The only Claudette types I see immersing are low rank.
High Ranks is a different story.
Well my Claudette was a level 9 and still pulling that stuff. Red ranks I see doing that too.

I couldn’t message them. They have their settings where they can’t be messaged.

maybe they're just tired of the boring gens and chases and want to shake up their gameplay?
I’ve honestly seen the opposite. Like they are so use to hiding and whatnot that when the Killer finally spots them they go down quick cause they aren’t use to being chased. Again, this is my own experiences with Claudette. I guess I struck a nerve here with this post.

Look obviously I’ve encountered some great and teammate friendly Claudettes. That title is mostly a clickbait title. I will say however the vast majority of my matches with Claudettes are like this match.

I've had some poor Claudette's today. They turned out to be low ranks who I can only assume are very inexperienced at the game. They'll just need more time on the game & hopefully do their own research on how to be a better player.
I was playing with a Felix yesterday, he had a key. 3 gens left to do & 3 survivors left = he was using urban evasion searching for the hatch. I didn't "hate" him because he was making uneducated choices of an inexperienced player
But if they are constantly being the last ones alive and kept getting hatch then what are they learning? That their tactics work so they don’t have to be a team player.

Agreed.
I play Claudette a lot & if I'm not smashing gens, I'm being chased or healing/saving
You gotta realize that kind of Claudette is the minority right? Like you do know a lot of people groan when they see a Claudette in their Lobby cause they assume they are just going to hide and wait for hatch. Or get hit once and immediately vanish for minutes to self-heal

If this is happening to a lot of people can we get a Mod in here so they can address this?

no. everyone has aim dressing.
they are there to force you to face where you are hitting, make it seem "better".
they don't anything to compensate console players.
I’m a console player and can usually get 360 and left in the dust by PC players. I’ve tried my hardest to 360 with console and it doesn’t work or I haven’t cracked the safe.

You're faster than survivors and have bloodlust.
Judging by your profile pic, I'm guessing you're a huntress. Keep in mind that she's a 110% speed killer and relies heavily on her hatchets to compensate for her corporeal speed.
If not, there really are few infinites in DBD anymore. The window in rancid abattoir is a rare example, but most killers abilities circumvent that. If you feel like you're running an infinite, you're doing something wrong. Take a break and play survivor to understand the survivor mindset; that certainly helped my experience with killer, just as how playing killer helped me understand survivor gameplay.
I love Huntress but I’m not too good at her. I mostly play as Trapper and do decent.

Aim assist. It only takes effect when the game detects the killer's weapon intersects the survivor's hitbox. So the game doesn't move you to make the hit, you already did. Key difference between it and auto-aim.
What aim assist does do, it tries to make the hit center to the survivors hitbox. That way the hit doesn't feel off. The problem is this often moves the weapon into an environment hitbox instead of a survivor.
That's why I called it anti auto-aim.
How do Killers get the hit then if they are not even facing me when they swing? If I’m behind them and they still manage to hit me that seems a little off.

It isn't a freebie since the killer still has to chase and down the survivor. As long as it doesn't happen every single match, and the survivor doesn't spawn right next to the killer, I don't see a problem with spawning near the killer.
With a direct line of sight? Are you for real?

"It's not for learning killers, by mid ranks you either get high level or low level survivors, thus it's survivor based" no, the reason you don't have middle ground survivors is the exact same reason, as survivor you're either red rank or rank 20 there's no in between. There's still red ranks who hide and do nothing but camp hatch like a rank 20 and rank 20s who do everything they can, just poorly so they stay rank 20. The issue you're getting is going from high rank playing against random rank 13s straight to 4 man swf red rank killers. That's also on DBD who's made soloq such horrible nonsense for survivors that they have to swf to have any chance against these campers. By design, horrible killers created your red rank 4 man swf because DBD still rewards bad behavior of camping.
I don’t disagree with that at all. Lol

I don’t really understand what happens. You was struggling to find them hiding in bushes, but also they were all grouped up and unhooking straight away?
Anyway whatever happened if this honestly gets to you then the best advice I could say is not to play this game, it’s toxic af and will only get worse. Or just stick to playin survivor SWF. Mental health is more important than a game
I was in the swamp area. They were constantly sneaking around 2 to a group it seems. One or two were Claudettes cause of course. I would hook someone while the other hid and then they would immediately unhook and hide. At the endgame when I finally hooked one they all came running to unhook and swarmed me

