Bubba adapt would call for only the three Bubba parks and he's red rank because he said earlier he got three iridescent and a gold the only way that doesn't give you a double pip is being red rank
i've never been a red ranked killer before so i have no idea on that aspect. so my questions were valid, as he did not specify his load out for it, i've known people that had over 1.5K hours in go for any adept and wondered why they didn't get it.... turned out they had FOUR perks on! their defense: "I thought it only required the perks but more could be added" I wondered how they got the other adepts on their account at that point lol.

I know... Every game I got all iridescent except chaser emblem which is gold... And I have no idea how to get iridescent in that category.. I already used speed limiter, but still gold
all i can say if you are getting 15 of 16 possible emblem points you are missing one specific ingreediant.... let me ask you this, what is your normal perk loadout when you attempt the adept also what rank are you?
-
you have to double pip. depends on your rank really, get what is called a merciless killer rating, so you need to make generally 2-3 iridecent emblems and the rest gold. depends on your rank and what it takes. also only equip his specific perks no 4th and the double pip

While I understand that it is for the new matchmaking system, it is a very bad change. Now that Killers are locked, you can't switch to a Killer that will help you face certain survivors. An example of this is that all survivors could have medkits and Plague would be a good option to switch to but due to locking, you are stuck with whatever Killer you chose.
Also, Survivors can easily swap to another survivor that has a fully kitted item and perks at the last second of lobby meanwhile Killers are now stuck and can't do anything at all. Not to mention that there is an exploit that allows you to see who the Killer is which screws them over even more.
I understand that BHVR wants to measure Killer stats individually but I don't think that locking them in the lobby was a good change at all. This will cause much more lobby dodging and unnecessary problems for Killers.
honestly i think once you click ready no matter what side you're on you can't change anything and instead of an intermediaray lobby it goes right into the match once 4 survivors are paired with one killer. why not?

Hi, I was playing killer and had to do the archive : "Down a survivor within 60 seconds of downing another survivor". I wanted to do it fast so I played clown with the 1-shot addon so I can do it with ease and go on with my killer life. I downed and hooked everyone until they all died, the faster the better.
After the match a survivor said to me "nice tryhard, get listed, like that you will get tunnel and mori. Have fun"
So here's my question : what are thoses list, where can you even find them ? and why do they exist ? Is one game where you were playing a bit toxic (refering to the red addon) is enough for you to be judge like that ?
[I am reposting this from "Ask the community" because there is way more activity here]
there is a site that people can go to and list people they didn't like how they played. it is intended to let people know if you're a camper, tunneler or what not... basically it's a site set up for people to shout out how crappy they think you are lol. pay it no attention.
-
MMR has been running in the background. period. only reason your mmr is low to a killer is because you just started playing that killer, or against that killer at all. and @Almo said it's been in the background just not the "decisive" thing for match making.
SWF should match off their highest MMR not their lowest.

No. No it does not take time to be accustomed to both not trying to self-unhook recklessly and pushing the same one button until someone takes you off a hook. You are exaggerating hardcore.
just stop trying to be arrogant about things, i doubt highly you are remembering truthfully but remembering what you want/need to support your argument, nothing can be done to change my view of this don't even try. As much as it's been a great laugh your attempt to be the best at this game is over the top. i'm done with you. go and see the sky, breathe fresh air, stop playing and you will be better off. I'm out you have made it unfun, so can we ban someone here that has made it unfun to chat in the boards? lol

so in his first 7 games he has to be an EXPERT?
No. Since when is "mash a button" considered being an expert?
knowing that it happens, knowing when it will need to be done, how fast or slow to do it, and what is going on so that you don't get surprised in the game. it takes TIME to get accustomed to the game. you are a fanatic, it will never happen since if you penalize people from doing things the GAME tells you that you can do or decide not to do it. No feature of the game even tells you that the leave match is even there. the tutorial doesn't, the game doesn't, the game manual as far as i know doesn't. it is in the rules that leaving the match in any way other than the exit gates/hatch/sacrifice/killed is not allowed. Your rules are laughable, you are laughable and you do not understand that following the prompts and not succeeding at the prompts is not punishable by penalties! ONLY one game punishes you for KNOWNG the rules and that is paranoia. well your paranoid mind in thinking that everyone is out to make your games the worst around. now I can tell others how idiotic your ideas are.

