  • Honestly, I don't know what to expect from re-introducing MMR. First attempt was a shame.

The idea of having a separate MMR for each killer maybe good for the beginners, but I am concerned about the higher ranks.

Let's say (and this is true), I have 1 900 hours in the game playing Killer and Survivor. I am rank 2 now and I still have Wraith at level 1. You can imagine,

I know how M1 killers work. When I decide to level up and play Wraith, how long would it take for me to play against current Rank 20th?

Would that be fun for me to slaughter baby-megs 20 matches in a row before I get matched with more experienced survivors? Would that be fun for baby-megs to be slaughtered by red rank killer?

As a killer, I like to play dirty, I want the survivors to suffer and feel pain, but I want to do this for more experience players, who got used to this gameplay.

My steam profile is full of hate toxic comments and I enjoy this and encourage people to leave a comment on steam in the post game chat.

I feel really bad when I have tunneled a new player. I don't enjoy this.

  • I meant addon, and I like the idea about secret offering too. Or both! ;)

As an offering, I would rather pick this than, let's say "Cut Coin" or "Shroud of Separation", which hurt the killer

  • I have just moried a survivor in front of other hooked survivor

  • and also this please

And why do they not touch Noed? They are both perks that need nerfs.

Because undying in the current state (before nerf) affects the entire match and very efficient as a slow down and aura reading perk. As a killer, I did an experiment and brought only 2 perks ruin and undyng. I was able to 4K 10 matches in a row as Plague with remaining 2 - 3 gens.

Noed does not slow down gens and lets the killer get maybe one kill if the killer is lucky. Smart solo queue survivor would try to find noed or escape. If survivors are dumb, they would attempt to unhook the survivor in front of the killer while noed is active. If you cannot do anything -- just escape.

  • Undying is going to be nerfed to the ground floor soon

And people did when they could identify the killer with the log-files.

Good times! I am glad now the logs are encrypted.

After some time, you can memorize the cosmetic log lines and the killers it corresponds to, so you don't even need any software to identify the killer, like in matrix, you don't see the code in the logs, but you see Bubba, Hillbilly, Nurse...

    image.png

Maybe soon I will learn how to decrypt AES encrypted logs without quantum computer :D

they won't wait 10 more minutes. they will get the next killer which right now is about 1 minute max if not 5 seconds. and if you dodge and quickly get back into waiting you MIGHT get them again lol.

During the day time, this could be 5 seconds. During the night time it could be 10 minutes, maybe close to 7 on average.

For killers in my geo location, the queue is almost always instant, no more than 10 sec for the next lobby.

I get it good one Franklin. Franklins demise just use that

Franklins is fun, but you are wasting a perk slot. Experienced survivors are able to find their items, unless, of course you are not going to stand on the item for 90 seconds. To me the reworked franklins is nerfed franklins. The item does not lose the charges anymore. Will you bring franklins for a single item, key in the lobby?

  • @WheresTheGate said:

As a survivor main I'm all for this. I figure any killer that will lobby dodge for those reasons is likely going to be so sweaty the match won't be enjoyable anyway.

Correct, thank you dear survivor main for understanding the Killer's pain. As a Killer, I want to have a fun match, use my power, chase different survivors. When I see a person with the key in the lobby, I feel like they are telling me "So we are going to do 3 gens and leave". Hasta la vista baby killer!

Some killers ignore that and lose. Some killers tunnel a person with a key. I personally prefer to camp and tunnel everyone and the weakest first, so that everyone in the match will have a bad experience, but at least I'll be in control.

And the next lobby -- a survivor with a key! But... I want to use my power... chase people... :cryinglikeabitch:

    image.png

  • @Ivaldi said:

Or you can just suck it up and play the match? Imagine if survivors were able to see killers and their respective addons mid lobby. A lot of you would never get matches if we played by these standards.

... but you cannot see killer nor addons nor perks ;)

  • MMR does not require a DBD client update, everything is already done in the client, so basically they can tunr mmr on/off at any time.

I would expect Devs to do A/B test when a small percentage of players would use MMR and gradually dial up to 100%, I hope they are doing this... but I don't know.

But current match making experience looks usual to me. Sometimes I get red-ranks as a red rank killers, sometimes (rarely) I play against rank 10 - 16, sometimes I see a sweaty rank 8 SWF and sometimes red-rank squad who don't do gens, doing self-care in the corner... as usual

  • @Carlosylu said:

I thought queue times were fixed the day of the update, but yesterday it all went back, 10+ mins waiting as survivor and less than 1 min for killer.

