And what is were to learn againts killer you can't see? WHAT SHOULD I DO PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Drop a pallet and pray? Vault a window and pray? Close my eyes and hold foward? What mr LEARN TO PALY AGAINTS KILLERS should I do?????????
You can see grass moving when she phases and I believe dust from her steps. If she's phasing to catch up to you often times you can hear the woosh sound. Never immediately vault into her husk. Run from tbe loop first and if you can't get anywhere else quickly then make a tight circle to muddy your scratch marks and run back to the loop. She won't have time to make it back to the opposite side of the loop before her phase runs out.

bro they have 24 killers and most of them aren't even good
they need to focus on killers we have
True, but they will always add new killers at some point or else the game will die. So let them skip their next D-tier killer and put real effort into the most iconic slasher/horror character there is.
-
Negative.
-
The anti-loop style killers mostly. I know it sucks as killer to get run for 3 gens or more because maps are too big and have too many pallets, but man does it feel bad to have your only form of defense completely negated like with Nemesis or Deathslinger.
Also Bubba and Wraith. Bubba's chainsaw is too easy to use and lasts for far too long with a major speed boost. Wraith is overplayed and has way too much going for him (speed, sees through walls, silent bell, no cool down for power, speed boost while unblocking, etc.).
I genuinely love playing against good Nurse and Spirit players because you really have to think about what you're doing. They have the most interactive chases by far, and you have to stay on your guard for the entire match. They actually make you respect the killer as an opposing force.

It's weird people are just now talking about it. It's been in the game for how long and suddenly now it's overpowered. Where were the threads before about Iron will?
Probably due to the fact that it's been getting a lot of attention lately. Not only here but on YouTube as well.

Ok, this would be the greatest thing ever for 1 reason. When he's crouched, he rides his tricycle...

You don't care about the EULA? Do you realise how stupid that sounds??
You don't care about the legally binding contract you agreed to whenever you played Dead By Daylight? Once again may I specify legally binding contract.
You should care about the EULA because BHVR has zero obligation or reason to refund you.
This isn't even taking into account the time you spent with old Kate being worth the money.
EULA's aren't ironclad. The get challenged in court and ruled against all of the time. And recently game companies have been losing and settling lawsuits because they fail to deliver the product they advertise or keep the game in a working state. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see this happen to BHVR as a result of all the bugs they either can't or won't fix.
-
I don't care for cake really unless it's soaked up an unhealthy amount of melted ice cream. Strawberry rhubarb pie however is the greatest dessert of all time.
-
It would be a massive help if they eliminated some items. Mist offerings and hook offerings are the first to come to mind. I think map offerings and therefore sacrificial wards should go as well. Without those the bloodweb would be much more manageable.
-
2 things should change with regression.
First, survivors should not be able to gen tap to stop regression. It should take the same amount of time as it takes a killer to kick a gen to stop regression with a skill check added in.
Second, a kick should regress gens at 50% of repair speed (like ruin) as opposed to the current 25% so kicking a gen is actually worth the used to do so.
-
This thread is all the proof needed that bad survivors don't understand how spirit works or how difficult it actually is to play her. Footsteps are by far the most important piece of information to reliably track survivors.
It also shows these same survivors know they've reached the upper limit of their skill level. Even with their SWF groups and plethora of second chance perks they lack either the will or ability to learn how to play against B tier and above killers so they demand the game be made easier for them. It's both sad and comical.

It's cool, sorry if I came off as overly aggressive I am very tired right now :')
No worries.
-
I was gone from the game for a year and only came back a few weeks ago so I've missed everything that happened since the 4th Anniversary and Pyramid Head release. That's why I was asking. Sorry.
-
I may be wrong about this, but I thought I read during an AMA that the devs don't mention anything about any character's sexuality because they want the players to be able to determine it for themselves. Basically all of our headcanon and ships are possible, just not official.
This could be something that another user made up during the AMA though. I really can't remember for sure.