Sounds like the person who did it 5 games in a row should be penalized to me.
Hey, Killers can't leave a game without DCing, so there's already precedent in the game. May as well extend that to Survivors for consistency.
You're giving me scenarios that make no sense, so y'know, pot calling kettle black and all.
so in his first 7 games he has to be an EXPERT? get out of here. you took longer than that I'd wager. you just invalidated your points and your credibility. Honestly expecting a new player to know as much as you and be making the right decisions AS YOU SEE THEM? you know what, from now on, I am giving survivors that I am with, when not in SWF (I know they will come for me), till i get done with my third struggle, if they haven't gotten off their gens and started towards me i'm out bye bye! and this is because you think it's cute to say new players should know what seasoned players do within their first 7 matches.
-
@TAG New players ain't gonna one-hook themselves one in every three games (to use the previous number I gave as an example). I'm not worried that new players would do that so often that I'd think they should be punished.
THAT is sooo funny... when i've seen it happen 5 games in a row! that ended up being 5 our of 7 games before they called it quits... that's more than your 33%. still if you throw out a high number and the actual number is much less than than, won't that be the same problem as the old disconnect system of we'll notice it and people said the threshhold was set too high? great idea.. leave the game development to the professionals.
@TAG you want to punish people and force them to play a game they don't want so they'll just dc, it's quicker and easier and end up moving on to a new game... yea great way to kill the player base and kill the game.
I am done with you, I wish I could ignore you but I don't have that luxury, you have no idea about what you talk about and you throw out numbers that make no sense!

I am de-crying it because it can actively ruin a match similar to how a DC can ruin a match and can basically be used as an alternative to DCIng.
I support punishing excessive early game hook suicides. Simple as that
I have proven to you that there are problems
You haven't demonstrated a realistic scenario that would prompt someone to constantly attempt self-unhooking and then immediately die in the struggle phase within the first few minutes of the game. The idea that a cat and a baby are going to always try to start a fire in the house the moment you enter the struggle phase due to excessive failed attempts at self-unhooks isn't a realistic one.
you are even ignoring that question of mine
Sorry, I've been replying to multiple people in this thread. Which question are you referring to?
please tell me what is too often
~33% of games ending in intentionally forcing a one-hook within the first few minutes of the game seems like too much to me. It means you are ruining approximately one in every three games.
please tell me you know how many new players will understand that they HAVE to struggle or they will get temp banned for not doing it
New players will quickly that they have to struggle or they will die, which is good enough. BHVR recently added visual changes to the self-unhooking process to highlight the fact that it is a very risky idea and not something that should be done lightly.
i know 10 new players that just started two weeks ago, and they still even after I told them it's not the best to struggle when they have friends or teamers that are going to get them, still try to get off and then forget to struggle because they are distracted by something else.
I am unconvinced that they do it with such frequency that they should be punished for it.
first of all i asked if you've even taken care of children, and you replied to the post ignoring the question so no i do not accept your reasoning "I am replying to so many here" you actively IGNORED it.
I have experienced <10% of my games having first hook intentional deaths, I have been watching Mclean's stream today and he has had NONE, I have not seen any in his previous streams, my friends that stream don't have a great many first hook deaths like you described. please tell me you have an official source that says 33% of all games have this happen, because I'm pretty damn sure that it does not exist. you personall may see that, but that is just random luck.
"New players will quickly that they have to struggle or they will die, which is good enough. BHVR recently added visual changes to the self-unhooking process to highlight the fact that it is a very risky idea and not something that should be done lightly."
I am laughing, you are telling new players GET GUD fast or your will get temp bans without a worry because we don't want you to TRY to get off the hook because the option is there. YES they changed it, but it was not because people were doing it to die on first hook but to make it obvious what you are doing sure, but not to tell people DONT DO IT! more like DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! this does not mean it is intended to do anything more than tell the player something bad can happen.
you may be unconvinced they would do it frequently enough. I'm not convinced this is such the big issue you think it is. get off your high horse and play the game hook deaths or no! you are inconsequential but I love being able to shut your arguments down so others can see how minor and petty they are.

