I think the main thing is that he can't just walk around and find people
-
for me there's 2 ways to look at it.
- They repeatedly grab the hook itself: "come get me already!"
- they repeatedly raise and lower their hands without grabbing the hook: "Killer is camping, do gens"
-
neato bait
-
clown is needed to get every perk on Billy, and the 2 survivors don't have the best of perks
-
when you said crutch I was worried. good thing it's just perks I always use and not a post calling me trash because I used sloppy or something.
Survivor: Spine Chill or Plunderers.
Killer: BBQ or NOED (yeah it's NOED, sue me)
-
both ebonies and keys need to be looked at, but as it stands we can't really do anything unless the devs listen to the complaints rather than focusing more on other problems.
Keys, despite "needing gens" allows for all 4 survivors to have a chance to escape, especially in an SWF and technically doesn't need gens, as the other 3 can die early and killer closes hatch, which gets nullified because of the key. either way, it can provide a huge advantage that can be easily deemed "unfair".
this doesn't justify Moris either, though. they can easily be used to end a game before the survivors can get many gens done and tunneling only makes it a worse situation than it already is. a good killer can use this to 4k with 3-4 gens remaining, and even a killer who isn't quite as good could still 4k with 1-2 gens remaining. no matter which way you slice it, ebony moris can easily be deemed "unfair".
TL;DR they both need a looking at, as they can both provide powerful advantages to the user.
-
Plunderers. you all complain about how I'm wasting time on a chest but when I get my 3rd purple toolbox IN A ROW we'll see whos laughing (real story)
NOED. must I explain?
-
depends on rank. if you're at a rank where slugging is common, Unbreakable.
however, if it is an uncommon occurrence, I'd say spine chill, especially since GF is kinda in the meta now

Then dont, kid. Its a waste of time dealing with people drunk on arrogance. Just stay on your high horse until your ego becomes too much to sustain so it can fall over.
you're not taking the right approach to this. if someone disagrees you should try to calmly explain your points and your POV on the situation like civilized adults. insulting them directly gets nothing done.
-
lets do this.
the power on the surface seems very strong, and it can be with the right perks, but once they know it's mega totem the survivors will most likely just not cleanse unless necessary (Devour with 3 or 4 stacks for example), meaning from then on he's just an M1 killer. it's never a good idea to have a killer power be solely based on the survivors actions, because then it encourages them not to do that action.
Bones of steel is alright, and has obvious synergy with NOED
I'm Not Obsessed confused me on it's wording (like for T1/2 is it randomised survivors or the first ones you hit), and I think tiers would be better as how much speed they lose on hit.
Hex: Struggling slave seems a bit too weak for a hex, and I think it should just have the first effect normally
Heavy weight seems alright, but maybe it should be 2%/4%/6% or 4%/6%/8% because on killers like nurse or any of the 110% speed ones a -10% is deadly
Hook struggle is good
the 3rd perk with no name is also good
Overall: the killer needs some improving, but the chapter itself is alright
Remember, it's up to you to decide what changes you see fit as your chapter grows. you don't need to take everyones suggestions, and you have the right to keep the chapter as is if you feel that's what is best.

Do you automatically assume that if all 4 people wearing the same costume and bo items in your lobby are 1: A 4 man team, 2: Going to be super toxic. And considering these two do you decide, and keep this in mind, easy question which is my point. Do you say 'yeah, I'll play this game willingly' or do you dodge? My point is, he went in willingly. Nobody forced him to play us. He could have dodged and got a proper game. But no... he decided, yeah, I'll play this game willingly. Why is nobody understanding this xD I've repeated myself several times now. It feels like it's going over heads xD like try consider it from both sides here. Not just killer side. We need open impartialism in here.
lets look at this from the killers perspective first:
a 4 man matching outfit SWF joins your lobby. the killer is thinking "oh shoot, this ones gonna be hard. might wanna pop on those add-ons and that offering so I can stand a chance." and presses ready. Immediately you show him where you are with object. the killer thinks "ah crap, object. this is gonna suck." comes over since its the only lead he's got, and sees you guys conga lining. he thinks "I brought 3 ultra rare items that will be lost at the end for this BS that I never wanted to happen? just my luck. let's get out of here already." and kills you guys because he just wanted to leave the game and play normally.
Now your perspective:
you guys join the lobby and get ready to do some BS for some laughs. the game loads and you use object to get the killer over. you show him your shenanigans and he kills you. games over. you, mad he didn't conform to your BS, go on the forums and rant about it. the people here disagree that he was toxic, and you try to defend yourself with the points "He didn't have to play that match" and "but we didn't bring items." which both fall apart quickly. your first point is essentially blaming him for not being able to read your mind, and the second one has no relevance to the story. so e survivors just don't want to bring items is probably what he thought.
after all that:
Blaming him for not playing along is complete and utter nonsense, and calling the KILLER toxic for doing his job of KILLING you is what led to downfall, as that is simply absurd. Would the defendant would like to make their closing statements?
-
Sometimes it's a mistake, and they miss the button once
other times it's because they just have to go do something and that's the fastest way to get out of the game
and the last group is just them being a t o x i c survivor
-
I think that overall, it's improved the situation. yeah, theres still hook suicides, but that benefits both parties more than DCs. the killer gets emblem points and bloodpoints, and the survivors get a little bit more time.

