I don't know what you do for work, but I'm going to assume it has nothing to do with office or studio work. Because entire companies do do exactly that over the Christmas/New Year period.
My entire family is home right now (it's midday on a Friday) because in countries like Canada that care about the wellbeing of their workforce, pretty much every studio or office-based company closes from around December 24th to January 6th.
If you want BHVR to hire robots instead of people to make the game, maybe you can wire them the money to fund that. Not that I'm in support of the idea - robots are about as passionless and uncreative as people are when they don't even get a break from their work over Christmas.
A rested worker is a happy worker!
Or something like that...

I wasn't aiming for a literal interpretation with my idea.
I honestly can't tell the difference through text alone.
Unless you actively say that in advance, than i'll take anything as a literal statement most the time, unless I know that it isn't literal, a joke, etc.
-
@Blueberry said:
Sounds plausible to me!
I want a screech ability that temporarily blinds survivors so you can mess up their looping mid chase.
A Siren lures men and unsuspecting ships to their watery grave...
What you're thinking of is more akin to a Banshee, which is far from luring men... its more like blasting your eardrums to shreds with a high-pitched wail.
Basically, they're two completely different things.

Why is this even a debate? It's obviously just a matter of personal preference, everyone should be able to just play with the controls that feel easiest and most natural for them.
🤷♂️
The issue with this question is that UNLESS you know a fix to it... than it can't really be answered by anyone here. Hence why I suggested he bring it up to the support team, they'll either have a fix or give him an answer/information on the question itself.
Besides that though... there wasn't really anything else to talk about above, so now it's a debate?... idk. I just left my opinion on it and than it sort of just ended there, until now.

Ghostface ability not only takes away his terror radius but removes his red stain which is massive for mind gaming loops also part of his base kit
Again, this isn't the place to talk about this.
And I also agreed that GhostFace was above Legion on the tier list in terms of base-kit and outside of it (depends on the build). But this isn't the post to talk about Legion nor is it the place to discuss off-topic things that don't relate to the question above.

Meh on ghostface? An u think he is mid tier? Lol ghostface is top tier an better than legion sorry to tell you that but its definitely fact watch truetalent play ghostface all I got to say
Any Killer can be Top-Tier with the right players... that isn't a measurement of their actual tier though.
GhostFace is by all means mid-tier for the majority of DBD players, if you're someone that can make him Top-Tier than of course he'll be Top-Tier for that player... if we're talking majority base-kit, he's mid-tier.
Despite having a pocket 0 Terror Radius, he's still a M1 Killer in a chase... if you can loop M1 Killers effectively, than GF will struggle.
I never said Legion was better than GhostFace btw, I said Nurse's is better on Legion for obvious reasons I stated above.
but anyways...
This isn't the place to start a debate on who's better, legion isn't even a part of the OPs question... so it's best to move on from Legion anyways and focus on what the OP is asking.

So you want people.... To not form opinions of things? Is that what this breaks down too?
There are more than 3 good reasons off the top of my head why this chapter doesn't work based on game lore
No, what he means is he doesn't want people to judge each other by what they like... and actively tell them why they hate that concept in a judging way.
You can criticize people and disagree with ideas, just don't be a jerk about it is all. People are entitled to like whatever they want, but when someone attacks another or judges them about what they like... than that's a bit much.
Again, criticism isn't the issue... it's just how people judge and attack others IS the problem.

I agree. I was never really convinced of FNaF having any true horror aspects to it.
To me it seemed quite overhyped and gimmicky.
I think like many things in... (I don't remember when FnaF was a thing, 2016? 2014?)
Anyways, like many things in that time, stuff would be overhyped by popular figures... which would than lead certain concepts to be more popular with an audience that was already fans of certain iconic figures on the internet.
(This entire conversation has me treading on thin ice tbh, so I'll just leave it at that, again, just an opinion).

