  • oh hell yeah this should be top priority

  • I'm trying one last time

does anybody have a clip of this please it is important to me and I will die without it

  • I would be happiest with the J-man because then we have all the really big slashers (Jason, Freddy, Michael, LF, and GF)

of course I think he is one of the least likely options out of these (I think it'll be candyman tbh) but I want Jason so badly

  • Candyman, but please show me evidence of others (primarily Alien/Xenomorph) because I haven't seen too much

  • Prob not, but the change would certainly be welcomed

  • Eh. I rarely see or use them and when I do I just accept it and move on. whatever happens happens.

Not sure if it's a typo but it's 4 seconds. Easily countable nonetheless. But the bubble would still help. Thx for the tip.

Sole Survivor, maybe? I'm not exactly sure how the perk works but does it make your aura impossible to see while in the given radius(20/24m - 60/72m? In that case it would be useful for not being shown when the last other survivor gets hooked.

that would work, if you were within 8 meters and the other two were dead. I'm pretty sure that while being sacrificed it counts them as a health state instead of sacrificed, though I'm not 100% on that. good one tho

  • let's make a list of counters, shall we

    1. Lockers
    2. being within 40m
    3. Off the Record
    4. distortion
    5. hide behind a generators aura
    6. act AFK, then move to trick the killer
    7. walk (or run) in one direction, then head in the other when BBQ ends to trick the killer
    8. use OoO to see the killers aura while BBQ is active to figure out if he's coming to you, then take proper action
    9. use Kindred for the same purpose as what I just said

    anyone got anymore?

  • someone quick make perks

  • no no this is no longer a joke excuse me I want him now

Power: (I don't have a name for this lmao)

he can summon up to 5 zombies at one time which each move at nurses speed and will try to injure survivors. they can not put survivors into the dying state. for each zombie you lose 1% movement speed. you can also spawn 3 creepers which will kill all zombies when spawned. these creepers last 60 seconds before automatically exploding and move at the same speed as zombies when survivors are near a creeper for 5 seconds, it will explode, breaking pallets, breakable walls, and injuring survivors within a 12m radius you lose 2% movement speed for each creeper

Perk 1: (something about his lack of eyes)

your FOV is decreased by 7/5/3 but when a survivor makes a loud noise notification they will have their aura revealed for 3 seconds. does not work if the survivor is in a chase.

    "PLEASE WAKE UP"

    Perk 2: God Complex

one pallet on the map will be cursed for every killed/sacrificed survivor and an extra one for free. these act the same as dream pallets. after being thrown they regenerate in the same spot after 60/30/15 seconds

"Only god can help you now" - Herobrine

Perk 3: (I couldn't even come up with anything Herobrine or minecraft themed, so I threw this stupid thing together)

after the survivors have in total missed 5 skill checks, this perk activates. while active, the next time you put someone into the dying state, every generator (both being worked on and not being worked on) will be blocked by the entity for 15/30/45 seconds

TL;DR: give me herobrine or give me death

  • I do, but I always forget I do

  • ok everyone arguing over if Pennywise is a god or not, but I'd just like to see that source saying it isn't Candyman.

  • I'm bringing this back to the top just please somebody post a clip I need this

  • although I think it's good, it could use a slight buff.

  • face of the game, trap daddy is top of the list

Welcome to DBD home of the infamous tunneling and camping strategies where killers complain about gen speed but don’t want to leave hooks 😂

that wasn't what the post was about friendo.

  • Cough, Cough, ACk, Cough DADDY MYERS AND DADDY TRAPPER, Cough, Cough, oh jeez I think I coughed up blood, Cough

also Nurses mori is kinky and spirit is considered hot by the fanbase despite being a mutilated blue corpse but eh. personally I don't see the need but I mean sure I guess.

  • no Ghosty boy love? :(

other then Ghost papa I gotta choose ~Daddy Myers~

he has so many gimmick builds (more than any other killer I believe) such as scratched mirror, burger king, tombstone w/ hair, and more. honestly he's a very fun boy to play

  • Or, and i'm just spitballing here, once you find out it's a camper, work on gens and leave. if borrowed worked without a TR it be easily exploitable and would allow you to give the other person 15 seconds of invulnerability in EVERY SITUATION and would no longer be about camping. the problem with current BT is that someone could get unhooked directly after being hooked with NO CONSEQUENCE. all the perk needs is a timer of 10-15 seconds before they can gain the effects of borrowed time.

  • now he definitely wouldn't work as a killer because, well, he's a tall boy.

