It's pretty ironic considering BHVR had to change 'Entity Displeased' to "The Entity Hungers" because people were taking that as a slight against them for doing ""badly"" as Killer

Darn, I think I actually was in favor of that change. hahaha

I'm not entirely sure what to tell you here.

You, yourself linked the patch notes in this very thread.

Someone else already linked you the exact statement from those very patch notes that survivors would be both flagged for "throwing", and that the penalty for that gives "disconnection points".

Those same patch notes also clarify what disconnection points mean.

The video pops up a window at the end of the match, which is new with this patch, warning that the gameplay was "flagged for being unusual".

Those are the facts, and you seem to not be putting the pieces together to understand that this is the system working, and doing what they said it would do.

You appear to be dying on this hill of "but I didn't see the 5 minute timeout", which is where I think most of us are saying that level of skepticism is unhealthy.

The system is demonstrably working, it is flagging people for "throwing" (right or wrong), and you seem overly concerned that somehow the disconnection priority system is, I dunno, bugged and not giving timeouts? or something?

That's a stretch. And why we're all saying this seems like an unhealthy level of skepticism for this issue.

(I've also not seen any reports of "people are disconnecting every match, is the dc penalty broken?" Which I would also expect if the system was failing in this way.)

We are talking about before I re-read the patch notes. How can I have correct information when I don't remember it?
You seem to completely ignore that I told you I didn't know that when I said that and believe I knew it anyway for some reason.

How do I put together facts I didnt know? Im not a time traveler you know.

You appear to be dying on this hill of "but I didn't see the 5 minute timeout", which is where I think most of us are saying that level of skepticism is unhealthy.

I'm really not, I simply asked if they had a source for it and nobody had, until Hex_Ignored dug up the patch notes.
And now we have been discussing that and Ive been answering questions about my beliefs and how I reason for idk 3 hours-

  • I contacted the moderators. BHVR's rationale is much more simple, once they realized the Go Next System was targeting tunnel'ed survivors they just had to Killswitch it.

Its as simple as confirmed false-positives.

It's like Ampersand already said: there's healthy skepticism and unhealthy skepticism. This is the oddest hill for you to plant your flag down on to defend with such misplaced energy.

You don't seem to know what Burden of Proof is

I know what burden of proof is. You seem to think it's up to everyone else, after proof has been shown to BHVR that the system is false banning people, to prove to you that your claim is incorrect. That's not how the burden of proof works.

If its because I blurted that line about: "cooked up by the dbd community," ??? because you do seem to fixate on it.

I'm simply trying to find out the reason as to why you think everyone is intentionally lying to you.

To me it doesn't matter if one person or a 1000 make a claim, same procedure for me. I dont go:

"Oh well you reached the threshold for 777 people, now I don't need to ask you for evidence anymore."

You are missing the point. Those 777 people made the claim, and BHVR took action because they saw evidence to corroborate those claims. There are at least 10+ threads that exist on the forums in the past 2 days where people are showing the system working erroneously before the system took action on them. The burden of proof is not on me to disprove your claim of it not happening when it has already been proven.

You call it a moral grandstand, I just told you why I asked. I did not claim that anyone was making a false claim, you cant pin it on me. Also I did read the patch notes, I just don't remember every detail from it. Sorry. I don't have perfect memory.

If you aren't claiming anyone is making a false claim, then why do you not take all these people for their word? Like people have said before, why be unnecessarily skeptical when there is legitimately nothing to gain from saying "I've been falsely banned by the system?" If you're receiving conflicting information, I would assume the first logical step would be to double check the patch notes which describe the new system just in case information was forgotten or overlooked.

Because it produces false-positives. I already agreed this was the case. So ofc they would disable a system that confuses.

They wouldn't disable a system that only confuses. They keep erroneous perk descriptions, killer descriptions, etc. in the game until the next patch cycle to fix them. If this system did not have the ability to ban people, they would have issued a message in game, like they did when they announced the hotfix for pc, saying to not take the message seriously and that it will be fixed in the next patch.

