It isnt perfected but it either needs to be nerfed or they need to give survivors tiles to actually use.
Please survivors have tiles to actually use, play ormond and tell me about the lack of tiles.
Also bamboozle isn't a free hit either.

The devs thoughts and opinions change Orion. They added busted things to the survivor side thinking it was fine only to remove it later because it wasnt. I'm simply using logic to back up my claim. If the devs didnt want the 5 second stun to stay they would change it plain and simple. I'm keeping this short because I'm busy and also there is no need. Just use your head.
Do you remember MoM? Everybody told them how broken it was, they still added it, please do not tell me cause they thought it was fine. Because there is no way that anybody thought that this perk was fine when it was released from a game balance perspective.
It was changed later, after enough people bought the dlc. That ignored the game balance for weeks.
Orion just simply explained reasoning for changes, never did he talk down on you @azame and he sure has not a superiority complex. Have you studied psychology to even make such a statement? Because you missed the point completely, he and the others never said vets opinion is worth more than from new people, just that he can actually give abit more inside to changes of the game which you missed out on since you were not around. The devs talked a whole lot, answered lots of questions, he just repeats what was said and that has nothing to do with opinion.
This is also how so much unvoluntary comedy came to be, stuff like this for example https://youtu.be/qnwdPlx9yR4
So honestly, say thanks instead of feeling insulted because there were none made to you.
@Orion I assumed at some point you would bash your head into your keyboard, props to you that you didn't.

If your games look like this. I'm gonna be 99 and round up with you. You should probably uninstall. Most issues that killers have with survivors can be pointed out in these three survivors.
Also I think it goes without saying but if you do see survivors play like this in your games. Show them that they reap what they sow.
But don't send hate to these specific ones, im sure they are definitely wonderful people at parties.
I lost it when he said " They are 2nd chance the musical".

FarmerJohn is just such a nice streamer, maybe Wima comes close to him not sure.

Well, if you're chasing someone off of a gen, then you usually can get an injure on a survivor. And then you just make a simple choice - is it worth to commit to a down? If there are good tiles nearby and the survivor is good, then no, go patrol gens - if the survivor is injured they will either have to heal or they will be more vulnerable if you catch them off guard. Otherwise go for the down.
And I agree that gen tapping is bad, but if that bothers you, you can use Dragon's grip or Overcharge, for example. It's not like there is no counter.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1674998#Comment_1674998
Well, you just proved my point? The post you sent talks about the Enduring "nerf" - but like Peanits said, it was done for, what I said tons of times already, consistency AND balancing. If the balance team decided that a 5 seconds stun is appropriate, (because, like Peanits said, they considered changing it back), then it is.
I'm going to stop responding to this thread, because it's just like talking to a wall at this point.
Game balancing is not bias. Consistency is not bias. Have a nice day.
No I didn't, since you were the one who didn't know what was said and when showed, changed his mind about what he actually wanted to see in the first place. It was just a courtesy since you seem to have no clue about the subject, so i provided you some.
Next time you can actually use google yourself and while you cry about game balance and tell your assumptions, we know why it was done since we have been here and askes questions back then like @Orion did.
Good that you are finally out of the thread.

What should happen instead? A 5 second start up where no progress is seen? An entity blocker that makes them work on a different gen?
And there are perks that exploit that behavior. An Overcharged gen with Dragons Grip will get more regression, and a down. Oh but we don't use those because the meta don't call for it and that means they're garbage. Durrr.
I like how you exaggerate and completely dismiss the problem that the killer has to spend 6s in order to kick the gen and that can be completely negated by a quick tap of 0.x s while continue running. Also why not use those? Because why waste time kicking gens in the first place and even using perk slots to that idiotic thing when you play against swf where that works one ######### time. Just waste 2 perk slots for a one time gimmick trick that might work in a match once.
Yeah I don't see the issue at all why people do not use that.
How about an animation same as the killer has in order to kick the gen? Yeah that be weird.

Between all killers running infectious fright and BBQ calm spirit is a necessity. Also with killers such as the doctor and blight you need it to keep quiet from screaming. What other perks do you guys run out of curiosity?
I am not running calm spirit, i dont care that they know where i am. I want them to know where I am, i click, tbag and vault in order to make sure they know where I am.
Also did you know calm spirit will make you die faster? As you skip the scream on 2nd hook stage and go immediately into struggle. I don't know if that is still case but chances are that it hasn't been fixed.

Haha, alright. I was talking about Enduring, not DS. And I am taking the devs by their word - can you point me out where in the patch notes does it exactly say that the DS "buff" was explicitly caused by Enduring? Because I can't see it :)
That's only your presumption, at most.
And alright, killers were nerfed too. Same as survivors. Again, because of balance. Not bias. Hard to understand?
You do not find explanations in the patch notes. That is not where they are.

And if you think balancing the game is "bias", because, like I explained, DS needs a 5 second stun to work properly, then I'm glad you're not a game developer..

