I never planned on buying Pinhead to begin with, so the loss of his voice lines doesn't phase me one bit.
-
Because she's ugly. I wouldn't punish my weapon by hitting her either.
-
Nurse took 4 years? to get nerfed. Just wait, it'll come eventually.
-
Bruh 😐
-
I was able to grab hold of Nea's 'Mashtyx' hoodie before the store got overhauled. It actually looks really nice for how simple it is. Far nicer than the images above.
-
Only certain survivors need toned down.
Yui, Yun-Jin, and Elodie are the characters that come to mind.
-
Paulie Esther rumored to be the VA.
-
Lethal Pursuer - Make it base-kit.
Lightweight - Give it the exact opposite effect of Predator.

Yet another post claiming their "right" for easy 4k 🙄
If you think you lost by letting one person escape, then you are wrong. It has been said many times that every killer is balanced around 2k, but in order to escape with the key gens needed to be done as well as some people to be killed. If you failed to catch those people - that's your loss and not a problem with keys or rng.
Every killers is balanced around a 2K yet killer adepts require a 4K, and most of the archive challenges require you to sacrifice survivors are get 3-4 kills in a match. You lose out on trophies and challenge progress/completion because of terrible RNG.
-
BHVR is constantly describing killer as "the power role." Killer is meant to be on top; meant to have an advantage, but that's almost never the case.
-
It just looks better, guys.
-
Haddonfield 4 games in a row sure is fun.

Another question, BE cant sell demogorgon, but will steam keys that unlock this dlc still be working?
Most likely. The Nightmare Edition of the game for consoles includes the Stranger Things chapter and is only purchasable in physical format, so you'll also be able to get the chapter that way.

You'll find yourself in a lot of situations where you'll be like "if only I had Flip-Flop." It's slept on quite a lot, but there are certainly better options.
-
The servers are falling apart. I can't play a single match without teleporting backward. And I know it isn't the current performance issues, because the killer gets incredibly disoriented too, and the game doesn't freeze as it should.
-
It'll most likely be something we get next year. Hopefully Haddonfield will be a part of the changes.
-
It's different for each survivor. Jeff and Ash can be heard from quite a large distance, whereas Ace and Kate require you to be much closer, especially if they're crouched.
-
It's another build that lets you go on auto-pilot. However, smart loopers will learn to throw pallets incredibly early, completely negating half of your build.
-
This is why Flip-Flop has become one of my favorite perks as of recent.
-
Just be mindful that Blight gets extremely unfair hits during lethal rush attacks. What normaly would not hit you will hit you during a lethal rush. Keep this in mind when going for a vault or pallet or rounding a corner.
-
Wdym. CoD has worse hitboxes than DBD
Anyhow, it's the trash servers, not hitboxes. 90% of the issues you experience in a match are due to the poor upkeep of the dedicated servers.

How exactly is the pallet mechanic highly flawed? The sever rejects the last action. So either the pallet is dropped first or the killer hits first but has terrible internet. Why should the other players suffer from poor latency?
The vaults you speak of are not part of the new hit validation system. They have only added pallet stuns. The vaults are the same old spaghetti code as before.
Vault hits have been a problem since the original hit validation was introduced. However, survivors with bad connection that drop a pallet get priority over the killer who has good connection. Pallet has to be 50% down is a lie too. Pallet drop animation could be 5% complete and you still lose the hit.

I'm pretty sure it's only gotten better for killers, in general, compared to how the olden days Dbd was. Not saying things are currently great, but it's definitely not worse than it used to be. Well, unless you're talking about bugs and crappy servers.
Since about early 2020, the killer experience has only worsened.
-
Nurse will stay at the top for as long as the game lives because BHVR is simply too scared to make strong killers anymore. With McLean gone, we'll probably get a bunch of recycling of average killer powers.
-
Footstep bug and the removal of Stridor Spirit.
-
Unless you have Deliverance and DS, then you can do absolutely nothing.
-
DBD isn't balanced. In fact, it never has been, and it's been getting much worse for killers with every mid-chapter update.
-
Welcome to the family