I'm not gonna comment on the actual idea, but be prepared to be hit with a bunch of hate because people are apparently repulsed by the idea. and I swear I've seen that first perk somewhere.
-
tbh I try to avoid red
-
everyone saying spirit but ya'll have to remember when she was taken she was falling out of a window with many cuts, so she'd be dead by then and wouldn't get her revenge on her dad.
anyways, for killer I'd say wraith. his backstory makes me think that he was just a normal dude who was in some poor circumstances. he had no reason for the entity to make him a killer. other than that, legion (susie specifically) because they're young and could still learn and correct themselves.
for a survivor, Bill. hasn't he been through enough already? in between wars, zombie apocalypses, and death, I think it's time he gets some rest. granted, that rest is permanent, but still. not counting licenced, Jake. dude seems like a chill guy, and honestly I really don't like reading about how his mother was really sad afterwards, it makes me tear up even if it's not the worst out there. something about parents losing their children gets me everytime.
-
Toolboxes (even on their own) are now geared towards popping an initial gen quicker, rather than help pop 2 or 3 gens quicker. they are still a powerful tool and when used effectively could help turn a game going poorly into a great turn around.
are you trying to say spending like a minute on hooks for a chance at a save was better than this? this buffed sabo so much, to the point where it's sorta viable. it no longer takes too much time off gens and it instead has a higher chance of working, since it doesn't matter what hook they go to, you can sabo without having to hope it's 99'd.

outdoor maps are generally more balanced, although as a GF main an indoor map would be bomb

Survivor

You are always up to the task at hand, no matter what.
Gain a 4%/5%/6% increase to generator repair speed if you would be automatically sacrificed next time you get hooked.

the only reason i'll be a tOxIc TuNnEleR is if they get unhooked, and I go there because I don't have any clue where anyone else is, and they're still there, alone. if they're healing I go for the unhooker, but if I come back and they're right there, they get smacked
-
well, when it comes onto the last gen, I hooked someone else after they got unhooked (they were healthy and it wasn't a grab), and I yoink the unhooked off a gen right as it's about to finish, saving me from utter failure, and then get hit and am forced to watch as it gets finished, imma be mad cause thats straight up unfair. it shouldn't just give 60 seconds of no touch. it should be if another is hooked or you start working on a gen for 3 seconds, it deactivates. however, if you get downed while it's active it can not deactivate. there, a rework.
-
TBH killer is mostly to ease grind for me. other than that, pipping. it's like 4 BBQ stacks or Pipping is like a 3k, and both is like a 4k
-
Closest to my answer
I think it should be reworked again (oof) so that it's not terrible but doesn't have the issues with old ruin. maybe it slows gens down #%/#%/#% either passively or per hit. that way, a new player and a vet can work on a gen together without the new player messing it up, and without the whole skillcheck issue, but it can still be poofed away if the problems too. much for the survivors. however, I'm a stinky baby when it comes to making perks so it probably has some glaring issue i'm unaware of.
-
you have 3 perks the entire game, in exchange for a powerful ability that may not activate if they do bone. plus, if they didn't do any they can get rid of it by cleansing 1/5 of bones normally