As a Rank 1 killer and Rank 2 survivor I politely ask you NOT TO LOBBY DODGE, you need to learn to play against everyone, and don't come to me with your:

"WoUlDn'T yOu dOdGe A LoBbY whErE...?"

The answer is NO, I don't dodge lobbies, the only justifiable reasons to lobby dodge is Ping and knowing a guy in the game that you have played against and you know he is a toxic player or a DCer, any other reasons are just lame excuses...

In game DCing is another issue, don't get lost from the thread please... Not getting a good map, matchmaking problems and bugs are not part of this thread.

    Edit:

I'm not trying to force people not to dodge, I'm just politely asking for people to avoid as much as they can lobby dodging, people dodge out of the dumbest things nowdays like "I don't like facing Davids" or "Matchmaking is broken, if I see 2 toolboxes they must be red ranks". I'm not talking about in game DCing, but about actual lobby dodging, it's not wrong to dodge a lobby every now and then, but not 5/6 games until you get to play aginst no SWF Dwights with no items, hehehe. Get my point?

Sure, especially when I am playing in the night and see team with toolboxes (of course those are for sabo, no BNP inside) and keys (of course those are broken keys) with Haddonfield or Midwitch on top, I just think those survivors deserve much nicer killer, not the killer like me, who is going to be tunneling those peaches. So I DC before the map loaded or dodge the lobby.

Don't worry about me, DCing before match starts does not apply penalty and when I dodge -- I just find the next match instantly!

  • @jayru said:

    They are clearly not.

I think they are clueless considering in the dev stream they mention how they want to buff base game perks and stay away from buffing licensed perks to avoid a p2w atmosphere. But than they proceed to nerf a base game killer perk (than), when we have had DS in top tier with only a few other perks for years now.

And with this latest update I've lost hope, all they care about is jerking off their crappy data onto our faces as a reason for everything

is there data on HOW IN THE HELL you are so detached from your playerbase when you do a Q&A every month?? That really shows how all they care about is pleasing the majority.

There is only so much they can do with the game at the given point of time. Even if they have thousands of devs working on the game at the same time, they won't fix everything 1000 times faster. I mostly like what they are doing in the upcoming update; I don't like the UI HUD change and I am a bit concerned about MMR, but let's see what's gonna happen. They are buffing some other rarely used perks and make them more popular, I like this. Regarding to Undying -- the most streamers I watch were saying "this perk is going to be nerfed". It is really too strong with ruin.

But I agree with you, BHVR management is kinda detached from the community, and they are the people who make the decisions, not the devs, unfortunately. And yes, they recently did a lot of nerfs for Killer side. I hope they will address this in future. Their DATA should clearly show survivor lobby time (like 5 minutes avg) and killers lobby (instant, which means there are a LOT less killers in the game). Playing killer is less welcoming for the new players. For people who get used to the game -- it is fine and fun.

It feels like u are ignoring us, if it comes to significant points. Stop making this game easier for newbies, that makes u as awful as Activision with CoD. Should a similar game appear, you are ######### - a lot ppl will leave. We r still here, bc u are the only one and not a good one.

    A little reminder:

-OoO; who the ######### taught u reading statistics?

    -DS

    -DS + Unbreakable

    -Undying nerf?!

    -BUGS

    -KEYS

    -BUGS

    -Map offerings

    -DbD

In my opinion, the main thing which makes the people play this game is your anger and hatred. On lower ranks, I remember I played a lot because I just hated killers as the survivors and survivors as a killer.

I've got used to all that ######### and learned how to counter that. Now I am not playing this game that match :(

    • DS -- counter with slug
    • DS + Unbreakable -- counter with slug, wait for unbreakable and then slug again
    • Undying nerf is needed. Ruin + Undying is not healthy and boring. I can 3K/4K with only those two perks.
    • Bugs. They are fixing bugs. Some bugs are fun.
    • Map offerings: Unless the survivors know the map by heart, it is very satisfying to get 4K on their map. This depends on survivor skill, if this is a tournament swf team... well not sure I can do anything here. Also, how would I play scratched mirror Myers without map offering? Or drifting Billy?
    • Keys I agree -- those are BS, which morally let's me just hard tunnel, slug and give them the worst gamming experience. For instance, this is very satisfying to let the last surv with the key to bleed in the dying for the last 4 minutes. Then I pick up and hook it. If it DCs -- this is even better, cuz I know it will lose the key and the points. If one brings the key -- all team needs to be punished equally.
  • It is already done!