Enough for you to consistently get one-hooked by means of repeatedly attempting to self-unhook and then let yourself die on hook the moment you entered the struggle phase?
i'm sorry, if this was done out of match functionality then i'd be all for it to be penalized. but you're asking for them to "check the frequency of someone doing something that is within the parameters of in match functionality and penalize them for doing it. this is not something anyone wants. if you want this go directly to behavior and suggest it, don't put it on the general boards. putting it here may get it noticed but it's whining because you don't like it. hell it's whining to keep talking about how bad disconnects are. penalizing something that is withing the limits of the game is like telling lebrohn james he can't dribble down the court faster than 1 mph every time. (yes i am being sarcastic but this is what you want, the rules of the game allow for this, does not mean you should be penalized for it, even if you do it often... hell Lebrohn james will always be moving down the court faster than 1mph!)
ALSO when dc penalties came in the first time, it was de-cried that there are a rash of deaths on first hook. BEHAVIOR has even come out and replied to this directly saying that while there was a small uptick in deaths on first hook there was not something that would make it concerning for the health of the game. this was stated several times and you are one of the people they told this too, and you didn't believe it then, now you are back de-crying this once again. STOP, just STOP.... I have answered each and everyone of your questions, I have proven to you that there are problems, and because you do not know much about children you are even ignoring that question of mine.... you want to believe you know the ins and outs of things. you think you have the answer, but you do not. please tell me what is too often. please tell me you know how many new players will understand that they HAVE to struggle or they will get temp banned for not doing it. sounds like a great idea....... i know 10 new players that just started two weeks ago, and they still even after I told them it's not the best to struggle when they have friends or teamers that are going to get them, still try to get off and then forget to struggle because they are distracted by something else.
You are not getting anywhere and even if you get 10 people to agree here on the forums they are but 10 of 60000 active players and do not come even close to one tenth of a percent of the players. of those 10 new players, they have each been on their own as well and asked me why are all these people disconnecting from the match? I tell them because they are selfish people, and well they don't care about anything but their own fun and will dc if you don't recover, if you die on hook, if the killer shakes their head, etc. and these new players said wow, I was thinking it was me! I'll stop playing! I told them no don't it's not them. and here you want to cause new players even more confusion? heck it's bad enough that TRU got hacked again and he's a lifetime player yet these newbies don't know the game like you or I do!

If you know that you have an urgent matter to tend do, why are you staying at the game to force yourself to die on hook ASAP instead of just walking away to tend to the matter and then return to see if you can still resume the game?
Or are you suggesting that "multiple games in a row, I will repeatedly try to self-unhook after being down in the first minute, and then the moment I enter phase 2, some urgent matter will require my attention and force me to leave and die" qualifies as a realistic scenario?
look, you are so intent on trying to prove a point you have made a mockery of this whole thing. have you ever had children? have you ever watched children? you NEVER know when you will have to do something to stop them. Why can I not try to get off of hook each time I get hooked? it puts me in phase two and then I have to deal with something? I gave examples. if i'm in stage two and i stop struggling it is not something I am required to tell you about, I may be tired and decide i'm done, maybe i have to go do something and then I come back. At least they are using IN MATCH functionality to do this instead of anything else. stop your whining about this and deal with it on your end. don't like it happening? easy fix, get 3 friends you play with and if they die on first hook tell them you won't play with them again for what ever reason. you put a penalty in for dying on first hook, you best also put a penalty in game about throwing pallets for no reason, how about failing skill checks? lol you want to penalize in match functionality, this is actually you just trying to force your individual viewpoint on to everyone that plays. GET a life.

So help them while you are in hook phase 1 instead of trying to force yourself to die on hook before you tend to more important matters. It doesn't make sense otherwise.
so you will dictate that I can't try to get off the hook? they will make sure to require my attention during the first stage of hook? lol great thinking you must know all the player's futures! NO. it is an option in the game, if people wish to try it and not struggle that's their CHOICE... they are using in match functionality and can not be punished for it without a declaration that it's an exploit like oh hey you have hatch? I'll dc for ya now. click.... hatch opens, match ends.

Give me a realistic scenario where that would happen frequently enough in a short span of time that you would get punished for it.

I mentioned it above: If you are hooked within a certain amount of time and then die in one hook while having been on the hook for less than a certain amount of time, the system makes a note of that. If you are caught doing that too frequently in too short amount of time, you get punished for it.
so i can't try to get off the hook? and then get distracted and not struggle in time? lol thanks for punishing me for crap that is a mistake.