PATCH NOTES 2.6.3
FEATURES & CONTENT:
- Feature - Added support for Twitch Game On.
- Content - Added a new Survivor (Ashley J. Williams).
ATTENTION
The new character, Ash J. Williams is available with Auric Cells in the in-game store as soon as the update is released.
The DLC will be available later today on all platforms and will include an exclusive item.
BALANCE:
- Changed the Decisive Strike stun time to 5 seconds, with the Survivor being free to move after 1 second.
- The Enduring perk now affects Decisive Strike's stun.
With feedback from the PTB and Live, we have changed the Decisive Strike stun time to 5 seconds, with the Survivor being free to move after 1 second. This should allow for the survivor to have ~ 4 seconds at a base to try and escape the killer after the stun is successful. When Enduring is used, the stun will be reduced to ~2.8 seconds. Of those 2.8 seconds the survivor will get a head start of ~ 2.28 seconds which makes escaping possible but much harder.
BUG FIXES:
- Fixed an issue that caused The Plague to be unable to hit Survivors with Corrupt Purge in quick succession.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Plague's Brutality score events not to trigger.
- Fixed an issue that caused the camera to follow the Killer when spectating a player in the match that is on a hook.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Nurse to be unable to blink on the Mausoleum tile in The Temple of Purgation map.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Wraith's Bone Clapper add-on to have no effect (thus making it still possible to identify distance & direction of the Wailing Bell sound).
- Fixed an issue that could cause healthy Survivors to become infected when a fully sick/infected Survivor was saved by another fully sick Survivors.
- Fixed an issue that made it impossible to cleanse a totem next to a rock and tree in the Autohaven Wrecker's maps.
- Fixed an issue that made it impossible to cleanse from a fountain next to a tree in front of a car in the Autohaven Wrecker's maps.
- Misc localization improvements.
- Misc The Plague audio improvements.
- Fixed some crash issues.
- Fixed some instances of infinite loading screens.
With this update, we have identified some causes for crashes and the infinite loading screen bug. We are continuing to investigate the issue.
deal with it

Yeah but @Orion is telling the truth tho. Iirc they chose that enduring will no longer affect ds since it always ended up with very weird values thus they decided to no longer affect it all but did stay with the 5sec stun of ds, which they previously had increased. Also this wonders completely offtopic.

Well lets make this quick unlike my 3 other tries to type this
Anyone who plays this game often and is in the community knows behaviour favors the survivor's words more then killer and for that I say it's not right but it is way more fair then if they favored killer since well killers won't complain about their killer being op all they would have to do is complain about a survivor perk that counters their ability like calm sprit against doctor and then it would kill the survivors ability to have a fighting chance but when behavior favors survivor it hasn't killed the game and I don't see it happening anytime soon
Conclusion I suck at ending these things but instead of going crazy in the comments talk about this like civilized humans because I want to hear what you think and hear your criticism but please don't be too hard on eachother this is just for conversation
Edit: made it easier to read
The biggest display of favoritism (aside from what @Orion mentioned) would be the recent explanation of Almo on nerfing pgtw when the same can be applied to ds.
Aside from these, there is a big diffrence in bug fixing. Survivors are "just" skins with diffrent volumes of breathing, grunts of pain etc. Killers differ way more from one another so when you main a certain killer and it is bugged, and BHVR does not fix bugs it tends to be very frustrating after a certain amount of time.
For example take the reworks, there is freddy, who get much stronger and easy to play. Great for those who like that, superb. There are reworks like nurse, nurse is/was bugged for a longtime since then. I am still waiting for bug fixes of that rework, this is a year by now. It gets frustrating to have bugs impact your game and when you then see an addonbug of her being fixed as soon as it was made a little bit more known when it impacted survivor fun, it is really really disheartening to say the least. So you can fix bugs of deathslinger all you want or of other killers, for me the days/weeks/months/years of waiting just increase and nothing changes.
I understand that more players are affected by survivor bugs, yet I think after a year, it has been enough waiting for them to start fixing bugs even tho when less players do play nurse or a specific killers as I am sure nurse is not the only killer, just the one I am most aware of.

I never said just 4Ks. After all, gen times are stupid af in this game. That being said, a Spirit with Stridor is going to end chases extremely quick as long as they can play the game.
That is true, sorry for that, I just picked a few people randomly who all argued it doesn't take any skill as spirit. What is there to prove? A killer who goes invisible and fast with a speed boost at the end when phasing with no interaction from the other side than using Iron Will, Spine Chill and maybe Urban leaves no discussion. The fact she can stand still and people call that a "mindgame" is ridiculous. You shouldn't have to run specific perks to counter ONE of the killers on the roster.
The speed boost at the end was nerfed significantly, the other side does have interaction it is called making a read.
Whether you think it is ridiculous or not does not matter, it is a mindgame after all, check the definition of mindgame. You do something in order to manipulate somebody in order to gain an advantage, standing still as spirit does exactly that. The irony of that is that survivors do have the exact same mindgame.
Oh no they don't! Yes they do, a short loop at a pallet, you stand still as survivor and pretend to drop the pallet. The killer either respects the pallet which leads to another loop as you again press shift + w or you see an animation triggering in which case you press space and get a stun. WOW such skill, dude! Do survivors complain about that? Yes when they have the reflexes of a dead cat and get hit through the pallet, which most of the time is their own fault.