The Plague tells you everything she want you to know when she performs mori.

Bubba speaks when he is using chainsaw

Billy screams in your face everything he thinks about you before using chainsaw. It is somethin like "arrggghhh"

Demogorgon speaks all the time. This is your fault if you can't understand Demogorgian language

Myers does not speak by franchise design.

Blight speaks all the time, and also when he uses his power. It sounds like scottish english accent, but I just cannot recognize the words

    Huntress sings you a song

Clown is drunk, I am not sure he can say anything meaningful

This is the stupidest add on the Devs put in this game. Literally, within the first 2 minutes of my game, my teammate doesn't even get hooked let alone hit. Just instant dead. A little bit later same ######### happens to me. How is this fair at all? And people are going to say this game is survivor sided? Yes, most killers don't use this pussy item but why is it even in the game? You can't even complain about keys when a killer gets the most broken add ons. I know this item only lets the kill occur during tier 3 but this is plain right unfair. It's literally instant death.

Unless survivors are really d... not experienced that match -- Judith's Tombstone is not an easy addon to play. It implies killer to also equip Fragrant Tuft of Hair. Both those addons decrease killer's movement and stalking speed, so if your team really let the killer stalk that match, then you were clearly doing something wrong. I believe, killer just got lucky in that trial.

Tombstone Piece is a different beast. It is OP and works great almost every game. It is much powerful than Judith's Tombstone.

I cant wait for iri head to be gone, just had a game where I was facing a rank 1 P3 huntress who did the iri head/infantry belt combo with ruin/undying and brought the midwhich map offering. Got her first two kills before 5 gens were even done thanks to solo qeue. I cant wait for iri head to be gone because when its in the hands of really good huntress players then it can become really broken really fast, hell even if the huntress is mediocre they will still probably get a 3-4k. I know the huntress rework is(hopefully) removing the iri head in favor of something else, what do you think that new add-on will do?

Try to play on the killer side -- it is so fun! One shot -- and survivor is DEAD. DEAD DEAD.

  • Here you go:

    image.png

S: Plague is just awesome. Bubba is 4k. Billy is fun. Myers gets the job done. Huntress has iri hatchets. Slinger is great. Ghosty is ghosty! Demogorgon -- use the rat liver and watch Bronx. Blight is fast. PH does not care about your BT and DS.

A: Piggy kinda M1, but she can be stealth + head traps. Freddy is ez to play. Clown is drunk. Spirit is boring, but like Myers gets the job done. Legion has some kind of dyspnea... hope that's not COVID.

B: Oni is kinda bang-bang. Wraith is like Oni but ding-dong. Twins... well you can kill the B... B... B... Brother! Trapper cannot find traps.

D: Doctor is an #########. Hag is disgusting. Nurse is either a baby nurse or it is that one TTV who actually learned how to play her after 5 years of everyday practice.

  • Queue times depend on the time of the day. Queue time quite fast during the morning/day, but long after like 7pm.

For the killer queue time is instant almost all the time. I love this. As a survivor, most of the time I am playing with average skilled survivors. Console and PC survivor players are almost same. Red rank console SWFs are better than average.

Useless survivors is not a crossplay issue -- it is matchmaking issue. Current rank based matchmaking is funny some times. They tried to introduce MMR, but that was a failure.

  • This is, as always, depends on the map and RNG and your mood, but I don't think Legion is the worst killer. Otz did his first 50 wins streak with Legion.

So you can win with Legion quite consistent, just learn some tricks (like for any other killer).

Some aspects of Legion's power is frustrating of course, for instance, the biggest change for me would be making his power lethal, like let me down the injured survivor.

Or, more important, why would you punish me using M1 and take some value from my power gauge?

Legion is not OP, but on average I enjoy playing him.

  • Long, long time ago, with 3-gen left and hex build with survived Ruin and 5 stack Lullaby. Playing Plague vs 3 immersive survivors... oh yes, that match was around 40 minutes long

  • @RossSama said:

    wow

BS perks that need to be removed from the game so Otz can get his 50 wins as Trapper.

Imma tier 3 sub tomorrow and then upvote some posts about him on reddit.

