No I'm saying that people playing like that are forcing others to play with the same amount of sweatiness. The killer is not obligated to lie down and take sweaty plays like that. Just like if a survivor team isnt obligated to humor a killer if they tunnel from first chase.
So if you against more chill survivors with your sweaty build and sweaty tactics, what happens then? You’re just feeding that same cycle.
-
STBFL is so good on Demo. Build around it with Pop, BBQ, and a perk like Enduring that allows you to play aggressively with shred.
Floods of Rage is so good on Nurse. Build around it with…anything you want. When you get good at Nurse you don’t need to worry about what perks you put on. Just do anything you think would work well. Exposed perks and aura reading are evil.
MYC is so good on Dredge. Build around it with Pop, BBQ, and Maybe Floods of Rage.
-
Okay I’m sorry that would be hilarious
-
So you’re mad about a side playing in a way you don’t like so you’re playing in a way they don’t like because of that?
Sounds like you’re the one feeding the cycle lmao

Again this crap comment.
She doesn’t ignore every game mechanic. 🤡
Technically no, however looping, windows, and pallets are just suggestions with Nurse.

Saying a killer is balanced because many people aren't that good at them is about as good of a point as DH is balanced because some survivors use it into a wall.
-
I've noticed some patterns, yes

Monster requires a lot of effort to not die but I'm one of those psychopaths that enjoys it more than teen. Teen is still fun though, although overall I do prefer Dbd.

Oh wow. I'm not one for hyperbole, so I mean this sincerely, I have not had even ONE non-sweaty game. Not one. And I'm pretty generous on what my definition of "sweaty" is. Lots of things that people consider sweaty, I consider normal/fair gameplay. Send some of your good vibes my way please. I could use at least one wholesome farming game the next time I play.
If you see a Legion with Joey’s Christmas sweater and cosplay mask, nod at me and I shall farm with you
-
It’s a shame that so many events are like this.
Personally, I’ve had both extremes. My games are either very sweaty or just wholesome farming games. Not much in between those, though.
-
I guess I am invalid because of one player’s experience in one day

I've stopped playing legion temporarily because of 3 major issues :
- Rubberbanding, as you've said
- DEAD HARD. DEAD HARD. DEAD HARD. DEAD HARD!!!
- They have a bug where their 5th hit sometimes doesn't down.
Dead Hard D:

@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
Yeah, the rubber-banding is really bad currently. I had to stop playing Demogorgon because of how bad it is (can't use Shred at all, it gets canceled mid-animation or I get teleported backwards and miss my Shred).
Thank God Mommy has my back tho, rubber-banding doesn't affect her that much
You’ll need to clarify who she is lol.
Also, No Demo? D:

Joey supremacy! I just bought his gameplay expo body with the first batch of event shards. Not sure what mask to pair with it, though; I don't like the altered breathing that comes with the one from that set. Cool idea, annoying in practice.
The rubber banding hasn't been horrible to me - maybe once every five games, it pulls me back in a chase - but I am getting a lot of stuttering that's messing with skill checks.
The mask it comes with is cool but it sounds like Legion is in the next room over lol

@Slowpeach said:
Yay for Joey. I made a post in the creations section about Joey from another universe being a survivor if he refused Frank's order to kill and what his perks would be if you care to look.
I admittedly don't play too hard so rubberbanding while obviously a significant issue doesn't trouble me 'that' much. I know Legion is disliked by some for drawing the game out with mending simulator so I try keep the frenzy down. Only use it near the start when players are likely to be grouped up. Also in general and definitely at the moment with survivors needing to reach end game to get their masks, I'm trying not to hook anyone more than twice or well not killing them if they reach second stage.
I believe I’ve already left a comment on that post!

Pharmacy, faster looting (I am a loot goblin) and being able to bring another item but still ensure a medkit later is great.

But poor optimization is

I’m using the same outfit combo on Trickster, I also love how it looks with his rift recolor!
although I’m very terrible at him and humiliate myself whenever I play :,(
-
Most Killer mains only play killer, and if they do play survivor they won’t face many Spirits. Even if they do, even less will actually take the time to apply that experience and use it to their advantage when playing the Spirit.
My point is, Spirit is one of those killers that you need to play against to get good at. I don’t think many people bother to do it though.
-
Absolutely not lol
-
There's a "deadzone" where survivors you're looking at won't be stalked so try using this to your advantage when you're stalking someone who is next to a 99'd survivor. Hop in customs to get a feel for it first.
-
I've been wearing mine on Trickster, although I wouldn't say I main him.
this looks so great though! Also looks wonderful with the skin he has in the rift pass.
-
I’d love this too
he better joust survivors

- After a successful Killer Blind, the Killer suffers from the Blindness
- Status Effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
That’s the status effect (not being able to see auras) and not actually being blind.

