Dora The Explorer crossover when?
If survivors could have a bright purple singing backpack with a face it would be the new scariest thing in DBD

What do you mean "about to get a massive amount of bad press for it"? People had been asking for colorblind mode for years before it finally happened. This game is just an unpolished mess, and this was especially true in the past, meaning it was hard to justify prioritizing QoL changes for a while. My recollection is that the devs were also worried colorblind mode would be abused by non-colorblind players to gain an advantage. That isn't a reason not to add it, but it is a reason why it might take more work to implement and therefore be even harder to prioritize over other additions to the game.
The devs obviously want their game to be accessible. It affects the fun people have playing their game and therefore directly affects their bottom line. If you're cynical you're say they only care about the money. If you're a realist you'll say that money was probably a big factor, but they probably also wanted to add this so more people could enjoy their game. It just so happens that many other people only enjoy the game when it doesn't have game breaking bugs or performance issues, or when a new DLC comes out, or when balance changes come out that interest them. If they had dropped everything to put out a colorblind mode you'd just have people complaining about the stuff they held off on in order to get that done. They can't win.
There was a massive shitstorm brewing after Almo said "stop blabbering on about colorblind mode" and a bunch of people were super angry. a short while afrter that colorblind was announced and they literally said they didnt want to announce it this early. TLDR: Almo said something that twitter took as ablist so they had to drop colorblind asap as damage control.

Curse of being mid rank.
only pain exists here. its a vicious cycle. Every reset I get stuck in yellow becuase of ######### teammates then get a few lucky games to get to green where I no longer get white rank teammates then I start to climb and I almost get purple then reset and it repeats.

Not really, I've actually having okay teammates at like half the games which is triple the amount I had before. God I h8 SoloQ
yeha maybe its just cause I am a lower rank on survivor but holy #########. I had a game on haddonfield that we lost cause this one meg just 1 ######### meg missed 12 skillchecks. She could have lost way more but she missed 12 while either healing me or on a gen with me. I checked their profile afterwards. 0.2 hours in DBD. I know most of my 950 hours are in killer but really for ######### sake. It was the first ######### game after resetting too so I went all the way from 2 pips to rank 8 to rank ######### 14 it one game.

I was gonna do Scooby doo since its the one I would want to see the most but I went with the most realistic choices. IT- super easy to make a power considering all the things it could do, Tokya Ghoul- power would be so easy to make, FNAF- I think we will get this at some point soo might aswell put it down.

Lol "Large Russian Woman". I like Huntress, both as a killer and survivor. She's a solid build (no pun intended).
I don't know some of your other references but I myself hate facing Wraith, Hag, and Spirit. They're often played by people who are either really good, which makes those characters frustratingly challenging, or really cheap, which makes those characters frustratingly annoying.
Plus Trickster, because ######### him.

This needs to be suggested...lemme keep my items that I plundered.
When Appraisal was first in the PTB I totally didn't go around and get all the items from the chests and set up shop in the killer shack - I even did it on the "round the campfire stream" :)
I love you so much. I normally bring a map with glass bead make a shop then chuck a marker there. I have also gotten spared so many times by showsing the killer my stash of items.

That would be an awsome perk idea. you can carry multiple items.

Yeah I am wondering in a 4 man you could have 1 person run plunderers appraisal and bump you're items from 4 to 10. Thats a second item for each player and a 3rd for 2 of them.

Gen times are fine for the most part its the lack of mobility most killers have and the default regression being the worst thing known to man that are the issue.

Thats no auras of boxes but you see the aura of survivors searching right. I still think waterlogged is much worse than that tbh.
-
Chases is really just parctice makes perfect but I am kinda bad at survivor so I cant give much advice. As killer one of the best ways to win is just prioritise a 3gen you are almost guaranteed to lose 2 gens in the early game if survivors get good spawns and dont spawn all together. Focus on making you're chases as short as possible and try chasing multiple people at once if you can. Also my number 1 tip for new killers is just dont kick gents 90% of the time. Base regression is pretty bad and it literally takes the survivor milliseconds to stop it whne its like a 2 second animation for killer or something. You should only kick gens when you are 100% sure nobody is nearby.
-
TBH if you are forced to run meta build to stand a chance in games then you should just depip until you can run any perks and still have fun games. I was at rank 1 for a while and even though I did change my build up a decent build I oculdnt have fun running scratched mirror or backpack builds anymore so I just depipped until I could use those build and still enjoy the game.