Can someone give me some advice for clown? I think I play pretty good but I always run into sweaty SWF who tbag me and win cus of perks.

OTZ will do it, don't you worry!

Hi people of the fog and DEVs, the title says everything. I don t see players playing with the Plague a long time ago i mean, even nurse is more playable than Plague himself. Her power is fun to use but ONLY with strong addons and yet even with those strong addons, strong survivor or solid survivor can waste her alot time. The Plague is a fun killer but her power could be better. In strong loops her power is useless and sometimes even if you want to vomit to a survivor, you may fail because its easy to counter it. Has a main killer i feel that Plague pain, even when i play survivor most of the killers who use Plague, they dc fast and i understand it why.

Do you guys agree with a Plague rework in the future ? Yes or No

    1, Yes

    2. Yes.

    N. Yes

... but don't touch her. Plague is great. I love her!

Just got done with a match. At the start I found a survivor (Jeff) stuck on a hill due to the bug. I downed him and walked off. I could have hooked him. Should have hooked him too. But no, I showed respect to my fellow player. How was I repaid? With a gen rush of course. I eventually found the survivor, got a hit on him. Then gena were done by this point. He then proceeded to loop which was fine, make it fun. He then went towards the door where one of his teammates body blocked. Instead of leaving he flashlights me. And hels it there til he died then left.

I did nothing toxic at all. And that was spiteful. Not mad. I just no better now. No sympathy for survivors. This will be a classic case of one bad apple ruining the bunch.

I remember Feng stuck in a hill bug and I did not know about the bug, so, as a killer, I downed her and stuck there too. Fortunately I was able to get out of there. And yes... I did not show any respect to Feng and all other survivors and got my 4k

  • MMR won't fix this issue ;)

To be honest, Mad Grit is not like the most popular perk, I was also surprised when I've seen it first time

How Cool Would It Be To Have a Killer That Can Transform Into Survivors???

I've been thinking about this too, I have imagined this as like a demon possession, when first, killer can see what is going on with a random survivor eyes; then you perform soul swap with survivor and survivor stuck in killer/demon body and cannot do anything -- the demon, on the other hand can control survivor body for a short period of time and perform a hit.

During this time, the survivor eyes start glowing red. Once possessed survivor performs a successful hit, it permanently completes body swap with the demon: surv teleports to killer location and killer teleports to surv location

  • I have just installed Pallets 2020, it should fix the issue

MMR seems to work just fine for me. I'm getting red rank killers as survivor and red rank survivors as killer. Sometimes there's a purple or even green rank survivor in the lobby but for the most part everything seems normal. Are people exaggerating? I'm genuinely confused.

    ... while you are Rank 16 as a surv/killer

  • I wonder is those things are really connected and Plague's vomit is actually a flashlight beam.

  • As a killer, I usually go there and cry when I see an object of obsession on this map

  • I think you are complaining too much (to all who complains). New bugs are funny, sometimes annoying, but funny. And when they fix old bugs -- they introduce new bugs. Bugs are essential part of gameplay. Without bugs this game would be boring.

The only thing I could complain about is that bugs are hidden. I would rather read "Known issues" in release notes and then find and enjoy bugs in new release. I would also like to request buffing and nerfing some classic bugs.

Please, buff the flashlight bug (meaning make the beam unpredictable. I don't like flashlights). I would also introduce random short-circuit to the flashlight so that it would randomly stop working or lose all charges at the beginning of the match.

Would be great if flashlight could randomly explode and kill its user.

  • DBD is asymmetric game with asymmetric MMR... whatever that means

  • Okay, no more screenshots for now, they are basically the same.

With Bubba, I've been playing for past 2 days. In the was enjoying matches yesterday, but today the majority matches I've got was sweaty SWF or solo survs.

After series of matches playing constantly Bubba I was de-piping and losing the games. This experiment is over.

I have tried another one: Let's switch killer to Plague.

And... first game was easy. Next 5 games I've been matched with mixed ranks and get my 3k and 4k.

My conclusion is: if you want to enjoy this game -- switch killer more often. That's it.

Spread that MMR across multiple killers.

This is something I've seen in Otz stream today, when he'd been often matched with yellow ranks. This is because he switched killer often.

So this is a good time to learn new killers.

  • Matchmaking times are considerably longer. And yes, now I see a person who just created an account. That YUI was rank 15 with 200 hours of playtime. And she knew where every window and and pallet was. I had to run around the map several times to catch her.