Springtrap would be great, and since we're on the subject, I want to make a fan made chapter about him.
I was thinking, the killer can be called "The Animatronic" and can be like Legion where you can change the killer's skin to whatever animatronic you prefer! :P
I'm personally turned off by any FnaF related ideas. (This isn't targeting what you said, it's more-so to relate about the main question the OP asked)
Don't let my disinterest dishearten you though, it's just not something i'd be personally interested in... FnaF was more of a fad than a horror story tbh. And over the years its become commercialized and... other things people don't like have happened to it.
I'd prefer not starting fights on what i'm referencing, but people will get the idea of what I mean. The point is, like what you like, but I personally don't like the idea of a FnaF chapter ever being brought to DBD.
Like many (Aka most people on the internet) I was there to see the fad at the start, but I never stuck with it because it made no sense to me. And over time it became more of a commercialized concept than a horror story... it just wasn't something that interested me.
again, just an opinion is all... no hate or anything towards anyone or what they like.

Try that in practice; hit someone with FF ,quickly block a window near a loop and get out of FF; and if the dude goes to another weaker loop then Bamboozle still helped you, right?
it's great and can really help on maps like Iron Works of Mysery.
Bamboozle is also useful when you have to M1 someone ,trust me 🙂
Yes but to waste a perk slot on that is not entirely worth it to me, since FF is more a damaging power than a means to damage and than STILL pursue the same person with...
If you're not damaging everyone on the field before you decide to down someone, than you're only hurting yourself. This is how I can play without Ruin on the Legion, because of how his power works and the perks that aid in it as well.
Bamboozle is good for window loops that're strong, but you won't really use it for like... 60% of the chases anyways? Not until all the pallets are broken and only the strong window loops remain... and if the map has no strong window loops than the perk is not needed at all.
Like I said, if you can use it for how you play than that's good, but for me it isn't useful. At least not when you compare other perks that take priority over it on Legion.

Oh, now I understand what you're saying.
Yes, I don't know why either... but because there are so many perks and icons to add in, it's understandable that one will be accidentally set as the tier ll version.
I can't tell you if that was intentional or not, but the signs point to it being a mistake... since no other icon (from what I saw) also has this change.

Legion doesn't walk around with 0 terror radios to see people with nurses....ghostface does way better on him
Actually, Nurse's is very effective on both of them... but when centered around a healing build... it's very good on Legion.
Using Thanatophobia causes Survivors to believe the penalties are insanely high... but in reality they're quite minor. As such, they heal and reveal their auras to me with Nurse's Calling at tier 3. This is how I can play him at Red Ranks WITHOUT Ruin or Corrupt Intervention... things like these really think outside of the meta.
That and BBQ helps with tracking to continue with the Feral Frenzy chain stabs AND Pop Goes the Weasel removes 25% progress on any generator I kick AFTER I hook a Survivor.

It's great to quickly close windows during a chase and then getting out of frenzy for a M1.
Plus, it's fun to use 😆
I don't see why vaulting with Feral Frenzy + Bamboozle would do anything in a chase.
Bamboozle is only good at like shack, anywhere else is just to cut off loops to bring you to another one. If you find practical use in it though, than more power to you, but I don't see this being useful to me personally.

I think it works better with Ghostface since he is a stealth killer, and he can get one free hit.
And it's not a good perk on Legion,Imo.
No one heals against Legion with Sloppy Butcher ;survivors are gonna rush gens, and it's better to make them waste time healing.
My Legion build begs to differ...
But with Sloppy it doesn't work well no, it works off of base healing with Thanatophobia and Nurse's. Maximum aura tracking and time wasted!
Anyways, it's kind of meh on GhostFace imo, it really does depend on the build you're using and the rank you're in.
-
@Thomasthetrain said:

Sloppy butcher is great on GhostFace.
If you can apply enough pressure, they will be forced to rush gens while injured, and that's an easy down for you :)
I'd replace Devour Hope
Sloppy and Nurse's could work great on GhostFace, but that seems more like a Legion thing tbh.
Either way, Sloppy works on basically every Killer honestly... except Plague.
-
No specific reason at all, that's just what they used for the profile Icon is all.
While searching through the icons, this is the only one that seems to fall under this error. So it sounds more like an error that wasn't changed or caught by anyone until now.
Again though, it doesn't seem like an intentional thing or anything, seems more like a mistake.