I cannot connect the dots for you, I'm sorry.

It's like Ampersand already said: there's healthy skepticism and unhealthy skepticism. This is the oddest hill for you to plant your flag down on to defend with such misplaced energy.

I already responded to Ampersand, they are wrong. What they say I could have reasoned, they have not said what I should have reasoned it from. I am also sorry, you think this is "a hill im planting my flag on" im simply answering your questions honestly, but my guess is you really have it in your head that I think everyone is lying and out to get me, I don't.

I know what burden of proof is. You seem to think it's up to everyone else, after proof has been shown to BHVR that the system is false banning people, to prove to you that your claim is incorrect. That's not how the burden of proof works.

Burden of proof is on who makes a claim, I commented about the video and Hex_Ignored and CrypticGirl said I should take heed because it would eventually lead to bans, so I asked them to provide a source, they did not provide that at first.

Burden of Proof is not pretend someone made a claim and then press them for evidence. You dont understand it.

I'm simply trying to find out the reason as to why you think everyone is intentionally lying to you.

I literally don't believe this, I have stated this to you so many times now. Why do you keep pushing it?

You are missing the point. Those 777 people made the claim, and BHVR took action because they saw evidence to corroborate those claims. There are at least 10+ threads that exist on the forums in the past 2 days where people are showing the system working erroneously before the system took action on them. The burden of proof is not on me to disprove your claim of it not happening when it has already been proven

Sure, but I don't have the evidence or the reasons BHVR has. I don't know if they did it because of the bans, the de-grades or DC penalties. Ill grant you they had a reason, but they dont tell us why exactly. That is besides the point, if a million people told me to jump off a bridge, I would still not do it. Numbers has nothing to do with this, only evidence.

If you aren't claiming anyone is making a false claim, then why do you not take all these people for their word? Like people have said before, why be unnecessarily skeptical when there is legitimately nothing to gain from saying "I've been falsely banned by the system?"

I don't see why would I take anyone for their word and I don't think its unnecessary to just ask where they know things from.
I already argued the many benefits of doing so

I would assume the first logical step would be to double check the patch notes which describe the new system just in case information was forgotten or overlooked.

Not if I already believed I had read the patch notes.

The system also de-grades maybe that is the reason.

Hey there folks. Both in this thread and across the others that have popped up over the last few days, we've appreciated reading your thoughts and ideas regarding the AFK Crows feature, and want to thank everyone who took the time to share their gameplay - both in text and video! It's been very helpful to see your experiences with these AFK penalties while playing the game normally.

Our design team have looked at the information carefully and they do see that this system is a bit too aggressive. Hotfix 1, which is planned for Thursday of next week, will have a few adjustments to the timings that drive this feature so that the Crows do not appear during the course of normal gameplay. This will include:

-We are extending the Grace Period before AFK points begin accumulating

-We are extending the interval and rate points accrue and decay

-We're slowing down the speed you get AFK points while moving and after the Exit Gates have been powered

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback and experiences with this feature! We really value it and, at the end of the day, we want to make sure you have a blast with this game we all love.

    Great news.

Was the DC Penalty from Go Next Prevention designed the same way as if you would have DC'ed normally meaning repeated Go Next Preventions have or would have banned people from the game potentially?

We are talking about dead by daylight, a video game. You're approaching this like some groundbreaking scientific discovery just disproved gravity and you're performing the scientific method to verify it. My understanding of your own words based on this conversation is that you believe that this DC penalty issue was "cooked up by the dbd community," essentially calling them bad faith liars, so you want proof because you believe 100+ people and a now disabled system are all lying to you. It would be one thing if it was one or two people who are claiming this because then I'd understand, but in reality it's been a significant amount of the community and BHVR has already taken action and disabled the system. So I go back to my original point: do you sincerely think that all these people are lying to you? What would they get out of that?

Do not morally grandstand about media literacy when you didn't even read the patch notes before coming here begging for sources. Someone with such ostensible high media literacy should have instinctively done that before even entering this thread putting the burden of proof of your claim that this ubiquitous false flagging problem isn't happening on everyone else.

