You have to remember, you CANNOT lower the missed shred fatigue. They already increased it slightly because it was faster to just chain-shred instead of walking, and they specifically don't want that. I like most of what you cover otherwise, though.
I oppose being able to turn in shred and calling it an "increase in his skill cap", shred being locked to a real-life lunge is one of the biggest parts of his skill-based play. I would hate for it to just turn into freddy's regular lunge lol
-
Every killer at red is above 55% killrate? I'm impressed. Pretty good job so far. (My escape rate on rotten fields has to be like 20%, I hate that map so much)
-
I've seen several people talk about exactly this topic, and I agree with you/them. This is not fixing what people hated (apart from her anal beads), it's just smoothing over some of the rough patches on the sandpaper dildo that is playing against spirit.
Having a mapwide spooky sound when she entered her power, like with how beads works now, would have been a way better fix for her base kit, letting people know that now is the time to do weird and unpredictable things. Instead, we're still stuck guessing at all the same things (except window vaults, those are no longer a glaring issue).
I mean, as happy as I am over not getting clapped by a 15-meter lunge anymore, I'm still going to dramatically sigh every time I get paired up against Rin.

Purple instaheal wasn't really a nerf, pink was actually busted and deserved it. It's almost like survs only lose really game breaking stuff.
Was WGLF giving 50% BP per token really game breaking? Because a perk that has 0 positive impact on a match has already been nerfed twice, and I'm still mad about it

If you think these cosmetics aren't cool now that other people can have them, you didn't like them in the first place. You enjoyed feeling like an elitist dong, and that's the sad truth.
Also, if you don't have legacy, you weren't in the cool kids club to begin with, so don't joke around (said by someone who started in 2018, and therefore obviously does not have legacy lol)

This is what happens when everyone blows through the first level in a weekend and then complained that they had nothing to do. Now they made level 2 so you actually have to work for it and people complain about that. Is this community ever happy about anything???
I'm happy... They looked at nurse & spirit, and are going to make real addons for billy as one of the next things on the to-do list. It's actually shaping up to be a better curve for killer power-level, which means trapper might get some love next year <3
-
"Those people WORKED to get their cosmetics"
Yeah, they sure "worked", playing DbD is such a harrowing ordeal /s
-
I love you all <3
-
Tfw you think because you played before other people that your $25 is aged and worth more
Or, even worse, that your old cosmetic nobody uses because it's not half as good as the new, incredible things they're cranking out, is only valuable because few others have it. Heaven forbid they delete all the memories and fun you had associated with that item by giving it to others, right?
It's such a shame people can't enjoy things if others also own them, why would God do this?
-
I like the challenges. The master ones of course need you to play with something in mind, but the regular ones are something you can just ignore and they'll pile up as you play regularly. No need to hard focus on something that accrues across games
-
Where's my native heritage killer! Let me call to the spirits of those who walked before me and summon the creatures of the land, to stomp the hell out of baby Dweet's at rank reset

I totally forgot about farmer and his legion, dabbing on the haters XD I've watched everything posted on his channel, so I'm kind of a fan XD I'm just forgetful

It is painful to me that no one mentioned painreliever. He might not be top notch coming to gameplay, but his voiceover... Ohgm god, it is so soothing
Thanks for reminding me about my boy PR, had to edit my comment

