The most idiotic part of the Knight is that survivors are able to buff themselves and remove his power simultaneously. Under no circumstances should survivors get any sort of buff from any killer using their powers.
but then survivors might lose sometimes and we can’t have that!

Next midchapter
-
It is so, so funny that the knight’s power buffs survivors.
-
why not implement an auto-ban system for certain words (like slurs)? I had that on a system I ran more than a decade ago.

not mine. it takes me 10 seconds to write either camping killer or tunneling killer
what a weird way to waste 10 seconds of your life

Survivors will say that if you’re not “playing fair” then you’re being toxic. Of course, their definition of “playing fair” means you deliberately sandbag yourself, give them infinite second chances, and never try to win. “Boo hoo, the killer camped, the killer tunneled, the killer guarded a 3 gen, the killer ran meta perks, the killer didn’t make the game fun for me.”
Ignore all that.
-
The fact that the most common answer for how to have fun as killer is “just meme around and don’t try to win” should be setting off massive alarms at BHVR. It won’t, but it should.
-
I stopped having fun with killer a long time ago, so I just play survivor only.
”Sometimes it feels like the system is against you”
It is.
-
One of the strongest perks in the game
-
Bots aren’t going to call me a slur in the end game chat because I did literally anything as killer. Bring on the bots!
-
Myers. I think the way they translated him from the movie to the game was really fun and I like how a lot of his addons change up his play style. Hearing the Halloween theme slam in when you tier up to EW3 is great. Regardless of him being weak, I think he’s really fun to play as and against.
-
“look at how killer sided this is”
”I escaped both times”
👍
-
If you pay attention to how BHVR writes dev notes, it's always "you" when talking about survivors and "them" when talking about killers. They do not see killers as legitimate players of the game. They exclusively look at things from the survivors' point of view. To that end, no, they do not care if killers have fun.
-
This is some real bullshit from BHVR, and makes it pretty clear that they’re happy to take your money and give you the finger in return.
-
“You'd get more results if the reporting process wasn't so tedious.”
But then they’d have to deal with reports!
-
The maps aren’t even that different so they’re just screwing up in the same ways over and over:
Main building with 2-4 god windows and 2-4 god pallets, surrounded by a bunch of strong tiles connected to each other around at least half the map, with maybe a single small dead zone in the middle.
Or it’s an indoor map which is just a bunch of small hallways and 20+ god pallets.
Over and over and over.
-
Killers should be immune to blinds and stuns during locker grabs. After all, we wouldn’t want to have any situations with no counterplay, right survivors?
-
Roll 1d6. On a 7+, reveal Ghostface.
-
Provide killers an incentive not to tunnel and camp and I bet a lot of them won’t tunnel and camp.
BHVR is removing those incentives (e.g. BBQ bloodpoint bonus, Devour Hope moris) because ?????
-
If a map isn’t the size of Texas with at least 20 god pallets, is it even a DBD map?
-
it’s okay for survivors to lose, the game doesn’t need a million contingencies to ensure they always have a way to escape and teabag the killer on their way out
-
“End game perk shouldn’t work in end game, this makes perfect sense, I am a genius”
-
tittle
-
I feel like they gave up on the killer reviews pretty much immediately
-
finally, a well-deserved nerf.
-
It’s a killer issue so it won’t get fixed (see also: silent slug bug, auto-aim causing missed hits)
-
I don’t give a ######### about making the game fun or interesting for survivors. They never care if the game is fun for me.
-
Reporting cheaters requiring a video and external report is ridiculous and absurd.

True, that's why DS and OTR still work during end game, to guarantee survivors get out no matter what.
Ah wait-
FWIW I believe those perks should work in EGC and it’s weird to disable them.

You cannot just pick them up in certain situations though. Survivor under a pallet? Survivor in the open with a flashlight user nearby? Boil over user in a high place? Using Plague, Oni, or Myers? All of those situations prevent you from picking up a survivor without losing a great deal of momentum.
lose/lose situations are okay if they happen to killers, apparently
-
BHVR does not care about cheaters.
-
It doesn’t justify it at all.
-
Why not just reduce the number of gen repairs needed from 5 to 3? Make each map have four exit gates that only take five seconds to open! Killers can only move when a survivors does the come here gesture! All great ideas for BHVR’s think tank of good design!
-
The only way this change is okay is if killers become immune to blinds and stuns when picking up or carrying survivors.
-
I uninstalled the game, and I haven’t run into a single cheater since.
-
I love survivors whining about “free” this or “auto” that, as though I can just go get a sandwich and come back to a 4K.
-
“free tunnel mechanic for garbage killers”
lmao
-
Doesn’t sound like he’s failing if you’re infected.
-
They balance exclusively around solo players despite SWF being in the game for years, which is why SWF is consistently overpowered.
-
A functional anticheat
Devs who care about the quality of the game

A massive blight nerf? He does not need a nerf at all.
I absolutely agree, but I still expect them to do it.
-
I’m guessing a massive nurse or blight nerf.
-
Why shouldn’t infection continue mid-chase?
-
wow, what a weird coincidence that a killer that got nerfed into uselessness is played far less resulting in much less killer variety, I wonder if there’s a lesson to be learned here, who can say
-
Probably because one of the devs got owned by a billy on stream and got mad about it (see also: instablind flashlights, madness lullaby skill checks)
-
They have deliberately made the reporting mechanism nearly impossible to use because them they don’t have to bother with it. They don’t care about cheaters.
-
More zombies with better AI. Tier 3 tentacle hits should instadown infected survivors.
-
But if they remove aim dressing then killers might hit the survivor they were aiming at and not a window sill, wall, rock, tree, or even NOTHING AT ALL (which yes has happened to me, RPD is full of invisible ######### that will pull aim off a survivor like this).
-
Massive widespread cheating because EAC doesn’t work.
-
- Remove the blink recharge. She should be able to blink again immediately after fatigue and waiting on tokens to recharge is stupid.
- Give her a basekit instadown by making it so that if you blink through a survivor on your second blink, they become exposed for 2 seconds (long enough to be hit by an immediate attack, but short enough that it wears off if they miss).
I generally believe every killer should have an instadown in their basekit.
