If a set doesn't include another piece in it, than that's the entire set.
That's why the Bile Beldam outfit set is missing the head piece, it doesn't have one and only comes with those two pieces...
For future outfits, this might be the same case. If you suddenly get the outfit on a Killer that's missing a piece, than that means there isn't another piece that comes with that outfit.
In this case, the Bile Beldam Outfit is that outfit.

I asked in Pre-Chat this simple question.
"Can you guys do me a favor? Can you only do the generators up until 99% and than let me finish them?"
They agreed, and in the first game I did the challenge it was finished. The goal isn't to 100% them yourself, you just have to finish the generators. So just by simply topping off each 99% Generator in-game, it counts 1 completion towards your challenge.
It isn't like the other generator/healing challenges that require you to 100% do them yourself in one trial, that would be impossible if that was the case...
All you have to do is find a capable team that's will to only 99% the generators and let you finish them... and that's it. You only need 4 out of the 5, so if one is finished by accident than that's ok. It also counts if you have someone else on the generator when it's finished, it just requires you to also participate OR be the one that finishes it.
As long as you're there to finish it, than it doesn't matter if 3 people are on it at the same time...
My advice?
Do what I did, just find a team that's willing to do this and than top of each 99% completed generator... and that's it. It doesn't matter if you live or die in-game afterwards, as long as you topped off/finished 4 generators than you're fine!
Your team can finish 1 generator by themselves if they really need to... so if they do than that's ok! You only need 4 generators to top off in-game.

To finish the entire Rift pass would require you to play about everyday up until it ends AND do every challenge in the tome.
This is because not all of the Rift Fragments that make up the Rift pass is rewarded in the tome challenges themselves, it's also made up of a lot of grinding through regular game-play in-game. Each 800XP gained in a match rewards the player with 1 Rift Fragment each time...
How many Rift Fragments are given after each level and is completed and finished?
Well, here's the total amount of Rift Fragments for each Tome lvl (I had to count each challenge rewards to find this out...)
Level 1: 93 Rift Fragments
Level 2: 84 Rift Fragments
Level 3: 90 Rift Fragments
Level 4: 68 Rift Fragments
Total: 335 Rift Fragments
This means that's only 33 out of 70 Tiers completed WITH 5 Rift Fragments left over for Tier 34. Every 800 EXP gained in-game rewards 1 Rift Fragment for The Rift, so you'd need about... 365 more Rift Fragments to get to Tier 70 on The Rift.
Is this possible to do while doing the challenges and gaining EXP on top of getting Rift Fragments in The Rift AND afterwards when all the challenges is done? In 18 days left?
No, it isn't i'm afraid. You'd have to spend hours of your time for 18 days to get about right where Tier 70 is. If you did that is it possible? It's hard to say, each game is different, and not every match rewards 800 EXP on the spot for 1 Rift Fragment.
So if you did spend like, 4+ Hours in-game a day for 18 days than you might reach Tier 70? But obviously that's unrealistic... unless you have the time.
Final verdict
It's not possible no, you'd have to spend unrealistic amounts of time in-game while doing the challenges simultaneously... while also only having 18 days to do it.
Sorry, but no you won't be able to do it in my opinion. You can get a decent ways into the Tiers, but not to 70 no.

There's a Xbox community sale at the moment, so i'm sure PC and PS4 will get one soon after.
-
With all that in-mind above, use the map "Mount Ormond." This maps basement can spawn right in the middle of the map, which won't require you to camp it at all (If you don't want to) and allows you to play normally while also getting the chance to down any unhookers that go for that basement.
Use LeatherFace, Trapper, or even Myers works also... Any Killer that can down Survivors quickly and or effectively works for this situation. While LeatherFace and Trapper are the best for basement defense, you can also branch out to Oni, Spirit, Myers, Billy, and even Freddy.
Freddy can lock down the main area of ormond with Dream Snares, Billy, Myers, and Oni have insta-down abilities, and Spirit can effectively down multiple Survivors (If you're skilled enough.)
So your options are not just limited to LeatherFace and Trapper, but they would be the best pick WITH the map Ormond... mainly because that middle basement spawn in Ormond makes this challenge a cake walk.

People argue that the closed beta and or alpha tests for DBD was the "Early Access" version. This is probably what he's referring to in the argument.
I suppose you could say the closed beta tests were "Early Access" but was there really a wide spread Early Access version? No, after the closed beta and alpha versions, the game was fully released soon after on June 14th, 2016.

