VC is a good idea on paper but in reality I feel this community might be a smidge toxic for it, I wouldnt be opposed to it since I dont particularly care what names people try to call me but one time a meg threaten to find my family and do certain things that are best not repeated before the game even started, like I joined the lobby thats it, I feel there would be a ton of toxicity in VC but as long as theyd be able to keep that under control it would be a nice addition. Granted it does come with the issue of people who just dont want to use their mics for whatever reason (not blaming the people Im one of them.) and being at a disadvantage, some non-VC options and a VC together would be the ideal world.

Yeah Sloppy's just one of those perks that's bad on like 3 killers (The chainsaw boys and blight), it's serviceable on all and really good on most killers but it's hard to know it's impact sometimes
On Dredge it's pretty good because their mobility makes splitting pressure insanely easy. You can get an injure and if the person runs somewhere strong like idk let's say a jungle gym - you can just opt to TP elsewhere and let them waste time healing. (Assuming they aren't carrying a medkit lmao, medkits OP)
I tend not to struggle with keeping injures unless theres medkits/COH in play but maybe I just havent played them enough.

Not only would they be throwing the round doing this, but this is assuming the killer is a pure M1 killer without any abilities, and that they can't ever manage to get around the survivor trying to tank a hit.
50% flat progress would make the perk usable at all, outside of coordinating SWFs it's just too situational to be meta-viable even then. For SWFs, I would just finally want loadout restrictions such that they can't stack and abuse perks like this or a plethora of other perks, which would also free up designing space to make better perks to begin with without the worry about having them be stacked and abused in a coordinated way.
i mean if 1 person is still free to work gens and at any time any group of 3 can assemble into an unstopable choo-choo I wouldnt call it throwing. And yes about 15 killers can counter it in someway but that leaves 14 still ######### unless some of them have specific addons. Also I feel like the whole getting around the train would be fairly difficult since you know they can just turn maybe BL 3 but also map dependant as some maps it can be impossible to get through certain areas without hitting someone bodyblocking and well map offerings is still a thing. As long as the full health person is blocking the killer it isnt imperitive to have the other 2 in a direct line. This is all in hypotheticals but 1 perk unlocking the ability to turn into a bodyblock chain against almost half the killers is not a healthy perk. Sure at 34%-49% it is throwing the game that wouldnt make it any less frustrating to play against.
This is a bit "when the stars align just right" but at the same it doesnt seem unreasonable if you and 3 buddys bring a few midwich offerings and reactive healing.
Perk needs a buff as it but imo it should give 50% guaranteed but then just deactivate until you leave the range + maybe a healing speed bonus for you being healed or by healing yourself once you leave the terror radius.

Granted it would need coordination in a SWF
Barely, I am pretty sure I have been part of a group of solo survivors doing that body block train after a rescue during the end game multiple times. I know for sure that I am solo queue survivor at all times at least, no way to tell if others are in a group or not.
Its barely able to be called coordination but it would still need 3 people running it and being aware of others running it which isnt always possible in Solo Q

Pain res wouldn't be a bad choice since you're already using 2 perks that go well with it (Floods being another scourge hook perk and Agi).
You could commit to the meme and use Lethal but also the microphone and worry stone addons since lethal will also enhance them with 2 extra seconds
Also you can never go wrong with Sloppy Butcher, would be a decent pick
I was considering going full scourge hooks + agi as a different build
Honestly that sounds like a really fun build to do once I get the addons stockpile large enough to regularly use it
I find sloppy to just be a bit boring, like its a good perk but its rewards are a lot less tangible than others, same goes for the likes of thana or dying light, there a lot less situations were I feel "damn I got that down because of sloppy" or that I won a game off a sick sloppy play even though theres a good chance I have won games because they couldnt quite make the heal in time but I just didnt know it was that close to being finished. Its a good perk but personally it feels a bit boring to use unless Im playing a killer that really badly needs to keep injures coughcough Twins cough.
-
Whichever ones are in dredges head. God damn its a pain to try hear things in nightfall.
-
Pretty much just going for a survivor that was just unhooked. I think if youre presented with the choice between a survivor with 0 or 1 hooks and one on death hook its just dumb to go for the 0/1 hook one since you get a much larger bonus for the other one. Like unless I decide to play nice since its 3 or 4 gens and I have plenty of hooks to win already I will always go for the more hooked surv when given a choice.

Did this fix not work?
Also I wouldnt call the devs attempting to fix a bug not acknowledging it.

Somehow worse than kills/escapes.
-
It would probably just look really janky since she moves at 333% speed and even higher with addons.