A key doesn’t let everyone escape without doing the work first. So you’re wrong 😂 doing all gens allows you to get all 4 through hatch. If you want to avoid doing 1 of 3 gens that are probably getting patrolled to the point you can’t do them then at least one person has to die lol so really key is For end game. Ebony Mori’s aren’t end game. That’s An early game KO and Most likely that player didn’t get much play time. It’s just not that serious . I’ve seen people do map control without Mori just fine. So imo it’s not necessary. It’s for lazy killers 😂 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Or people that haven’t quite gotten good like they want survivors to be.
ok so sorry for the misunderstanding\, I understand work needs to be done, I meant it as the person with the key doesn't need to put in any effort.
and it's the survivors fault if you guys get 3 gened. a killer can try to influence it, but the ultimate decision is made by the ignorance of the survivors. even then, if you do get 3 gened, the best at looping could run the dude around so the others can get the gens and door done/open.
and yes, there are people who can patrol maps easily, but when you're playing clown for a daily or achievement and get something like red woods, you're gonna have trouble with pressuring gens and survivors.

TYSM for responding. I have tweaked the power of the Manikin and hopefully it doesn’t seem OP.
The first power - I have made it so that survivors can hear a creepy crawling noise when the Manikin is travelling through a painted.
Power no.2 - I have made it so that there are manikins at every generator and exit gate. (2 or more) so that it may be a bit easier for the manikin to blend in with the others. 😂
Power no.3 - I have taken your idea of making it 7 manikins that can be placed in a locker.
I have changed Kicked and Injured and Exhausted Chase (I was a bit puzzled as to what I should do with Exhausted Chase) 😂
I have also changed Toxic Stuns completely. Hopefully this can counter the Nightmares perk (Fire Up. I think...) 😂
Again. TYSM more replying!
alright I checked out the changes, they seem pretty good!
I like toxic stuns new design, it can help a lot in certain builds
the power changes improve the power a lot and make the killer very well balanced
Kicked and Injured seems a lot more balanced now and Exhausted chase is very interesting with the obsession not affecting Dead Hard
overall, very good changes, TYSM for considering and implementing them!
-
This is a quality perk design. well done, I would actually use this.

I don’t think keys do. They’re not the same as Mori. Keys still require all survivors to do their objectives whereas killers don’t have to. They just need to get somebody hooked once which is an easy KO. For a game that’s all about killer - survivor interactions (what makes the game fun) don’t make it so people can’t play it after just one interaction with the killer 😂 gen speed just got hit via toolbox nerf. I don’t think gen speed still needs a hit because nobody wants to stare at a PROGRESS bar for an hour. Sorry, I don’t find that fun either playing the game. And you know I have a point there. As much as I want to agree killer can get ran on with gens, so can survivors. It goes both ways. But honestly doing gens is kind of a chore. And I don’t want to stare at myself on a Gen longer
ok lets look at the 2
Mori (specifically an ebony)
- require one hook, which can cost a gen or 2 if you're not really good
- you must find and down the person again
by this time, well over 3 gens have probably been completed, even if you tunneled off first hook (which makes the others most likely unable to be moried)
Key (specifically a dull or skeleton)
- requires you to hold m1/r1/whatever for 80 seconds normally, but is prob faster thanks to toolboxes, co-op interactions, and perks a total of 5 times among 4 of you (not even because if one dies it takes one less)
- get lucky and find hatch
so you need to complete one of the easiest actions in the game and get lucky. the killer has to find, down, and hook somebody, which can certainly be difficult if they're good at looping or abuse an infinite, basically twice.
some additional notes
- a key lets EVERYONE escape from what one person brought even if they didn't do anything, while a mori requires the process for every survivor
- keys can just be found in chests, resulting in the killer having no idea if a key is in play or not, while moris are pretty obvious on the offering screen and can't be found mid-game
- keys are instant, moris spend precious time
- even if the killer closes hatch after a key, all remaining gens are auto completed
- the survivors know where the killer is during the mori thanks to the downed survivors aura. killers just get told "hatch opened, someone left" with no indication where
- keys can negate the killer shutting hatch, meaning that after the killer closes hatch, you can still use hatch.
so yeah, keys are pretty powerful, and need a look at along with moris.
-
I'd use it for the auras only or the BP only, i'm not picky
-
the killer payed for the game too. maybe if you're upset over Mikey or GF, try looking around you occasionally to not get stalked as much. Ebonys do need to be altered along with keys though, i'll give you that
-
Shape. When he gets T3 and starts chasing I get scared. plus, when you turn to find him stalking you is terrifying.