We are talking about dead by daylight, a video game. You're approaching this like some groundbreaking scientific discovery just disproved gravity and you're performing the scientific method to verify it.

It isnt the "scientific method" to be just the slightest bit skeptical of what you hear online, Science has even more requirements.
Why would I not be skeptical about what people are saying about a Videogame too?

My understanding of your own words based on this conversation is that you believe that this DC penalty issue was "cooked up by the dbd community," essentially calling them bad faith liars, so you want proof because you believe 100+ people and a now disabled system are all lying to you.

You don't seem to know what Burden of Proof is and why its important to have that proof, I explained it to you very thoroughly I might add why its beneficial to verify what you hear. Even if you find Dead by Daylight unimportant, and would believe whatever you hear about it, I'd rather not so its my choice like I said to sift through these claims. You do you.

I also explained very thoroughly that asking for evidence isn't about calling someone a liar, its like you didn't want to believe me when I honestly said I dont assume they lie, they could be, but I dont think they do. If its because I blurted that line about: "cooked up by the dbd community," ??? because you do seem to fixate on it.

So I go back to my original point: do you sincerely think that all these people are lying to you?
What would they get out of that?

No, I don't believe that, but that doesn't change that I want to approach skeptically to it.

Because it produces false-positives. I already agreed this was the case. So ofc they would disable a system that confuses.

There's healthy skepticism, then there's unhealthy.

You've been given video of the system flagging a game for "go next", and the system is designed to give a warning, then penalties for additional offences. You're looking at the first step and being skeptical that the system is taking the next step and timing people out.

That's just how the system functions.

Unhealthy skepticism is taking things too far and not making the actual connections with the data you have.

But I didn't have the data to conclude that, I had no proof the system would do a DC Penalty.
You may have forgotten that Hex_Ignored gave me the correct information, I was not under the impression that the system could take the next step. I had no data to assume there even was a next step, but even so I did ask for it so that isn't unhealthy skepticism. I only thought there was a warning, because of all things that was the one we could see.

How do you reason that I could reason that the Go Next Prevention was tied to the DC Penalties if I never saw a DC Penalty.
Literally didn't see the first step as a step, then how can I see it as a step. It doesn't make sense my friend.

  • YES, I have been asking for BHVR to do with the loading in tips that are on the Loading Screen. A HIGHLY REQUESTED FEATURE. and we know, we all know this game needs to be future proof.

So there wont be a question how to play vs Singularity when we have 60 Killers.

I dont think you are lying or in a conspiracy, you probably just don't care about having evidence for your beliefs, so you saw videos about it and assumed what you heard was correct. You are certainly unskeptical and you SHOULD be concerned about the lack of evidence being provided here.

Why do that? Well, the DBD community cooks up falsehoods regularly, humans being humans, so it comes in handy to question where people get the information they say to me from.

Which is it? Either you just want the source or you want the source because the dbd community often lies. I ask again, which is it?

Thing just is people rarely provide a source for their claims.

That's because when people share their experiences, often times they don't have receipts on everything that happens to them in their life. Not everyone is screen recording every second they're on their computer or console, nor would they feel that the onus is on them to screenshot a ban warning or actual issued ban to share it with the world so that people who are too concerned with "dbd community drama" can say with 100% certainty that it's happening, instead of trusting the hundreds of people and a major content creator when they claim it's happening to them.

Which is it? Either you just want the source or you want the source because the dbd community often lies. I ask again, which is it?

Both, Its not either or. Wanting a source for has many benefits, It helps them judge whether the claim is based on solid evidence or just opinion. I want the source because I care about knowing how someone knows something not because I assume people lie, but because humans can be mistaken, biased, or misinformed (even without meaning to).

It’s not necessarily about accusing anyone of lying, though its very beneficial to do that. Its about making sure a claim is grounded in reliable evidence rather than just trusting words & opinion alone. My goal is to be the least mistaken, biased or misinformed person I can be and not about just avoiding "community drama".