I got super pumped for DbD in the early days of the game by watching angrypug and admiralbahroo, but then I drifted away.
When I finally picked it up last year (November 2018, I got to play pre-legion and experience all that JOY) I was really into Monto, Puppers, and Noob3, while I'd check out tydetime for info on things.
Now that I have all the dlc, almost every perk unlocked for survivor and like half for killer, and play exclusively solo on either role, I love Otz.
My favs are:
-Otz, because he's a precious soul and mad genius, who feels for the survivors even though they only ever hurt him. Plus, he's a damn good trapper, and I love it.
-Noob3, because he's a sappy ######### who really loves his audience and can't show it without making himself cringe into oblivion. He's just a babe, unable to care without feeling awkward, yet filled with feelings nonetheless.
-Demi, Mr. Hotdog water himself. He's a crazy bastard, but he's never tried to hurt the people he "bullies," he just wants to make us laugh. He also goes way beyond what you'd expect and really tries to help out people having a rough time, the cheeky twat.
-Puppers, because he knows and remembers his audience, and has a REAL community. He worked hard to build his corner of the Internet, and it's a beautiful place.
-Monto, because he knows how to put on a show, and while he might be using his soundboard like, 90% more than required, he just wants to have fun and share that fun with his viewers.
I also like panda, who does a fantastic job on shrinewatch every week, zubat, who's a GOD behind the wheel when it comes to killing people, Paulie, who never stops researching, theorycrafting, and speculating for us, Tofu, for being a lovable goof, ScottJund, for being a crazy cat man and delivering more hatchets than Amazon. I'm probably forgetting people, but I - wait, Rhy is also a darling! Her juke montages, and her videos back when she was a little baby killer getting booli'd by mean old demi, warmed my heart but good. Samination deserves all the respect I could ever muster, because being an animator on YouTube just SUCKS, and yet there he is, killing it like an absolute paragon of hard work and dedication.
You might think I forgot painreliever, as the guy below me has said, but I was just waiting for the key...
...
...
... moment to mention how neat his work is. He really hunkers down and covers all the little aspects of his play, mentioning things that a lot of us would take for granted, but that's the stuff that needs mentioning the most, as it would really help out the new players. He's even got a spectacular, maniacal alter ego, Sawdette, and I love every second of it.

*declares they're a "bad" nurse, and were learning her in these games*
*immediately follows with a comment on how they could still 4k with old nurse semi-regularly*
So, were you trying to make a point on how the nerf was not required? Because that's not how you do that, friend...
-
Dislike, ruins the totem roulette build since the unlit ones wouldn't give you warnings with thrill of the hunt
-
Give us "the samurai" bHVR, and I'll forgive you for everything spirits have done to me
-
"Iron will and spine chill are sooo good against spirit"
Except if she runs stridor, of course. Then she gets the effect of her perk, and you get to play with three instead of four.
I do like spine chill, it's one of my go-to's =D
-
I still think Billy is messed up. He needs to have real addons made for him, instead of his generic nonsense right now. Instasaw makes me sad.
Personally I think only bubba should even hard-down people with his chainsaw, Billy should splatter them with:
-Hindered
-Mangled
-Hemmorhaged
and
-Broken
But he should also be able to chainsaw gens to damage them too, for like an extra 5% regression or something. I just want him to be interesting and different from bubba
-
Sorry Groot, but if you aren't coming to get me, I'm coming to get you *Sinister Laugh*
-
Nurse is still the best. Don't know how so many people can blame "those crying survivor mains" for a nerf to what has been the strongest killer in the game since her release. If nurse is unplayable with a 3-second cool down between double-blinks, it's not the killer that has the problem.
-
People in here saying DbD isn't, and nor should it follow, Fortnite in regards to any business model. Why not, when a F2P game without a dozen DLC packs can be openly generous with their player base?
I've never bought Auric cells, and I never planned to until this pass. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me, who are kinda poor and refuse to pay like $10 for a darn skin. And yet, this pass is putting money in bHVR's hands, coming from US cheap bastards.
Why not have it be 1500, what's the harm? I'm not going to buy cells for random cosmetics anyway, so it's not like they're losing money on a large portion of their audience. It's just an easy source of positive vibes they can send to, and receive back from, their playerbase.
Also, put iridescent shards on the free track, please. There being multi-level gaps is not a good look

Someone did the math and survivors only gain .5 meters more than before iirc. Oh no, so dead, draw a Legion face on her sack head.
I laughed really hard at "her sack head" for some reason, +1 my dude

The strongest killer had a 3 second pause added between blinks. Oh no, she's worse than old freddy now, everyone!
-
Needs more genius slowing perks. Add pop and you'll nearly be there lol