I made a really long reply to a similar topic that I can't be bothered to find and nobody cared anyway, so I'll give you the summary: make it a sort of reverse Devour Hope, where you get a token for every totem left. In EGC, mori at 5 tokens, exposed at 3, and 1/2/3 percent movement speed per token.
Movement speed per token wouldn't be that much if it's 1 or two, bug 5 paired with NOED and PWYF... that's be too OP in my opinion, despite it being a hex perk.
Turning Devour Hope into Thrill of the Hunt would just defeat the purpose of what Devour Hope is... it's a perk that requires you to earn the benefits and rewards you for keeping the totem up WHILE also maintaining a steady set of downs and hooks.

The problem is, rank isn't a personal thing like character levels. Its primary purpose is not to be a rewards system, but to be a reflection of the player's skill level so that they can be matched with others of a similar skill level for games. Giving players the ability to reset to rank 20 and be matched against low-ranked players again once they reach rank 1 would defeat the purpose of the whole system and be highly abusable by good players.
Exactly, imagine Red Ranks going down to rank 20s, people would riot for days...

@FireHazard @Fibijean I realize That Nea is supposed to be tomboyish kinda tough and it relates to her story but most of her Hairstyles do not look natural . The pink one is a wig , the Green one looks odd , the only one I like is the blonde one .
And the Rest are all ruined from one side .
But it doesn't stop there Kate got a buzz hairstyle , Meg got 1 .
I know different people have different styles but my goodness I hope they'd lessen those buzz haircuts .
But nobody from the Designer team read this so we are probably gonna get more of them . 🤢🤢🤮🤮
Hairstyles have changed over the years, you see these types of hairstyles quite often these days in real life actually.
It really isn't that big of a deal. It's not like they won't introduce more hairstyles that're not buzzcuts... it really isn't that big of a deal tbh.

It was made that way for a reason, if Killers could just hide Devour Hope until they actually need it, than they could get to 5 stacks on Billy without anyone knowing and just randomly mori a Survivor.
Or they could continue to down Survivors with a chainsaw or other such secondary attack, afterwards they'd use the M1 on a fully healed Survivor to gain a lot of traction after someone is hooked... they easily get to 5 stacks and than start mori'ing Survivors.
It was set this way for a reason, mainly because you only need 2 more hooks after you get 3 to start mori'ing Survivors. You could easily fake out a lot of hits with secondary power hits and than just down them when the time is right, this could easily down an entire team with a full stack of STBFL at one generator with two Survivors.
You'd hook them all after, than you'd have 5 stacks and mori anyone you come across. It would just be way too strong.
tl;dr
It's easy to get another hook after you get 3 stacks of Devour Hope. If it was hidden behind secondary power hits like chainsaws, Feral Frenzy hits, etc, than the Killer could manipulate a scenario where they would get 2 downs in a row and than hook them both to activate Devour Hopes mori ability.
This was mainly done to make it not extremely OP.

I just can't stand when people DC. I want to have a fun game of back and forth...not people just DC'ing right off the bat or later in the game. Accidental ones like your computer crashing or w/e is one thing
Well that's what the new penalty system is for, it'll cut down on DCing quite a bit.
I haven't seen much DCing since it was announced, so...

Do you see where i'm going with this?
There are one or two more variants or other such hair styles Nea has, but the point is she has hairstyles that's not just buzz cut... or whatever you mean. Most of the hairstyles you hate don't really make up most of her head pieces anyways.
Also to add to this, a lot of Survivors do have alternate hairstyles that're in contrast with the whole "buzzcut" look you dislike.
There are options to choose from.

Thanks for the insight. I've only been playing a couple of months. I don't know how to do video recording. Do you have to start recording at the beginning of matches? I play on a console.
You just record when the offense takes place, you don't really need the entire uncut match as proof.
-
This is a bit too ambitious for the current rank system, besides, the ranking system is scheduled for a whole revamp during or after the next Chapter that's scheduled.
Or at least that's what the road maps says.
So we'll see what happens since we don't know what the rank rework has in stored for us, it might even change up how the ranking system works, so things like pips and such will be obsolete. WHO KNOWS! I sure dont...
But we'll see how this goes.