Looking at the results (since ranks are obsolete) it seems you have a fair balance between wins, losses and close calls.

Are you able to give more detailed info on how it was during those matches? Besides the cheater where you dc'd, did you throw any matches? Did you notice any consistent ways of playing in terms of experience?

There may be a lot of new guys, but there could also be a lot of experienced players creating new profiles to gain an edge. That is perhaps the only thing the ranking system has any use for now.

    > Looking at the results (since ranks are obsolete) it seems you have a fair balance between wins, losses and close calls.

Even if ranks are are "obsolete", it does not mean they are meaningless. Survivor needs to do stuff to get pip, not only doing gens, but also win

chases, rescue other players and so on. When I see red rank, I expect at least more than 600 hours of playing the game. Ranks are still saying how experienced the player is.

So when I am being matches with red ranks -- there is, usually, no fair balance. I lose. Or I have to tunnel and lose. Overall, yes it is like 50/50 (miked ranks / red ranks), but today I've got a streak of red ranks in matchmaking. Yesterday -- a lot of new players.

    > Are you able to give more detailed info on how it was during those matches? Besides the cheater where you dc'd, did you throw any matches? Did you notice any consistent ways of playing in terms of experience?

Yesterday I was able to do some fun stuff with perks and strategy, like using Tinkerer with its full power. Do some mind games.

Today's experience is more like playing vs like experienced players, some of them just troll you, knows perfect vault timing and can chase you over entire map. This is something close I had with "OldMatchmaking". Oh yes, those players are usually "obsolete: Red Ranks. Not super cool. If I switch killer, I'd probably get some more relaxed games, but I am planning to stick with Bubba to see to where it brings me.

No, I usually do not throw any matches except someone is hacking or when I did not notice "Object" on Midwich.

    > There may be a lot of new guys, but there could also be a lot of experienced players creating new profiles to gain an edge.

    > That is perhaps the only thing the ranking system has any use for now.

Yeah, I've a separate account to practice and learn some techniques in "Kill your friends" mode, so I can practice and learn some things without bothering my friends. And of course, I wanted to see how easy it would be to go against rank 20 killers/survs. I ranked up to my "real" rank (8 - 7) quite fast (like in 4 days) on a new account.

If people want to spend their money and buy the game -- I am okay with that. They cannot transfer BP or cosmetic in to their main account anyways.

There is no any big reason to do so.

We've selected a few questions from the community about the new matchmaking system and had them answered by the team.

    • I know you’re looking at skill across different killers but are you looking at skill across different survivors too? even though survivors are just skins, we still have to grind for open perk slots which, for a less experienced survivor like myself, that’s a big deal

Generally speaking, the performance difference between a low level survivor (as in, the character level is low) and a high level survivor for a given player isn’t statistically extreme. It also changes very quickly, relatively speaking: It doesn’t take that many games for a low level survivor to get to a reasonable level. To complicate it further, it can even happen over “0” games, if you got the BP from some other means! All that said, we’re going to keep an eye on this and see if it plays out differently in reality, and potentially modify the system to take this into account.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/150WZBYV10VT/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • Can we get a little insight into how SWF matchups will be balanced in the new system?

Currently, SWF groups will calculate an average rating of the players in the group, and then the matchmaking system will attempt to find an opponent based off that average. We will be monitoring this and the results it gives in the real world, and may tweak the formula to produce better results if we identify any problems.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/07DXKY7XE8V0/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • How is it gonna be fair to those that are new as a survivor? I feel bad for them

We’re specifically monitoring the experience of new players to ensure the system doesn’t immediately throw them games where they are hopelessly outmatched, and we have a few techniques that we’re implementing already to help with this. Lots of technical / mathematic details, but the basic effect will be that new players tend to get matched at a lower skill rating while they’re still new.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/TGFAZUA81XL9/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • So after reading this post why aren't the current ranks not weighted in the starting skill rating for the player base?

We’ve already been running the skill rating calculation in the background for several months, in order to collect data and to validate some elements of our approach. Anyone who has been playing regularly in that time will already have a loosely calibrated skill rating to start with, which will be refined with each game they play now that the system is live.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/FNM6B04UNAD6/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • Is it taken into consideration if players have returned from the game after a long hiatus. Some examples are some people returning after a year or even two.

