I think I did, I know I hooked at least 3 of them twice. one of them DCd and I chased them all and kicked gens al lot, it was weird but I'll take it. now if I could only get adept shape as easy. I had it on PS4 but the trophies don't carry over to 5
Myers Adept was a rough one for me, what I did was avoid the Obsession to max out my perks and go after the non-Obsessions as much as I could. If I had to down the Obsession it was always an instadown to save STBFL and PWYF stacks. Best map is probably an indoors map like Midwich or Hawkins (Lerys has too many LOS blockers and Gideon has too many pallets). Eventually I got it in Purple ranks, if you want to derank for it I suggest going for Evil Incarnate- or play Trickster :p
-
Did you get the hooks from the DCs? If so then it doesnt matter, as long as you chased and hooked them a good while before they did it.
-
Really? I just run Object of No Mither on Midwich.

I believe @Yords named the pig in another thread and it caught like wildfire.

This is too far, even for a horror game. I know there's a couple of threads on here already about this, but just to make it formal:
Comment below to sign this makeshift petition to keep Alex the Pig in the game. Maurice needs another animal friend!
PS If a mod or dev wants to pin this it would be great. Ha ha just kidding.... unless? 😳
I got you :)

It's like the concept of hers immunity with vaccines- if enough people in a city get vaccinated, almost no one gets sick. Likewise, when a ton of people ran DS, those who didn't almost never got tunneled/picked up after hook-down. Now that no one's running DS anymore, people are seeing increasing numbers of tunneling.
-
What if Main Event did double damage on knives? That would justify using it for the short amount of time, not being able to perform other actions while using it and possibly (but probably not) the short amount of time to activate it.
-
I'm waiting to experience the changes they'll put out in the 4.6.1 bugfix, but right now I think he needs Main Event changes as well as some edits to the Laceration meter. Something along the lines of no decay or less knives to injure.
-
Why is tunneling such a bad thing? It's a tactic that's not punishable by the devs or game, Killers only get punished for it when there's a reason not to tunnel (DS, map pressure in another area, etc.). If you don't want to tunnel that's your own rule, but if the Survivors make the mistake of letting it happen then that's on them.
-
No Sluzzy, the devs balance the game around your games specifically so its as horrible an experience as possible for you specifically.

Everyone: Oh look at the cute lil piggy!
Holy ######### I didn't even see that guy. The pig is OP, pls nerf.

Its technically possible but almost impossible to do bc of Hatch mechanics and the fact that your fellow Survivors need to be dead by the time you pop the last gen. I got it being an #########, 99'd 2 gens while I waited for a Huntress to down and kill the last of my teammates. Once she died I popped the gen, hid till Huntress found hatch and opened the gate w/Resilience and Spine Chill speed buffs.
-
I like to run off-meta perks, relying on anything meta is how Survivors get lazy IMO. Recently I've been running Smash Hit, Power Struggle, Flip-Flop and Unbreakable. Ik Unbreakable is kinda meta but it goes with the other 3 perks very well, to stun a Killer while getting picked up and be on the other side of the map by the time they realized what happened.
-
Hag isn't boring, she just requires a different playstyle. To some people (like myself) a couple well-set traps that ends the chase before it starts is more fun that getting looped for 30-40 seconds, more if its a good Survivor.

The only killer that is 110% with no power to injure is Hag but Hag's power is to place trap and teleport for "free" hit. Huntress and Deathsligner are arguably weaker than Hag on Lery because both can't really use their power if the survivor are smart enough to not go in long ass corridor. Hag's trap can/will be activated because survivor don't pay attention & you can push survivor you're chasing toward your trap & trap bait (start the animation to place a trap so the survivor leave but you ain't placing a trap).
I'm talking just using M1 on a 110% Killer.