Borrowed time was originally a perk that be obtained on every killer like small game, dark senses etc until they changed BT,left behind and unbreakable to be put on a specific character (Bill) if you unlocked BT or the other perks before the change was made you’ll still have the perk and not have it unlocked.
Did you mean every Survivor?

@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Older players grew up with inverted controls. It made sense back in the day because it seemed to match how we move our head movement (move your head back to look up).
This unnatural "normal" is very hard to switch to. It feels like trying to ride a bike cross handed.
Tank controls don't really mix well with actual gameplay mechanics...
Like, imagine playing Killer with a controller, but up is down, left is right, and the camera moves in the opposite directions as well... it could work for some people that condition themselves to play with these controls, but not the majority of players no.
That's why the concept of tank controls is pretty dead... in terms of a standard setting for your controls anyways.

I think what they meant by "ease to play" was that he's ok for low level play, but moderate level play is quite hard with him... since base-kit LeatherFace has very little going for him (except... the fact that he's the best camping Killer due to the chainsaws practicality in tight areas)
Here's the best advice I can give for Leatherface...
LeatherFace is complicated, his base-kit chainsaw is slightly faster than a Survivor... but in terms of comparing it with his actual speed, it's not that good when it comes to catching up to a Survivor.
I'll give you advice on his base-kit, and than touch up on some things that can improve your experience with LeatherFace... making it more, "tolerable."
For one, you need to be right on top of the Survivors when chainsawing, if you chainsaw from a decent or little bit away, you won't make it because of the walking speed LeatherFace goes in base-kit. His chainsaw can also be used to mind-game in a lot of cases, especially in Red Ranks. What you'll wanna do is chainsaw on top of a Survivor at a loop, they'll either drop the pallet prematurely (A lot of Survivors do that...) or they'll bait it out and keep looping.
Either way, you'll destroy the loop or down them. You can also just chainsaw at the pallet when you're a bit behind them, forcing them to panic and either drop it or in some cases play it smart and keep looping.
base-kit chainsawing is slightly faster than the normal pallet smashing speed, so when any pallets are down, use the chainsaw to break them. Also, if you're at a loop that is boxed in to a corner or wall, chainsaw the pallet on the opposite side when chasing the Survivor. This will force them to stay on the "deadzone" side and have a harder time making it to another loop again.
This can give you the chance to chainsaw down them (if nothing is nearby to do so) or you can hit them with the hammer if there is a possibility of them getting to a loop.
First, before we get into builds we need to talk add-ons...
Hands down you'll always want to either use charge add-ons, or the BEST combo is to use the chainsaw sprint speed add-ons WITH the charge add-ons. Add-ons like the standard Knife Scratches + Primer Bulb/Spark Plug is great for a budget add-on match.
But if you want to get more advanced, you'll want to splurge on the Beast Mark + Tuning Guide add-ons... this is by far his best add-on combo, and for good reasons of course.
Now, Knife Scratches + Primer Bulb/Spark Plug is a budget add-on combo, but the combo is still effective regardless. Knife Scratches increases the chainsaw walk speed, making it easier to down Survivors and not require you to be RIGHT on them to do it. And Primer Bulb/Spark Plug is to lessen the negative effect of Knife Scratches WHILE also giving it a charge speed boost with Primer Bulb and canceling out the negative effects of a lesser charge speed with Spark Plug.
If you're looking to use a more "expensive" combo that's 10x more effective though, you'll want to use Beast Marks + Tuning Guide. Beast Marks changes the "Slightly" increased chainsaw walk speed to "Moderately" and BOY does that change show in-game. The best part about this add-on is that the "Slightly decreased charge rate" stays the same on it... meaning it doesn't change it to moderately and cancels out the benefits of Tuning Guide.
Tuning Guide gives a lot of benefits also. Unlike Primer Bulb, not only is the charge speed Moderately increased, but the cool-down of the chainsaw after the "chainsaw walk" is decreased as well, the stun of bumping into things is decreased, and other things as well! This add-on for LeatherFace and Billy is one of their best add-ons to date.
So, if you want a budget combo, use Knife Scratches + Primer Bulb/Spark Plugs... if you want a more high end top ranking combo, use Beast Marks + Tuning Guide... OR, if you feel the penalty's of the decreased charge speed doesn't bother you, than you can make yourself go EVEN FASTER when you combine both Beast Marks + Knife Scratches... but I personally don't recommend it, and Beast Marks + Tuning guide is a lot better.
last, his best build (in my and a lot other other peoples opinion)
This is his most standard build, but it's his "best" as far as LF builds go. This build is comprised of Ruin, BBQ & Chili, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
Ruin slows the game down a bit for Survivors that can't always hit a Hex Skill-check every single time... and to some that can, it still makes it slower to complete the generators since the Great Skill checks don't boost the gen speed with Ruin on!
BBQ & Chili for the 100% bonus BPs during post-game AND for the main reason... the aura reading! Having spacial and map awareness is great for EVERY single killer in the entire game, and for LeatherFace... this can be very useful for some chainsaw downs in-game.
Enduring to decrease the pallet stuns when you're mind-game with the chainsaw OR you miss a chainsaw at the last second and get pallet stunned... but... this is where Spirit Fury comes in.
Lastly, Spirit Fury is comboed with Enduring to make for a VERY USEFUL combination for someone like LeatherFace. With Spirit Fury at Tier lll and Enduring at Tier lll, you can break two pallets and have a "safety net" active when you're stunned on a pallet. Once stunned, The Entity breaks the pallet for you mid-stun... and Enduring takes off most of the stun so you can charge right at them and chainsaw or hit them with the hammer...
The best way to use Spirit Fury is to use it at loops that you know you'll insta-down them after the stun... once stunned, if the Survivor is injured you can take the stun and than just hit them right after! If they're healthy, you can take the stun and than just run right up to them and chainsaw THEM!
This for sure is his best build imo, just because of how useful Enduring is for Killers like Billy and LF... and also it's a good build BECAUSE of how their powers work with their chainsaw... it's a win-win all around.
CONCLUSION (Tl;dr)
If you want to just use base-kit (this means no add-ons BUT with perks) than you'll have to be on top of them when there is nothing around. You can still do it when trees are around, but be prepared to loop around that tree to not hit it and instead down them.
You can also mind-game with it at pallets to force the drops or force them to go where you want them to by walking around the loop to break it on the opposite side of where you DON'T want them to go.
If you want a build or add-ons to help with LeatherFaces issues, than look above for the titles that tell you all about them!
Hope this helps,
see you in the fog...

