Do people not get bored of using Blight and Nurse like that every game?

This would give "space blight" a whole new meaning.

Similarly, Hex : No One Escapes Death does not guarantee that no one escapes.
We're Gonna Live Forever does not guarantee the survival of anybody.
NOED actually does live up to its name.
Give them, say, 50-70 years, and they'll be dead as can be.

yea but heres the thing, can be good, can be helpful, there isn't much guaranteed value in blight addons, most of it requires some base level of skill, most of the addons are upgrades but are also nothing or even downgrades if you can't use them.
I mean, if you don't have that base level of skill when playing Nurse and Blight then you're already going to lose.

God, i hate MMR.

Blight's add-ons are good, but definitely not the strongest in the game. He's got too many duds for that. Sure, Alchemist's Ring and arguably Adrenaline Vial is busted, and Blighted Crow and C33 are very good. But most of his others don't stand out. The only ones that do are Blight Tag - incredibly situational, clunky, and often leads to you ignoring hits you could've gotten if you just played normally in favour of an instadown that's easy to predict and play around - and Summoning Stone, which is a decent add-on. That's 7/20, usually a little over the average in terms of good add-ons for killers. Sure, Blight's top add-ons are extremely strong, but they don't hold a candle to things like the Tombstones and Fragrant Tuft on Myers, or MDR and Cherry Blossom on Spirit, or Bookmark, Wheeze and KLB on Nurse, or Mint Rag and Shackles on Hag, etcetera.
Meanwhile, his browns are all useless or outclassed, his 2 Slam duration add-ons mostly hinder you, his 2 turning add-ons are unnecessary, half of his purples (Vigo's Journal and Soul Chemical) are memey gimmicks that don't really do anything, Compound 21 is extremely overrated, Canker Thorn is just a feel good add-on, etc.
Don't get me wrong, he certainly has a good selection, but every killer should have good add-ons, regardless of how strong the killer is. I don't think any of Blight's add-ons should be nerfed besides Alchemist's Ring, and maybe C33 and Adrenaline Vial. Maybe.
I respectfully disagree.
-Slam duration addons increase your movement speed after bumping which is helpful for repositioning.
-Blight Tag is very good because you don't necessarily need to hinder yourself to use it, and if you learn to use it it's dangerously effective. It's one of those addons that gives the killer a whole different playstyle that needs to be learned separately.
-Vigo's journal can be really good for sneaking up on survivors and for mindgaming survivors in tiles.
-Compound 21 is incredibly helpful for flicking around loops to get hits.

Nurse just ignores every survivor defence. Blight just has busted add-ons and has countless "techs" which bypass the limitations that his power has.
aren't many of those intended?
-
-Nurse fundamentally ignores the laws of the game, so yeah.
-Blight's fine but literally every meta perk is good or great on him and his addons are literally the strongest in the game
-
I've had a 99'd survivor try to bodyblock me once as Ghostface, but I imagine that a tombstone mori would be even more satisfying
-
I don't feel I could ever get burned out of Blight...or could I?

So is it overtuned, and need changes, or is the jury out?
I don't think it's overtuned per se, but it could make things Blight is already really good at even stronger.
Overall, a pretty good suggestion though. It'd definitely encourage some really creative plays.
-
Sounds like the zombies are rejecting Nemesis and embracing Bubba
-
This seems like a fun idea but it'd also make open areas even stronger for Blight, not only making it easy for him to get downs but also giving him some nice solid air to bump off of. I guess that this is partly counteracted by the slower speed, though
-
True, playing with a sentient jet engine in my ear gets quite annoying.
-
That'd be pretty cool

For Survivor, Kindred without question. The information is crucial, especially if the killer is camping when you're in solo queue.
For Killer I like to run Plaything. It lets me sneak up on survivors, forces them to cleanse hella totems, and pairs nicely with Pentimento, like a bagel pairs nicely with a quality made cream cheese.
-
Um..Ok

You never answered my question though, so many people including in this post truly believe solo Q is weak and not because of the reasons I said yet they dont give any other reason...
Yes the things I listed are issues and you're right no buffs or nerfs can fix that, yet why are SO many people asking for solo buffs? Built in perks etc.?
All I said is those issues need to be fixed and not buffing solo and I get people meme or call me a killer main lol
Because adding built-in perks or other benefits to solo queue can help make up for the dice roll of getting good or bad teammates.