There is no way to currently display a video without getting it directly from a site, I believe it has something to do with the amount of memory the video has... which doesn't work well with the forums.
You'll have to convert the video (depending on the size) in a video format, and than upload it to youtube and grab the link to the unlisted or public video. It's a simple copy and paste from there, press enter to move down the page, and than the video will load in.
Make a separate account for making videos, or just do it on your own youtube account and unlist the videos so nobody can see them.

Here they are, the 2nd smallest and smallest Skill checks!!!
2nd place goes to... spine-chill + Brown toolbox + Unnerving!
1st place goes to *Drum roll* Overcharge + Brown toolbox + Unnerving + Spine-chill!!!
So yes, this is the smallest skill check in the game.
-
I'd have to test that after i'm finished with some other things, but to tie you over for a bit... this is what the skillcheck looks like when you're using "This is Not happening" and facing "Unnerving Presence"
And this is a DS skill check when Unnerving Presence is applied.
This his how it'll work
There are a lot of things that can reduce the skillcheck, Brown toolbox, Spine Chill, Unnerving Presence, etc.
At the moment I can't go into a KYFs and get it for you, but when i'm finished I can look into it. You can debate though that the DS + Unnerving Skillcheck is the smallest, but we'll see when I get back. (I say this because I've seen the smallest skill-check before in-game... I just don't have an image on hand.)

Unfortunately no. Is Thano a Nurse perk? I'm real bad at prestiging killers because I'm a survivor main ;-; I normally run a Piggy with BBQC, Whispers, Dying Light and Corrupt Intervention, but on Plague I run that and Infectious Fright instead of Dying Light. Glitter (my friend who plays on PS4) runs Thanat I think, I'll have to ask them now. I don't mess with many builds ;-;
Yes Thanato is a Nurse perk.
The best Plague build currently is Dying Light, Ruin, Thanatophobia, and BBQ or Pop Goes the Weasel.
Dying Light stacks with Thanatophobia. If Ruin is broken late into the game with a full stack of Dying Light and Thanatophobia debuffs, than it's actually a lot stronger than if Ruin didn't exist at all... mainly because it can't be broken until the game ends AND slows down repair speed a lot.
Survivors can't use the fountains either until all gens are done, mainly to avoid the super vomit and get insta-downed in 2 fast rapid hits.
BBQ is for standard aura, tracking, and BPs gathering... if you don't care much for those, than Pop Goes the Weasel will only strengthen your hold on the gens, it'll let you reduce progress on any generators you kick by 25% and continue regressing them a lot harder than normal kicked generators.
This only works after you hook a Survivor though, it isn't active the entire game. It's still very strong though, and if paired with this build... it can be VERY DIFFICULT to beat.

No this was before they added the new DC penalty system.
It's still cataloged in the old one.
DCing once with a video will not punish the offender... if they DC in massive quantities than BHVRs old system would've caught him and punished him accordingly.
This is why the support team told you that, because it's already handled by the old system (aka cataloged) and if they continued to do so in many matches than they would be punished. Recording them DCing once won't ban them or temp ban them, that's not how it works.

You're missing the point, whether you like him or not isn't what I was referring to... he's just someone that isn't talked about here on the forums for a reason.
Hopefully you understand.

I actually did do a video evidence one and was told "Whilst we appreciate your support for the game and your desire to make the game a more enjoyable experience, we must make you aware that disconnecting does not need to be reported. We use our backend analytics to flag and ban players who are constantly disconnecting/leaving the game" so I'm not really sure if you need to send video evidence of then disconnecting through a ticket or not. Regardless I feel if someone sends video evidence that should be enough to put a ban on them. Even if it's just temporary.
It depends on the offense, DCing is already catalogs by BHVRs DCing system AND their new DC penalty system.
So for things like that it isn't really necessary to follow up with a support ticket. While other reports like game breaking bugs being abused, exploiting, and cheating would help a lot with an in-game report and follow up with the support team.