@Weeezy said:
Devs, I've got some questions about everyone's favorite chainsaw brother, The Hillbilly. How do you guys take a character that is considered very fun and well respected among the community and manage to make him completely dead. Billy used to be very popular because he was just a ton of fun to play as and against. But ever since the nerf, everyone has just abandoned him.
First, you guys ruin his animations to "get rid of skybilly/spacebilly". Why can't you guys keep spacebilly in the game. I have never once heard someone complain about a Billy flying up in the sky. It's just funny and amusing to watch. No Billy mains actually exploited it to win games, they just wanted to show off. Also, getting on to a loop is still possible because you can saw off of a hill on to a pallet loop. You can even get on to jungle gyms/main structures if you bounce off a hill at a certain angle. How about that BHVR?
His new animations are completely terrible and make Billy much more unsatisfying to play as. While ending your saw, it faces your camera towards the floor, which takes away your sight on the survivor you were currently chasing. It just feels awful. And it looks like the saw is coming out of your body when you hit a survivor (if that makes sense). With the old one, you could see clearly ahead of you and it honestly just looked really nice and smooth. Also, the limping from the Billy's perspective that he got made him feel so slow for some reason and it felt terrible. Another animation that they changed was his chainsaw sprinting animation. Although I don't care much about this one, the new one looks kinda weird from a survivor's perspective because he's like bouncing up and down a little.
This one really isn't an animation, but his curving. They adjusted the curving sensitivity with the animation changes in April 2020 and it just feels off because you can hit that many hard flicks like you were able to before, which makes double engravings (the way I play Billy) much more unfun. I honestly don't get the point of this, but it's BHVR, they always ######### things up that didn't need touching.
Speaking of not needing touching, in early July of 2020, the mid-chapter patch released and Billy officially became a dead killer. Most Billy players quit playing him when the devs messed with his animations back in April, but there were still some sticking around with the killer afterwards. Then patch 4.1.0 hit and every Billy player disappeared into thin air just because he is so unfun and unsatisfying to play as.
His addon nerf was for the most part fine, but the thing is only like 2-3 of his old addons needed to be changed. These were primer bulb, especially tuning guide, and debatably spark plug. These all increased his charge time with zero downside to them. And combined with other charge time addons or speed addons (instasaw, crack billy, etc.), it made Billy 10x easier to play as and a pain in the ass to go against. I think myself and the entire rest of the community (even fellow Billy mains) agree that these addons had to be nerfed. BHVR did listen about that, but they pushed it way too far, reworking most of his addons.
I never really minded the new addons bc I only use double engravings, but there are just so many useless ones for him now. Both of his red addons are trash (even when they're put together) because any survivor with eyes will be able to see him sprinting towards you and reposition themselves. Then you've got other stealth-related addons like the buckle, leafy mash, and motor oil. Just like the previous ones, any survivor with eyes will render these addons completely useless. To be fair, he did get some pretty fun ones like lopro chains which lets to saw through pallets and get a hit, but the point is most of them aren't really useful. His speed, bumping, steering, and overheating ones are fine as they are, but everything else is either A: not fun to use or B: not beneficial enough. It was better when his addons just changed the numbers of his power and not add stupid effects.
Next, we have the overheat mechanic. This change was not the worst because it punished Billys that missed a lot of saws at loops, but that was the reason so many people had so much fun looping Billys. Because of how much counter-play he has as survivor. Creative Billys will go for all different kinds of curves and tricks to get skillful hits on survivors and they're genuinely getting outplayed. It's pure skill. Curving on Billy takes an insane amount of skill and takes months to get good at. Against good survivors, Billy was one of, if not the most balanced killer in the game because he can be looped pretty hard (by survivors that actually know what they're doing and not run without looking behind them) and in exchange he gets high mobility to pressure gens.
The overheat mechanic is just an annoying limit to Billy's creativity with his saw and makes him so much more frustrating to play as. Now before you go writing "WeLl I nEvEr OvErHeAt As BiLlY" it's double engravings (aka skillbilly) that gets hit the hardest by the overheat mechanic. While playing Billy without an extra charge time, you never overheat unless you miss literally every one of your saws (in which case you are just bad). But with a 24% increased charge time, you overheat in literally 2 1/2 saws. Double engravings also requires a lot of 99ing your saw to get the curve just right, resulting in even more heat. Just delete overheat. Replace his overheat addons by bringing back his cooldown addons or something.
Billy's base kit definitely did not need a nerf. It wasn't overpowered, the survivors you are giving us are just underpowered. Everyone said the Billy nerf was not justified at the patch, but guess what, they still went through with his changes. The devs need to stop listening to survivors that never admit their own mistakes and always blame the game for when they die and listen to the killer community. Devs are survivor mains change my mind.
UPVOTE TO GET DEV'S ATTENTION AND FOR THEM TO FINALLY LISTEN TO THEIR COMMUNITY BEFORE THEY ADD A BRUTALLY MURDER AND ADD A COOLDOWN TO EVERY OTHER KILLER, even your main.
#BRINGBACKBILLY
Yeah i mostly agree with everything that was said, unfortunately you did not mention sounds and the sounds are the cherry on top of a poop cocktail. I can not stand his roar, it sounds awful.
also my main killer has already her little adjustments, devs don't care at all for killers and the bugs they create with reworks. see survivors are just skins and for killers it is just about the latest creation which lots of people play. so you play something that is old like billy? well play oni, anyway do not hold your breath, i am waiting for over a year for them to fix bugs of nurse. hf but do not hold your breath

