This is both wrong and toxic. Do you not understand how incredibly condescending this logic is? I main Nurse and have gone against good Nurse players. No Nurse is guessing perfectly every time. I also find it funny that there are survivor mains in here saying she doesnβt take skill when a literal monkey could play survivor.
Talk is cheap.
Back up your chest thumping and show us how simple playing survivor is since a "literal monkey" can play it.

Typical of this entitled generation, do a quarter of the work but expect the same pay as the person doing 4 times your output.
Entitled is thinking you deserve more BP than anyone else because you play a particular side. Totally tone deaf.

It's a 7 year old game with a lot of issues which sadly, the Devs don't really seem like acknowledging, much less making meaningful changes.
If you're a survivor main your whole experience is based on how nice/fair the killer you're playing against wants to play.
Solo queue has become nothing but sacrificial lambs for BHVR's precious killer mains and hitting whatever statistical % they are chasing to justify unpopular changes to the game.
Bad and illogical decision making is being made solely based on "power role" or "killer has to be scary" without any thought of long term repercussions or health of the game except for one side.
How many games in a row do people have to get utterly demolished before it is acceptable to speak out or be listened too? It took them 7 years to admit that yes, face camping is really un fun for anyone but the camper. Killer mains constantly parrot on the forums how hard tunneling and camping is just part of the game and survivors are supposed to just accept it. And like it apparently.
These are just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on and on about MMR and how bad map re-works/RNG have negatively impacted match quality, but I realize nothing is going to substantially change.

Some killers are dependent on these close hits.
By close you mean hits that aren't even close to hitting that killers have been given for years?

If you're going to start nerfing perks basely solely based on pick rates than the same goes for killer mains.
I cannot wait to see all the man tears from the entitled killer base on the forums when all their favorite OP perks get flushed down the toilet.

- New HUD to give more infos to no-SWFs
- MFT + Hope + Resilience + Arenaline
- Distorsion
- New BNP is pretty strong actually
It has never been easier to win as survivor. High MMR survivors have an easy time in soloQ/DuoQ, i personnaly do. Let's not talk about SWFs as on my side we get 3 escapes most of the times.
I dunno how survivor mains can even think that the game is not survivor sided or balanced. It is not balanced and that is why there are less and less killers.
I'm a 50/50 players. I will admit that i escape way less than before the overall of the game, at that time i had above 90% escape rate in SWFs; today it is around 75/70% in SWFs. It is still way too high.
The last changes the devs have brought to the table have just made the game worse gameplay wise, many things are frustrating : long healing, no self heal possible, longer gens. But they have also brought some perks that make the chases extremely easy : MFT and WOO mostly. Resilience stack with those perks perfectly and then use Botany/Distorsion/WWMI/Adrenaline/Hope and you have a perfect META build, unbeatable by most killers if all 4 survivors use it.
The killers kill rate in the stats provided by the devs means nothing as the MMR will give you an impossible to win trial and once you have lost once or twice iwith those parameters, the MM will give you easy games to even out the kill rate around 60%.
If you look in tournament, the kill rate is barely 50% while the survivors have huge restriction on their build (single perk, single&low grade item etc...).
The game is still extremely survivor sided. I do not say that killers cannot win those games, they can but they have to try hard so much compared to survivors that this is not fair at all.
You're entitled to your own opinion but I think you're intentionally embellishing for dramatic flair.
90% escape rate? Thats very difficult for me to believe. If you're such a DBD survivor savant why even play killer? Show us some gameplay? Talk is cheap.
Going on and on about "meta" perks with survivors is the very definition of using bad logic. A lot of survivors (including myself) never use meta perks. That pretty much shatters all the bad faith arguments constantly being parroted by killer mains .
Solo queue is an abysmal state. And has been for a long time. The myth that hud changes made a significant change to solo queue is demonstrably false. It was a basic QOL feature that shouldn't have taken 7 years to implement.
I cannot speak for SWF and "Seal Team Six" squads that killer mains constantly use as reasons to buff killers for. BHVR's own stats have dis spelled this myth but yet, its used in bad faith as justification for massive changes when killers get smoked by coordinated people who know how to deal with killers that can only hard tunnel and proxy camp for their wins.

