Don't mind me. xD
Just played a match on a Game, and while they were predropping every single pallet on my fat head and T-bagged, I just start imagine:
"What if they have something different to stun me or even cripple me, aside from a pallets?"
And then for the rest of the match I was thinking about it and wondering - "My God for 6 years straight, poor survivors don't have something to use aside from pallets and flashies..."
-
Imagine playing fair as a M1 killer against survivors with 4 BNP, which camping and predroping every single pallet on a Eyrie of crows?
-
No, still works. But why would they?

Slugging won't work when the baked-in Unbreakable update is out.
Is this update even going to happen? I don't think so. Bad idea.

As much as I want to say "yes", but it's not. Just slug.

Might be nov 22.

Hag is bugged, I've experienced this and many more. Great anxiety inducing is the next update since in the PTB Hag was BROKEN.
Let's hope they fix the PTB bugs as well as the current ones
Yeah, same, I were never paying any attention to this, but it's time for Developers to take a look, it's kinda frustrating in some situations when you preparing to hit at the trap, but they just keep holding the button and completely messing you up.
-
Don't bother with end-game salt.=)
You did nothing wrong.

No and it's not a single complaint there's loads of people out there that see it the same way people who play killer need to play right no need to play toxic
Tunneling or camping is annoying, but not toxic.

I feel like it has something to do, when survivors are killing themselves on hooks, like the game don't understand or not consider it as a sacrifice, idk.
-
Oh yeah, I did this already.=)
First match, 4k but only 3 in challenge for some reason.
Second match, 4k but only 2 in challenge...
Never when I got 4k, there was an actual 4 for the challenge. xD

Don't hate on maps. Learn them. There are a lot of maps in the game. You will have better luck on the next one :)
Well, I can argue with that. =)
There is nothing about learning them, I know ALL maps by heart, every single possible tile etc... But it's doing nothing for me, when I have to chase survivors for 2 minutes in eyrie of crows main building or suffo pit. You can't chase them otherwise, knowing the map does nothing!
Or dealing with chains of pallets because of bad RNG.
-
Dh is strong, only when a killer don't know that you have one.
After first use, the killer will expect it for the rest of the match, and DH will not be a problem anymore.

The game gives me Eyrie every time I want to play Ghostface, so I'm not too fond of the map.
I strongly dislike Red Forest as well, but this time because unless I'm running range addons on Hag, 10 traps is miserable on such a big map. (I know Eyrie would be worse on Hag, but thankfully, the game does not hate me that much as to put me there when I'm queueing as her).
That is so hard to trap on the maps like Eyrie or Game because there is no grass...
In the Game you still can put them by the edges of the objects or doors and they will be a good traps, but in Eyrie of crows not only there is no grass, but you just have no idea how to place a traps outside of survivor's line of sight. It's just so hard to do. They will notice any trap and try to trigger it and instantly run away.
You just can't place efficient traps without having them be at the open for the eyes. Completely adds to the difficulty of the match.
I was playing so many times as a hag on that map... Holy hell, so many losses tho, never give survivors a chance to get a gen in the main building if you play as a hag. This is one way to lose quickly.

Just played Gideons vs Cenobite and not only did he find the cube instantly at game start, he found it every time within 30 seconds… when he wasn’t downing people that were suiciding. Whether this is an exploit or just, as some enabling killers like to call it “just smart play knowing how to find the cube”… it’s clearly broken.
It's his box. Not yours...

That is true!
Personally having a yellow bar at the day time. But from a survivor's point of view, I'm having a good connection. -_-

Thank you.=3
But I'd rather let it out and be done with, rather than bumping and stash anger inside me.
The main thing is - As long as there are favorite and hated maps, I'd rather RNG decide, than the random guy from a lobby. They mostly picking the most hated ones.

Messing with in-game files only at your own risk. EAC don't care about your intensions.

Again, they call it a bug, and they don't use the word exploit. This conversation isn't going anywhere. I'm done with this.
EXPLOITS: ABUSING BUGS OR ERRORS IN DESIGN TO GAIN A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
- Advertising exploits
- Exploit bugs, errors in design, or undocumented features to gain access to what otherwise would not be available or to obtain a competitive advantage
Here, take it. And I'm out.

The official game rules has a list of bannable exploits, and Hug Tech isn't on it.
FIN
They refer to "HUG TECH" as a bug exploit! So if you see the "BUG EXPLOIT" is bannable, than hug tech too!
People just don't report it simply because of a mentality of: - "Oh it's so hard to do, you actually need a skill for doing so", but still!
It's a Bug use!

Like I said, spite is the most common emotion among DBD players.
This is purely irrational. If you didn't know another player had intentionally sent you to a map, you wouldn't care.
Make map offerings hidden.