A bet? What. Anyone who has played this game for longer than a week knows that there is no mindgaming a Spirit. If you don't have a specific perk on then you're screwed.
4k€ for a 4k of 4 specific survivors, swf premade-one round, you don't end up with a 4k you pay the same to each survivor. After all there is no mindgaming her, just 4ks.

Since when does the amount of posts relate to being a good example for the community? But no worries, I think I am, since I am calling out your bs. Just because you are a terrible survivor who lasts 20 seconds in a chase and dcs instantly the moment he sees a spirit, does not mean everybody does.

If you can’t connect the word Snipe to how bully can predict where survivors may be and cross the map and insta down them, then please go read a book.
Im sorry you got offended by me calling spirit a weeb killer omegalul
Yeah I can connect that, but unlike you , I actually did play killer. See billy is very loud when he approaches, so in order for a survivor to be hit by a billy who sprints across the map, they have to be blind, deaf and incapable of using the movement keys, that is literally how easy it is too dodge a billy who sprints across the map. Far more easy than to avoid a curve of a decent billy or hugging windows. Play the game maybe instead of watching some streamer?
Actually I didn't get offended by it, you should stop to assume so much on your end, spirit is probably the most cringy killer there is. Yet she takes skill, otherwise you would not have chickened out of a bet. So most people saw botb, we saw there is counterplay to spirit and not every survivor goes down in 20secs like you and your friend up there. No worries now, jump back to to the other tab, spam omegalul spirit takes skill omegalul and keep parroting in your echochamber, just know that you are not able to put your money where your mouth is.

A billy who can curve around loops and snipe people or a huntress who can cross map are much more impressive than the weeb anime killer who ignores the entire chase
A billy can not snipe people, sorry kiddo billy is in a chainsaw sprint and not a fired railgun which connects instantly, the only way that this happens is because of stupid survivors who are too dumb to move.
Please just stop, you made a flawed statement, and you are too little to say sorry i f*ed up. Instead you try to make up with horrible comparisons such as billy can snipe good survivors across the map, yeah lul, lul ok  .

I consistently got 4k after 4k because of how easy she is. You can fake survivors by just standing still and even if you don't do that you phase, wait at the middle of a loop and listen before coming out of phase with her speed boost to down the survivor.

after the meg getting tunneled very hard i got mad.. i actually never got mad like that in DBD when i play survivor, i was just asking myself how can someone be so scummy and an #########..
well i decided to get the aggro.. and as i mentioned i was very angry at him for tunneling a baby who doesnt even know how to play the game.. and when i speak about tunneling he went 3x in a row for her, just focused on her, nothing like he found the meg all the time when looking for someone else.
Anyways.. i decided to be an ######### back to him, i tried to took the aggro and just wanted to make him feel bad.. helpless like the meg. Bully the bully right? :)
The chase started and i tbagged him, dumb tech, flashlight clicky .. pretty much did everything to ######### him up. Well after 2-3 minutes he disconnected and here the conversation begins.
Legion : ######### this ######### im out
Me : why did you leave we had so much fun?
Legion : i didnt had fun, why is every survivor so toxic holy #########
Me : so .. you play for fun right?
Legion : yea
Me : so.. just a question, why did you hard tunneled the baby meg?
Legion : i always tunnel the bad survivors first.
Me : and you wondering why survivors are toxic towards you?
Legion : wdym? im the killer and i need to kill the survivors.
Me : true, true but didnt you say you care about fun?
Legion : that makes no sense
Me : so you want fun at the game, but you do everything to make it unfun for someone else who cant even do something about that, it was fun to tunnel a baby meg, but as soon you got a decent player who bullied you because you bullied a baby it wasnt fun anymore for you? so you pretty much care just about your fun and everyone needs to suffer just to entertain you, and you had fun right? please keep playing like that but never again complain when someone doesnt care about your fun alright?
after that i left the lobby. i honestly didnt want to read what he has to say.
Sorry guys but how pathetic is that? im not mad about that he tunneled someone, im mad because he tunneled someone who maybe has just 20 hours in the game, and just to have fun? is this for real?
funnier is that he cares about his own fun and is doing everything for it but as soon someone doesnt care about his fun he disconnects because it was not fun at all? people with this mindset just deserve toxic behaviour and im talking for both sides.. that is also for all the survivor mains who bully a rank 20 killer you guys are just pathetic.
In my opinion you quit that discussion too early, see if he can actually realize the issue. And the thread is the usual, people do not even bother to read till the end at least that is what I assume from lots of posts. At least the usual found something new to blame on certain people, good for those i suppose.