I'm assuming the "jingle" is only audible to the survivor(s)?
No, it's audible to Killers as well, it seems that only the body produces the noise when you pick them up. (But that's not fully confirmed if it's just the body that does this for Killers).
For Survivors, if you just crouch rapidly or move side to side than you'll hear it when you run.
-
Seems they touched it up to me, the image for the cosmetic not so much...
I believe what's happening is that the hair was changed when the new hair physics were released... a lot of hair was changed by itself after this change, so this is probably a side-effect of that change. Some beards look strange because of the change, and other such things look different.
-
That's a question that's hard to answer, there's no real way to know if that will ever be a thing.
While yes they're considering cross-play, we don't have any clue if keyboard support will be implemented in the future as well, it never was before and keyboards were still a possibility for use on PS4...
So who knows, this could be seen as gaining an advantage over other console players DESPITE cross-play being considered, it would make sense that before this wasn't implemented because of that issue, so it's unknown if it would be ok when cross-play is added... if it is added that is.

yeah, stereotypes have changed a LOT these days...
ever since players started unlocking teachables on their characters, the survivors all lost their individual playstyles and with that their stereotypes.
today everyone has Sprint Burst / Adrenaline on any Survivor, though back then, that was only Megs thing.
just like everyone has Selfcare or Saboteur now...
its a little sad when i think about how it was back then... you knew exactly what playstyle was gonna be played by each survivor, since, if they were a Meg they'd run you around, Claudettes woule be healers, jakes would be camped and dwights... well...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/374/1FN4EMJLULZ2.jpg
they all were unique characters, not just reskins of the exact same survivor...
Right, the identity they had is kind of diluted from how they were back in 2016/Early-2017.
Kind of a sad thing if you think about it.

I had 3 matches in a row with Survivors just escaping through the hatch and giving me a 2k instead of a for sure 4k.
Should they be nerfed though? That's hard to say, if they nerf Keys than I wouldn't really see how it would work afterwards... would there be a cooldown before use during EGC or when 1 generator is left? Or would the cooldown be associated to when the hatch spawns?
It's a tough call, but these items can be indeed troublesome in certain situations.

d... did i just hear "meme"?
basically, these memes originate from the survivors stereotypes from way back in the day.
though, only 2 of the 4 survivors actually managed to get their stereotypes into memes, as "running the killer around" (Meg) and "Sabotaging" (Jake) arent really that uncommon / not character specific at all, so they never acquired this status.
basically, back in the day, Claudette was the medic, though the "blendette" meme originates from her, at the time even harder to see, playmodel - she could literally crouch down whereever she wanted and as long as there was some tall grass, she'd be gone. this is very specific to this one survivor, so no one else was ever able to get this meme status but her.
for Dwight, he never really had a stereotype. he was always this useless dude sitting in a locker, letting the team work while he had leader active. that's the origin of the "dwight loves lockers" meme. and lets be honest, when we pull someone out of a locker, it is at least a 65% chance that its a Dwight. even if you had no Dwight ingame, now you have one.
Megs don't really run the Killer around these days... for some reason.
And Jakes sadly don't sabo the hooks anymore, big sad...

Just the body and legs it seems.
The hat i'm not sure, since I've only seen the body and legs at the moment... which both make sound separately, as for the hat, if put on it doesn't make a sound and in-game I don't believe it does either.

I'd wait on progressing in the PC version until there's more information on cross-progression saves being a thing.
We don't know if the save files will merge or one will take over the other depending on the accounts they're associated with.
Do as you wish of course, but keep that in-mind if you wish to pursue cross-progression... we still don't know about any information with console getting cross-play yet, and that especially means we don't know anything for cross-progression.

It could be a bug like how Iridescent Age was bugged.
No, it's basically how LordRegal said it is above.
It just counts the work you put into it, not the overall finished piece... if that makes sense. Sometimes though, some challenges just require you to finish the heal, so that can be confusing for some players that did that challenge and than get another that requires you to actually gain a full heal yourself or with help.
@Nyaren_Chan challenge requires the full repair, but some other challenges will just ask for the finished product, and not just fully working on it. So, one challenge might just ask you to heal 10 people and count your heals you completed... while others will require the full effort.
It's kind of weird, but it's how it is...

As said above, they do help and can be followed up on through a support ticket with any video of screenshot evidence provided.
You need to place an in-game report to follow it up with a ticket submission to the support team, so keep that in-mind.
If you're interested on what's perma/temp bannable than I will provide a link to that post below, I will also be providing a link to the support team if you need it for any future reports.
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
And here's the link to the game rules that provide the bannable offences: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest
Keep this in-mind as well
Reports do help, they're received and looked into when submitted by a player. If you feel that this requires more help, than you can submit a ticket above with the proper evidence.
Of course this has already been said, but it's just a clarification.