Is this a discord representation?
what?
-
nerf to when open and have it go 120%/100%/80% for tiers, and maybe. we would need PTB testing first tho.
-
new to the game or just want to ruin someones day for camp
because they know that if they go for the person who unhooker that meg, the meg will heal and you will be unable to catch her ever again for tunnel. I've been in that scenario. there's no way to win even if you do tunnel.
-
moris I agree
Keys also
Do Bones. NOED punishes survivors as a team (what they should be acting as) for not completing secondary objectives, and even then its still a hex, so if your team couldn't do bones, just cleanse the one glowy one and poof its gone. if noed gets nerfed because its a crutch, than nerf DS too because that sure is a crutch. what's that, you got unhooked? have 60 seconds of the killer being unable to touch you, even if 2 others got hooked (true story, sorry I tunneled 3 people at once), without punishment. go work on a gen in their face, cleanse those bones, or heal. it doesn't matter, its a free 60 seconds of near immunity.
-
- seems like a replacement dead hard tbh
- decent idea, though the tiers should be 30/40/50 instead of what I presume to be 40/50/60
-
OK I'll go over the new content. this means the power and perks' functions. I won't go over backstory, the killer itself, or the names of anything. I also can't cover the map, for obvious reasons.
The killer power overall seems a bit weak, however the paintings seem a little too strong. If you want to keep them, I'd recommend it having a tell, like freddy. maybe the manikin is normal at first, but jumps out when being teleported to. as for the rest of the power, the become a manikin thing is easily counterable, as survivors will learn to avoid all of them just in case, and the locker power should be able to affect 7-10 at a time, rather than 4. I'd suggest 7 or 8.
the perks.
Injured and kicked maybe should have tiers of 6/8/10 as 12 is a lot. it also should either have a lengthy cooldown or it should make them scream, otherwise it'd be broken.
Exhausted chase is a decent idea, I like how it's made to target sprint burst users from zooming once ya get close, and has other uses as well, although this would essentially remove dead hard, so that should be kept in mind.
Hex: abilities controlled is one i'm not too sure about. On paper it sounds aight, but we may need to see how that works before any final judgement is made
Toxic stuns is unique, though I'm not sure about it because of endurings popularity, people may not want to use it because enduring would cancel it out
I like Hide your tracks, and It has some good synergy with perks like Quick and Quiet or Head On.
Percentage cleanse is aight. I like the adding incentive to cleanse away NOED.
-
aight here we go
HATE
- Legion. THE DAMN MEND IS SO ANNOYING
- Plague. killer iself is fine, but my teammates always cleanse, and i'm here, broken, about to get hot sauce shoved down my throat courtesy of rank 20 meg and vommy mommy
- Hillbilly. nothings getting done this game with him zooming around.
- Wraith. I can't see anything, so he's always on my a s s
DISLIKE
- Pig. so sloooooow. I get that's her powers point, but when in a solo, nobody ever stop on gens so as soon as it's on, it may as well be activated.
- Doctor. The skill checks always somehow catch me off guard. especially the reverse ones.
- Oni. it's either a slug fest or a baby every time
- Trapper. I am a trap magnet, and all the loops around always seem to have a bear trap there
DON'T CARE
- Hag. Traps don't mean much when you can crouch by the hooked survivor
- Demogorgon. nobody ever uses his portals, and his shred is just extend-o-lunge
- Ghost Face. if you see him, his power gone. loop him if exposed. I always stay by powerful loops once I learn its a GF
- Deathslinger. His Gun isn't that powerful if you repeatedly swerve.
- Cannibal. What's there to talk about?
- Huntress. hatchets are interesting, but I never see their range used well. it's always miss if far, hit if within the range to lunge. they only get used at unsafe pallets when the killer is a lazy
- Clown. not enough data to settle this one.
- Nurse. I'm not at red ranks, so I never get them. when I do, they probably are just doing a daily or achievement
LIKE
- Daddy Myers. A good Myers can make great use of his power and be actually scary while in T3,
- Spirit. I have a gambling addiction, so loops are fun.
- Nightmare. it's fun trying to play around his traps or guess which pallet is fake.
boom theres my list now please let my family go
-
biased poll is biased
If you DC because you don't like the circumstances, You should get punished. you ruined 4 peoples fun, that's bad.
If you DC for an emergency, go deal with the emergency. by the time you get back, the penalty is probably gone.
If you DC from internet stuff, it's not the end of the world. it starts low, go read a book or something. watch youtube, scroll reddit, IDC what, just wait it out
If you DC from internet stuff often, you need to get that checked out. if your internet is constantly like this, don't play a game like dbd where people can't just fill in for you like in COD or Overwatch.
there are other people in this match that paid for the game as well, let them enjoy it.
-
Dwight: the guy who tries to take a stand, and fails miserably.
Meg: the athlete who lasts a bit, but gets caught off guard and does a die
Claudette: the nerd who lasts a while but ultimately dies near the end
Jake: the sensible guy who dies early on because the writers didn't want his character to triumph, but didn't want him to change halfway through
Nea: lets be honest dude she on lots of weed
Ace: he's the cocky guy who dies from his cockiness
Feng: honestly not sure
David: the Jock. similar to the athlete, but instead of running away he tries to punch a dude with a weapon
Kate: final girl. she looks the part, and could certainly hold her own
Adam: another nerd but mostly there to die at the start because someone has to.
Jeff: the hippie. looks like one, and is real into art, which is quite the stereotype.
Jane: the one who told everyone to go to the haunted lake for her news story or blog or whatever
Yui: there for the female empowerment thing so they don't get attacked on twitter.
Zarnia: could be a side character like a friend of Jane or the stand in for the sequel because they need a sequel
And I'll do three killers too, why not
Trapper: standard slasher. for when ya need a quick buck, but don't wanna put effort in the killer so you draw a mask, give him a machete like weapon, and make him kill some teens.
Hag: the monster thats more like an animal than a murderer, and is revealed to be a species at the end. like the Leprechaun origins Lep.
Spirit: the ghost that was awakened by the survivors and who wants to kill because of revenge. or in other words, The Grudge.