So why do people talk about buffing solo Q and completely ignore these issues and jump straight to built in perks and coms then?
Because you can't fix the behavior of players with buffs or nerfs.
-
So what you're saying is solo queue is fine if you exclude all of its problems?
Gee, who knew?
-
Hold W, you'll be ok.
-
idk if it counts but a survivor left their flashlight at the exit for me but another one came and picked it up as they went out and said "MINE" in the endgame chat.

#deletethedbdforums
Now this I can get behind.
-
Why is #deletethischaracter becoming a trend?
Anyway, Twins deserve better than what they have. Deleting them just isn't right.
-
It's really saddening to see how toxic some people can be. As I've been learning Blight in the last few weeks I've gotten usually wholesome end game chats, but I've also been playing like a certified survivor-friendly killer because if I'm going to lose anyway I may as well not camp or tunnel as long as I make sure I get 4 BBQ stacks.
I wonder how many of those people would turn toxic if I hadn't played like that.
-
Playing "The Blight"
Seriously though hitting someone with Lethal Rush is always satisfying, especially if they attempt to juke you.
-
Glad to have you back!
The game is...ok I guess. CoH is nerfed in the upcoming patch so basically everything you've heard about boons is all blown (slightly) out of proportion.

What in the entity's flat realm is Dead Hard?
-
Myers, though it's very hard to get good value out of the synergy.Blight's don't synergise THAT well but they do make you into an unstoppable killing machine so, y'know.
-
Blight's left hand can also fit around a survivor's entire midsection, by the way.
-
Isn't Tuning Guide bugged?
-
To be fair I think it's less difficult to win with perkless Clown than it is to get a 4-man escape in solo queue
-
I used to hate Neas but now I just appreciate the free kills

There needs to be an option to remove extra VFX such as this.

I've made this joke multiple times but I once saw a Mikaela with the name Registered Hex: Offender
-
Dead Rabbit, J. Myers Memorial, Infectious, M&A, PWYF, and Bamboozle on Michael.
The idea is to be very stealthy in tier 2 then explode into action in T3 before the survivors have time to react. Infectious helps keep the ball rolling and ideally I build up 3 PWYF stacks before popping T3.
I also had the idea of a Blight build with Infectious, Distressing, Shadowborn, and BBQ with Alc Ring and Iri Tag, but I haven't gotten around to it yet since I never tried it when I was on console and now that I'm on PC I don't have all of these perks yet.

That is so far from true. I picked blight up in less than 2 days after watching Ascension play him for a couple days. I basically took what he knew with bump logic and such and applied it to my own gameplay and it went from maybe a decent player as blight to a really good blight player. And this is when he had has super responsive collisions (shot blight) with little to no sliding unless it was a haddonfield bench.
I don't know I think he's fine where he's at where a dedicated player can pick him up very quickly. It get's to the point where I see someone with 2k hours with 50/50 struggling on blight I question how they're having so much trouble.
By the way, any idea what happened to that guy? Ascension hasn't uploaded or streamed in over 8 months. Completely silent on Twitter too. And he seemed satisfied with the game as of his latest video.
Just strange to me.

I learned nurse but couldn't for blight he can be juked easily and his power is extremely hard in jungle gyms and everyone can easily hide behind random objects and deny you hits but if he had a higher turn rate with nerfing his speed and cool down would make him easier for everyone.
Take this, it'll help.

This gave me a good laugh
-
Oh yeah, mobile's infested with cheaters. Subtle or otherwise.
-
Blight's only problems in my opinion are Alchemist Ring, C33, and you could also argue that the speed addons should be nerfed or at least not stackable, or that C21 is too strong.
Otherwise, he's balanced.
Oh, and Z flicking (the 180 degree turn you're talking about) is surprisingly hard to pull off. You should try playing Blight yourself before you make this kind of post (and if possible kindly provide us with a video of gameplay)
I get that it can feel very powerful at times, but it's still something that takes skill to pull off and is avoidable.

@SS007 said:
Blight is too difficult to play and can be only abused by pro players using high dpi mouse, blight needs a full rework so he becomes easier to play but less powerful since in his current state only pro pc players can use him.
It's really not that hard to learn him if you stick with it. I've gone from terrible to okay a week after switching to PC, and Dbd is one of the first games I've played on a PC.