@PaintedDeath said:
I dont understand why it only does % of missing health, instead of % of health total. If you are healing someone with Reactive Healing, and killer shows up and hits healer, that would be a great way to top off the heal. But it won't ever "finish" a heal as it is now.
If it was % of health total with its curret numbers you could create an infinite bodyblocking train with only 3 people .
Surv 1 takes the 1st hit and uses no colision to get to the front of the train
Surv 2 takes the 2nd hit and uses no colision to get to the front of the train and now surv 1 is at 50% healed
Surv 3 takes the 3rd hit and uses no colision to get to the front of the train surv 1 is now healed and surv 2 is at 50%
Surv 1 takes a 4th hit and uses no colision to get to the front of the train surv 2 is now healed and 3 is at 50%
And you can see where it goes from there. Granted it would need coordination in a SWF but still even if it is pretty much locked to just SWFs it would be a definite possibility since it doesnt even need the RNG, skill or timing needed from something like locker saves just basic assigning of role and 3 people rocking the same perk.
It would need pretty big numbers nerf to avoid it as anytihng equal to or greater than 34% still can create the train it just needs 1 more person
I would like to see it changed like that and maybe be 25-30%? I would say 33% but that would make them literally 99ed so they can tap a self care and still likely keep chaining althought probably a bit harder.

Yes, but it’s an interval of eight like most other terror radii are. (or is it radiuses? I will figure this out later) I’d like them to experiment with something between 32 and 40 for Wesker.
8 is a clean number to do them in and you might aswell stick to some semblence of consistency with how you assign a killers terror radius. Also is there really any need for him to have a 36 his 40 seems fine and personally I like it being used for synergy like clouro overwhelming and unnerving. He would barely change with a 36m terror radius so I think its fine as is.
-
@DoritoHead said:
He has mobility AND is capable of slowing survivors down. I think 32 meters is too little due to M&A’s existence, but I agree that 40 meters may be too large. I wish that BHVR would he willing to make weird terror radius values for killers, like 34 or 36 meters. I think that’d fit Wesker quite well.
40 is a weird terror radius

Big influx of new player doing what makes sense and is easiest for them.

Twins could have a cool like half and half cereal so probably them

Meg is just immortal, you cant get rid of her that easily.

Have you lost a lot of games recently, or artificially deflated your MMR in some way?
Did someone dodge the lobby?
Two of these people look basically new, and shouldn't be facing a stacked Nurse.
Aside from me just rarely playing nurse no. My most recent nurse games were 3k + hatch or 4k as far as I can remember . I never throw games unless you count running ######### builds that are funny. Like there is no reason for me to get mm this abysmal especially not with an incentive. By all means Im happy for the extra 20k BP but still matchmaking is well and truly #########.

I completely agree that it's just not an interesting way to play the game. It's effectively face camping with more steps. I don't understand why anyone would want to bypass the most fun part of the game just to get a survivor out of the match.
I wouldnt say its simalar to face camping, its much more tunneling.

Eh RPD of Pain still exists so Ill pass.

Honestly even if she doesnt get buffs in the patch I wouldnt mind that getting removed. Its such boring design for the killer and if it was removed people cant say "Oh JuSt UsE tHe OtZ cOnDeMnEd StRaT" or try to claim she is good because of it.

But then Kinship does the same thing (plus 4 seconds extra) and you dont even have to approach that much. So you can continue repairing even faster.
In solo Q, Reassurance is just useless.
In solo Q kinship is more useless.

What control do you have over Reassurance? if you'r eon the hook you have no control. And if you're the one going to unhook, you will have to go all the way to the hook, kiss the survivor on the cheek to activate it, and then go back to your generator. Congratulations, you achieved absolutely nothing. Might as well keep repairing.
Well if the killer is still camping while you may have done nothing for 30 seconds you gave the other 2 survivors an extra 30 seconds on gens.
-
Kinship requires your team knowing about it and activating it making it a helluva lot less useful if youre solo Qing with crossplay. I could see an arguement for queing cross off and saying in every lobby you have it but then youd get rougher matches, longer queues and it wouldnt even work if they didnt pay attention to chat. Reassurance is better in Solo Q imo.
-
It might be 5 seconds after breaking chase maybe? Been a while since I did it I honeslty dont remember but the wording there seems funky enough that it could be something dumb like that.
-
Surge: Just not having to kick gens is so much more fun and it makes 2 floor indoor maps more bearable.
STBFL: SOme of the animaitons just get so wonky its hilarious, nemesis and trickster are 2 of the best ones.
Brutal: I hate predropped pallets so breaking them fast is always fun.
I used to love Crowd Control purely because it s one of the very very few perks synergises with victor.
-
Plague Twins
Legion Twins
Myers Nurse
Ghostface Nurse
Legion Oni
Plague Oni
Trapper Pig
Hag Pig
Sadako Sadako
-
Well yes and no. A SWF just has to run 1 of each aura perk and then can call out from there VS solos not know what other aura perks are being brought and a bunch of overlaps and them being unable to give the information to other survivors who might find it useful.