Ok nice just spent 20$ on a game I already have cool cool. But I have a behavior account as well but I can’t even sign into it on pc
You'll have to start over on PC. Nothing from your PS account will transfer. It's the same for xbox. The worst part is that DBD is available on both xbox and xbox for PC using the same Microsoft/XBOX Live account and we STILL can't get progress from our console to our PC or vice versa.
-
I took a break for around a year. This is the only game that I felt better mentally when I wasn't playing it. It felt good to quit. I'm "back" for now but I'm not sure that I'll stay for more than a few weeks or spend any money. BHVR is frustrating.
-
This isn't even good bait. Try again.
-
A gen only regresses at 1/4 the speed a survivor can repair it from a normal kick. So your excuse doesn't hold up. Let the killer kick it and walk away and immediately start working on it again. And if the other survivor is doing the same, the killer has no chance.
But you said you left to watch a Netflix show and the other survivor "freezed too" so it sounds like you both stopped playing the game and did as much to hold it hostage as the killer did.
To me though it sounds like the killer was trying to let you farm after d/c's but you didn't understand. He might very been trying to do the damage x number of generators archive as well.
-
Dropping an item for sure. If you're downed, crawling backwards into the hatch or out of the exit gates because it's kind of funny. And of course, booping the snoot!
-
She's not easy to learn or use. It takes a lot of trial and error learning what certain sounds mean and reacting to them in time, not to mention learning to accurately pinpoint a survivor's location by sound alone.
I'm still at the point where a survivor can double back or make a sharp turn and it takes me at least a full second to realize what happened.
-
She doesn't need any nerfs. You need to learn to play against her. She isn't that strong. She gets beaten badly, even by solo teams regularly.
It always surprises me how ready people are to admit they can't develop their skills any further so their opponents should be made weaker. What kind of attitude is that?
-
Yes. Wraith is nearly everything people claim Spirit is. He has unlimited speed boost while cloaked whereas spirit has a time limit and recharge timer. Wraith gives no warning when he's approaching until he gets close. You can see spirit anywhere on the map and her power makes a noise within a certain distance. You can trick a spirit by hiding your scratch marks and sounds. Wraith can see you even while cloaked. He can body block, see through walls, and break pallets and damage gens with increased speed. His add-ons help him hide when he's using his power. If you think Wraith has more counterplay than spirit then you're just on the hate spirit bandwagon imo.
-
New wraith is what people claim spirit is.
-
As killer I will completely throw a game in order to get rid of survivors that are toxic to their teammates. Then I let the rest farm.
-
Points aren't really the issue. It's the lack of fun due to the abundance of information they have as well as the ability to organize.
-
Surge makes me sad. It could he a great perk but it has too many limitations. Must be a basic attack, has an extremely limited range, and has a cool down timer for some reason. Oppression is even worse. Great perk held back by an Insanely long cool down.

@TheGhostofZgor said:
In my experience, survivors are, on average, more toxic or trolling than killers. Of course there are lots of bad/dickish killers and some great, fun survivor players but, wow, do some of them have a bug up the rear.
I realize this helps no one and only adds to pointless discourse but after a bad round, I had to rant.
For real though. Survivors will even be toxic to their own teammates for no reason. I had a Meg that got mad because I got to a chest before her so she started jumping in and out of a locker to alert the killer. She'd follow me around the whole game making loud noises and failing skillchecks all over a brown med-kit.
I've also had a guy send me a message on xbl bragging that they let me get 1 hooked because they "only save party members".
When I was trying to do my archive to escape through the hatch while holding a map I had a Kate show up to the hatch during EGC. I kept pointing for her to leave and she shook her head no. She just stood there pointing and teabagging as we both died to egc.
-
And when are survivors going to reward the killer with giving them kills for allowing you to farm 5 gens and get some heals? What's that? Never? Sounds about right.
-
It wouldn't work as a killer but we could make graboids the new EGC.