I had to completely disassociate myself from feeling bad about survivors after trying to be 'nice' and play 'fair'. People will get upset about ANYTHING and I had to decide if that was going to bother me or if I was going to have fun despite their reactions. Run the perks and addons that make the game fun for you then go out and have fun! I remember that feeling of being disrespected and 'feeling like a loser'. I have to remember that I determine the way that I feel, not invisible children on a video game. I've only got 200 hrs in the game but I've played long enough to know who I'm good with (Spirit, Doctor, Bubba) and I'll go to those when I'm in need of a solid match.
Practice has helped me get much better and watching players who are better than me who also explain the tactics have helped TREMENDOUSLY!! I would recommend Tru3Ta1ent on Twitch and there are plenty more, but he's my favorite. Mind games help, knowledge of the maps help and knowing how to counter the behavior you've experienced helps. This comes with experience, practice and research. You'll get there if you stick with it, and it is SOOO worth it when you down those mothers who are being toxic and then rage in post-game chat. As long as you're having fun, keep having fun. I try to be helpful and explain things as I play killer. As I said, I'm only 200 hrs in but I'm a teacher IRL and that helps me explain things as I go and some people have said that they enjoy that aspect of my stream. Feel free to say hello and ask questions and we'll figure it out together if you're interested, https://www.twitch.tv/professorgameandtalk See you in the fog!!
I’ve actually watched a few of his videos. But unless I buy the DLC characters or spend a lot for the perks I won’t be able to even run half decent perks as is. I’m a relatively new player so I don’t want to jump right off the bat sinking boatloads of money on DLC. Especially since I’ve only been playing two months.

Excellent job of entirely not getting OP's point--which was that a swf survivor accused him of camping/tunneling when they were swarming a hook. He didn't whine about his hatchet-throwing; he simply sarcastically acknowledged it as Huntress' primary power and he's not responsible for an update bug that has hit boxes out of whack. Is he supposed to not play killer, until the issue is resolved? For someone who claims to play both survivor and killer, you certainly seem in a hurry to invalidate his point and defend the behavior that inspired his post.
thanks. I know her hatchets are tough to do. I have been looking up tips and have even placed a mark on my screen to show where she likely throws her axe to help with aim. Even then hatchet is useless if all of them are constantly around you swarming the hook and body blocking. Have to resort to just hitting.

if that was red rank party vs R13 killer it was Matchmakers fault, not deadhards or theirs (for trying to save their friend), just move on (you cant fight it)
if they were that altruistic i dont see the issue(huntress exceeds in chain hitting),
also in your mind deadhard is godlike perk that makes survivors permamently unkillable xd (thats not the case especially since desync is huge),
about them being ...holes there is bunch of ppl like that(and i love killing them) but if you were tunneling their friend 1st (imo its kinda normal for them to Tbag i do that too, if killer is focus 1 surv im gonna taunt you to change focus or trigger you),
and i have question about your logic, you hate Deadhard (you didnt mentioned other perk, and DH was mentioned bunch of times) why your primary goal was to kill only person that isnt using perk you hate hmmm, if someone is using OoO im killing them 1st, if someone is forcing DS on me(locker on my face), im killing them 1st
I don’t hate dead hard but the match was in endgame and I haven’t managed to kill one yet, any of the people using that perk would be a waste of my time. So I went for the one who didn’t have it

So you just admitted with solo queue you get nothing but potatoes. If that's the case, how do figure survivors will mostly win? Most survivors play by themselves.
I’ve noticed lately theres an uptick in parties and such. So the solo que thing is slowly being dealt with. Sure there will always be randoms but I’ve seen a lot more parties lately. Just having a two party survivor boosts the survivors greatly.

The Desync-Issue does not change Hits which should not connect on your side to Hits which connect. So if you go for any over-ambitious swings, those will not hit.
However, the Desync changes what the Survivor sees, for them, the Killer is not as close as they actually are, so it is harder to play around that.
Just because your first sentence reads like you think that Desync is something different.
I’m saying once the desync issues are fixed and they can tell if the killer is close or not. Survivors will start to win an insane amount.

Frankly after reading this i think you need to just take a break from killer and come back another time, killer is a stressful experience for a lot of people especially if you're learning, since most survivors quickly learn good strategies and how to play more effective, whereas killer can take a long time. Watch some videos of higher level killer players and try to take mental notes of their strategies and you will quickly learn that any killer can take out high level survivors with relative ease if played effectively.
I’m a rank 13 killer. Constantly getting matched with red ranks. They mow me down with ease and two or three gens pop before I can barely walk around. How is that fun? That right off the bat you have to start off frantic? Or just to get decent enough perks you have to buy and use dlc characters perks otherwise you won’t win at all
-
Also to note: how is it fun for the Killer to go against players who are not in his league? It’s like an NFL player tackling and beating down a middle school football player. Do you think they enjoy that? I mean, free BP I guess but I doubt the match is challenging and exciting for them either

If a Leatherface M1s you... That's good. Sure, escaping damage entirely is ideal, but if you've forced him to resort to the M1, he got zero value out of his Killer Power. You've rendered him an M1 Killer (and an M1 Killer would've hit you through that window in the same situation!) so you have essentially gained the upper hand in the chase and forced him to spend ALL the time his Killer Power is supposed to be saving him. Even if he hits you with his chainsaw afterwards, all he gets out of it are extra Bloodpoints, because you're already Injured.
It should also be borne in mind that all Killers, assuming they don't lose sight of you or give up, are intended to catch you after enough chasing.
i guess that’s a fair way to look at it.
-
@Lexilogo said:
Whether or not a Leatherface player collides with scenery is down to how the Killer plays. It's a little like Nurse: If the Killer plays perfectly, trying to bait them into a Tantrum or missing a blink strike simply isn't going to work.
The one thing that all LF players have to respect though is the window. If there's a window nearby you can reach, you can screw up their chainsaw charge. Just try to observe them when you vault it, because if they keep going with the charge to try and catch you on the other side, you need to vault back through and treat it like a pallet you're mindgaming. That's the specific chase adjustment you need to make when going up against him.
He Didnt seemed fazed at all by the window. Just was on me no matter what, and just switches to his m1 and hits me. Just seems like once LF spots you and he follows that’s it. You’re going down