But that map function idea got me thinking. i've seen a request for a creepypasta killer every now and then. uncommon, but a cool idea nonetheless. what if we had a chapter that was full blown creepypasta. I get that it's never going to happen, i'm not saying we need it, but it's an interesting idea. SirenHead in the background, maybe mimicking survivor screams or generator completion noises, Jeff/Jane the killer skins for legion, Maybe herobrine the rake hanging out in the back of a forest map w/ SirenHead, and the head of creepypastas as the killer mr. Slenderman himself. I don't know about a survivor though. the lobby could have subtle references to other popular tales like a dirtied soviet union emblem for the russian sleep experiment, or a dog bowl with a smile on it for smile dog.

in other words: creepypasta chapter would be cool for all the things it could do, but it never will happen for a couple of reasons.

  • if noed has to be "reworked" (which I bet it will be) then so should the survivors' second chance perks. this includes DS. I'd happily trade in NOED for things like DS, Adrenaline, etc. and I main survivor nowadays. and OP offerings/items as well while they're at it. this is mainly Ebony Mori and Key.

And before any of you say that DS or Adrenaline is fine, one of the reasons for the Ruin rework nerf was that it was too passive. last I checked, those 2 are pretty passive.

  • Frederick and Quentin need them the most

  • Scratched mirror myers

fun, but awful if you don't use BF memo. use whatever perks you want and give em a spook 👻

  • I propose this:

keys now take 5 seconds to open hatch and while being opened the audio for an open hatch plays. people can be grabbed out of opening hatch and add-ons could affect speed. this makes it so they can't be seen and be hit by the killer but still just escape because they had a win button for the situation.

Ebony Moris can be used if everyone has been hooked once. this makes it so you can't tunnel and mori them immediately. alternatively, they stay the same BUT the person can only be killed after all 5 gens are done. I'd say the previous is better but I could settle for both

    feedback?

  • if killers have to assume everyone has ds if there's an obsession then survivors should have to assume everyone has NOED.

70 seconds isn't that much time, and using that time on totems while 3 others are doing gens is an alright trade for survivors. if one person goes for totems, the other 3 can work on gens, meaning 2-3 gens will probably pop in the time. you'll be fine. it's not like you'll instantly lose because of a minute and 10 seconds, but you may lose if the killer gets an insta down.

    TL;DR you'll be fine.

  • feedback time (i'm only doing the perks/power, no backstory as it's not my fortè)

to start, the power. The power seems too passive for my tastes (pun definitely intended) and it feels like the killer doesn't need enough effort to execute. this was the reason for the ruin and doctor changes. if I had to do something with the concepts, I'd say that they lose 2% hunger for every 2.5 seconds in a chase and they lose 12% on hit. I'd also make the change that the killer can poison one tables dish at a time. eating from a poisoned dish will have a chance to poison the survivor, applying blindness, temporary damage (they will be injured for the duration of the time poisoned) and the broken status effect for 50 seconds. I can't give the time it takes to poison a dish or the chance to get poisoned until I know how long it takes to eat and how much hunger eating gives.

    "Complete block" seems alright

"blind as a bat" seems like a remember me replacement. personally I'd have something with blindness, which would hide auras and be on theme with the title. maybe every time a generator is completed, every survivor who has been hooked gets the blindness status effect for 60 seconds?

the last one is way too op. 75% pretty much guarantees a hit and takes little to no effort from the killer. I don't have any ideas for names or reworks, but it definitely needs to be changed.

"Come at me" just needs some lower numbers (10% is a lot), but not by too much. just making it 4%/6%/8%

"time to shine" also a very good perk, and is pretty balanced if it makes you get downed healthy or not in exchange for the free health state for the other.

"odds and evens" feels both OP and weak somehow, as with SWF this is incredibly strong, but solo would suffer heavily. to keep it somewhat more aligned I say it should be changed to 8%/6%/4% and 4%/6%/8%

for a map I'd say either the area the gang member got eaten or the woods where Jeremy lived (preferably the former as we have many woods maps already)

one last thing to remember is that I'm an idiot, and you don't have to implement any changes I suggest if you don't like them. it's up to you to decide what's healthy for your concepts.

  • Haunted grounds is a great one shot perk, especially when used with other hexes

Rancor can help guarantee you a kill, and you can see the general location of the other 3 after each gen. amazing.

Spirits fury is also really good, especially with other perks like enduring or brutal

I can see a lot of the other votes as well though

  • GF.

solid killer and hiding the stain helps a lot in loops surprisingly

  • @elvangulley said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1219591#Comment_1219591

Yes because making a slow killer that broadcast her location at all times reload after every throw is fair hell no gens go to fast and survivors have to many second chance crutch perks juke better or deal with it no changes needed

yes, but they get an insta down in exchange for losing the majority of their hatchets. and if you're gonna say "just juke better" i'm gonna tell you to "just pressure better" because both are absurd statements. it's like saying "just get good". your bias is showing heavily.