If a Killer knows they're beat, but doesn't want to DC out of saying... their own moral code for example, than they'll wait it out until the match ends.
Sometimes (believe it or not) some players don't DC ever, at all even. I personally have never voluntarily DCed in my entire time playing this game, and I never will. If i'm losing a match for example, it's too easy to just give up and call it quits... i'll still try in a losing battle regardless if I know i'll only 1k, 2k, or even get 4 man escaped by a good team.
It boils down to stubborness, moral code, or they just refused to try at that point... I personally would not stop playing until it's a "loss" or win... but some players just give up out-right and don't even try.

There were numerous complaints about players being dodged over and over on the Steam forums at the time.
Understandable.
It makes sense to remove it, doesn't add anything, causes more dodging, it makes total sense. If a product or feature doesn't add anything and only brings negatives, than why have it at all?
-

I disagree mainly because the survivor ranks used to visible to killers and was removed due to the same reason of It causing too much dodging.
I think it spossbile once it happened they may have thought about leaving it as a feature and why it was left it in for a time but when the results came back the same as before they patched it out.
Wasn't this back in like 2016-early 2017?
I feel like I've seen visible ranks in old videos and images during that time...

VPNs worsen your connection, not improve it. They put a third party between you and the host, and therefor increase latency.
I don't use them so I wouldn't know, but whatever he does is "at his own risk," so it's up to him if he wants to risk breaking Steams ToS.

Luckily they also have perks to help them. A variety of slowdown perks and detection perks.
That only does so much at Red Ranks against good Survivors, but I see where you're coming from with this.
-
It's not bannable, no. But Steam doesn't promote the use of it, as it's against their ToS (Terms of Service).
So it's a sort of "Use at your own risk" type deal, so do keep that in mind if you decide to do this.