If you implement a system that keeps track and punishes accordingly, you can.
so how can you tell an automated system to differentiate from wanting to get off the hook, not realizing you have to struggle, or intentionally not struggling... you can not do it thus you can not have an automated system monitor hook deaths and punish accordingly.
DCs: how can you tell an automated system to know when you lost connection to the server via the isp or something else in between vs someone pulling their ethernet cable or using their pc to disconnect? you can't it's impossible, you have to watch the packets and server information before and after the even to see the change and it's not the same each time. can't be done without human interaction.

The problem with this assessment and conclusion that all survivors who die on first hook do not take into account the mechanic built-in to attempt to escape. It also doesn't take into account people who legitimately die on first hook, spending absolute minutes repeatedly pressing a single button.
That mechanic exists to allow survivors their own chance to escape the hook. 4% Roll the dice. Play your cards right. Use certain perks and those chances increase dramatically, one of them even lets you successfully get off the hook every time.
Saying that people shouldn't use those mechanics, even if it's a detriment to their team, is basically punishing someone for playing the game.
Sure sure, you can simply wave this argument away by saying something like, "But the devs can build a system that recognizes these things, then there's no problem! Problem solved!" That kind of system takes a lot more time than you think it does. It also can't take into account every nuanced reason why someone did or did not attempt to escape off the hook. And punishing players who want to roll the dice and get off the hook themselves because they realize that either their teammates are too busy to care, or you're being facecamped and just don't want to be in this game anymore, or any number of reasons that aren't "I hate this map/killer I'm gonna throw myself at the hook and die," is just spitting at people fairly using game mechanics.
You might as well remove the mechanic if you're going to punish people for using the mechanic "too much."
might as well make it one hook, no struggle, can't get off yourself at all, can't do any emotes or anything. let's do that one hook, you get saved, next hook you're dead. so instead of 3 hooks it's 2.

@Freki I agree that the self-unhook is a game mechanic available for everyone at any time, I haven't told once people should get punished for using it. But from your incoherent mess of a text I can confidently say you didn't get the point I was trying to make so let me break it down once again.
The person who hook-kills himself in the beginning of the game RUINS THE EXPERIENCE for the rest of survivors making it much harder for them to win. This care-free behavior at the moment is punished only by a measly depip which no one cares about because frankly ranking as a survivor is EXTREMELY easy to do.
If you honestly think every 2nd or 3rd game to play as trio vs a killer is something natural and expected - you should stop. This is a 4v1 asymmetrical game, a missing survivor is devastating for the rest of the survivors. If you read my previous posts (highly doubt you will), you would see how this problem can be solved.
Also, no need for human intervention to "monitor" this behavior as there are plenty of algorithms used by many game developers (guess it was common sense, clearly not).
lol i have seeing hook kills and the other 3 gotten out. AND NOT because the killer went easy on them. it's called rely on yourself not everyone else. I've gotten out as solo because I relied on myself and not others, sure it was out the hatch in a few cases but not always.

This was said by the devs a good while back, if memory serves correctly.
i never heard the devs say anything more than "don't use the ticket system to report dc's" (which I stopped using but i kept reporting unsportsmanlike conduct rage quit). but it was never used, the information never touched, and that's worse than having a system that's hackable or punishing people for dc's that they have no control over.
-
@TAG said:

The problem was that the threshold to punish someone was WAY too high, so it ended up not being enough of a disincentive to not DC. That's why it got switched to the current DC Penalty system.
Manually reporting DCs was bad because it would waste the time of people who read those unnecessary reports rather than reports that actually did warrant someone looking at them.
you know this for a fact? or are you guessing because i've told you that people disconnected without worry of punishment with this "system" ? please share where you have found the information of the "thresholds". also it does not waste the time of someone, if can call attention to someone that dc's a great deal of time and they could then take action, but it was not being done so no one got banned etc. ALSO the dc penalty system has a lasting information with the dedicated server where as before there was no data to show why a dc happened because of the fact that the match was connected between the players. sure information ends up transmitted to the behavior server but it was not the information that was needed.

Yes there was. It's why the devs kept saying "Don't report disconnects" since there was a system that automatically kept track of that.
the system did keep track sure but it required people to monitor it and that never happened. I saw someone disconnect 10 times in ONE stream that was less than 5 hours long. this is why I report all dcs when there is no automated penalties. It never got used, monitored and people got upset about it, there was no action EVER taken from that.

