It's like trying to order from Amazon but getting Wish(Dot)Com items instead. There are glaringly obvious things that need to be fixed or tuned in DBD but the powers that be flat out refuse to take this game forward. Just release DLC/Skins and hopefully soak in money.

Wesker is definitely one of the more fun killers in DBD. Would recommend.

Some of you need to understand, not everyone who plays is interested in bp.
I use cakes so i can find the invites to get the challenges done quicker. The bp i don't care about.
If you keep going into games expecting to get 50k bp and don't get them then you're just going to be disappointed.
This is pretty much the case.
If there was a way to communicate prior to the match starting, "Hey wanna farm?" type of deal then it would be a lot easier. Seeing as there isn't a way it's a 50/50 shot. Even on the survivor side you might have one person that doesn't want to farm and just play the game while 3 others want to.
Just how it is. Treat every game like a normal game unless there is some notion that it will be a BP farm.

Push them off one gen, discordance proc on other side of map. Go across the map push them off, discordance proc on the other side of the map that you came from before. Once your down to 3 or less gens left this is completely uncountable if all 4 survivors are alive and you haven't killed anyone and have no mobility. Why killers tunnel and camp to get someone out of the game early so they don't have to deal with this nonsense. It's totally braindead for survivors especially if they are on comms. I can't even reach the gen before it completes half the time when I get the discordance proc.
Map split with the gens and 4 survivors still up because I didn't play like a scum bag and camp tunnel and set up a boring 3 gen, discordance procs twice at the same time gens on opposite sides. My chases weren't bad. I had two people on the floor at one point and gens are still popping left and right. I'm playing fairly but also having quick chases at the same time but the killers don't have what they need in their kit to compete with this crap. Super frustrating, my main is totally outdated and the devs ignore and say he is fine when everyone agrees he sucks without broken add ons.
I don't like playing Nurse and Blight I play on ps5 controller and it's a total pain in the a$$!
Why would you go across the map to push survivors off a gen. Feels counterintuitive. Actually would make sense why some killers are having such a hard time right now, if you're trying to enforce all gens on the map you're probably going to lose because you're not putting any strategy in your gameplay. You can get one person out by having a set area that's more than just a 3 gen while there are 4 survivors on the map.

Same reason why some people need a crutch like swfs to play, and the same reason why survs stand at gates instead of leaving.
SWF is a crutch? That's a new take.

Wesker mains when the match goes over 7 minutes.
-
A ton of people are complaining about it but in typical BHVR fashion, it's our problem.

With the recent event u can get up to 500% the bloodpoint per match if everyone plays ball and burns a terrormisu.
During non event days I get why killers sometimes facecamp to create pressure and make sure that survivors are busy rescuing. But I have to say that I get super annoyed at killers hard facecamping during the event. Like the survivor loses one chase and is more or less dead. Even if u manage to unhook them they just get tunneled to death again.
I have to say it annoys me so much more as during non event weeks. Seeing that everyone could get 500% the bloodpoints and 1 survivor gets like 3.5k just cause they got camped to death on first hook.
Unfortunately the disdain some of the people DBD community hold in their hearts makes it impossible not to encounter this sometimes I believe.

Dont gaslight this as a survivor nerf.
Its a survivor BUFF since people wont be killing themselves on hook.
The luck system should have been changed a long time ago.
Lets be honest, you're the one gaslighting with that dogmatic response. And you know exactly why.
You won't be able to stop people from not wanting to play, killer or survivor. Trying to do so is not only asinine but unreasonable.
-
If the killer can get 2 out of the game, the 4k is basically secured. When it's down to 2 survivors, you just slug one and wait for the other to save them, you see it all the time. It's not fun but it's how DBD works.
-
IMO map design and BNP are the problems for the most part. If some maps were a bit smaller I feel some killers would find adding pressure easier. BNP just needs to be reworked.

@scorpia said:
I have the opposite. I'm playing killer and every survivor team is coming in with 4 toolboxes and just rushes gens when we have 3-5 BP offerings. I am trying not to kill anyone but I still want points. If the game is only 3 minutes long I don't have time to even get any hooks. This community is so strange.
True.