This, I want their faces to start melting revealing the robot parts underneath and I want them to start emoting in a juttery broken motion and start making sound like they are talking to themselves
Sounds like an unofficial FNAF chapter.
-
They really, really need to redesign the maps. Less pallets and more places to mind game. That's the only way to make M1 killers viable and give any amount of counterplay to ranged killers and Nurse, and more counterplay to Spirit. It would reward good players for making good skill based plays while still giving newbies a chance.
-
This is why the devs are in a weird spot. Most of the game is built around survivors having a lack of information as if SWF doesn't exist. Because of that, when they buff solo then SWF becomes even stronger. If they buff killers to deal with SWF, everyone complains. So they make killers that are strong in chase but have weak map pressure which isn't fun for either side and again everyone complains.
Basically people need to understand if solo's get buffed to the point of SWF, the either survivors as a whole are going to receive some massive nerfs or killers are going to receive massive buffs.
-
Definitely not lethal pursuer. The survivors should have time to look around or open chests before jumping straight on gens or running to spread out.
I do think it would be cool if 3 gens were always blocked at the start. Either 3 random gens or even the 3 gens closest to the survivors. It would encourage more interaction with the environment and other players before going straight to a hold M1 objective.
-
I would say I win as a solo against her fairly often, even at red ranks. I try to make sure I bring a good selection of perks to give me info on what's going on and I play accordingly.
Kindred is good to see if the killer is camping and what my teammates are doing. If they're on gens I go for the save. If they're going for the save I pressure gens.
Any totem hunting perk because ruin or devour can destroy a solo team.
A killer tracking perk like Spine Chill or Alert.
And my 4th is either for fun or survivability. It could be BT/DH/DS or it could be something like Blast Mine, Repressed Alliance, Head On, Ace In The Hole, etc.
Lastly, I always have a way to heal myself at least once during the match. Either a med-kit or a perk.
When countering spirit you always want to get as much of a head start on chases as possible. Break line of sight as often as possible. Try not to mind game yourself. People panic when she stands still which causes them to do things like slow vault a pallet right into her hands. Try to pay attention to how long it's been since she used her power. If she last used it for 4 seconds, it should take her about 8 to recover and use it again.
-
There isn't really anything you can do about it. They really need to make survivors lock in 30 seconds before killer so they can't pull that BS.

No, no they won't.
You really never know. Eventually the game is going to run out of new players to attract and all of the veterans that got tired of nerf after nerf in order to appeal to the lowest skill level of survivor will have long since moved on.

I wouldn't be opposed to buffing lightweight and other niche/underwhelming perks for either side, but there is an underlying problem with spirit that is blatantly obvious to anyone who plays survivor for more than 15 mintues per day. She just has too many things going for her, Insanely fast movement and on-demand movement speed, a bit of stealth via going invisible, and little to no tells as to what she's really doing for the survivor. All this for the price of.... losing some visiblity of survivors. Some. You still get to see scratch marks, (blood with the addon,) grass moving, and you can hear their breathing. She needs a nerf directly.
I play 3 or 4 times more survivor than killer and I can tell you without a doubt that spirit is fine. It's mediocre survivors that refuse to learn or change how they play that think she's OP and needs a need. Even the data shows she's only slightly above the average when it comes to average kills for killers.

Maybe because when the game isn't crashing, this is what happens. Every match killers and survivors are jumping all over the screen, not to mention the plethora of other bugs.
-
Personally I think it adds to his meme-ability and for that reason should stay.

Yeah but we need genrush againts her. And this is boring.
And how she is not broken lol? She does not need any skill. You just need to read voices, scratches or if you are using add-on bloods. Spirit is not hard and does not need skill.
I am Blight main and learning him was so hard. Also i am still trying learn Nurse and she is also so hard. But Spirit? She is strong like both them and with low skill. And i did not talked about her broken add-ons. Otz already made video for this, watch him.
Spirit is still broken killer with unfair gameplay.
I watch most of Otz's content. He's wrong about spirit. Most people don't play the game for 40 hours per week like he does. I mean, the man has completed 50 kill streaks on almost every killer. Not many people can do that. Casual players need strong Killers without a high skill ceiling. Spirit may not be as hard as Nurse to learn, but she is harder than most other Killers because she has to rely almost entirely on sound and there are several ways to counter that or take advantage of it as survivor.

I can play againts her. But this is not makes her balanced and fair.
We can not talk about broken mechanics?
Except she doesn't have broken mechanics. And since you just admitted she can be played against, there's no reason to change her.
-
@Northener1907 said:
She still has strong base-kit and broken add-ons. We still have not clue about her: Is she phasing, is she behind me or just baiting me etc.
New Iron Will can help little but this killer is still so strong.
You just need to learn to play against her. I'm pretty sure BHVR intends to keep her the way she is. They chose not to give her a phasing animation during her re-work because they want it to be a secret.
Even if you could tell she was phasing it would still be a guess on where she might reappear.

Wow, this is the only game people stop you from disconnecting. I’ve played many other games yet this is the only one with a penalty.
Listen man, you might not like it when people disconnect but if I’m not enjoying the match I’m not gonna play it.
A lot of games have some sort of penalty for disconnecting. Usually the first 1 or 2 are freebies but after that there's a time penalty.

They've released a bunch of skins from previous rifts, though.
Most complete outfits up to the second one are on the store, and some community skins. (Feng's one and Clown's Mr. Puddles)
I must not have seen some of them then. I knew a few were but I see some in-game that aren't there.
-
The crybullies will never stop. They only see the game as a 1v1 and think every killer should be able to be looped for 5 gens.