Play M1 as a 110% killer... Good luck!
Go Lery's. If its any 110% Killer Hag is best as she's the smallest and darkest of the bunch, but Trickster specifically you'll want to break every pallet you can, learn the shortcuts, stay out of LOS and catch up to Survivors when they're not looking. Personally getting merciless with 110% M1 Killer is so empowering, because at that point you have skill with looping and gen management- can't pin that on a power or perks (Trickster's aren't that good, except Starstruck which I got once or twice cause again, 110%).
-
No0b3 isn't coming back. Not to say he was bad at the game or mean, he's just too burnt out at this point and can't keep a consistent schedule. If he does make another video, the breaks inbetween will just get longer and longer until he's gone for good.
It broke my heart writing this, but its sadly true.
-
Chaser emblem is bugged, also knife takedowns don't count as winning a chase. I got it with M1 Trickster, so ideally use you power as minimally as possible. This may change with the upcoming bugfix, but as of right now thats how it is.
-
I'll have to play him and against him to be sure, but I think he needs more. Yes the movement speed and recoil changes are amazing, but the fact that Laceration decays still seems like an issue, seeing as how it forces him to commit or lose all progress on that Survivor. Either remove the cooldown on Laceration, make injuring a Survivor take less knives, or have Survivors perform an action to remove Laceration (like Deep Wound,). Additionally, the fact that Main Event cannot be stored is an issue seeing as how its not that powerful an ability. If Oni can do it with Blood Fury (as can Plague technically, but she needs a fountain) why not let Trickster do it too? As it is the strat is to 99 the ability like Myers' Tier 3, except Myers still benefits from a smaller TR (and he's 115%, but thats not needed for Trickster), and Trickster's knives are more needed than stalking and preparing an instadown.
TL;DR Changes seem good, but he may need more. Will need to try him out to form a concrete idea.
-
Never, because I don't tunnel unless they're asking for it. The best moment was when I picked up an annoying Laurie after she recently got unhooked, but I guess she healed her unhooker cause no DS.
I 'tunneled' a Laurie and didn't get hit by DS. This is truly the greatest of timelines.
-
You really have to wait for bad survivors and never use your power. It'll hurt you more than anything, especially since the knives dont do anything for Chaser. I got it doing M1 only Trickster (on Lery's of all maps) against bad survivors at red ranks. The only time I used my knives was once at a safe loop with lots of LOS for easy knife hits, plus the Survivor was already injured so I only had to hit them 8 times (doing M1 only, I didn't bother with addons). Additionally, one Survivor was dead and the other 2 were healing each other up.
Got really lucky with this being the second attempt. I have insane luck with 'impossible' achievements- I got Taking One For The Team and Left Behind a couple months ago in the same match, Evil Incarnate on my 4th try, and the only Adept I didn't do at red ranks was Plague (was Purple instead).
-
Might be an issue of having to point directly at the Killer- Premonition gives you a 45 degree radius. Best way to use it is to loop a Killer while not looking at them, then when they're stuck in an animation look at them (activating Premonition) and point quickly.
Honestly this challenge isnt just difficult, its toxic. Everytime I try it I get facecamped and tunnelled because the Killer thinks I taunt them at every pallet and window.
-
Except when Trickster slides down the pole he's going to the bottom of everyone's tier lists and twerking it on the Neaty.
-
Personally I feel the opposite- yeah Trickster is dog-poop but his design is interesting, backstory is good, and perks are pretty good for their niches! Yun-Jin on the other hand doesn't feel that special to me, a lot of people like her but she doesn't really intrigue me. Her perks are mediocre at best and I probably won't run any of them after I get her Adept.

Killers are expecting way too much with the new killer and is very much so underrated. He needs patience for his kills unlike most that seem way too easy like Spirit, Freddy, and Huntress, to only name a few. Killers are too used to downing people too fast and that is not fun for survivors at all. A slugged 4K is not the only way to have fun.
I played him at least 10 games the past two days and only had one game where someone got out through the actual gates. He was a lot of fun to play too and really is powerful. You can't spam his blades and waste them against everything and be sure and hit the survivor as much as you can. Be smart, not be a spammer! You must be strategic with your shots and not waste them. It only takes a few to injure them and then again to down them. I had one in the basement and I was actually able to down two at the same time with a single load of knives. This is extremely strong and I couldn't have done that with a killer like Wraith.
The devs should really wait a while and not have a knee-jerk reaction and buff him because his power has almost no counterplay when most maps are ridiculously sparse now. There needs to be a lot of time to see how he is doing. He is a strong killer. With all the powerful strong killer perks, he is going to be unstoppable.
Killers need to adjust their playstyle with Trickster and stop trying to play him like the other killers and expecting easy wins.
Thanks Sluzzy! Your bait and troll post made my day! Can't wait to try the OP insanity that is Trickster!
-
Gotta love that the most optimal way to play him is to NOT use his power XD
-
Swap NOED with Rancor- you want the Obsession dead so they can't quickly open an Exit Gate. It'll also give you info throughout the match, so you can find Survivors more easily and get those Remember Me and No Way Out tokens.
-
I stop playing Trickster and get on my main.
-
I actually like trying for Adept Trickster. Its the fastest and easiest way to derank that I've ever had! So long Rank 1, hello Rank 20!

i don’t get it, we get a killer with 3 great perks, a survivor with good cosmetics and two great perks, and a cool lobby theme. Trickster is good you guys just seriously can’t play him lol. There’s a lot of short loops he can easily hit over that huntress can’t due to hatchet hit box he’s also faster at damaging from long range and can apply pressure to survivors in a short distance. Overall a decent B tier killer idk why everyone’s so mad and acting like this is the worst chapter ever

Surge can be use efficiently and isn't complete garbage. He's the Killer version of Monstrous Shrine.
-
He only does one thing better than Deathslinger and Huntress- he's f a b u l o u s.
Other than that just get his perks and leave him alone till the devs change him in a few months/years.