So I use blood hex and no one escapes death, and something I like to do is when all or most of the survivors are in the exit gate, I'll stand right outside
Once they step close to me I'm able to one shot them and bring them to a hook, closing the exit gates, then going back and killing whoever is left taunting at the exit gate
I like to use pig, so I can crouch in the exit gate, then ambush once they arrive. I'm just wondering if this would be considered a "cheap move" like hook camping
there is a second exit they can go to while you guard that one, it is not easy even with noed to guard both exits. might truly work on solo's only but in the swf you end up with one and the rest sneak out the gate

You know how before they implemented the DC penalty system, the old system simply kept track of how often one DC'd, and if they DC'd too frequently in a given span of time, they might get punished?
Something like that would be good. If a player dies on a hook very early in such a way that it's very likely that they deliberately killed themselves on hook as a way of ragequitting, keep note of that. If it happens too frequently in a given span of time, give 'em a temp ban.
there was no system like that, it required the staff to 24/7 monitor people's accounts and there is not enough people to do that on behavior's staff. do you want your game breaking bugs fixed at all?
-
@Retromind said:
It's obvious people have really poor reading skills in this thread. I am talking about harsher punishment, not a hostage situation. You're free to fail at unhooking yourself, but if you do that you need to get punished much harder which hopefully will make you think twice before doing that.
fine, we will also punish you when you get a gen done, and a totem. Want the pallets punished when they are used and you don't like it? if it is in match functionality it should not be punished unless there was an exploit that the devs have found that people are using (try to get off and person yoinks you and you end up in perma sprint mode (exploit). You are being silly and sure people do this, if you want to punish this make it so that people can't get off the hooks by themselves AT ALL... Make it so there is NO way to do it perk or otherwise. You need to understand that you are calling for people to be punished for playing the game, not for using out of match functionality. There is a difference. one requires you to leave the match functionality behind and click a button (disconnect) which has been abused.
Also people who argue about DC penalties only want to DC without punishment yet their DC punishes the people in game equally. the first hook killing self argument falls flat when you look at it in the realm of what functionality they are using. stop being silly and wanting to punish people for using game mechanics as intended.
-
I am sorry something messed up, please make sure to submit a ticket with the information they will need to find out what happened. this is where I will agree having it affect all is bad, BUT with the abuse of the functionality the need for an automated system that can not tell the difference between something that is not right (like this or an isp drop) or an intentional removal of cable from the client (player) network cable or equivalent. I have to understand and accept it if it happens to me.
-
Here is the thing, sure let's just block all communication between the players and have no chat. so this is now a solo game online where you have to make your own friends like a game before you can team up with people. This is non-sensical! I have met a great many good people and made great friends over the last 2+ years! so you want to make it simple? then you make it boring for people.
This is about the mentality of the people that love using these type of slurs and other wordings and you can not know who will purchase this game, and if a parent allows their child to play it who this is. Because of the unknown, it is GREAT there is a way to close the chat, but it will not always be taken for different reasons. This is why it is great that they talk about taking action when it is reported. I am not looking to CONTROL chat of any kind but If you can not go up to your mother, father, or other family, your boss (in the work place) and use these selfsame slurs and "suggestions" it should not be tolerated here.
for example: you walk up to your boss while at work, and infront of everyone call him a racial slur, you will be on a fast track out of that job. It should not be tolerated here.

