I run anon profile, I don't cheat, don't have a bad attitude, nor am I a streamer. Not really sure why some people are so afraid of anonymous profiles.

Maps have, and will always be, the main reason why most people complain in this game. If the maps were way more balanced we'd have better games (survivor and killer).
-
If I kill myself on hook so the last survivor can try to get hatch I'll spectate, hopefully didn't die in vain. If it's a Steve I'll always spectate.

Just make it if you touch a regressing gen while in chase you get a difficult skill check before the gen stops regressing.
-
Just needed to be tweaked IMO but seeing all these posts of people fighting 4 man god looping SWFs all running MFT every match they get, I guess it just was an absolute nightmare every waking minute for these players.
Is what it is I guess, saving grace is there will be less complaints on the forum.

People running out of survivor perks to be mad about so now mad about perks that don't exist yet. Peak DBD.

No Made For This
Exhaustion perks: Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Background Player (recently buffed)
2 Deja Vu (one of them combined with Resilience = gen rush)
2 Unbreakable
Windows of Opportunity
Off the Record
Deliverance
For The People + Buckle Up
Also 2 flashlights, an item bound to receive a nerf very soon
Everything that is gonna be part of the next big complaints by DBD players. Just wait.
So I am guessing, nerf all survivor perks?

Can we get a sexier skull merchant skins please.

Honestly, glad the part from 0:50-1:00 is removed, just doesn't fit or sound right.
-
I've noticed most killer mains don't want an actual challenge unfortunately, they want to feel powerful and unrelenting, aka "power role". Chucky will come out of the PTB broken and it will be radio silence for a while.
Just how it is here and won't change.

Even if it was, which I don't think it was, I'd much rather have an overnerfed perk than an overtuned perk,
This is the problem with most survivor perks, they end up overnerfed.

Developers put out blog talking about future changes coming on test server next week, so we can test them. Everything and very likely something, will be subject to change.
Now imagine how many content creators, people on social media and here on forums start Trickters apocalypse, MFT dead etc when the PTB is a Week away from now to test. Trickster changes are huge and need to be tested yet everyone seems to allready have access to them and played like 10 games with him.
Can you all stop overreacting and wait for that PTB to show up and then you can seriously talk about this. I am tired, maybe I should take like 48h break after each blog post / major update from dbd media until you guys all chill out and it becomes old news.
Then don't read them? Or watch a video about it????

This thread is a fun thread
Maybe so, but titles like “survivors got nothing” etc. are inherently inflammatory given the nature of the DbD community.
In my opinion you could just have “What survivor buffs would you like to see?” and keep the same meaning of your thread without the connotations that survivors are being neglected in favour of killers.
On its own, there’s nothing wrong with it. But in the broader context of DbD’s never-ending survivors V killers wars, it can sound a little inciting IMO.
/nm
It's not inciteful at all. Only a small few, including yourself, took it that way. Best to move on if you're offended by it.
This would be an awesome revert. Would calm some "I'm constantly getting tunneled", just bring DS with you so you have a chance.

You need to stop complaining about the alien. I played as him and against him. Yes he is hard but can be beaten with the right know how. I see alot of players not even try. You flashlight and tbag but the moment I hook you just DC. I can end the match just as fast with 5 gens with bubba. Alien tail attack is not even that great. Stop standing still on the other side of windows and paletts tbagging trying to be toxic and maybe you could avoid it. As for the flamethrower It works well you just place them in bad spots. Campaign the doesn't work and placing 3 together. Put next to unbroken loops windows. Stop running around to gen rush you can be seen in the tunnels. I see 80% of players using some kind of explicit. Pressing windows or lockers when down body blocking lag switch I even see hackers every other game but when you get hooked you cry and need a debuff. Just get good or play something in your age group. You win some and lose some . Stop playing for the win and do team work. Been playing from day 1 on and off. And the team work has gone. Typing this on ps5 with remote sucks.
Oh ok.

I never really posted here, but i am what most people would consider ,,A Veteran" of this game. Bought around July 2016, played sparsely and got super hard into the game ~December 2018. Back then the game had a real thrill and the excitement of filling my library with all of the DLC's was amazing time. I was playing with my best friend, we both had terrible laptops that ran it in 20 - 30 fps cap. We had a lot of fun tho, the game was super simple and enjoyable. Got bored of the game like 2 weeks after Deathslinger hit live, then i started playing really rarely. When Blight launched i basically stopped playing entirely, until i wanted to feel nostalgia and went on to play for a week to just leave it behind.
Im not going to cry about this game changing, life goes on and we can't change it. What im trying to say is that im going to forget old DBD and embrace the brand new DBD we have now. I reccomend doing that to every single one of you fellow veterans out there! Now that im looking at this game from a difftent perspective, i find it a lot more enjoyable. I am still missing the old meta with Ruin on top, but now the old ruin is just a flashback. The way this game wasn't balanced at all made it fun for uncompetetive players.
If there are some ,,Retired Veterans" i hope you will come back to this DBD and enjoy the game we got now, and perhaps get your friends to get some nice flashbacks.
Me and my friend literally bought the same laptops we had back in the day, exact models just to play DBD like the old days (It was totally unplayable due to the evolution but whatever) and even post reworked maps brought tears to our eyes back when we were learning how to loop basic shack on old Thompson House.
Peace to everybody
Bless up.

Turbo or get turbo'd

Xeno is iconic and the tail swipe is insane + forgiving. It will be the most popular killer.
-
Doesn't even look the same. Like Expectation vs Reality.