If i understand right if I buy the perk from the Shrine I can only get tier 1? If that is true I bought DS from the Shrine but never level Laurie Strode but all my characters have DS tier 2 and 3. I unlocked Borrowed Time from the Shrine and still have not once found it on any tree. Are certain perks more rare than others and show up in the bloodweb more than others?
Once you buy a perk from the Shrine, you can level it up in your blood-web to get tiers 1 through 3.
That's how it works, but you can also unlock it by leveling Bill up to level 35. Once he's level 35, it'll show up as an unlockable perk in his blood-web, and once purchased it's unlocked for all your Survivors.
In the case of how console used to work, it would unlock it for everyone AGAIN. Anyone Survivors that already have the perk can't max it out to tier 3 until it's unlocked for every Survivor again... so unless they have tier 3 already, than the other tiers won't show up in the blood-web again.
in the case of how the perk rng works...
As far as spawns go, it's all RNG. No perk is special over the others, and it honestly depends on how lucky you are to get it. You could level up to P3 and not get Ruin until level 40... it honestly just depends on luck.
While the Prestiges do help with the rarity issue, it's all dictated by RNG.
But to be basic about it...
Once you unlock it again through Bill or the Shrine, it'll be unlocked in everyones blood-webs again. If you don't unlock it again, than you won't see it in the blood-webs anymore. This is because of Bills implementation changing how the perks are obtained.
As far as if it'll show up again in the blood-web after you re-unlock it for every Survivor... that's all up to RNG right there.
-
That's something you'll have to bring up with the support team or a dev themselves, nobody here can really answer that question unless they found a fix to it.
Here's the support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Asking the support team can let them know about the issue (if they don't know already). It can also possible give you some answers or even a fix to said issue! But whether or not a fix does exist or the support team is aware of this is unknown, so please do file a ticket to get your answer squared away.
-
No not yet, the only Cross-Platform that exists at this time is cross-platform play with Windows and Steam servers.
They're looking into cross-platform for console and PC in the future, but whether or not that is confirmed or not is unknown. What we do know is that cross-platform is definitely on BHVRs mind, as for cross-saves as well, that's currently up for debate... but when cross-platform is introduced, cross-saves also follow with it.
-
It isn't to pip up, it's for the BPs. Some Survivors keep doing safe unhooks to gain more BPs, since it gives 1k from an unhook and 500 more points if a few seconds pass... making it a "safe unhook."
Also, if you're solo than the other Survivors are not going to know that you have Borrowed Time unless you tell them that in the pre-game chat. And they sometimes won't be at the monitor or tab back in until the match starts... so doing that everytime will not really let everyone know.
It basically boils down to "look, free 1k blood points" and that they think it'll make you go back onto the generator you were working on to save time. Sometimes they don't even know you're going for the save, so they determine this off of how long the person on the hook is unhooked. If you take too long to get the save, than eventually someone will get of a generator to go and get them. So sometimes that will cause both the Survivors to get off BOTH those generators and get them at the same time. That's the downside of being solo with no mics though, so it's ultimately up to your personal judgement.
Oh and one more thing
Some Survivors don't care about piping up at all, which is why I say it's most likely for more blood points. This is especially the case for Survivors at Red Ranks (aka 95% the case) but at Purple Ranks it's kind of more so to pip up to Red... but also to mostly get blood points.
Unless you want to stay progress in the ranks, than it's mostly for Blood points.
-
Introduction
The best advice I can give is to try and not crutch on perks that act as an aid to your problem. Perks like NOED and Technician for skillchecks sound enticing, but they cause the users to grow dependent on them... which usually results in no growth to the players overall skill and even enjoyment in some cases.
I'll elaborate some more on the Killer side of things below.
Killer meta (summary)