Please read in full translate in your language. Notice: I am 100% sure that all of us who are old players in this dead by Daylight game will agree with me because they know how things were before, new players if they are going to criticize, inform yourself first. Dead by Daylight in times of 2017 was a great game, it was perfect both in killer and in survivor compared to how it is now. They are going to take away the essence of the game. Look at the doctor, the nurse, the ruin and a lot of perks that have ######### over time (DESICIVE STRIKE) as well as mechanics. What I want with this is that all the players of this game reconsider and support me as the developers continue the game is going to end up dying what they have done lately has been a disaster I was dissatisfied with this game since the nerf of Desicive strike in 2019 was not something necessary before criticizing me in this part I have my argument please read before criticizing we all deserve to be heard Desicive strike perk teachable by Laurie strode at level 40 since it came out it has been a very criticized and requested perk by nerf..ok I understand At this point, this will frustrate several killers, because if the team had all 4 players wearing this perk, it would take a long time to understand that point, but was it necessary to render it unusable? Let's think please they are telling me that to occupy it, the killer has to hang up first after I get off the hook, I have 60 seconds of use, which is literally unusable, I heal and almost all the timing has expired, it is true that sometimes it saves you but how rare it is what happens almost never besides now it is so easy to counteract after picking up the killer will go for you and leave you on the ground wait 60 seconds and hang again before having done this destruction that they made this perk so much that they complained about the stun would have reduced it at least but from the beginning it is active or if they wanted it not to start active they could do that ######### mechanic of hanging you first and then they would unload you this active without time so it would be balanced and it would always be used not as they did now this would be all my opinion about the game currently that if they continue as they are now they will die slowly and believe me they will regret later .. Thanks for reading and I hope I come to you and take into account my request
you forgot that the reason the DS stun of 3 seconds was changed to 5 was because enduring was reducing the stun to less than 1 second, and not only did they move it to 5 seconds, they ALSO removed enduring from affecting the stun BEFORE they moved it to 5 seconds and forgot to reapply enduring and haven't fixed it. sorry you feel this way but DS rank 3 is too long of a time frame and allows for someone to get out just because of the 5 seconds and before you say slug away, i just did, they crawled on top of hatch and their SWF team mate left when they were on there forcing me to pick them up and let ds happen when the hatch opened and they got out instantly.
here you go: first hook, killer runs off and comes back to hook and player is already on a gen, not healed or anything, but stays on the gen, or jumps into a locker forcing the ds. my changes to this are: change time frame to 30/38/45 seconds, ds deactivates (saving timer position) when on a totem, gen or in a locker. Deactivates completely once 100% healed. this will cause them not to be able to force a ds. this actually can "prolonge" how long you have ds but it won't let you get on a gen and be pickup proof because of that for 1 minute.

That's if the killer lets you... I've had games where the farming killer was EXTREMELY obnoxious with the way they were farming. It's completely in the killer's power to drag out a farming match, depending on how your teammates react to it. You can be the only one tight about it and doing gens, and the killer will decide to torture you for not playing along. If you don't like farming, that's probably more preferable- but even then, that depends on what your teammates are doing. Sometimes they just run around spamming crouch and enjoying the farming instead of actually getting objectives done so that you can exit the match quicker.
REGARDLESS, I 100% support a DC penalty. It sucks when you have to endure a game that you aren't enjoying, but that's how it goes sometimes. People who DC make the game worse for everyone else, more often than not.
if the killer doesn't let you do gens this is "forcing you to farm" and is reportable. step out in the settings while in match and prep the ticket for when the match ends and report him. also if that's the case start recording it and send it to the devs. otherwise do gens or crawl away and bleed out if you're left on the ground, then report the killer. it's not that hard and if they're farming they won't get as many points as they wanted because you did gens as well as what they were doing. simple and effective ways to do things, get the report in and move on with the new points you got.

I have been disconnected from the Host several times this week. I'm already on the 15-minute ban. Probably by the end of the month I’ll get the 24 hour ban.
So no, I don't think it's a good mechanic, since they don't know how to differentiate rage quit with computer or internet problems
you can thank all those that abused the leave match functionality for your time outs, it's not good no, but it is why it's here. If they had not abused the mechanic then there would have been no cause for this and all would have been good.

What systems? You cant report until after the game so you’re still stuck between letting idiots waste 10 minutes of your life or disconnecting and getting a 5 minute time out. Either way they win and get what they want.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that these reports are worthless. We have no way to prove otherwise.
you can use the ticket system without completing a game with them lol... but i guess you didn't want that tidbit to be around.

For 3 days, it's done nothing.
If they don't rage quit, they're killing themselves on hook. I don't like it, as a killer.
As survivor, I don't care, I don't "rage quit."
people are still learning that it's back in play... give it a bit more and people will have the reality sink in.

But you make it sound like ultimatums are a bad thing. The ability to stand your ground is pretty important in life.
stand your ground where you are right. i've experienced one of his issues only when i m1 down a survivor (other than auras as the devs are working on that if not done). nothing else. tells me that there is more going on than dead by daylight. lol.

How is what was said in the beginning an "ultimatum?"
An ultimatum would be "Fix this or I'll slash your tires."
What he said above is "I have had enough of all the buggy crap constantly plaguing me and I'm done with this game until it gets fixed."
One is a threat the other is just being fed up.
wow... your statement about not playing till it gets fixed is an ultimatum. ultimatiums i will do or will not do something till something gets done or stopped. that's an ultimatum. wow. don't even realize what you tried to couch with lots of words boils down to "I will not play till your fix this." 8 words.