This killer is NOT easy at all. this guy has an insane skill-floor and skill-cieling. The dev got no clue what the heck is hard or easy. All skillshot oriented killers nearly always the hardest to master and play. To give you a clue, they say MYERS is hard. Wow, Staring at survivors is so hard. they rate Ghostface as hard, Blight as hard when he is at best intermediate. Freddy is apparently hard....
Trickster is very difficult, the tag easy is completely wrong. If everyone was good at trickster, every person that picks up CSGO would instantly be Global Elite rank in CSGO with expert tracking skills.
I don't think you understood my comment.
Skill floor refers to how hard it is to use- how hard is it to throw knives?
Skill ceiling refers to how good the best players are- what can the best Trickster do? More specifically, what can the best Trickster do better than any other Killer with a similar amount of skill?

I mean on controller his skill floor definitely isn't easy so. Plus his knives' hitboxes need work point blank.
Well no offense to controller players but isnt it harder in general for you guys? Deathslinger, Huntress, Blight, Nurse...
Hitboxes, movement speed, lethality- he needs a whole makeover, ignoring the fact he's more of a clown than Kenneth.
-
Easy refers to his skill floor- how hard it is to learn how to use his power most effectively.
What the devs made FUBAR was his skill ceiling- the most you can do with his power once you have 'mastered' him.

Should be obvious but to be clear: Do not run them together! FTP will deactivate Blood Pact! That being said,
Build 1: Blood Pact, Breakout/Hope, Exhaustion Perk (your choice) and 4th perk (your choice)
Pretty vague, but I don't run Blood Pact often. Best I can think is to maximize speeding yourself up, using Hope you can chase the Killer for miles once the Exit Gates are open, allowing other Survivors to get out. Otherwise Breakout can work well too, where you and the Obsession work together to keep your 7% speed boost (14% for you, using BP+BO) and as a duo you can get the last Survivor to wiggle off a lot. I think that combo would do well in a SWF dedicated to preventing hooks, using other perks like Sabo, MoM, DH, and/or DS.
Build 2: For The People, Iron Will, Inner Strength, Exhaustion Perk (your choice)
The drawback of using FTP is pretty rough, so you need to minimize it as much as you can. Iron Will will make you silent enough to slip away and make it harder to catch you in a jungle gym or indoor map, whereas Inner Strength will quickly self-heal once Broken goes away (and you can reuse FTP that much more quickly). Exhaustion perk is self-explanatory in both builds.
-
The closest I've ever felt to playing as Trickster was when Ghostface was first released onto the PTB. Power does practically nothing and you're an M1 killer. At least GF has 115% movement speed.

People said Blight is weak and now he is 3rd strongest killer in the game, Also people said Twins are weak now they are top tier killer.
Lets wait and test him before we judge.
Please tell me how Twins are a top tier Killer- they will get destroyed by any good team.

Hi there - your friendly neighborhood Community Manager here! Thanks for leaving your feedback. ❤️
As with all of our killers, we have been and will continue to closely monitor feedback about The Trickster. Changes can always happen down the road! Keep leaving your feedback here for us to bring back to the team. 😊
Thanks and have a great day ahead!
No offense Mr. Dev but this sounds like an automated customer service reply- y'all had time to listen for changes, and even had an extra week to do so. Its disappointing that the community rarely gets heard or acknowledged when it counts.
-
Because there's a ton of sweaty tryhards at Rank 1 who will destroy you ingame then roast you in chat afterwards for not being 100% optimized. Its annoying, but I like to run some different builds from time to time if they work.
-
Did you not get it yet? One Merciless win should be enough, it sounds like you're doing fine.

Probably not, but they'll buff him in upcoming hotfixes, midchapter at the latest.

Rank 1 Killer, Rank 3 Survivor. I play a lot less Survivor though, so if I really wanted I'm pretty sure I could get Rank 1 there too.