If you dont understand me, I don't expect everyone to and we should not get off topic, Try researching these keywords on Wikipedia: Skepticism, Empiricism, Epistemology, Critical thinking, Burden of proof.

Fascinating stuff really re-shapes your brain and approach to Information.

Thank you for issuing a correction for my obvious tongue in cheek joke. Some people might have taken it seriously.

I am surprised that you took the patch notes for their word. Did you know that software doesn't always behave how the patch notes say it should? I thought you might have held onto the argument that there's still no evidence because of that.

The reason for why I did take the patch notes for what they said, was because that was from the people who made the game.
Even if the system was malfunctioning that would be a separate issue and that would not make what you say or what others say is happening true, I mean no offence ofc. Thing just is people rarely provide a source for their claims.

But I should have checked the patch notes, instead I watched the video because people kept saying, "oh its in the video, its in the video" and the video just shows a warning that is all. Even searching on reddit, have not seen a single video of a DC penalty or a ban being issued. We can enjoy the benefit of hindsight now ofc.

But It did not help when you told me I was not engaging with the data and I watched the video 4 times.

and to be clear, When I ask for evidence it does not mean I'm saying it does not happen or it cant happen. I am merely asking for evidence, because that is what evidence-based empirical attitude requires. Its about showing how you know something, like the match teacher asked you to do, but for beliefs, truth and claims.

Why do that? Well, the DBD community cooks up falsehoods regularly, humans being humans, so it comes in handy to question where people get the information they say to me from. It really isn't a pedantic debate-tactic as you described it as, just asking where you got it.

    Anyway, Good luck out there.

  • @Valuetown said:

Sorry there's no video evidence so the patch notes must be lying. 🤷‍♀️

Correction: The patch notes does indeed state that it CAN do a DC penalty, but the video in question does not show that.

I see what you're doing by trying to muddle the conversation with pedantics. Let me phrase it to you like this: do you think BHVR would have disabled the AFK system yesterday if there wasn't a MASSIVE problem with it because it was falsely banning players? Or are we just making everything up and you caught us in a massive lie because you deigned to ask for a source?

BHVR disabled the system because there were reports of false positives and they are investigating them, I have not disputed that.

The point is, there are reports of people getting banned or DC penalized too, but nobody has been able to provide proof of this.
BHVR has yet to admit that the system is able to ban and DC penalize players, we dont even know if the system is capable of this. Why? Because you have no proof for it, yet.

I dont think you are lying or in a conspiracy, you probably just don't care about having evidence for your beliefs, so you saw videos about it and assumed what you heard was correct. You are certainly unskeptical and you SHOULD be concerned about the lack of evidence being provided here.

    You mean this Video? https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1lfj0xq/video_of_all_4_survivors_being_defeated_causing/

Sure and would you like to show me when in that video the DC Penalty shows up on screen to prove all of this?
I watched this video three times, and I watched his VOD on Youtube, there was no DC penalty when he came back to lobby.

So where is it? Im literally engaging with the Data!

  • @Valuetown said:

There's a difference between asking for a source to validate suspicious info versus asking for a source because you have no other counter argument.

Any false positive for a system that automatically serves out punishments is a complete and utter failure, no questions asked. Could you imagine a system where a killer would get a matchmaking penalty potentially added to their account if they haven't hooked a survivor in 2 minutes?

At least in that scenario you would have evidence and video footage of the penalty, Trust me bro I want you to be right, I want to see the bad stuff happen. But we need video evidence of it.

  • @Hex_Ignored said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3947060#Comment_3947060

But the evidence that the system is too lenient and produces false positives is right here. A warning will turn into a dc penalty if the system gives them another flag and as we've seen in the clip, the system isn't sophisticated enough to differentiate inexperienced new players and throwers.

A warning will turn into a dc penalty if the system gives them another flag and as we've seen in the clip,

Link me that and give me the timestamp, as far as I saw I didnt see any DC penalty in that clip nor have I in any other.
Which is why Im asking for it.

