spot survivors more often. but streamers shouldnt publicly shame killer players for tunneling, because even they do it too.
Honestly who cares what survivors think? You play for your fun because they play for there’s. If I start losing I start tunneling to force them off gens to come take hits or lose a teammate. If they let them die and stay on gens then that’s their choice. I always tunnel on indoor maps because I play Huntress and I don’t think it’s fair that I’m at an extreme disadvantage for being on that map. So I don’t play nice. Just play how you want and if they cry in egc move on to the next match or turn chat off. Simple.

They are forced to try if the Huntress is actually skilled, which you're implying that you aren't. Keep doing whatever you please, just don't use it as an excuse because Huntress didn't receive her so needed buffs.
You don’t have to try at all at high wall loops of small rock loops. Just hold W and force the m1. If they ready the hatchet you keep holding W and get an extra 3 loops because she’s 110.

The movement speed was just reverted - rightfully so.
Only rightfully so because survivors don’t want to have to try against her. Still the most map dependent killer of all. They need to make it to where you can’t get indoor maps if you play her. Oh well back to tunneling and slugging on indoor maps I guess.

You said i need gamesense to know. Now you say i am not supposed to know. Your statemant makes just no sense. Also as killer with enough gamesense you can make guesses where survivors are. Its a totally different initial situation. You cannot do this as survivor, that would be just gambling. I cannot remember dopped pallets i dont even know that theyre dropped by someone else.
If you cant understand what I mean I give up lol, this is abysmally simple to understand. I use game sense to guess where survivors are, YOU use game sense to guess which pallets are used. I cant make it any more simple than that lol.

So tell me exactly how i can know what pallets are gone?
You aren't supposed to know which pallets are gone lol, what did people do before kates perks? Just like mi not supposed to know where survivors are. The perks fundamentally change that, but that's not the standard.
Thats now what game sense is, so your point is moot. Game sense is using intuition to make a best guess which pallets are gone not to KNOW which ones are gone. Just like if a survivor is unhooked by a gen and they don't heal I can make the deduction that they are doubling that gen. If that makes sense. So WoO showing you where everything is at removes all the skill from you having to remember which pallets were dropped or which ones are broke or which ones your mates gave up.

How exactly is it game sense if you cant know whrere youre mates used up the pallets?
You can use game sense to know what pallets are used lol. Just like I can to know generally where survivors are. If you see a fellow survivor loopin on one side of the map and see that they’ve been on a 3 minute chase, game sense should tell you that the pallets in that area are most likely. If WoO isn’t game sense as a perk than neither is any aura read perk from killers.

If you cant find survivors because of distortion, then you really need to practice your killer play.

Meanwhile Lightborn dosnt require any tokens and can counter both perks and items, for a whole game.
So it would only be fair that Lightborn had tokens 3, and after each "blind counter" it would loose one, and only regain counters if the killer got people hooked??
Countering flashys is nowhere close to comparable to countering aura reads. And if a killer wants to waste a whole perk slot on Lightborn then you should be fine with it unless you would rather them be running Pain Rez, Pop, Dead Lock, Corrupt, or UW?
-
ONE TOKEN literally counters every aura read perk in the game with lethal’s effects EXCEPT for the last Bitter Murmur proc in which you get a 2 second aura read after all gens are done and Hex Retribution. Not only that it tells you which perk the killer has exactly and even when out of tokens you can hide in a locker because you know what perks they have too. It’s very annoying tbh.

FOMO ("Fear of Missing Out") is literally predatory.
The entire origin on the word is based on manipulating people who have varies forms of anxiety, self-esteem issues, or those suffering from negative deprivation; people within those groups are hurt and manipulated the most by this tactic, and considering the wide scope of the internet, it isnt hard to companies to find and advertise to these people, which is frustrating since it's become so common place in the world as a whole.
It might be fine to you, but the tactic is still scummy, it's design is focused on targeting and manipulating vulnerable people for profit, which I (and many others) cannot stand for.
I only use the term FOMO for everyone who is going to respond to easily understand what I mean. So that way I don’t have to waste time explaining that seasonal cosmetics that leave every year do not count. I don’t normally call them FOMO cosmetics because they are simply just limited time cosmetics.

This isn't research. People are telling you to go look up actual educational resources made by people with degrees, don't pretend your sampling of the DBD Playerbase (most whom aren't agreeing with you) is evidence for your stance.
FOMO by all aspects is a marketing tactic meant to prey on people's fear of missing out (it's literally the name of the strategy). It's predatory by nature, and to pretend otherwise is being willfully ignorant. Plain and simple. If you want research, ask an economist.
I’m asking people specifically why they don’t like FOMO skins! And everyone here is telling me why! So yes I am doing research on the question I want answered.

It’s gotta be Huntress for me! Her running animation looks like she’s on the hunt, the Mori is very good for being as old as it is with the axe getting stuck in the survivors head. Her idle animation where she sways backs and forth and tilting her head from sides to side while humming the lullaby is beautifully done. And when she reacts up an hatchet she straightens her head and arches back showing that she’s focusing on her target. Also extra bonus points for being so tall! She could have her own game in my opinion! Outstanding lore and story and honestly I think is iconic enough to have her own movie. Especially since there are so few iconic female slashers. I record everything single match I play against and as her because of my infatuation with the character. She’s definitely my Object of Obsession!

I think it's kinda weird that most of the game's playerbase is generally considered unable to play a lot of the ranged cast at higher levels because of console controls making aiming difficult. Now, this issue has been in the game since Huntress, so I think we've all sorta just internalized that it's how things are, but does it really have to be that way? Surely, there's something that could be done to even the odds, at least just a little.
My proposal to give Console Killers more of a shot (pun intended) would be an aiming reticle, which I feel could be added to most ranged killers without making them OP. Maybe Huntress, especially in her PTB state, would be more overtuned, but I think other characters like DS and Trickster would be fine.
Thoughts?
I tried saying that ranged killers struggle on console and I got mocked for it and told that console players don't struggle at all, so I would say they probably won't make any changes anytime soon. I was fighting for you and me but no one agrees :(

Twitter one is skewed, ie shiny pin, starting side by side, the survivor looopong super sloppy and the killer looping tight.