killer add ons and offerings are so much better than survivors. Brand new part isn’t good enough to be equal to say the ebony Mori or most of the add ons of killers that give them even more of an unfair advantage on survivors. Brand new part still requires you to work hard for those boosts 😂 while killers just have to down hook tunnel Mori people? Nonsense. That’s too easy for killer. Killers gotta find people and they’re already good at that based on what abilities and perks they’re already given. So why can’t survivors keep their already not as useful add ons if they escape? Is it that serious to treat them the same as killer add ons? Killer ad ons are way more powerful.
it's not fair to compare an add-on to an offering. we both lost those in the past anyway. and brand new part can do 25% of a gen in 5 seconds, and don't tell me you have to work for them, it's 2 skill checks, and even if you miss them you still got 15% of on the gen. besides, it was consumed on use before the patch, so you wouldn't keep it anyway. and even if you want to say that killer add-ons are better, remember its a 4v1. if 4 people bring the same decent add-on, it can have much more of an impact than a killers. in total, the survivor team can bring up to 8 add-ons, vs a killers 2. on their own it makes sense a killers add-on is more powerful, but 4 of a survivors can easily overwhelm a killer. a team with 4 brand new parts can bring a shroud of binding to all spawn together and finish a gen in 5 seconds, and even if the gens a 3 man gen its still 75% of a gen in 5 seconds, and then you got 3 people on the gen still.
-
I'm gonna regard each one on their own
Undertale - Undertale is a game far separated from horror, with very few spooky bits. plus it's gained the title of "######### even is the fanbase holy hell" so nobody's gonna want 5 year old timmy playing as sans anytime soon. honestly, undertale would never fit, and having full blown children in the game is an obvious no-no
Bendy - Bendy had a large stroke of popularity for 2 weeks, then another for 1 week, and now it's kinda dead. this one is accilable, but not desirable, as map would be way too small, and there's no survivors in sight, so it'd have to be a paragraph. although it may lack a lot, its still aight, even if not the best.
FNAF - people have talked about this alot, but our community seems to think "no because Fnaf fans bad" which would be fair if it were still true. at this point, since the youtube clickbait hype has gone down, most toxic people left, leaving it as a somewhat popular game franchise with an ok fanbase. the problem arises in tone. most of the animatronics look goofy as hell. only really one would fit, and that's springtrap. most people know fnaf for freddy, and springtrap is nearly non-existent outside the fanbase. so I'd have to say it's certainly plausible (more than bendy) although unfortunately unlikely.
-
bait. FALSE ALARM EVERYONE, IT'S BAIT! DON'T FUEL WITH COMMENTS
-
Kratos is from the god of war series, which is a Playstation exclusive, meaning xbox, PC, switch, mobile, etc. would all miss out. plus, he's not horror in the slightest, so he wouldn't fit the tone well.