  • @Hex_Ignored said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3947052#Comment_3947052

Eventually, this could happen with the new system. New players don't understand the intricacies of the game and are the most vulnerable group to hard tunnelling, which the system flags as giving up.

The fact that they have to fear the threat of getting put into a timeout for losing is probably not going to convince those encountering it to stick around, especially since many might not even understand what they did wrong.

People were getting DC penalties for dying quickly, even if they tried their best and didn't intentionally try to throw. It was just a horrible match that was over in three minutes, and this streamer got hit with a DC penalty. That is simply unfair and the reason why the penalty was killswitched.

Well the streamer in question didnt get any DC penalty on his VOD, Do you guys have a source for were you saw this?

EDIT: YEAH YEAH, Just vote me down for asking for a source. But you should care about evidence-based reasoning!

At least to my knowledge, dark souls doesn't lock you out of the game for failing. It simply tells you that you lost but you can try again immediately.

The new go next system adds insult to injury by not only telling you that you lost but also by preventing you from playing the game at all.

Was Dawko locked out of the game???

While the "Anti-AFK/Anti-hiding system does affect newcomers even more than regular players (and pushes people to abandon varying playstyles in favor of sticking themselves to gens and simply always running between the nearest gens even during Oni's Rage or if Devour Hope has just revealed itself) the particular video you brought isn't really the crow system being in play, it's the (now killswitched for this exact reason) Anti-go-next system which, due to massively unoptimal plays by a bunch of beginners and being killed quickly, flagged them as having tried to purposefully go next and were hit with a penalty.

No game should ever have a system that not only kills variety but also actively punishes players for playing unoptimally.

As for the "BHVR saying people crow'ed are lying" part, while I don't recall any mods or devs using those exact words on any social platform, despite dozens of people here (likely hundreds if we include other platforms outside of the DBD forum) telling their experience of receiving undeserved crows (and a single crow is enough to remove all possibility of hiding in a rather big radius) despite playing the game and not being afk, BHVR odten responded with a variant of "video evidence of the crows + several minutes before the crows or else there's no telling when/if action will be taken", which can be understood as "despite the countless people saying so, relating their experience and/or their friends' experience, and a handful of videos out there, we can't take action on your feedback in short order with mostly words to support it.".

While it's a stretch, some people could easily take the repeated demand of video evidence over "vocal" feedback as a lack of trust.

No game should ever have a system that not only kills variety but also actively punishes players for playing unoptimally.

Should a game ever have a system that punishes players for playing Faulty then??? Ever played Dark Souls?

    • No, sorry, the problem here is not "game over", the guy was being ironic saying "gg, the worst match of my life"... the problem is the ban/penalty, it's definitely different. On fortnite (example) you can die within seconds of landing, it's game over, not ban/penalty🤣

Do you also blame the game and system, if you lose your souls in Dark Souls?
Its the System that is bad, not you who is bad at the game? am I understanding your POV here?

  • Not at all, in fact we were THRILLED to finally get an end to foolish players who try to unhook themselves. Cause it hurts how much progress Survivors can make. In fact we have ESCAPED way more games than normal since this patch.

BEST PATCH EVER. I'm with @UndeddJester on this, excellent play by BHVR.

I am so glad soloQ survivor are forced to man up now and actually play a game, even if they get downed first.

  • People react to the Warning Message like its a personal slight against them, they dont want to be told they played incredibly poorly. So poor in fact that a system designed to track people who kill themselves on purpose are suspicious of them.

You do know how other games tell you, that you are bad? They give you a Game Over.
I gotta say I have no time for a guy who sits and looks at a warning message for 10 seconds, then looks at chat and then looks back at the message. Its Theater, He wanted to make a point cause he felt insulted by the warning.

And BHVR is happy to take a look at their system, ofc they are.

  • Hey, just wanted to ask a question here since I've seen this come up on reddit a few times now.

    image.png

They say people are getting banned, for getting crow'ed by the new Crow System, is this true or false?
Additionally some say BHVR are personally saying, that crow'ed players are lying????