  • I think it should just not stack with Infantry belt (or the other, I don't know its name tho), as having only 1 hatchet is a huge drawback that fits for the ability. it also means that if they miss, they either need to spend precious time getting another, or they need to M1. that seems fair IMO. whats not fair is getting three of them.

  • to start, they can't just add a killer like chucky, they need to acquire his licence first. currently the licence holders are NBC (more specifically, SYFY) for the classic chucky, who is clearly the one you want.

Second of all, this just seems like a weaker legion. he does the same thing, run fast, stab fast, give deep wounds, etc. but doesn't passively gain his power, and instead has to go find it to activate it. this leaves less time to patrol gens and look for survivors, and he must find it while at (assuming to be) 110%. to add insult to injury, while legion just stabs and they get deep wound, chuckys action presumably takes longer and requires skill checks, making it harder.

third, you really shouldn't give your phone number (or email, for that matter) on here or anywhere public online, you could have strangers randomly calling you now.

lastly, they can't give you a custom skin regardless, as they would need to ask the licence holders (NBC/SYFY) to be allowed to implement a skin, exclusive or not.

  • well then people would just pull the plug to avoid the ban and still DC.

The other two still allow your aura to be seen though. I’m sorry but I’ll have to disagree on the other two options. You’re just not slick in this game unless you’re a blendette on a map that has bushes and dark corners 😂 which is only swamp, yamaoka and dead dawgs.

but they feed misinformation to the killer

    let me explain

it's about whats around you. if you are near a gen or something important like a door, it is best to use a locker so that the killer won't damage the gen or guard that door more heavily, and instead get him after someone else. but, if A: no lockers are around, or B: there isn't anything importent around, you may wanna feed misinformation to the killer by making him go somewhere you aren't actually at, as this can give more time then usual as he will go away from you, giving you the chance to open the door, unhook your amigo, or finish a gen. or whatever else you're doing. maybe you're cleansing DH or NOED, who knows. certainly not the killer, because he thinks you're the opposite direction, or are AFK. you can also judge how long BBQ lasts with the scream of the survivor (while on hook, the survivors scream often lasts the same as BBQ) so not knowing when it ends is no excuse. but, of course, these are just suggestions. you can try them, or don't. doesn't matter to me. see you in the fog.

  • gonna bump this because I wanna see as well

  • what was the thought process behind deathslingers really quiet TR?

Distortion needs a buff. 3 tokens isn’t enough if you’re looking at it from a viable way of countering aura reading perks. It’s more of an informational perk to give you a hint at what the killers using. Lockers aren’t always convenient. Someone’s clearly upset here. It’s not me.

I agree, distortion needs a buff. I never said it was viable, just a strat. and lockers are almost everywhere, but even if your in a dead-zone, use the other 3 counters I gave, 2 of those require nothing to be around and the other require a gen. and yeah, never said you were upset I said you were biased. and yeah i'm upset, but (at least for the start) I did provide actual ways to counter BBQ, and there are probably more. and sorry folks, betting is off, It was neither. no refunds though.

and yeah I showed a bit too much anger in my post, sorry. I should have used a calmer method.

  • nah, head on is fine, it's just latency makes it look worse sometimes

or the hitbox really sucks. potato patato.

  • bruh what? BBQ OP??? How LMAO

    it has so many counters

    1. lockers
    2. gen auras
    3. run in one direction then change directions after
    4. distortion
    5. pretend to go afk then move

like are you FR? and Discordance? don't work on gens together once you know they have it. I've seen you pop up so much on posts ranting about how killer is OP and whatever, and jesus christ are you biased. and I know you're gonna respond with either a paragraph about times you had trouble against killer or something we ALL agree needs a nerf, or a short maybe sentance or 2 statement that doesn't debate and just acts as an excuse to ignore the post. place your bets everyone, which one will they choose? betting starts at 5$ a person.

  • I want Jason, but tbh prob won't come.

If I had to say someone else I'd say springtrap from fnaf 3 because he can be legit scary and has good power potential, despite what people say about the franchise as a whole being too childish because of the negative connotation given to the franchise during the youtube clickbait days from those hopping on to be hip and cool, bringing their kinda toxic vibe with them Pinhead from Hellraiser, he'd be cool.

  • the killer who is apparently terribly amazing to the game because I keep getting R1s even though I'm like a R10 and as such all my games are 3-4 escaped and there's nothing I can do about it. oh, and furious serial killer. that too.

  • @SurviveByDaylight said:

I don’t believe in a DC penalty at all 😂 why should a player pay money for a game that 1) has lag issues still making it unfair to play the game giving the opposing side the advantage

    2) survivor isn’t fun most of the time, killer is. *Repair progress bars, only two buttons used to interact with everything in the game, slugging and Mori’ing. Killers end chases too fast imo with the exception of a few good places to loop. they’re taking those away though. Face camping. List goes on and on. It’s either stare at yourself on the hook or watch a progress bar. Chases aren’t fun with the vast Easy amount of ways to acquire one hit downs. Eh.