What issue would create i wouldnt mind any religious killer.
Maybe doesnt need to be as christian reference
I could see a religious killer of a major modern religion being problematic. Personally I dont care but I feel doing something like that would just open up way too many problems for BHVR to condiser doing. Whether it be people against said religion disliking it being in the game, people of that religion disliking the portrayal especially if its a killer or anything in between it just sounds like way too much possiblilty for issues than its worth. I would say they are safe as long as they leave it at ancient religions and fictional cults but I doubt they are going to get any closer to real religions.

Story: An inquisitor torturer that encounter the entity and believe it as god.
This sounds like just a slightly different plague lol.
-
It counts chases, injures and other things. And Im pretty sure that 3 and 1 hooks give the same emblem score.
-
Imo I would really pick blood lodge. It isnt super unbalanced but it can definitely be a struggle for low mobility killers due to a large gen spread and depending on RNG W + Predrop can be hell.

@scenekiller said:
Along with Spirit and Trickster, I would also totally be here for Artist as a survivor, or possibly even Blight.
As for survivor -> killer, Meg already has a lot experience killing survivors anyway so she's my top pick.
Trickster shouldnt be a survivor. Most killers and even the survivors who did bad things mostly were just pushed to those circumstances when they eventually snapped. Trickster is just a monster. He tourtures his victims and kills them not for survival, not because he doesnt know its wrong, not out of self defence but just because he enjoys it. Lots of killers have like turning points of when they became killers Trickster just enjoys it. He would definitely be my least favourite killer to see as a survivor unless they somehow entirely reworked his personality and backstory.

@SgtMittens said:
Some of these comments...a smart move? Good counter? The killer is holding the game hostage because they'll fill their diaper if LE GASP, one person escapes!
Reality doesn't come naturally to a few of you.
Holding the game hostage? Whats stopping him from doing the 2 gens and leaving?
-
Depends on who plays them and just time. People used to love playing against blight now everyone hates them even though the only changes were really QOL probably because he is just more fun to play so he is more common and because everyone thinks blights are sweatlords. So if Wesker starts to be played a bunch and then people who play to win start playing him well then it could easily become a repeat of blight where over the course of a few months he goes from loved to hated.
-
Dead hard should as the name implies make the survivor dead and the game harder for the survivors.
-
RPD needs to be torn down brick by brick. The rest of it sounds cool though.

**NOT MY ORIGINAL IDEA***
A while back, another forum member and I were discussing dream chapter ideas. The forum member brought up a fantastic idea.
It's about a twist of fate.
What if BHVR had chapters where certain Killers had become Survivors instead of Killers?
Hold your horses. I'm not saying Spirit is removed from the game. I'm saying that Rin is added to the game as a Survivor. Here's how it would work. In an alternate reality, at the moment Rin was dying, the Entity took her and made her into a Survivor--dooming her to repeat her trauma. How's that for a new level of horror! The Entity is such a malevolent being that it wants Survivors to re-live their darkest moments and literally face off against their darkest selves. It's a very nuanced and mature lore, to be honest. Rin facing Spirit is a literal manifestation of the "sliding doors" theory/the butterfly effect. The idea that our entire lives could've gone differently if only we had made one different decision.
Personally, I would love to see Spirit as a Survivor. I've always felt bad for her and thought her lore was among the best. Her cosmetics would be incredible, too, and simply seeing Rin and Spirit in the same game would be so cool. On that note, I think having a similar cosmetic for both Rin and Spirit that incorporates a butterfly would be a nice homage to the "butterfly" effect idea.
**This idea is also applicable for other characters, but I'd love for it to start with Spirit and Rin.**
*** If that forum member still uses the forums and sees this, I hope you comment/make your own post about it. You might have come up with some more concrete ideas by now and I'd love for you to share them. ***
Personally it should be Blight because I thought in his lore he did start out as a survivor and was one of the closest to escaping the entity before becoming a killer. I might be entirelly misremembering it though xD