@Volfawott said:
It's pretty much the exact same as somebody vault spamming.
Sometimes I run thrill of the hunt just for blood points but if you want to waste your time messing with it instead of doing gens that's on you
The huntress perk that also gives 50% more hunting points is better for that, since survivors won't spend all match fighting to take away your bonus BP lol
-
@Mochan said:
It is way too OP, surely you can see that? It's like having a free Ebony Mori every match.
The blindness perk is also ridiculous to be honest.
Uhhh, you do know the "dying" state is just knocked down, right? Not getting mori'd or anything, it's effectively giving the killer t3 Myers if 150 seconds without a gen popping go by. That's actually weak, since it requires you to already have pressure for you to then receive the reward
-
If I'm on first hook (and not having a staring contest with bubba), you can bet I'm struggling the whole way down if they don't want to come save me. Why would I help someone that has no intention of helping me? That's not a team play, that's getting used by randoms
-
Can't punish the dc's because 1 in 3 are people being booted from the match rather than leaving, which is a whole other issue

Another salty person. What exactly does it matter to you on which platform a person plays? On any platform, there are people who are rude and do not behave beautifully. There are many such people on the PC and on consoles.
Oh, I'm not salty over console. Hell, I don't even own DBD on a console. I just see the worst of the harassment come from there. That, along with all the different issues like framerates, even more bugs than the PC version, and of course the actual psychopaths holding the controllers, make it clear that people need to jump ship and get on Steam if they want the actual DbD experience
-
A daily that requires a specific teachable perk, or for you to bring an item to do it. Not to mention that it offers your team basically nothing for your time spent, or how there are a lot of killers who will hard tunnel + camp you for breaking their hooks. Still, I'm always excited when I get a daily I can do as a survivor. No 10-min queue times to get into a single lobby as killer =S
-
People need to abandon console. It's not only way worse, you get what are clearly deranged people like this harassing you after lobbies are closed. That's a big fukkin' yikes from the PC crowd
-
If you kick a gen with overcharge, it should regress faster. The skill check only bullies weaker or less experienced players, it's no issue for people when you're in the rank 6 and better range. Maybe have the passive regression jump to 1% per second?
-
Now, on the topic of buffs:
On the Survivor side we have slippery meat, no one left behind, the two "if you're injured" perks, small game, deja vu, and hope. And those are just the neutrals 0.0
-Slippery meat and small game should be one perk. It's painful how bad and narrow they are alone. If you can't, at least make small game show auras of nearby relevant articles, there's no need for the timer.
-No one left behind is a disaster. Combine it with hope, make a perk that really shines in the endgame. If you can't, remove the timer on hope. The collapse is an effective timer, we don't need an internal one anymore.
-Resilience and this is not happening need the same treatment. These general perks are not only weak, they're offensively bad. If that's not an option, remove the need to be injured.
-Deja vû has a duration. Who thought "this is too powerful, I need to limit it somehow." Why are they allowed to make decisions?! Have it scale with gens remaining for levels instead scaling how long they're revealed for (i. e. it reveals auras when you have 3/4/5 gens remaining before the gates are powered)
-
Buffs are more important than nerfs. Not saying that prayer beads/yakuyoke amulet shouldn't be looked at, but even deleting them wouldn't change a thing in regards to clown, bubba, legion, etc...
If some killers are, by default, significantly weaker than their counterparts, then the obvious solution is to send help, not assassins lol
-
Pray spacetime warps in the correct way for them to phase clean through your torso like everyone else
-
One could be something like
Unwilling Ally
You are healed by other survivors at 50% the normal rate. You are not affected by any perks or abilities that trigger upon interacting with other survivors (make your choice, plague disease, nurse's calling).
"Ugh, if I must"
-
A fair chunk of people mention bringing perks to counter spirit, or for stealth gameplay. Problem is, as much as I always try to make it work, survivor stealth is unfortunately bad. There are way too many different ways for stealth builds to be hard-countered, and that sucks. Hell, a large number of survivors see BBQ alone as enough of a reason to abandon stealth.
-
Sorry guys, I don't know why this was put into the polls section =S
But yeah, the story has a happy ending. Everyone else lived, and the David stayed back to taunt the killer and died.
-
I don't plan on leveling up spirit or nurse, so it's been helpful getting their perks. Oh, and before I picked up freddy last sale, I already had 2 of his 3 perks, so if I do level him it'd just be to actually play him. I also grabbed all three perks for feng through the shrine (but it robbed me of 2k shards and didn't give me lithe back in July =S). I've bought maybe 15-20 perks through it, it was a big help early and even now
-
I spawned in direct line of sight with a doctor, inside his static field nonsense. It was a disaster lol
-