It sounds MEGA false. But I'm here to check, so bring out the receipts. https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1lfj0xq/video_of_all_4_survivors_being_defeated_causing/

  • There was an Idea I thought of regarding the ball pit, BHVR would it be possible for you make the specific basement beneath the ball pit, if it spawns, have a layer of balls, not a thick layer, but as if when the basement spawned all the balls were dropped into the basement.

Basically if a player Killer or Survivor character moves through it in that specific basement, Balls will fly everywhere.
I think that would be soo cool.

  • Its not a visual bug for me, its not counted.

  • Pride flags were created as symbols of visibility, unity, and resistance for communities that have been marginalized, discriminated against, criminalized, or erased. LGBTQ+ pride, for example, arose in the context of fighting for basic rights, safety, and dignity THIS in many places, still are denied to LGBTQ+ people. Straight people does not meet those qualifications.

In public discourse and on social media, heterosexual pride flags are frequently linked to far-right movements, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, and even hate groups. This gives the flag a bad reputation, as it is often perceived as a symbol of intolerance rather than genuine pride.

That said, not everyone who displays or creates a heterosexual pride flag intends harm, you may simply misunderstand the social and history behind it. But overall, the flag is widely viewed negatively, especially within LGBTQ+ communities and among allies.

    So I rather not please.
And to answer your question, we are not celebrating all players, we are celebrating the marginalized ones that need our support.
I get it, It can be confusing, You need like to understand a good chunk of history behind those flags see why.

I have a similar issue with the same quest, on PS5. However it's not only that I can't progress or pin it, but I actually had it complete before the new chapter release. It was on 200/200 and on the chapter release day it reverted to 60/200, making my completed quests lower.

    @RealWarDoctor said:

Same problem here! I'm on the SteamDeck…

So it happens on multiple versions.

  • @MarbleThrone said:

It's a visual bug, you probably already completed the quest as it originally was 60/60 seconds (I believe).

If you add up all your completed quests, including the ones under "Rift Pass Completion Quests" as these count as well, and then check the tracker displayed at "Complete 48 Rift Pass Quests", you can check if there is a difference of 1. Mine said 32/48 and that is because I indeed completed 32 quests (6 x 5 for every week + 2 Rift Pass Completion Quests") even though this quest from Week 6 suddenly unlocked again. It's still completed, but doesn't visually show as such.

Nope its not, it does not count it either. Im at 36/39 cause im missing the two others and that one.

  • Given the audio bug and the danger associated with Door Travel, most survivors never touch doors which means we hardly get devious points.

Make the axe grab devious and make detecting a survivor in the axe aura grant devious points pls.

  • I think Vader would be cool, I think BHVR could make him plenty scary enough for dbd.

  • You go ask an artist to make paintings like they did when they were inexperienced, see how they feel about it.

  • Oh BOY is there good news for you!

the reason why i said put on the monitor is because they'll figure out that legion is getting closer to their location and will figure it out eventually since telling them what the killer does is too complicated for them to understand

they should just keep playing to get experience and get better at the game instead of having their hand held

I don't think that will work, people would sooner quite than having their face-grinded up against something they dont get.

My hope is that BHVR does not share this attitude.

  • @terumisan said:

honestly just turn on the heartbeat monitor and just keep telling them about the mend bar

neither of those explain that legion has basic wall hacks on when in Frenzy tho.
    its not a reliable solution.

  • Problem is, things where very unbalanced back then. So what is it gonna be then? an event with greater unbalance?

  • All Killers who move fast should have 40 TR, this is like becoming an established rule now.
If you think Wesker is too weak even with that, its not out of the question for BHVR to consider buffing Wesker.

But BHVR should NOT got back on the 40m TR rule for fast Killers, I think it makes things much more fair for new people.

Also the reason Deathslinger does not have a 40m TR is that unironically Deathslinger seems to me like he's designed like a stealth Killer. He sneaks up and shoots people and then drags them in, but he cant do it as fast as any of the fast Killers.

  • I only care about them making the Search command better at snapping to Gens.
or atleast maybe add an alternative button to gen snapping to avoid isses.