I only solo Q and appreciate when they finish their gen first. Most ppl seem to forget you have 1minute for each hookstate. Just make sure your mate doesn't get into the next hook phase. And yeah, run Kindred. A lot. It's still the best perk in solo Q.
They didn’t come for me or try. I had already saved them before on hook and wasn’t a “potato” teammate. But the minute I got hooked that was it. They just gen rushed and left. I didn’t see the killer around me at all.

If you seen it from the start then fair enough you do you, toxic players deserve it but at the same time is throwing the game which is punishing your other team mates too.
Also pointing out people that don’t do much except hide I don’t agree with, when I was a newer player and didn’t know how to loop that was the way I played, I think I even made it to purple ranks playing like that so you can’t judge on ranks but you helping the killer in these situations could drive players away from the game who don’t know any better
But most that hide are Claudettes and such and they know how to play cause they chose a Claudette to hide lol

As a survivor if you drop pallets early and tbag, hide in lockers and don't contribute I won't come for you UNLESS I need that extra body. So, killers, if someone is being pulled last minute it's most likely that survivors, too, are done with the bs they pull.
If the team is being run hard and you are corner camping or lover surfing and I haven't seen you touch a gen, you clickity- clack flashlights at the killer or t-bag pallets then I'm prioritizing the hard working survs and gens over you. Sorry not sorry lol the hardworking team is the living team.

Well, as a Survivor your gestures are the same as your taunts too. That's like getting annoyed when a Survivor runs from you, but you're playing as a Bubba emoting with his instant down chainsaw. It could mean anything.
You gotta make it obvious somehow and don't bother unless there's 1-2 people left, otherwise it just looks like you're trying to make him chase you. Try puppy eyes and looking up to them from the crouch, but also don't be surprised if they just hook you because they get points either way and a good portion of Survivors are very mean to Killers.
Well I let him hit me and still I pointed and such. Didn’t move. He still didn’t get it I guess. I had one good match with a Nurse though where we had an AFK teammate that just stood there. I pointed her out and the nurse stopped chasing me to hook her. I was happy with that.

But if one of them does something toxic first but you miss it, then the other person starts being toxic and you see it. You’ll end up helping the person that started being toxic
That’s true but I’ve noticed lately due to the update and how crap it is most survivors are grouped together so they can gen rush and not to absolutely destroyed with the desync issues and such. So I’ve been keeping an eye on teammates more often lately cause people are staying together more.
-
I guess I would just have to be extra sure you’re being toxic. Like I think when people constantly tbag and such all at the exit gate together and blind them is toxic, but sadly it’s too late then. Doesn’t matter if I help or not cause they will get away. I’ve had that happen before. Haven’t seen a survivor teammate being toxic at all then bam! Toxic mode on as soon as exit gate is opened.
-
@Kellie said:
What if I'm teabagging to get the killer to chase me instead of my dead hook teammate?
If I see that then I would understand. Especially with the new UI system and they have profiles now next to names. But most toxic survivors I’ve encountered since to be lone wolves who only care about being chased and getting away. The one I was against was constantly motioning for me to follow him and then tbagging after encountering every pallet.

Don't worry, I'll help you hunt mean players if you can prove to me that they are actually not being team players and aren't just regular players doing legitimate stuff you/I don't like. For example if they're just hiding near the hatch waiting for me to kill you instead of trying to help and you show me this somehow, I'll happily kill that Survivor and wave goodbye while you use it yourself.
Infact I always follow gesturing Survivors, either purely out of curiosity or because I messed up badly and don't know where anyone is anyway. If you lead me to someone I don't think is being toxic though, I have to hook you on principle.
i had a match against a Wraith in the Saloon area. It was grueling cause that map is small but me and two other teammates were doing our best. And then we had a Claudette constantly hiding in a locker. I ran right up to the killer and motion and pointed and begged him to follow me. He just downed me instantly and hooked me. And the Claudette got away through hatch.

So how would you know that your survivor team mate was being toxic first or if it was the killer?
That is fair. But usually the toxic survivor want to constantly have the killer’s attention. I will have to give a lot of leeway and watch how the killer and survivor interact. If I catch the killer being toxic towards me then if I see a survivor being toxic right back I will help my teammate. I will just have to give a lot of leeway until I’m sure either the survivor is being toxic or the killer.
-
That was not what I said, like at all. I was simply stating the others were dead set on saving him despite him openly being toxic around them