That is quite the interesting point. I mean I really never had in any pvp game have to consider how much fun my opponent is having, I didn't need to because the assumption is that when you play the game you have fun even tho you are being rekt right now or you stomp me.
Does that mean that dbd is filled with so much bs that we know the other side is not having any fun and it is very frustrating so we should make sure they have at least somewhat amount of fun? Or is the community of dbd filled with snowflakes who should admit that they actually have fun playing the game even tho there are frustrating moments while playing the game?

If you think "smol pp" is so strong why don't you respect it? And yes I am definitely survivor biased for wanting games to be slower and letting both sides have the opportunity to play the game.
Thanks, so it is not about respecting the opponent is a diffrent matter to respect broken #########. You didn't say anything about wanting games to be slower, you just said play fair kumbaya. I am so tired of special snowflakes who claim, mimimi x didn't get a chance to play the game, reality is the person sucked at playing the game against that opponent.
Fyi i do not need to respect ,smol pp, since I do main nurse. Survivors who do use it, get tunneled afterwards same as with OoO. When I play other killers I have to respect that and that is why I always go back to nurse, no f's given.

A gameplan based around playing fair and respecting survivors will not get you hit by DS out of nowhere. 60 seconds is 2 chases, so if you chase another survivor before going after the recently unhooked one you should be in the clear. Of course respecting your opponents is a foreign concept on these forums.
Ah yes even more strawman, respecting your opponent has literally nothing to do with what you suggest, respecting your opponent is not to try to find another out of pity, that is actually the opposite as the thinking process is "oh you poor little baby, i am gonna go and find somebody else and you do gens". Where is the respect in that? Nah this just says you guys suck so bad I can afford to look for somebody else and still win this ez pz.
Please have at least a minimal understanding of what respect means, what tunneling means before you suggest silly ideas about it. There is literally no way in hell, that you beat me and my friends or other remotely good survivors by going from survivor to always another survivor and try to juggle all health states equally. Of course having a basic understanding of the game is a foreign concept to somebody completely filled up with survivor bias.

Ah yes unhooked survivors are impossible to resist, cool story mate. 😁
That is the part that you do not understand, when I down several survivors inbetween, hook them and still get hit by ds there was no tunneling at all yet I still get hit by ds so tunneling is no requirement for ds.

Ah yes as if tunneling is even a requirement to be hit by ds, cool story dude. 🤦♀️

As a killer main, I just want everyone to be aware that if you run Ruin/Undying you are no different than a survivor running DS/Unbreakable. You all have a smol pp. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Unlike ds/unbreakable, ruin/undying has clear counterplay. Also how does such a statement make sense in 2020?