  • I find myself playing matches where I am actively chasing, downing, hooking, and rotating across 4–5 generators—not camping or holding—but still being punished by the game for "3-genning".

I'd like to see this game, because it sounds like your survivors are making no progress, which is a MMR issue not a mechanic issue.

  • @Raptorrotas said:

Please elaborate the metric the devs should track to make this change.

"Chasing the same survivor twice" is a rather broad condition check.

How can the devs define tunneling if the community whos crying about it cannot.

Hooking the same survivor consecutively = less devout emblem progress for a hooking than not.

  • Nah, Im not supportive of Shack pallet being back after 60sec.

  • You make a good point in that all quests kind of gotta have a solution for every side. But…
If they did that even fewer players would play Killer cause there would be need to.

So maybe BHVR is hoping a Quest can be motivating to try some Killer, which could be the original motivation to do such quests.

The Quest in particular gives you 50 Rift Points, which is equal to 3 Dayli quests at 55 Rift Points.
Is that a fair trade for BHVR to kind of prod and poke you, to give Killer a try? I think thats a point to consider here.

I use them from time to time, but they barely make a difference and often the fog isn’t even high/close. Except on Eyrie of crows there it is huge. I also don‘t understand why fog bottles don’t stack further than the purple one.

It might be worth it for BHVR to adjust fog bottles on all maps to match Eyries. Idd support that.

It will certainly help, but I hope you can‘t make it too bright, so it doesn’t lead to a situation where you have to turn it up to not be at an massive disadvantage. Most people will probably use it to erase the horror aspect of the game to get a competitive advantage, so this feature is a 50/50 against and for the horror aspect of the game.

@PleaseRewind I agree with you. I think behavior if they‘d do something like that would find a way to make it right.

@Valtyk I don‘t think that improving the athmosphere must come with an disadvantage for survivors. Having more fog is an advantage for survivors as well, because they are found less easy and the other things would act similar. Nostromo is a great example for a dark map that has a great athmosphere while not putting any side at an disadvantage. Aside from darkness and fog I don‘t feel like the other things affect gameplay. The only thing that would affect gameplay is my last point, but this will not change anytime soon I believe and it is also more a personal preference. I‘m not a fan of pushing the gen rush vs fast kills mentality any further. I‘d like if matches would last a little longer and would allow both sides to be less competitive.

One thing to consider is the Fog Bottles, I usually never use them, but I've found it makes the environment super spooky.

    They are optional ofc.

  • Does the gamma settings coming next patch count?

  • given the discussion about arachnophobia recently, such a Killer needs an extra skin of power, body and shape for arachnophobia people to turn on in settings. But yeah, it would be cool.

  • People wont like it, but I think she does have to have a earn mechanic to power up her blink.
It could be like draining air out of Survivors, making them breathe harder, which could work well with Stridor.

Plus no Aura reading when charging the Blink too. Her power is already op enough, you don't need wallhacks to land hits too.

  • MMR really dont care about how you feel in the match, all it cares about is how you perform compared to the people you play with. So the question is, What is the result of your matches? cause if you win the mmr will send you up.

  • Honestly there is a point that can be made about the portals, it seems the only ways into the dungeon is far too easy to protect.
Given that the entrance portal or the stair down is right next to eachother.

Solution 1: Make the one way portals flip directions every minute.

Solution 2: put the One way portal in further away from the stairs down.

Solution 3: Add an additional Portal in the shack that connects randomly to the two Dungeon Exit Portals.

  • hopefully after the camping changes, cause last time It was pure pain.

You know what… what about 2v8 Lights out.

  • Houndmaster has a couple of issues that BHVR has not looked at yet, I wonder if they have focused all their energy on Kaneki/ Springtrap this year that they have not had time to look over Houndmaster's issues. Like we alarmed BHVR about this on her PTB, but its been not much done about it.

Which is honestly Sad, she is a blast to play.

Yeah but it doesn't down you, hook you and sacrifice you automatically within 1s. Is balance see?

Ofc how could I be so blind.