Yeah I posted this in another thread, but it does bear repeating.
Killers...just can't win.
I mean, I've been groused at by survivors for killing them (hell, the game before this one I got cussed out for killing one person and letting three go on their final hook) and as you see here, I get groused at for letting survivors escape on their death hooks.
When I play survivor, I sometimes get salt for 'genrushing' or 'playing OP perks' (yes, because WOO, Lithe, BT and Spinechill is such an OP combination) but I'll generally try to give a non-camping killer a mercy kill if they get none, and I've only ever been thanked.
That is unfortunate that you got shamed for being nice lol

Thank you for providing "survivors are toxic too" manifesto #34 for today.

"improving the base kit" means buff survivor and nerf killers to the ground do you realize of that?
Survis will have even more perks to use because SWF and base kit will free even more slots. And they might do something stupid like add 10s to gens thinking that´s like "fair".
Lol if you say so

Oh I didn’t even notice that guy

Both can and will do this. People won't show mercy given any incentive if they don't want to.
It's just what some people do as soon as their name is hidden by online anonymity to relieve their however manifesting tendencies.
What’s wrong with this exactly? All I’m seeing is that…they escaped. They weren’t even running all meta.

OH. I see what you mean now.
- why does it matter
- There’s no word from bhvr WHY it was changed, and unless I’m wrong I’m curious how that was your first thought about why it was done
- ”The entity hungers…” just sounds more badass and ominous anyway

What does that mean

Gentle reminder, Killers only have 4 perks slots.
You can´t slow gens, have aura, whispers, franklin/lightborn and use the likes of Fearmonger and your favourite Hex.
Well with the perk changes, they’re also going to be improving the basekit so hopefully you won’t need to worry as much about that
-
Give the entity a snickers. You’re not you when you’re hungry.

this perk will never be good, because it helps survivors 99% their sprint burst. Depending on the changes to Spine Chill, it might receive a shadow buff. But as someone who either runs Sprint Burst or no exhaustion perks, Fearmonger is a joke.
@FilthyLegionMain said:

LIKE HELL IT WILL! Good sprint burst users will abuse Fearmonger since it'll be far easier to 99% it! I know because I always do that when it's in play!
I was actually referring to the blindness /s
You’re right, although I still think it’ll be slightly better than it is now. That or people will realize how bad it is.

I wonder what happens when you burn a Leon? Tremendously increases the odds that someone in your next trial will make a dopey flashbang attempt?

Mindbreaker, I mean- Fearmonger, may become a legitimately good perk on Sadako or Freddy

Clearly Flashbang meta is at last upon us

@Mozic said:
A ton of survivor perks that deny info to the killer (Distortion, Sole Survivor, Off the Record, Lightweight, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, & Lucky Break) are getting attention, which suggests pretty strongly that they want survivors to have more tools to evade the killer rather than rely solely on outrunning them. Spine Chill is also on the list as a plausible nerf.
I suspect the intention is to make the game scarier and reward survivors for playing in a high risk, stealthy style.
I would be very happy with that, honestly I used to hate stealth but now I’d be a big fan of it

Dang, I went through the whole thing and thought "oh nice! no one answered what it actually means. Now comes my time to shine!" only to find YOU in literally the last entry :V
I will add this: RSVP is an acronym for the french phrase "Répondez s'il vous plaît". Everything else you said still applies.
I’m sorry 😭
-
@TheMadCat said:
I don't know what RSVP means, but for the event, if you interact with an invitation during the match as a Survivor, you have to do it before the exit gates are opened or before the hatch is closed.
But you need to be alive when the exit gates are opened or the hatch is closed.
Fun fact of the day:
RSVP is an acronym that stands for a French phrase which translates to “respond, if you please”. It’s usually accompanied with an invitation so the receiver can confirm whether or not they will be attending the event.

-
They’ll announce more next week.
Also, big win for Coulrophobia enjoyers
-
There’s nothing forcing you to play killer or even this game at all lol
-
A JOEY POST!
Anyway, I like the idea of Joey going against Frank, as well as how you fleshed out his character more.
As for the perks, I like the totem one. I'm assuming that once you find a totem you can just tap it and come back to it later, which sounds really helpful for dealing with NOED and for hexes such as Plaything or Undying.
Scapegoat might be useful for tricking the killer or attracting attention, but it doesn't give you any benefit and there's no controlling when it activates. Imagine you're on the killer's Devour or NOED totem when this perk activates, or if you're trying to heal? My changes to the perk would be-
- When the killer would receive a loud noise notification, press the active ability button to activate Scapegoat, revealing your aura to the killer for 10/8/6 seconds.
- Scapegoat allows you to see the killer's aura in return.
Defiant resolve seems pretty good, but there are other things you can use like exhaustion perks to take a protection hit and get out of there without being broken and with the opportunity to use it for more things throughout the match. Instead of being broken, what if you healed over the next 40/30/20 seconds? This wouldn't be that abusable either because you won't be in a position to bodyblock a killer for 20 seconds. This timer could even pause while in a chase or something.