That's a fair point. However I'd argue they must use it to measure skill because if you aren't, then that is not objectively a measure of the games health, if you aren't taking into account your skill.
So if you're hypothetically playing like garbage then that wouldn't be a true measure of the games health, because your experience is being skewed by playing bad.
Then you'd end up pushing for changes to make your experience better instead of simply getting better at the game, which would have solved those issues.
You would make a great politician.
What exactly are you trying to imply here? That you're 60-90% escape rate is a sign that DBD is in a great state?
-
@Peanits said:
So two things on that:
- DC penalties do not 'reset', they slowly decay over time. If your penalties were really long, it's possible they still haven't fully decayed when you came back.
- I'm not sure what you expected to happen.
How about some transparency in regards to what exactly the policy is then? Players shouldn't have to guess what their "penalty" actually is.

A top team lost the game.
What is the problem?
The team that has made a mockery of countless killers lost.
They say that if the top team lost then other people don't stand a chance.
The reality is that that team proves that the game has a serious imbalance and is completely in favor of the survivors.
there is no problem with the SM, there are very few people who use it.
There are many killers the probability of facing a SM is very low.
And yet there are SM who do not know how to use drones.
I play the 2 rolls and in solo Q I have beaten the SM and also in premade.
The SM is not broken, it just forces survis to play smart and give hooks early in the game to break the 3gen. If they do it and break the 3gen the SM will have lost the game.
The SM has no potential in chase, if at least 3 survs steal drons then she loses a lot of her potential to take care of 3gen.
Don't tell me she is invincible, because you are afraid to play properly.
What is really worrying is that there is a team with more than 550 wins.
The perks they use should be analyzed and the necessary nerfs should be applied.
It is more probably to face that team that abuses resources and tools than to face the SM that defeated them.
In short, if you can't take on a SM, you just don't know how to play and that's your problem and not the others.

I understand he's pretty difficult to use and a lot to learn especially for controller players however, if you put the work into him he's a solid killer and probably one of the more fun killers to play as. Sure there's others who are more fun then Singularity like Wesker, Pinhead, etc but, I do recommend putting some time into Singularity.
Fun for who exactly? You?
Most of those matches were one sided slaughters, and it looks like most of the survivors just gave up.
GJ. I guess.

Thats highly debatable.
-
Sadly, probably not.
Netflix has its own line of games (basically crappy mini games, like for tablets and phones) and that includes Stranger Things game(s).
-
The vast majority of killer mains play DBD because they suck at other PVP games and like the one sided experience BHVR enables.
-
I still run that outfit on my Dwight, mostly as respect for Puppers, it was one of his favorite outfits.
-
Games tend to snowball out of control very early in killers favor, especially in solo queue.
There are some killers that will back off a bit and allow players to get some points before they kill them, but this is a rarity.
Most killers see this as an opportunity to taunt, bully and wildly shake their heads while flailing away at the hapless survivors on hook.
I cannot really blame people for leaving games in protest; DBD is not in a good state right now.

Removing hook grabs is the real problem because all it really does is ensure that survivors can get consequence free unhooks in the end game after the gates have opened.
I mean how would you like it if we removed the hatch?
Might as well remove it for as situational and janky as hatch "gameplay" has become now. Remove keys as well, they literally serve no purpose other than something cool in your hand in the lobby.
If that's your argument, you need to do better.

So now devs confirmed they are open for rebalancing maps if they favor one side so much.
This is good, i support this.
But i am just curious will we ever get changes for Midwich and Saloon?
Both of maps are so small which means easy to patrol for killers.
Both of maps have terrible loops. Midwich has 2 - 3 god pallets and that's all. Saloon has strong main build but rest of map is full with terrible pallets.
Both of these maps needs some nerf for make them a bit balanced for survivors. Midwich had highest killrate when they shared data last time. I don't think Saloon is different as well.
2 or 3 god pallets? Thereβs one decent pallet on the whole damn map and itβs on the 1st floor, by the stairwell going up.