Idk why survivors have to survive to get the masks, like as long as they get the invitation and don't DC from the match, that should be good enough. That's basically what it is for killers so why do survivors have an extra step? I can only guess it is to prevent DCing but still, there's got to be some way around that.
You basically said it, get the invite, play the game through til the end. Either you die or survive.
-
@Phyrqc said:
God forbids people want to play normally even when an event is running, heh? Basically everyone got all 12 masks by the end of the first day already btw.
You can play how you want, not complaining. Just find it funny that some are sweating so hard it feels like they just want to deny the event for some people. c'est la vie.

I've only went against one SWF (I think) and They were all near P90. I lost, because I suck and run at a very smooth 20 frames (switch).
Yeah been hearing horror stories for the switch. I honestly don't even know how you can play on it, you've got my respect.
-
I think a lot of killers freak out when they see 2-3 gens pop pretty quick, but with 2 gens plus EGC you have options on pressure. Most of the time survivors slip up and try to bombard the last gens resulting in multiple downs. My number one tip I believe killers really need to learn is not to get lured away by a better survivor resulting in the others just powering the gens.
4K's are nice and we all love them but sometimes it's just not possible.
-
It's been business as usual for me. I'll sometimes lose when I go against a really good SWF but they are usually trying pretty hard so I respect it by giving equal sweat. Regular Solo Q gets dominated so have to ease off the clutch a bit.
But with the event I go perkless and just have fun trying to maximize BP with everyone.
-
Not my style of play. Found him pretty boring after a while. I do like the voicelines.

I mean because personally I won't be able to play to the end of the event. I will only be able to play until mid next week.
That's unfortunate, they always time gate the tomes a bit especially with the second part of the tome. But you have 19 days left so hopefully you can get some games in.

I might not if they make them take too long :(
It's been only one day and we're already through the first challenge and a quarter through the second. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
-
The event has always been killer sided. Easier to just play killer during it to finish all the unlockables. As survivor you have to have the invite + make it to EGC. Hence why you have some killers going out of their way to make your life as painful as possible during the event.
-
typical survivor main W
-
It's the great equalizer, very simple but also very complicated in the fact that you're trying to slip up your opponent. Being random is a super power because if the other player can figure out how you play (too obvious), it's easier for them.
-
Just been farming on Ghostface with survivors, I can fast crouch so they know I'm cool and hip.

@WalterBlack said:
He still just isn't great, his power is still incredibly easy to completely nullify repeatedly
I feel it depends on the player and the map. I ran into a Sing that completely decimated our team and we did everything right with EMPs. He was just on it.
-
You shouldn't be chasing with Scratched Mirror anyhow, defeats the purpose.
-
Make maps spoopy again.
-
I've had luck with Jolt and Deadlock against TB+BNP groups. Sometimes you need to let further gens go and control an area.
Edit: Forgot to mention that a smart survivor will try to lead you away from people doing gens, usually just drop chase and pick up on someone else, causing a decent amount of value from Jolt.
-
Maps are a giant glaring issue and I am surprised large maps even still exist as killers lose a massive amount of pressure on them. MfT+Hope is definitely a problem that killers can't really counter. If Hope overrode MfT at EGC, I don't think there would be a problem.
-
I think he's neat. Granted I've only seen about 2 really good Singularity's that know how to use his overclock. Forced Hesitation is a crazy perk.
-
Anti-Face Camp won't do much of anything. Solo Queue will still be plagued with massive altruism. Trades will still happen. Snowballs will still happen. It won't fix the core issues.

the fact MfT is strong enough to the point just a facts can make a valid reasoning to nerf it? I agree.
Yes, problem is many people not using facts. Just making up stories to try to prove their point. If the perk needs a nerf, show the actual facts. So far the only thing I can agree with is a MtF+Hope combo which can be rectified by disabling MtF at EGC. MtF+Resil is not a problem unless you're getting outplayed by a great looper, even then I've seen killers mind game it.

Appreciate the aggression but I am not going to hand hold and explain definitions to you. Not looking for Forum PvP.