While I will recommend you try and get "Hex: Ruin" on the Shrine of Secrets (This is located in the store [the suit case icon] in the main menu and killer/survivor menu). This perk helps a lot with some Killers that can't really snowball or play effectively in high ranking situations. While you won't really have to worry about that in rank 20 (Grey Ranks) you'll eventually notice that ranks like Green Ranks (Rank 10-14) and Purple Ranks (Rank 8-5 I believe) become much more difficult to maintain.
You'll want perks like Pop Goes the Weasel, Ruin, Nurse's Calling, BBQ and Chili, the meta perks. I'd advice looking into the current meta of DBD for more information on this.
But do know this is Killer sided, i'll elaborate more for the Survivor side below.
basic tiles/Basic loops, what you need to know
I'll be providing a video for you below. This video touches up on how tiles (aka loops) work in this game. You'll want to watch the video and understand how every basic tile that spawns in almost every map works. This video is a bit dated but the information is still solid, so do watch if you're interested in how to use loops as a Survivor OR counter them as a Killer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6QYjInzLeM&t=19sand some other small bits of info from me
I can't touch up on everything in one comment, so here's some information to know. The perks and meta I mentioned above MOSTLY covers the Killer side of things, but if you want more information on the Survivor side of the meta, than do please look that up as well.
Most of the perks mentioned above are stuck behind DLC... but thanks to the Shrine of Secrets (again, this is located in the shop in-game itself) you can try and wait for the right perks to show up... you pay for these perks to unlock on all your Killers or Survivors (depending on the perk) with Iridescent shards. Iri Shards is a currency that you can get by just simply playing the game. It's rewarded to the player periodically, but usually it's rewarded to the player when they level up their overall player level.
Unlike Survivor and Killer ranks, the overall player level serves to gain the player "Rift Fragments" through 800 EXP ea time, and it's primary use is to just reward the player with the Iridescent shard currency.
But before I go... some other things to know...
the archives
Also, The Archives is something you'll want to get invested in as well. The Archives is located in the Survivor/Killer menus through the tab on the right hand middle side, but it's mainly located in the main menu itself.
There, The Archives offers a wide variety of challenges and rewards to boot! Please do watch this video below for more information.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWK7ieKRrYESurvivor meta (Summary)
Basically, most perks like listed above for the Killer meta are behind DLC. But for you as a starter, you can find some really good meta perks from the Survivors that're already available to you!
Claudette offers perks such as Self Care and Empathy. Self Care allows you to heal yourself at a decreased rate, rather than finding other Survivors to heal you themselves! And Empathy can track the location of any Injured Survivors in the entire map! This is displayed by a yellow aura they give off.
But before I ramble on anymore, you'll want to invest time into unlocked perks like Bills Borrowed Time, Claudettes Botany Knowledge and Self Care, Dwights Bond and Prove Thy Self, etc.
You can easily research this information, but a fair bit of meta perks are already available to you to unlock. To unlock these perks for every Survivor, simply just level those Survivors up to 30-35-40... which will unlock one of their teachables each time, until all of them are unlocked for every Survivor to find in their blood-web.
But yeah, that's... it for a summary...
blood-webs (Summary)
Basically, the blood-web is where you spend your main currency (blood points). Blood Points are accumulated through playing a trial (aka a match) as a Survivor or Killer. Depending on how well you do at your role, you're rewarded as such.
in the blood-web (located in both the Killer side and Survivor side menus) you can spend these blood points to unlock rewards and various perks as well! You can even find the teachable perks you unlocked from the Killers or Survivors you leveled up to do so...
conclusion
If I listed everything, than this would span like 10 pages long.
I'm gonna stop here to give you an idea of what you'll need to know for the most part, please do look into some basic youtube videos for more information... or just check out the comments that come into this post to help you out.
Stay safe out there.

