omg noob baby survivor, just watch tru3 counter play video! You just need to go near a pallet and DC before throwing it - now the killer has to guess if you rage quitted or just crashed.
You can even hard counter its DC perk with the new survivor's one: Save DC for Last Hook.

dude i never use those addons and still 4k pretty much every match except for hatch escapes in red ranks. i even play her addonless since i ran out of duration and trap placing speed addons which are the best ones imo.
Trap setting speed add ons are also the best imo.

Why should survivors be viable without being forced to use toolboxes or medkits?
Because those go away mid-game. Unless you want Medkits, toolboxes and maps to last all game? Also, these items can be temporarily removed with a perk.

What if I’ve purchased the game on two different occasions? What about if I bought the disc for it originally but later bought the digital copy? This wouldn’t work.

I’d say they both have the potential to be good, but are just completely inferior to their PC counterparts. You’d need a lot of practice to use them against decent survivors, compared to Freddy or Ghostface etc.
They’re definitely harder on console

The only killers that are majorly different on console are huntress and nurse, both are still good on console though.