Ok then I'm gonna be the first.
The main objective of this game is to have fun.
Holy #########, man. Too many people responded to this before ANYONE even thought to say this. Good on ya, bubba portrait guy
-
WGLF, We'll make it, Prove Thyself, Better Together.
Cashing in on the synergies:
WGLF & PT: more raw blood points for co-op actions, and a multiplier to the final totals is great.
WGLF & WMI: get stacks and big altruism points from safe unhooks + heals.
PT & BT: get other people to come to your gen, which gets it done faster and, if they're there the whole time, racks up 5k objective per gen baby
BT & WGLF: since you're a glowing beacon to other survivors, injured people will likely come over for heals, which you'll do stupid fast
-
Recording gameplay to check back later really shows you how much downtime you have, and how long you spend not progressing the match. Gotta work on making sure you apply pressure, and if people are juking you, get closer to them before you swing. If you can hit them with a tap of the attack button/key/click instead of going for a lunge, there's no room for error
-
Yakuyoke amulet does too much, should have a 2-3% MS drop. It's like a Japanese carburetor tuning guide, except it modifies a way scarier power.
Seriously, the only killers with an addon that diverse and powerful don't have ultra-rare ones as a trade-off, spirit's options are too powerful and varied.
I like being able to see blood in phasing, but it should trade out scratch marks for it. Any cooldown addons should increase activation time, and vice versa. The spirit is a great, spoopy killer, but her addons are half overpowered nonsense and half gimmicky bs that completely throws off how you're trying to counterplay her.
-
Make some left-handed survivors (no effective gameplay difference, they just talk about it in their bio lol)

Yikes, console. They'd be as angry if you did totems, calling it a waste of time that compromises the team's escape, I bet

For trapper addons a bag is mandatory. Doesn't matter if it's brown or purple, bring a bag. I really like his green & purple trap-setting tool as well, having a yellow/purple bag with it makes him feel like a decent killer <3
For huntress and clown, you need those exhaustion addons to blank dead hard and balanced landing. For clown the two extra bottles is also a huge QoL upgrade, would pair it any day. For huntress I like the reloading gloves, that and even the brown exhaustion addon are a great combo.
For Myers I like the glass that shows you auras for 5 seconds of people you stalked in tier 2. That with the yellow faster stalking addon that works on all the survivors is deece, would recommend.
For wraith I like having ghost and the boneclapper. I want everyone looking over their shoulder, and for my target to not know who's getting rushed down.
My main point across these is that BP economy in regards to your addons is also a form of power. Having the addons you want every game is powerful in and of itself, so the good brown & yellow ones have their own strengths
-
He's complaining that if a killer finds the hatch before it's open, then he can go ahead and just kill the second-last survivor with time to spare making it back to stomp the hatch the second it opens.
Looks like he wants the hatch to only spawn once there's 1 person left?
I disagree with all this, btw.
-
Game still heavily favors going after the unhooked guy, so DS is mandatory. If people cry about it, that's because they're used to getting easy downs and just deleting a survivor with their "aggressive hook patrolling" lol
I honestly hate that it needs to exist, but it got so bad the past few days I got the last 5 levels on Laurie and unlocked it so I can have a chance when instadown huntress decides to sit on my face at the hook