Lol what bullying? You cannot point out one instance where I have bullied anyone not where I have outright condoned bullying. Feel free to believe otherwise. I'll sleep like a baby regardless
you are advocating doing NOTHING! this is the same as bullying because you are ALLOWING the behavior to go on. You are ENABLING the bullying and people CAN be placed in the same categories as others when they do wrong because they stood by and let it happen. I am sad that you can't see this and till you understand it you will continue to be a bully, perhaps not in actions but in inaction. I am done with trying to reason with you. I still hope you will never feel the loss of someone dear because someone at the wrong time pushed them over the brink. GOOD BYE.

Way to go overboard chief. You just don't get it. What one person finds offensive might mean nothing to someone else. You want everyone to walk on eggshells around people just to make sure their feelings are not hurt.
Where did I say someone was not worthy to play a game? My point was nobody is killing themselves purely because they got their feelings hurt over a video game; they clearly had deeper issues before hand.
I find it funny how the person upset over harassment is the one attacking people's moral character. But it's ok, I know it's just words.
As others have said, the mute button is always an option. It's so easy to play the game with zero communication with the other players. If you chose to view the chat, you chose to risk being offended. If you make the latter choice, I have no sympathy if your feelings are hurt
Very well. you continue being the bully, you continue being the one that allows conduct this way and you will forever be the bully. Closing chat is not the answer. some people like to be nice to others and they are not always the strongest people around and you will one day find out what it is like when those you bully end up fighting back. I hope no one close to you ends up hospitalized or worse because someone was just as callus as you are advocating should be allowed and accepted. I hope you do not have to attend funerals because of what someone caused to happen. go and be your self there and keep it up I will watch for your behavior and continue reporting it even if I am not the one it is put towards.

The riots are mostly people being childish rogues and have nothing to do with words. It's babies throwing fits cause they didn't get their way or just simply acting out knowing there are no consequences.
well about the battery part i said MAYBE for that, still Assault is not something to sneeze at. I am not contradicting myself what so ever. Being offended about something is one thing but when that thing is bordering on racism, sexism, and the extremes something must be done to curtail it.
and your comment about people that are in a fragile state of mind, sure you are right they have more pressing concerns, but you know what? do you know the state of mind that I am in at this minute? do I know the state of mind you are in this minute? no you do not, and people that are depressed, or worse, will still play video games to try and feel better so it is possible you played with someone that is suicidal or wanting to harm themselves and the only thing they know to stop that is to play a game now someone jumps down their throat with that attack and well that's the snap and they go do it. how would you feel if you said that and they actually DID what you told them to do? You are just as callous as people who use these terms. you are part of the problem, you should want to be part of the solution. If all you want to do is use these terms then how can you even think yourself a good person.
how can you tell someone else they are not worthy to play a video game just because their mental health is bad? see you are the one that has the problem people want to include people, you wish to exclude people. GREAT WORK.

That's not what I'm saying at all, I'm saying that you are not in any physical harm what so ever. And you are choosing to let some salty brat get under your skin, instead of shrugging it off. Reporting them, ending the chat and then going about your day. Instead you are dwelling on it, and letting it control your emotions. People insult me too after the end game, I either troll them back, or I simply block and report them and move on with my life. I don't have time for some nobody who just lost a game, who is throwing a salty tantrum to have any weight on me what so ever who I can't even see, and is probably some 12 year old. Now someone in my face, insulting me, and meaning me harm is a completely different story. While you shouldn't have to deal with either, one has an easy answer to it, just a click and poof! On the other hand, in person could lead to a physical confrontation.
Also...why do the people in the DBD end game chat even know you are not a Christian, and not straight? Doesn't seem like details that would pop up normally. Not that it's really any of my business.
first of all, why are they calling people various things without knowing ? I don't know because they are people that think it's cool to talk like that, and they need to LEARN that it needs to stop. trash talk is fine, but when you get into personal or advocating self harm or anything like that then it has left trash talk and become harassment and even could be considered assault and or battery. you said that you weren't saying that well by saying it should not be dealt with in a prompt and expiditious manner you are saying it should be let go and forgotten till things have gotten to someone that is not in the best of spaces mentally and ends up doing something to themselves because of someone telling them to. Talk like that is like saying hey we have an arterial bleeder and we can go fix the hang nail because it'll be a fast and easy fix, they won't bleed out before we're done.
if someone says you suck, or eat my ***.... or something like that, that's fine it's trash talk and can be ignored. but any report of harassment should be taken seriously. even in Everquest, WoW, and many other games it is taken seriously when it is reported and dealt with. if they are 12 years old, or 40 it doesn't matter. They need to know it's not accepted. IF they can no longer play without purchasing the game again (through a new steam account) maybe that'll help since they lost ALL the money they sunk into the other account or they won't be back because they don't want to spend the money again. that is the point for this, not to make it the wrong thing to do or something that does nothing.