    3) oh... bad hitboxes at vaults. Why is it I’m on the other side, taken a few steps and going down still blows my mind 🤷‍♂️

    4) ohhhh. Also, the players that usually DC are the ones that weren’t rewarded enough anyways for playing. We all know killers get rewarded a lot more for playing than survivors do 🤷‍♂️ I think it’s easier to fulfill killer categories than all 4 survivor ones. That might be why. You gotta make it feel worth all of our time here. Mori’s take away from that. As do face camping and tunneling. It’s not fun. These are all viable reasons why someone would DC. Rather than kick people out of the game they should be encouraging them to play and enjoy it more by implementing more enjoyable survivor stuff :)

yeah nobody asked tho? like really, this is someones question, not a discussion on whether or not the DC penalty is good. why'd you try and turn it into this?

as for OP, the guy above me said it pretty well. to simplify: you can from DCing excessively, but it's separate from the DC penalty itself.

  • ok so you stated in earlier replies that this wasn't about loops mr. green rank touchpad using survivor (who I'm sure they're not catering to), so what was it? let's go over all the big changes survivors will complain about.

    1. godloops. I know it's not you but I feel like stating this as well. I'm fine with loops where you have to mindgame, but something like coal tower? what mindgames could I do??? I have 2 options. either A: I give up and they hop on a gen after wasting my precious time, or B: I chase them around this 3 times so that I have a chance to hit them assuming that T-walls or L-walls aren't nearby. THIS IS AN ISSUE.
    2. Gen Co-op speed. for starters, prove thyself was changed to combat this, and it's to prevent a scenario where the killer spawns on one side, the survivors (2 or more) are on the other. by the time I get to their gen even if I went to the right one immediately it would be done before I could do anything about it or at roughly 90-95% already. how balanced. plus it's only a couple second difference
    3. Great skill check boost. This is tiny. you'll live.
    4. Map size. it's by what, 10%? YOU'LL LIVE. and, for the second time now, it's so killers have a chance to reach gens before they pop at the very start. for details on this number 2: Gen Co-op speed.

all in all: you'll live, they aren't outrageous or anything, and have good reasons to be implemented. if you would like to call me a toxic slugger while pointing out how I'm wrong, go ahead. I wanna see how you think this ruins the game.

  • "NOED is OP"

    well

    1. the killer has to play the rest of the match with 3 perks
    2. it can be removed before activating (DO. BONES.)
    3. if they didn't do bones, they are given a second opportunity where they must do 1 specific bone. just one glowing one.
    4. if it "rewards bad play" then you theoretically should be on the first or second hook state, giving others time to do the bone, unhook, and open the door or even hatch if they brought a key
    5. If those still aren't enough, the killer misses out on 300 "hit" bloodpoints, 600 if he has BBQ or a pudding, and if he has those 2 plus a bloodhunt it's 1200 (rare, yes but this is just a "are you seriously not satisfied yet?" reason)

so I make the argument of: no

  • @ItzPixelYT said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1210375#Comment_1210375

I don't mean remove them, just the way they are right now is broken...i'd even settle for maybe requiring 2 survivors hooked for them to be activated. While they look cool, it's boring as hell when i'm queuing for games and dying immediately

yeah in that case I wholeheartedly agree. (and while we're at it can we please give trap daddy and long legs good moris? like FR they are lame)

  • I agree, they need a nerf. but removing them isn't the way to go about this. the devs spent a lot of time animating them and thinking of an idea for one that isn't "slash slash they dead" (except for trapper and wraith) and removing that regards all that time as pointless. I personally think it should be either "after everyone has been hooked once, they can be moried." or "if they've been hooked once they can be moried AFTER all the gens have been completed". that makes them not necessarily unfair, makes endgame builds worth something for once, and even provides some possible downsides to killers (eg, having to decide to hook them again and risk a hook-suicide or let them go complete gens so you can mori them).

  • more of a personal preference, but blood is hard to see and most of the time I can get to the hook within time soooo

  • @Goatman_Jack said:

I’m a killer main myself. But you’re in green ranks and the majority are still in noob level brown and complaining? MAYBE one of them brought their friend or the servers just yanked whoever from whatever rank to get people in games sooner rather than later. Even with one red rank you still had the advantage, especially with an ebony mori. Come on now.

If you were green or yellow and it was a bunch of purples and reds or all reds I’d be more lenient and say yeah that’s pretty bs. And that does happen more often than not unfortunately. But realistically you’re just bitching.

hey bud, they're the R4 survivor.