Last time i checked walls, vaults and pallets exist without MfT too.
If a 130% killer can't catch up to a 103% moving survivor then by all logic a 125% killer wouldn't be able to catch up to a 100% survivor any better. Which means there is a supposed tile that even with blood lust 2 you can't beat a perkless survivor.
MfT is strong enough that you can just point to facts to make a argument against it. No need to spout nonsense like that
Just wanted to quote this because it seems a lot of people like to glance over this fact.
-
When 3 survivors are left the game can snowball in the killers direction fairly easily. So camping/tunneling one survivor out is the easiest way to almost guarantee that 4k.
It's not fun but it's the smartest way to play killer and it's been adopted by the majority. It's BHVR's game and they made it like this.
-
@Rovend said:
It is the same as the other recent survivor chapters. People read a perk with a decent effect in the ptb, theorize that all survivors will have godly masterful skill using it that will break the game, flood the forum with nerf posts and the perks get either panic nerfed or they realize that is not nearly as strong as they thought and nobody uses it.
Remember all the Scavenger will break the game post?
It's the same old tired trend, people flocking to the forums to tell people the "math" and "stories" of matches they supposedly had, which is remarkable because they make it seem like they face comp teams every match. Makes you wonder.
-
Might as well remove the perk or not make it stack with Hope, killer mains flocking to the forum to complain about it is tiring. It's situational at best and killers can still catch up a lot of the time. Been noticing a lot of pseudo-intellectual "math" going around about it as well. I don't use the perk so honestly couldn't care less what happens with it.

I was on 0 sleep auto pilot the other day and brain dead talking to my friend, looked back and couldn't believe the killer still wasn't on me yet.
3% is far more impactful than so many people think on this forum.
If you told the truth then maybe.

Pretty sure this will be solved when they add bots. But who knows, I could be wrong.

Hide everyone until the match starts, problem solved. No bringing perks to counter items like how you can't bring perks to counter specific killers unless you dislike it so much that you run it naturally. No swapping to a tryhard build because you think someone with a prestige 50 in the lobby means they're some kind of god, etc.
This.

If they nerf it, it begs the question - do they even play their own game?
As soon as I saw the perk I thought, that would be OP with hope and resilience. Theres combos you can do where you are as fast as a killer, some faster.
So its becoming a legit question, do they play the game?
At this point I think they just make up a bunch of stuff just so they can sell DLC packs. They know the community will buy it. DBD has no real competition so they have no real motivation to fix this game. Just keep the community happy enough not to revolt too much.
-
MFT feels like a weak perk that you need to combine with others to make it worthwhile. Adding it to No Mither would be fine.
-
I feel like there should be some limitation, IMO it's on par with stacking gen regression perks. We go full circle between killer and survivor buff/nerfs that we always end in the same position as before. The "meta shifts" and perks are a total clown show.
-
@Pulsar said:
People will never be satisfied.
Use the new PGTW. Use the better version of PR. Use Corrupt.
It won't carry you anymore, but that doesn't mean that these perks aren't good. You have to show some good Killer gameplay in order to get value.
That's a good thing.
Think that's the main problem, you have a decent amount of killer mains that always want to be handed the kill instead of gaming for it.
-
I'll see OP's Average Singularity Match and add an Average Singularity Match.
in b4 "b-but!!!" mains.

The only sin I see here is mediocrity.

Servers are usually having problems but they've been exceptionally bad recently.

@EvilSerje said:
Lack of skill and reluctance to learn, so just gamble: to use cheesy lame playstyle and easy win, or be completely wrecked. 0 skill, 0 progression, 0 fun.
If less than 3 survivors and there are more than 1 gen left, it's almost impossible to lose as killer.
If wrecked, the foam comes from weak personality, because what other player will choose unskilled, unfun way to play, that doesn't work on strong players too. Can be compared with cheats, you can type IDDQD, but are you are playing the game after that?
Makes sense, you'd think someone would want to get better, not just chase - get looped into oblivion - then complain afterwards. If you want to chase a survivor to get better, great, that's what some of us do. You can learn a lot of tips, tricks, and mentality tactics. But to salt/foam in end game chat, guess it is what it is.
We see a lot of killer mains complain about toxicity but killer toxicity always seems to get a pass.
-
@Bartlaus said:
I honestly don't understand why you're asking. If you can run the killer for more than 4 minutes, you're the only survivor having fun in the match. There's nothing I like better than being chased by a Bubba who won't give up and wants my ass at any cost.
When I chase a very skilled survivor as a killer, I'd rather hunt him down than some random Steve who's on the ground after 10 seconds. It's because I want to get better, not because I'm mad. If you only play against mediocre people, you'll get worse over time.
Maybe read the entire post?