Hug Tech isn't bannable. You can report it, but that won't do anything. If Hug Tech was an exploit, then a dev would have called it an exploit instead of a bug.
Bug exploits refer to attacks in the form of programs, blocks of data or sets of commands that take advantage of system vulnerabilities in order to gain profit or to expose any particular system.
From this concept I can clearly tell, that if you know that "Hug tech" is a bug and you intensionaly keep using that against survivors to take an advantage in chases - you're bug exploiting.
Bug exploiting is banable.
Fin
-
Because the "PIPING" system works around "How many generators", "How many times chases were braked", "How many heals" etc.
From the match when Killer DC, you only getting "Escaped points". Thats it.

Well say goodbye to more build diversity, some builds and perks only work on X maps.
And if the maps are all balanced the same what would be the big deal?
I don't think it's a good build, if you can use it only on "Certain maps". So it's a build issue.
"And if the maps are all balanced the same what would be the big deal?" - for my HUGE and OBNOXIOUS EGO, yes. xD
It has something to do with "equality", if you can say... Everyone is equal, so no one aside from RNG should decide the things like map.

She said it was a bug. That isn't the same thing as an exploit. Bugs aren't bannable and exploits are bannable. That is how the official game rules work.
You can consider "Intensional bug use" as an Exploit. If I see a Blight intensionally doing that against me, I can report it.
-
No, I still don't want some random guy from a lobby decide on which map I will play.
Let the RNG decide.

So, how would you fix it?
Deny PC the ability to rebind keys? Set some keys as not bindable? Some people use the mousewheel for other binds because they don't want to slam on their spacebar. Put a timer on how fast Hag can react to something, which would artificially limit their response time?
I want to know how you intend to fix this issue without outright nerfing PC players or Hag specifically. Or, I guess you could just nerf Hag for being available for PC. Any nerf to Hag would effect them on console as well, though.
It's the same as saying "Nurse is much better on PC, let's nerf her on PC to the level of consoles" - How? Messing with her camera sensitivity?
They can't simply do something about it.

That's a pretty bad argument against something being a banable offense. The killer pays with three escapes when he holds one surv hostage in a corner but that still banable
But you are right would be good to get a mod to answer this a clear official answer is the bast answer
Holding someone hostage by any means is a reportable offence tho. Doesn't matter killer or survivor.
I'm actually think that... Aside from exploiting or holding someone hostage... Killer just can't be reported for anything else gameplay wise... Am I right?
-
@Starrseed said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3261140#Comment_3261140
Working with the survivors is just as reportable as working with the killer and what is more working with the killer then snitching out a hiding survivor and getting hatch for that.
Of course you can give hatch to a surv because he danced funny or had a charm you like the devs said that's okey I mean this specific situation when the killer sluggs one and the other hides the killer gets bored and let's the downed surv wiggle free to snitch and gifts hatch for that
My guy, the killer already paying for letting the survivor a hatch, he's earning less bp and less exp.
Dear MODS! I'm calling you to give a proper answer to this question! - If survivor snitching the other survivor and a killer killing this survivor, then the killer giving a hatch for a "snitch" survivor, does killer have done a reportable offence?

(Mechanical) Exploits shouldn't be openly explained or discussed in an open forum.
"Hug tech" - is an exploit which is messing with buggy collisions.
Hag is not exploiting anything by using a scrollwheel.

I'm not talking about playing against her on controller, I'm talking about playing her on controller versus playing her on mkb. She gets hits on mkb that controller players cannot get. That should not exist in a game with different inputs. When you do not have scroll wheel, you know when you go against it. It's that good.
The only difference between "Scrollweel" and just "Spamming" the teleport button is like what..? 0.1 or even 0.2 maybe?
I don't think it's affecting the main goal of getting insta hit anyway.
-
Eyrie of crows.
-
@Alcuin said:
She's not the best Killer but scroll wheel allows mkb players to cut down a chase in half. I just got hit instantly by one. Instantly, cannot do it on controller. There was an early dc, also, so I wasn't going to stay in the match either.
I've played another multiplayer game where scroll wheel can affect gameplay. In that particular game, if all things are equal, the scroll wheel user wins 100 times out of 100. That shouldn't exist in a multiplayer/crossplay game. Scroll wheel Hags shouldn't get free hits either.
You can still avoid a hit against a scroll wheel. If you can't do it on controller, I see that only as a personal problem.
If you know where the traps are:
- Avoid them.
- Crouch.
- In a chase, avoid this loop.
If you don't know where the traps and you can't instantly go on a opposite direction... Nothing to do but get hit.
-
@Starrseed said:

I do think it gets reporteble if you let the snitch go and give hatch for snitching
You know, I can give survivor a hatch just because of "Cute eyes", or even because we're wearing the same charm? By your logic, I can get a report for doing so. But I wouldn't.
It's not the killers problems that someone wanted to snitch. It's not actually forbidden to not be greatfull. Survivors who "snitch" doing that at their own risk, even If I give a hatch as a "thank you", I'll still report them afterwards.
The exact act of "snitching" - reportable.
If a killer kills because of "snitching" - killer is not reportable.
If a killer gives a hatch to the "snitch" - killer is not reportable.
-
@Starrseed said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3260293#Comment_3260293
OH pls don't give such advice. If the killer actually does that the other survivor could report that with video proof and both the snitch and the killer can face consequences
In these scenarios killers have nothing to do to be reported. The "snitch pointing at the locker" just makes killers to do their job. It doesn't really matter how.
Killers doing their job, even if someone is "helping" them, the only reportable case in this scenarios - Survivor who "snitch".
-
The thing I like about Hag's addons - you can create a completely different killer, completely different gameplay.=)
- Be a usual M1 (4.5ms) killer with ability to slow down survivors with traps at more radius... (Shoe and Mud)
- "Bodyblocking" Hag, preventing survivors completely to use windows and pallets at the loops in a chase... (Hand and Egg)
- Be a stealthy killer with right perks at the right moments... (Granma's heart and Shackles)
- Pretend to be a Sadako or Dredge by teleporting to a places ahead of survivors... (Rag and Shackles)
it can be much more fun for both Hag and survivors, and if you having a blast with such builds, please keep doing that.=)
I personally using Dried Cicada and Willow Wreath most of the times, placing "Camera flick" traps at the loops and windows, this is a fun to me, to see how survivors tripping to use that windows or pallets, or getting completely missguided and even disoriented in a different direction because of this 1 trap. xD
Hag can be played in a many different ways, so good luck and have fun finding your best and favorite one.=)

It's not the point of my thread here... It's just why some killer got a 4.6m/s and the other a 4.4, even, when some of them got a similar power
Ok, to the point of your thread...
Developers made some killers slower to encourage them to use their power more and rely on it. I agree I don't get with Blight being 4.6, but still the main reason for killers like Hag, Nurse, Huntress (etc) being slower, is that they will be overly oppressive and require less skill to use efficient. With these killers you have to be good with their powers, not M1.

Hag thrives on survivor mistakes. If survivors know what they're doing, the best hag main can't do anything.
There isnt a true hag main that will say that she doesn't need any buffs. Her needed buffs are not anything major or anything big. She has received no changes since 2018 and the game is different now. Hag mains on high MMR will tell you that they lose matches against survivors who know how to counter her power, and her power has a lot of counters, too many counters.
If you feel like hag is too powerful, you don't know how to counter her effectively.
I main survivor and the only killer I play is Hag. As a survivor, I mainly face hags that don't know what they're doing and 99% of the time, these hags get 3-4k, but not because she is too powerful, but because survivors make mistakes the whole game.
Just yesterday, I faced a hag as a solo player with survivors of higher prestige than me, 21 and 25, SWF with purple flashlights. And what happened, they died vs a hag that puts all her traps at the hook, a hag that never once kicked a gen. One could have survived if she had taken a hit while having endurance, but no, slow vaulting a window apparently seemed to be more appealing.
While playing hag, I more often than not face survivors that dont know what they're doing, or they're under the impression that hag is soooo weak and get cocky, basically throwing themselves at me and then they cry in end game chat.
If you need tips on how to counter hag, you know where i am
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind.=)

With iron grasp, agitation, monstruous shine
and go hook your first survivor in the basement, make two or three traps in there, like, where one can activate and the survivor can't see them with his flashlight, and jackpot

If you think hag is overpowered, youre one of those survivors that don't know how to face her )
Ok, I'll stop joking for a sec.=)
Guys just read closely please.=)
Hag is one of the most oppressive killers in Dbd if the player knows what she can do, and have a huge experience of how her ability works and maps. If you ever faced a hag main (real hag main), you'd understand that this killer don't need any buffs, she needs nerfs. (I'm gonna regret saying this...) Before she just snowball all 4 survivors in the matter of 1-2 minutes or even less, without using any basements or shackles.=) I really don't like to brag, but I know what she can do when a player plays her correctly.
Just believe me... If she gets speed buffs... Hag mains will get a really quick 4k matches and might end-up in a streak of 500 times.=)
But if you still want to buff her, go on, I'm not even going to argue.=3 Bring buffs to my beloved main!

I think it's a soloq don't have enough communication to be more efficient and have better experience... From there goes entitlement.
"Basically..."
Dead by Daylight players will often use the acronym "SWF" online in forums and chat rooms, but what does it mean? It stands for "survive with friends," indicating a match where you team up with your friends instead of random other players online.
In a lot of instances, this means that the game is much more likely to go in favor of the team that is playing with their friends, as they often have better communication when playing, giving them better results in battle.