To be fair I only mention med-kits, so... yeah.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1497308#Comment_1497308
I dont mine flashlights, I know my way to avoid them.
But what's the point in going stabby stabby when they'll just heal themselves (not by how it use to by another survivor) and protect themselves with other perks, I wont mention since everyone on this forum already does (which I dont care for I dont tunnel I move on) I just don't see how med-kits are needed. The time between medkit and self-care isn't that much difference... 🤷♂️
Med-kits in chests or better yet, brought are a gamble of sorts. A permanent perk is already readily available
they were being silly about the flashlights, but it is true selfcare is at 50% healing speed of healing another survivor. (that is before any bonuses via perks) Med kits give you the ability to have selfcare without the perk and at medkit speed which is faster than healing another without it. this is why there are med kits. and the same goes for toolboxes.
Some people don't like running the perk selfcare and there are people that despise it.

Some people like a bit more polish from their investment.
For instance, for the past five to six months I've been dealing with micro stutters from the server resyncing and teleporting Survivors away from my attacks.
At first I thought it was just my computer but it would seem the bug has gotten bad enough that it's affecting machines far more powerful than mine. For reference, see Puppers' new Wraith cosmetic video.
I'm sorry you've had that issue, I've not had any micro stutters except after I down a survivor. but though it may rob me of a kill or two and get me mad, i wouldn't throw ultimatums around like that. but you do you.

Is it playing the "Death sound"? (The "Doing!" noise)
If it plays the sound it was 100% an intentional DC because it only plays if they manually hit Leave Match.
If there's no sound it may have been a connection error, crash, or they pulled the cord.
recently they stopped the noise for all dc's so you can't say it was unintentional or intentional because of that. Penalties are IN EFFECT right now and was announced in the game news, you can see it if you click that in the main menu and scroll down just a tiny bit.

Just to make one thing clear, we already have zero tolerance for extreme insults (e.g. racism, homophobic slurs, telling people to kill themselves, etc.). These people do not get warnings, they are banned without any hesitation. We have always acted on these sorts of reports. The issue is more so that there is no feedback on the reporter's side when action is taken: You don't get a message in-game letting you know that someone you've reported was banned.
Odds are if you've reported someone for that sort of thing, they were most likely banned shortly after.
I know you can't tell people that there was a ban because you can't talk about what happens to other accounts, but it would be nice to get a non automated response from you stating that ACTION has been taken but not what. please understand that that feedback would help people believe their reports are taken seriously.

WOW REALLY? you condone people being told to commit suicide? you condone the words that have lead to the riots and protests all over the world? you condone people being told they are bad because they are not christian, not straight? this is a priority and you're dismissal is crappy at best and apathetic as well but you are an enabler.

After over two years and a lot of money later this update made me just smh. At this point I just want to know when the game will be playable. FPS problem with aura change that was intentional just poorly implemented and the response is to say look outfits and we are looking into missing blood points. I can even be bothered to play because of the state it is in and it just seem with some chooses y'all have made you could care less if I want to play only care I stay and give you more money. You have to take the good with the bad I'm just going to stay away.
Playable now.... been playing for 2+ years and have not found a reason it's not playable.. I think your entitlement is a bit skewed there.

But it’s always changing, so the more recent games people are playing “should,” get them into the right brackets
I honestly do not trust the new MMR system because i know nothing of how it works, and that it will ALWAYS put me against killers that i've proven good against and not against killers that give me a random assortment of the game. if i start facing only 2 or 3 killers over several matches of several days I will call the system broken and report it as such. I want to face up against all types of killers and not just the powerful 2 or 3. I want to have fun, I also want to enjoy playing with friends that may be better skill or lesser skill than me.