I'll preface with this: this was a while ago and I didn't reply to them. Rolled my eyes, deleted the message, life goes on. I was also a bit wary of posting this since many people feel they need to defend themselves as if I am making an accusation or "woe is me" type post. I do not know life differently, it's not something I see a negative as much as just life. I am not posting this for sympathy, nor am I accusing anyone of doing these things. Some may also think I'm lying, since I deleted the message because I don't care what some random toxic survivor thinks of me. I have no reason to lie, but this is the internet, so you should be taking things with a grain of salt anyways.
Yes, I am. I was born with a disability that severely impacts my motor function. And it took me more than a decade of extremely nuanced OT to be able to even properly hold a PS4 controller.
I am very disabled when it comes to manual dexterity and motor function. Always have been, I was born with it. I am 19 years old and it takes me 2 minutes to tie one of my shoes. I couldn't play anything more difficult than Pokemon as a child. It took about a decade of specialised therapy to be able to do what can now. Taunt me all you want, I'm just happy I can actually play the game from a physical standpoint.
But I'm not the only bad killer who gets taunted for being bad. And I'm not the only disabled person playing the game. It doesn't bother me on a personal level because I am just happy that I can play, but it very much bothers me that people feel like they can go around saying these things.
I'm not accusing anybody of anything, of course, I will always give the benefit of the doubt.
I just think it's important to know that there are people who are fully okay with saying these things over a VIDEO GAME. If this person met me irl they wouldn't know I had a disability because I've learned to live with it in a way that lessens the burden on me, and makes me look more normal.
In the end though what does it matter? This person has the audacity to say these things, my life goes on and I'm the one using government funds to buy more DLC.
(But also...please don't do this)
Props to you for sharing that story of yours.
######### that idiot who told you that, people think it is the internet so they can act and say whatever they want. Most of them lack the ability to use their brain before they type something. The internet, depending on which country you live in or rather the person who said that #########, is not a lawless space in usual. Hope this changes in some countries as well. The difference is that people on the internet have no idea as to what you are in terms of gender/race/whatever, and talk smack to vent. This cult of personality that tries to ban people for insulting you over a video game is quite ridiculous. I am against silencing people that are talking smack as is known to happen in video games (you can't change the internet). The internet does not need to be a nanny state safe-place like how the rest of western civilization is becoming. Let people talk #########, and if you can't handle the heat then turn off game chat, it really isn't that hard.
They do not need to know what gender/race a person is in order for them not to talk in that way. I doubt that even 5% of the people who use gender/race/whatever as smacktalk on the internet would even dare to say that face-to-face to another person. Smacktalk =/= gender/racial slurs. Do you think calling somebody the n-word is smacktalk?
That is why I miss the old days the most, back then not every idiot had the ability to go online and there were mostly people with a brain. You wanna talk about rights? Fine. Yeah people have the right in the usa to practically have diarrhea through their mouth and hide behind "my freedom of speech" but others do not have to listen to it. Especially since BHVR provides the space where these people chose to spread their opinion, when said opinion, contradicts the rules that BHVR makes you agree to, they can revoke the right for this person to participate any further in their space.

I've seen a few content creators openly DC (or openly admitting to DC) in front of an audience, however, I haven't seen anyone say to their audience directly to start DCing though.
I know talking about content creators is a really touchy subject but this is just something that seems so irregular to me. It just seems a really bad thing to do even if you aren't promoting it because people will do what content creators do.
(obv don't name and shame k thanks)
Honestly if it is because of a bug (gamebreaking one) or an emergency irl i say it is okay. Anything else no and I do not care for the rest of excuses and justifactions made for it. Yes there can be lots of frustration in this game but this is also the case in other games, when you dc because of that, you shouldn't be able to play any further for a set amount of time which increases with each dc.

So what did the Devs did in this Patch?
Buffing Thana (Good)
Fix The Executioner "Loop mindgame" (Good)
Trail of Torment Extrem buff (good)
The other perk buffs (all good, ok not Technician but still)
Pop Nerf (was maybe needed)
So why do you think the Devs can't belance the game again?
In my Opinion this show us that the devs can and are willing to belance this game for our fun.
If they are good at balance how come that 90% of perks in this game are useless garbage and only exist for us to waste precious bp in?

It seems like you do not even understand the issue that people have with DS. Also stop assuming that play who have the opinion that ds is not healthy and utter bs for the game just play one role.

What about you? What do you think of Dying Light?
I think it has a massive downside for what it offers, the perk will not help you win but only help you win harder if you understand what i mean. The games you win with the perk, you win also without the perk, so it is not a good perk in my opinion.

^ Title says all. I have various DCs even in the beginning of the game just when survivors see Pyramid Head. And when I play against a really really organized swf and only get 1 kill or so they bm like there is no end...
In end-game chat they said multiple times that just by the fact that one is playing Pyramid head, you are toxic.
I really don't understand. It's by far not the strongest killer out there and I just enjoy the scraping :D So this really confuses me
It basicly comes from a narrative that is being told by people that there is no counterplay to pyramid head, since he can fake his power and get a hit on survivors at pallets and vaults. However those people did obviously not watch botb tournament where he was pretty much dumpstered every game aside from one. So losing to him just means they did play bad that round and admitting that is something some people are not able to do as they have no reflection whatsoever.

You do realise this forum is Killermain City, do you? So.. of course according to the majority here, the devs are all survivor mains who hate Killer and it does not matter what you say about that, it wont change.
I mean we had serious discussions here about which side they nerfed and buffed more in the last 12 months so...
See this as good as the argument OP does complain about. Why do we have daily threads complaining about killer x,y,z with not a low frequency and also about camping, tunneling or moris? Is that the stuff you expect killer mains to complain about? I mean just checking the recent discussion page debunks your claim.

Sorry I can not, I do not even remember whether it was a screenshot a stream I saw, cause I don't have them high on my priorities. I just got used to the bs of both sides. Thus didn't really pay that much attention, sorry.