Tremors and Pop are good.
Devour is fun but eventually it will become less and less effective as you get better survivors. Eventually you will need to use a different perk. Most likely you will want to start using Ruin.
NOED is a bit of a crutch. If you play with it all the time you won't improve as killer. I'd recommend swapping this for something else to slow the game. Thana. Sloppy. Knockout. Those can help slow down the game.
I mean you can argue that Ruin is also a crutch.
But than you can also argue that it's necessary for Killers that're just bare-bones in a one on one chase with the regular M1. It's a mixed bag, but I agree that keeping NOED for too long will keep any new Killer from eventually growing and branching out.
That's personally why I don't like the perks existence, because of that. But everyone can use whatever they want, it's up to them to decide if they want to move past it though.

I'll give a sort of definition to it... in my own way.
Farming
To indulge in the act of playing friendly with the Killer to gain BPs (Blood Points) for both sides. Farming is usually done by every player within the trial, but in some cases, some Survivors refuse to indulge in the act.
So basically...
In a sense, some Survivors band together to use BPS's (Bloody Party Streamers) to gain 100% BPs for each BPS used, that's a total of 400% + if the Killer is tipped off before hand becomes 500%... or it's by luck they use a BPS to make it 500%
Than, some Survivors tend to use a perk called "We're Gonna Live Forever" which gives a 25% BP bonus each time you safe rescue a Survivor off the hook.
For the Killer, the other perk for them would be BBQ to gain another 100%. This effectively makes every Survivor and the Killer gain 600% BPs in one match... but sometimes this isn't always going to happen... and you'd be lucky to get even one BPS.
but can you get banned for it?
It's not stated under the game rules that you'll be banned for in-game Farming, but it also isn't ok to do either. Farming is a sort of grey line with BHVR... but BHVR has said before that they're highly against the act of farming (I.E. they frown upon it).
That being said, has anyone been reported to be banned for farming? Well... no... at least not anyone who has the entire team and Killer wanting to do it. See, the thing is... nobody really reports you for farming since the entire team and the Killer joined in on it.
So, to report say... the Killer for farming while you yourself and your team also farmed would make no sense what-so-ever.
But the question is, is it bannable? Well, in some cases some Survivors don't want to farm... and if the Killer and the other Survivors force that on them, than BHVR takes action against that yes. But if the entire team and Killer is on board than... the report never comes anyways, so did it ever even happen?
I don't know, I can't say for sure. That question has been tossed back and forth and well, I don't think anyone really knows that answer for sure, except the devs of course, they're the ones that issue the bans.

You don't need good map. You need stupid survivors.
Not entirely true, if the basement is in the corner of the map... than it's a lot harder to pull off a snowball with it.
-
Basically yes, it's in-fact a sort of hard counter to it... since it either breaks even when used beforehand, or it regains any lost progress when a Killer uses PTGW on a generator that's say... on 75% or so.
They both reduce and increase the generator by 25% (If you hit both skillchecks with BNP... otherwise it's only 15% as the DBD Wiki says) And since percentages... can't really be interpreted in any other way... it's safe to say that this is indeed the case!

It could be because of dedicated servers, just like the times the entity blocks the window at the fourth vault and not 3rd
I doubt that, those issues have shown themselves less and less since the 2nd tests late release.

There's also Freddy, if the unhooker has the bad idea to do it while sleeping
I forget about him sometimes... not sure why.
Probably because his undetectable status effect is kind of unique...

Personally, The Chapel is an ok map for The Clown. Should it be changed though? That really depends on if the community hates The Clowns current map, if the map feels uninspired, etc.
But personally, I like The Chapel and the other associated maps to The Clown... it's fits well with the theme of a traveling circus act. If it was something extravagant like a massive circus tent with all these creatures and areas, than that would be cool too.
But tbh, I think is map is fine the way it is... in terms of theme and atmosphere, it fits the bill pretty well.
as for the current map itself...
I believe the Chapel is kind of a staple of what The Clowns theme is... he's a travel circus act, therefore the chapel is just one of the many random locations he visits as he goes about his traveling act.
I don't personally think the Chapel has any real purpose, other than to be a main building for the map itself. Regardless, it still does fit with the idea of what The Clown is and how his lore was constructed.
Plus, the caravan he travels in isn't really big in the first place... it's more akin to an older style of a traveling circus, rather than a modernized one. Plus, a traveling circus isn't always comprised of a few dozen acts and animals and such... it can really just be a handful of acts and a main carriage that goes from place to place.
I think that's the theme of what they were going for here, it's kind of an older take on a "one man act" type circus act, rather than an entire circus the clown takes with him... since if he did, he couldn't really effectively kill people I suppose? His caravan is very unique, silent, and out of its way... making it more unique to how mysterious it is while not taking away from The Clowns theme.
This was kind of a ramble, but that's my opinion on it at least. I think the map is fine the way it is, but if they changed it, I wouldn't mind that either.