Without getting into extreme mathimatical details: Yes, the system does take how long it has been since you last played into account with the rating system.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OQ1TAUEV9UFQ/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • Why are ranks so mismatched now?

The Matchmaking News post we made went into detail about this, but to summarize: Ranks are mostly a measure of how much you play in a given month, and doesn’t have a very good correlation with game skill. Skill rating is completely driven by how skilled you are at the game, so there will be some divergence between the two. The rank system will be getting updated Soon(tm) to reflect this difference.

    • Why are we keeping the skill rating hidden?

For every player who gets really excited at the prospect of seeing their skill rating, there is another player who dreads it. For now, to encourage everyone to play the game the best they can, we are keeping the skill rating hidden. We have plans to expose it somewhat in the future, but nothing to announce at this time.

    • What will it mean to Ranks in the Tally Screen?

Right now, the Emblem system / Rank system is being left as-is. We wanted to get the skill rating system out and in player’s hands as quickly as possible. The rank system will be getting updated Soon(tm).

    • Is the rating started counting now, or already set from past performance?

Ratings are initially based on your performance over the last few months, while the system has been collecting data in the background.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5HFZKHX7LQ75/patchnotesdividersmolwhite.png

    • What are the factors that affect the ratings?

Ratings change based on how you perform in a match while taking your opponents rating into account. If you outplay an opponent who has a much higher rating than yours, then your rating will be adjusted quite a bit. If you outplay an opponent who had a lower rating than yours, then the adjustment is quite small.

    • Does this mean that those with different NAT types that weren't able to play together before (unless they had a connection with the lobby leader) can now play together?

The skill rating has not direct relation to NAT and network connectivity, as it is used to determine who matches together. As long as your NAT type allows you to connect to the dedicated server, you should be fine to play with anyone else (who can also connect to the dedicated server, of course). Since we are now using servers instead of P2P, NAT incompatibilities are less of an issue.

At least they are aware that something is slightly not working well.

From my matches today, as a Killer and same old Bubba I've got s streak of #OldRedRankDoesNotMatter sweaty survivors and a few normal matches at the end.

Honestly, with old matchmaking I know I am gonna go against red ranks, so I am gonna bring my best perks and addons.

Now it is unpredictable and I don't want to use Iris-addons for rank 14 survivors.

Well, I am a little bit confused, but trying to be optimistic. Good thing, I am not being matched to new players that often.

I would consider this result as OK... well there was a group suicide, but anyways

    image.png image.png

This is the seconds result I consider Okay:

  • Killer:

I've decided to be nice to the last survivor, just once

    image.png

    Survivor

I can't complain about Killer rank, but those two yellow ranks probably could

    image.png

So this is how fair matchmaking should look like. Don't think I am hiding fair results.

    Another one -- Okayish

    image.png

    OMG It improves!

    image.png

    ... Just kidding

    image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png

  • Killer:

This is probably what I want to see from fair matchmaking:

We have yellow rank, 2 purples and one red. The match was fun for both sides, everyone got their hook!

    image.png

    Survivor:

Someone played Bubba, but that wasn't me! 2 "rank 19"s DCed. I don't know why.

The Pig went wild with mori

    image.png

Matchmaking thinks any Billy is OP

    image.png

Those 2 "Rank19"s actually played well

    image.png

  • Killer:

First match of the game and the survivors strat was spread around the map and do gens, do gens do gens. My strat was to camp camp camp and hook. Worked for me. Glorious win! But... yeah, back to game. No sweat. They were like avg old rank 14, I remember myself

    image.png

Second game -- unlucky, I was matched with at least one cheater, when I got that Kate and wasn't able to hook her (by staying in front of the hook and smashing space). They usually do this by increasing network latency to 4000ms, but I did not check this time

But... huge diff in ranks compared with last game

    image.png

Next game wasn't supper sweaty, just a regular one, but with higher ranks

    image.png

And the gift from the Entity! Thank you, I was about to stop playing!

    image.png

Well, I would say I like new matchmaking experience as a killer more. Before that, I've been matched with red ranks almost all the time, now it is like 50/50

  • Okay so the trend is -- I am getting matched with rank 20 killers... I don't think rank does not mean anything in this case.

    Survivor:

  • Survivor

Okay, so in this case it worked well:

    image.png

And then it got a bit funny... Wraith played played well this match

    image.png

And the next one... was not the best experience for Demo, who just bought this game, as he said in the chat