.. and ongoing to nerf the most platenly obvious broken thing since the old BNP (those where you could instantly repair a gen). I mean it, devs, whats so difficult about it?
They got rid of the OP Brand New Parts within a few months, but after 4 years the killer sided equivalent of the same ######### is still in the game.
I am honestly sick an tired of killer who run ebony mori. Bring a Nurse, Spirit, PH, get a hook, tunnel off the hook so its instant 3v1. GG. How is that fair? WHY are there things in the game that gives one side more or less a free win?
And dont come up with Keys. Yes, they are op too, but not nearly as bad as Mori.
Just make it cosmetic style after 2nd hook. Why should there be an offering, that gives you a massive advantage? It makes no sense.
You don't even know that moris have been changed do you? Also you should maybe understand that other people have diffrent priorities also next time use the search function, we litteraly had a discussion about this yesterday or so. By the way as survivor you still have a chance to make it out of the game even when a mori played and being tunneled. In addition to that they said they are working on it or something like that, so be a big boy and be patient.

As the title stated, which killer brings you the greatest satisfaction to play and which killer do you find most exciting to play against as survivor?
Any reason is valid, so long as the killer brought you entertainment value.

My personal pick is probably Huntress for both, though I think Myers and Nurse also have powers that are quite fun to work around.
But I'm curious to hear who else is generally viewed favorably by the community?
Nurse and Nurse

While I dislike the overheat his not dead, I perform as good as I did with pre rework Billy.
I am sad people quit playing him cause they heard "nerfed" and "dead"
His still an amazing killer. He was A tier back then and his still A tier right now. People just need to learn and adapt like Nurse mains did with Nurse
I don't think that this can be compared. Nurse still has her power while billy gets punished for using his power. To get an actual curve/flick it takes time to position the survivor accordingly, doing that gets you to overheat rather quickly, when you go for milly well yeah but otherwise against good survivors? nope
€dit: At least for me it is a nope, not gonna bother and why would I. Oni does almost everything he does with way less frustration, thus oni it is. I mean i am sure there are some very good billies out there but to me the frustration is not worth it.
-
For me the stupid roar kills billy completely, also seems like his timing for the flick was changed so all muscle memory one had is gone.
I tried him couple of games and wasn't able to get a single curve and said f it, he play like a mobile old bubba for me now. Meaning you use the saw for mobility on the map and only backrev, which has nothing to do with skill and is super boring. rip billy, F.

I realize this is the most random place to say that but I can't tell my mom/my family doesn't believe in mental medication and I'm not sure what to do with this information or how to process it yet.
I'm going to be tested on Saturday and then get the results. If I do have ADHD it would explain so many things, so I guess being diagnosed is better than not? I don't know. It almost feels like having ADHD feels like you're labeling yourself in a bad way and I didn't want that for my life.
Wait for the results and try not to get worked up about things that you are not in control of, you will see whether you have it or not. I am sure afterwards they are able to tell you how to proceed. Doesn't really matter whether your family believes in that stuff, diagnosis are not about believing or not. You should put yourself first.

It's one thing to request survivors to go around cleansing all the totems. That's no issue at all. This perk does that by forcing them to go cleanse totems because each cleanse simply transfers the hexes. However, it shouldn't also add the double-whammy of revealing the auras of anyone who either strolls by, or moves to cleanse. It already notifies the killer with an atomic bomb-sized explosion. Thrill of the Hunt, if I recall, already reveals the auras of survivors cleansing totems, but only when they start to cleanse them. I guess nobody even bothered to consider that perk before they just introduced Thrill on crack.
simply put, no

Post says "for now" but I think we all know that that usually means on a game that doesn't even break 200 players on PC (also still no anti cheat and Lickers still DC people) and is currently in a really bad state of balance which doesn't even cater to anybody. Casuals and solo-Q are having a bad time because masterminds stomp them with ease, and hardcore players are having a bad time because swat squads stomp MM with ease.
Quite disappointed. Resistance could have been really great, but Capcom didn't give it the TLC it needed, like dedicated servers, adding an anti cheat or a way to flag cheaters, and fixing woeful problems in the engine that literally break the game.
Yeah i am quite frustrated with capcom, also no SE for DMC 5 on pc. yay