Noed, Rancor, Spinechill, Head on.
Noed, rancor and spinechill are not strong just annoying and head on needs it hitbox fixed

Waterlogged shoe. It literally makes you have no power and you arent even 115.

Happens too rarely and gives too little of an advantage to be actually woth worrying about. Also if it's not a double locker tech, it's counterable by just going after the fl guy.
It does happen rarely but I would say it gives a huge advantage in a coordinated team and I mean whne the 4 survivors are all trying to do this. You bascially cannot get a down at all if they run to certain parts of the map.

Well think of it like this , you can easily notice if that's they type of locker they hop in because of the wide open side , so leave them in there a second and check the area if you know the team is using that type of strategy to save and you've got two survivors essentially doing nothing and if you pressure the flashlighter you almost force the situations of them having to leave the locker or be dead weight and it creates an opportunity to slug if you can down one fairly quickly
Once again the only time I have sen this in my own games everyone has a flashlight so if you chase one survivor(A) and they hop in the locker while survivor(B) come to try and save if you then go after B A will hop out of the locker and B will hop in rinse repeat. It is basically just that over and over again instead of them actually trying to loop you they just swap between 1 being in locker and 1 being in chase. Also it doesn't really matter if 2 survivors arent on gens since you more or less have 0 pressure at the time. This isnt a major issue since it is so rare just isnt something that really belongs in DBD imo. Then again 4 mans have so many broken things so ehhh.

As the poster above said, in that situation you ignore the clickys and go for the others.
If it is a 4 man squad all going for locker saves, then yeah, that isn't particularly fair. I wouldn't imagine you would come across that very often.
You dont but yeah I guess regardless of what the 4 man squad is doing its generally unfair lol.

Yeah, tbf the only real use for those kind of saves is as content for twitch/YouTube.
Anytime a survivor isn't cranking out a gen is bonus time for the killer.
I mean if its nullfying chases while 2 people sit on gets is not really bonus time for the killer

Yeah I've seen plenty of clips showcasing how easy it is to pull off.
I have nearly 2k hrs in the game now, and I've never seen people go out of their way to coordinate locker saves. I've hit a few myself, but never went into a lobby looking to bully a killer with it.
My best advice is to ignore both of those survivors and go find the two dedicated gen jockeys. The locker duo will likely shadow you looking for flashy plays, so you can expect that very little progress will be made on objective if you don't commit to chase against the players that clearly want your attention.
Like I have only seen a squad like this once but there is not dedicated locker jocky from what I have seen of it. 4 flashys and 4 prove theyselves so they can always either gen jockey or do locker saves and they stick in 2s so there is always someone to flashy save. Once again its not a major issue but like that just doesnt seem like it fits in DBD. That game I did not get a single hook until their flashlights started to run out and with purple and double battery or like battery and amp that is a loooong time and a lot of flashy saves.

Was that on Sweh's stream by any chance?
I think it might of been cru5h and like I love his content normally and like no hate to him he seems like a nice dude but recently I have noticed like 3 times a game him and his duo will do it. I honeslty just think an unabvoidable flashlight save is not worth reacting to and I would rather just see more loops lol.
-
@BSVben said:
It's 1 of only 3 situations where you can realistically get a blind. And is only really useful to coordinated SWF's.
I don't really have an issues with it being in the game tbh.
As the other poster said, injure the other survivor to push them away.
Me neither I don't have much of an issue with it and they are super rare but I just think they are just something that doesn't belong in DBD.
-
@KayTwoAyy said:
Lightborn, Franklin's or Starstruck
TBH it is not that big of an issue and hardly ever happens I have just seen some survivor streamers bragging about pulling them off when the killer has no option but ignore the person in the locker.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Dealing with the flashlight holder by pressuring them away?
Yep thats the general strat but from my personal experience it is generally a duo or more and if you chase one they hop into the locker and when you chase the other one the first one hops out and the other one hops in. I dont think its that critical of an issue just it can be pretty annoying to go against. I couldnt care less about it but recently I have seen some survivor streamers acting like they were amazing because they ogt an unavoidable blind.
-
I play both sides and still complain about the other side 😎
