  • I guarantee that you don’t need to worry about a Blood Warden play. Just open those gates right up!

  • The devs' current targeted kill rate is 60%. HOWEVER, this does not automatically mean killers have a 60% win rate! Imagine a killer plays 10 games. A 60% kill rate means 24 survivors die, and 16 escape. A win for the killer is a 3k or 4k. Here's one set of games: 4k, 4k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k The killer has a 60% kill rate, but only a 20% win rate (with an 80% draw rate). Her

  • As the number of characters and therefore perks have ballooned over the years, we’ve seen a large number of new perks that, at best, go unused because they don’t give enough reward or synergy. At worst, they cause detrimental gameplay and bugs. Because the character design model up to this point requires every character to come with three perks, that just exacerbates the problems above. I beli

  • I keep seeing over and over survivors talking about killers having lost if the survivors finish all the gens, usually in the context of discussions around NOED. Just a reminder for those folks that survivors don’t win by finishing all the gens, they need to open a gate and escape too! Saying a killer lost because all gens are done is like saying a football team lost because they were behind on

  • Since survivors have basekit anti-tunnel and will soon have basekit anti-camp and basekit anti-slug, it seems only fair for killers to get a basekit counter to survivors engaging in unfun boring no counterplay gen rush gameplay. Maybe the first time a gen reaches 50% it will automatically block for a while or instantly regress a large amount! Maybe survivors will have to take a chase to gain re

  • I've been able to replicate this with nearly 100% reliability. Once the gates are opened, if you run forward out the gate with the controller (holding left shoulder + up on the left stick) while nodding your head with the mouse, it seems the "escape" trigger zone in the exit doesn't trigger, and you wind up outside the "normal" areas of the map. You can run back into the map through the trigger

  • I think it would be neat if there were a series of offerings that could retheme a particular game back to an event theme, including interactables. Like a snowman offering that brings back the holiday lights and the interactable snowmen. Or a Halloween offering that brings back the kickable pumpkins. I think this would be a fun way to keep the sillier side of DBD available all year.

  • Given the large number of killer perks that only function for basic attacks, I feel it’s only fair to introduce that same restriction to the strongest perks on the survivor side. This would leave perks like Dead Hard and Off The Record as still very strong against many killers and in many situations. It would also eliminate many unfair situations where a killer outplays a survivor with their po

  • I've been able to reliably replicate this issue multiple times. When loaded into a lobby, and I have two loadouts with a common power addon, but in the first loadout the addon is in Addon Slot 1, and in the second loadout it's in Addon Slot 2, when I switch from the loadout with the Addon in Slot 2 to the loadout with the Addon in Slot 1, I get kicked out of the lobby with a "Disconnected from H

  • I'm so, so, so tired of swinging on a survivor and this stupid game decides I really wanted to hit the wall next to them. Please, fix this garbage already.