Hello everybody,
It's done, I have mastered Nurse and Spirit!
Nurse, I was on Yamaoka against a SWF team. I patrolled between the generators and found the perfect candidate to train! He was gifted, a very good looper! At one point I had a kind of understanding, I read his thoughts, I anticipated, I thought exactly like him! Without knowing where he was I was teleporting on him. I managed to put him down, the others came around me and there was general carnage... I touched everyone without even knowing where I was going, I was going fast. I slugged the looper, I knocked down 2 other survivors very quickly and waited for the last one. He managed to heal the two others and they made the last generator, they came back and I started to teleport myself by not missing any shot, NO, it lasted a long time but I let everyone out to celebrate and they were very respectful that means they found me strong in antiloop!
Spirit, last night on LAB I had a SWF team. They were loopers... very good loopers but very toxic! Its power is quite fun in the sense that you can appear in the opposite direction, they usually don't expect it. At each phase it was a carnage, I could predict 9/10 of the time the displacement as with the nurse. Same situation as the nurse but more difficult! Unfortunately when the power recharges it's a big waste of time, but the power is so much fun, I imagine the survivors jumpscare and I really like it! I killed everyone (unintentionally).
1 : I don't master the defense of the generators I'm almost useless, because I'm always afraid I won't find a survivor if I leave the hock, so I camp but I don't tunnel
2: I'm stuck between Nurse and Spirit, can someone give me the positive and negative of the two characters, so that I can form a definitive opinion? Tips and tricks are welcome too!
Thank you so much all and have a good day ! 🤗
Well you know always depends on the people so even when you have a really good game, there are survivors out there that will be able to ######### on you when you play nurse as they know how to play against it.
Advice:
Understand that nurse has limited mobility, punish survivors where you can. There are several ways to create pressure as nurse. Try to learn how to flick, do not just mindlessly aim for the blink. Aim down and you will actually be able to see more of your screen, flick up at the target, the moment you let go. I recommend to watch bruscles_ he is a very kind streamer who explains alot and deserves more views, check him out. Yeah he knows what he talks about 33k blink attacks, barely plays with addons.
I guess you know the usual stuff, you can charge your 2nd blink while you are blinking for more distance but be careful good survivors can hear that and might double back. There is a "rule" where as people tell you well nurse always reacts e.g. corner you blink to it and do not predict survivor movement due to loss of line of sight but sometimes it is the right choice and i think you already understand that part.
Try to know where deadzones are on maps so you are careful to avoid those, good survivors can bait you into failing blinks at them. That is it from the top of my head.

Ironically it would become more skill based if it had, for example, Freddys old passive phasing. You'd have to actually try with your "mindgames".
And because freddy's old phasing was so good, while he could hear/see survivors, it was completely changed. *clap*

It's always been silly to me that DS should even exist in this game. You literally can only DS a killer if they're being a trashy tunneler after all. The fact DS is still basically meta when they nerfed it is very telling of the poor current state of this game. No one should even have to use the perk but when a majority of your killerbase tunnels, it's the only thing survivors got and even then it's not bulletproof due to its nerf and the simple fact that if a killer wants to tunnel you they'll still do it, DS involved or not.
You can be hit by ds without tunneling at all, to me seems like you are just a very bad killer or you do not know what tunneling is. Tunneling is no requirement to hit ds.

I played a match, and I have never (maybe once ages ago, but not to this degree) seen me hit a survivor with my weapon, heard the scream, seen the survivor's next animation, and then not have the survivor be affected by anything. If this is server validation, this is some seriously wrong implementation.
The important parts are:
4:18
6:42
7:00 (but we know this one already, so it's less important)
7:26
These moments were just filled with "uhh...what just happened"s
I think you suffered from a really really bad connection there, check out at 7:15 you get teleported back the teleporting happens at 7:18 but still oof.

Which took time and sometimes there wasn’t any hooks nearby.
Thats not including the sneaky 35% ones you couldn’t prepare for.
Yes true sometimes that was the case but iirc "enduring" did also affect the stun duration back in the day, at least at some point it did until they changed it to only affect stuns from pallets, however if I remember correctly you basicly knew who had ds due to the obsession status. Downing the obsession meant you will either eat the ds or try to dribble him/her to the nearest hook, you also knew about the 35% for the rest. Today you have to treat every survivor like they have it just because there is an obsession in the game.
Honestly I think DS should be reworked. I mean we all know the obvious flaws of the "just don't tunnel" but there are also other flaws. For example take the effect of using ds against diffrent killers and in my opinion it punishes again the rather "weak" killers more. A michael or any killer for the matter that can be looped with 115% has a bigger punishment than say nurse or spirit. Do not know about others but when I do play any of these 2 killers I am like "you think i give a #########?". The survivor who used ds will be down in a matter of seconds again.
Conclusion -> DS needs to be reworked to be truely anti-tunnel and no longer be possible to troll the killer but also made more meaningfull besides a stun. I know a stun can be horrible for some killers but for others it just isn't enough. So I propose to maybe give the killer a new status effect when being hit by ds which depletes his/her power bar for x amount of seconds in addition to the stun also preventing the refill. So on one side make ds stronger in the anti tunneling, give it restrictions as to how it deactivates by actions from the survivor him/her-self and by the killer meaning downing and hooking another survivor but also make it stronger anti tunnel so that it is clearly the dumbest possible play to tunnel people who use ds. Maybe even make it more clear who has ds. What do you think? This seems to me like there is appropriate counterplay for both.
-
@ClickyClicky said:
We already had that day when it got changed last time.
I can’t help but feel some killers do just want free reign to tunnel when they act like this. DS could be problematic at times but it actually wasn’t that often for me, not like old DS was.
These players that act like DS cripples them every game I’d love to see their playstyle.
old ds could be dribbled.