Could just make his M2 a combo of other killers like, when he uses his M2 he vanishes or levitates (moves slower) but pressing the ability button makes him fly in a straight line toward a target. If a target is hit they are affected with Blood Poison and their vision goes black/white while suffering blindness until cured by holy water.

Oh yes, woe to the nubs. It's an insane information perk that is always on unless blinded. Windows is the primary reason why so many killers feel they need to run mindbreaker.
WoO might help a survivor get from loop to loop but still doesn't mean they won't fall for a mindgame. I feel like a lot of killer mains hold onto a crutch of "I'm losing because of <this>" instead of looking at how they themselves are playing.
WoO has never been a bane of any of my killer matches nor do I see it often (feels more like a lower end of the MMR skill, hence why less experienced survivors chose it), seeing a godly looper running WoO is about as rare as finding the Dodo bird.
-
We're really out here complaining about everything.
-
Earn 50% more BP if you toggle random perks would be nice.
-
I feel like I am part of the rare Wesker enjoyers as well, especially when you juke him so many times he DC's. I also love playing as him.
Why? Because subjectively Behavior made him REALLY FUN to play. But at the end of the day, skill really does matter.
And also which VPN you use /s
-
You're basing it on assumption that loops will spawn in a higher density which you have no way of knowing. I don't believe we have enough small maps to really come to a conclusion if it would be better or not.
Basic "Holding W" never really works and usually ends up with the killer getting the down due to mechanics. I feel like you're talking about loop chaining, which technically you will have to have strategy to "Hold W" correctly.

Or maybe they are just good killer. So maybe perk affects unskilled bad killer mains, so they are believing this perk is busted. That's also possible y'know.
I find this normally to be true, you have people who refuse to adapt or get better. Might not be totally their fault and have plateaued at a level that they just can't get any better, you see this in every game and it's usually accompanied by complaints about the game yet take no self reflection into consideration because to them it's easier to have an excuse.

It's funny how people are nitpicking 1 killer out of 4 killers he mentioned but doesn't explain the rest of them. Is it because he's right?
I've noticed people consider some killers low tier because they just don't know how to play them.
Doctor is a great killer and you really can make games insanely not fun for survivors, Sadako just got a nice buff on PTB, Trickster you really need to know how to aim and if you do you're going to wreck people, and Trapper is trapper because once the web is down moving survivors to it is pretty easy not to mention hilarious.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This. No one is doing gens.

Twins can be incredibly strong in the right hands but unfortunately insanely underwhelming for the majority. Needs some QOL and fixes.
-
Yeah you can clear the window and still get hit, it's insanely forgiving for killers atm.

I don't really want to gripe on free stuff but 400k is pretty much nothing.

The DC Bots are not meant to be a reward for d/cing. They are just there so the game isn't instantly down a person, because some people can't handle playing out games.
Agreed, looking forward to the killer bots whenever they get those working correctly.

The stats are there to prove it. I don't want to see any survivors denying it's a legitimate strategy or toxic now.
They've been saying it for a while. And we've been saying killer is pretty decently easy to play, yet killers can't admit it.
-
Been going on for a while, just no one really talks about it.

It's not a skill issue dude. A good swf can give a low tier killer a bad time anyway. A good team stacked with made for this is ludicrous.
Most of the time it is. I agree with the MfT+Hope which I think should be looked at. Either way, we can agree to disagree but in the end it'll get nerfed either way.
-
I have the opposite experience, when you try to mind game a bot they usually get stuck on something and their pathing is atrocious so getting them down is insanely easy. I honestly wish they were "smarter" and harder to go against, or some difficulty slider.
-
It most likely will, when? Who knows.
Average or below average killer players are having a tough time with it so I don't think it will take them long to nerf it. I think they want to metrics to line up first.
-
It's a great high value perk.
-
@Krazzik said:
As mentioned before, at low MMR killer is much easier than survivor, and most players will get a bunch of easy killers games for quite some time until their killer MMR reaches a certain point. Then killer abruptly becomes much more difficult and I would argue fairly close to solo survivor at times. Overall though solo survivor is the hardest 'role' but killer isn't far behind.
Depends on the player, and can't be treated as an absolute as you're trying to claim.
-
I wouldn't say it's unfair. Because even a SWF can be uncoordinated and just having fun with friends. Get tired of the stigma that every SWF is some esports comp team, I attribute it to the killer just not being as skilled as they think they are. Same with survivors saying killer is OP, the killer you went against was just better than you.
Just how it works in this highly competitive party game.
-
We need more in-door maps. I wish Hawkins was the only map in the game.
-
Give us some fan service outfits and not just recolors.

All I know is, when I play killer I am laughing. When I play survivor, I'm crying.
Sad world.

I am really glad the team is not listening overacts and nerf new content. I really hated this before, when Freddy nerfed after his first week. I am glad this logic changed.
Agreed, kneejerk reaction to a vocal minority on your forums is a bad move. As much as people hate "metrics", it's the most baseline you can go on at first, then move on from there.

It is not fun to encounter the same killer more than 3 times in a row, daily as well
Depends on the person, not all of them are going to be the same skill level. Juking a Wesker is fun, granted fun is subjective so you're entitled to your opinion.
-
Wesker is just fun to play. Devs should make more killers that are fun.

to be fair, can't really blame OP. It's been a bit horrendous lately for some people.

Outside of fixing maps (the main problem). I would, in my own opinion, make something like Deadlock basekit. Survivors keep their progress and informs the killer what generator would pop next instead of seeing 2-3 go at once.