The matchmaking places you in matches that have the fairest ping, it won't place you in a different continent but it also has to place your teammates or opponents as well so everyone has a fair connection. Your description of what you wanted was blatantly incorrect because the host was the killer, and the killer was able to manipulate their connection to gain an advantage over the survivors.
TLDR: P2P was not "determined by the player with the best connection to the lobby." It was determined by the killer who could manipulate their connection to gain an advantage. The Dedicated servers can't just place you at the closest server when the other player's ping is also taken into consideration when matchmaking you.
I stand by what I said, you are blatantly not understanding how it works. If you want resources to help understand what exactly is being used I recommend reading this
Joining a lobby with 200 ms+ is certainly not being placed in a fair ping match.

How tf do I get back to page 1 to read the original post?

More like "you can't please anyone, devs."

I do use DS+UN+Deli, but not for these reasons. I use UN because I like to play the game, not stay in the ground for 2 minutes while the killer chases other people. I use deliverance and DS because I frequently get campy killers and my teamates don't manage to unhook me, so I unhook myself. If that's the case, if the killer still want refuses to divide their pressure and chase me, I will give him more time chasing me since he likes chasing me that much.
You're very cringe and you don't know.
Don't want to get DS'd? Divide your pressure between different survivors.
Don't want to people recover from the ground? Don't let them in the ground! (OMG, I'm so smart!)
Someone self-unhooked because they are broken? Nobody is there healing because they can't be healed! Look close for a gen, someone probably is gen-rushing instead of going to save their teammate!
How hard is this? ROFL.
You just proved my point by saying you use the perks to be completely untouchable.
These three perks just negate any pressure the killer has. And in a game where a 30-second chase can cost you 2 gens, slugging is about the only option. That's why so many games end in 3 kills with 5 or 6 hooks. The killer is forced to slug because they can't do anything else. Got a 4-man SWF on Haddonfield? Guess you just lose.

Actually it was all determined by the host, which was the killer. Which is why lag switching killers were often complained about. Even since the Dedicated Servers hit priority was given to the killer regardless of their ping. Now its based off of who has the fastest connection to the server they are connected to. What you said is blatantly incorrect.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2463859#Comment_2463859
If they had the feedback delayed until each hit was validated I would lose my mind. The instant feedback means in the majority of your hits you won't notice anything because the feedback was instant, it only becomes noticeable when your input reaches the server after the survivors input did. Otherwise every hit would feel disconnected and janky even worse than it is now.
It's not incorrect if it's what I want for the game. Every action being determined by the player with the best ping would be an incredibly healthy change. The dedicated servers are barely stable. You could live next to them and still be getting 80+ ms.

THIS!!!! I keep complaining about this trash system but it seems most of the playerbase lives on 70+ ping and has no idea. They keep trying to explain it t me but every explanation boils down to survivor pressed space on their screen that is 2m ahead of what the killer sees. the server stores that and dooms the killer when they go to make the hit on their screen in their perceived reality of time.
AKA survivor client sided.
I'd rather go back to peer-to-peer and have everything be determined by the player with the best ping in the lobby. This way, players who are laggy for any abundance of reasons will not receive unfair advantages.

Active Totems now show up in pink to show where your totem is anyways a good trapper is overpowered as it is
Trapper is one of the worst killers in the game. He suffers at red ranks, and literally cannot win at extremely high MMR.
-
I'd love to compare the cosmetics roadmap to the balance and game health roadmap. It would literally have quintuple the amount of dates.

If they generify the perks then they can do whatever to them balance wise. Unless Steve and Nancy had magical superpowers that replicate the perks here then there's no connection between the two.
on DBD mobile Nemesis, Leon and Jill's perks are generic instead.
The issue stems from people that already own the Stranger Things DLC and the perks. These people will keep the original perks, their icons, and their names. They're still licensed, and therefore nothing can be done to them.
-
This is an intended feature. Just another horrible addition that killers are forced to deal with.
-
Having a hit/down taken from you because of this new, highly flawed mechanic can mean the difference between winning and losing a match. It's a nightmare for killers that already lose hits because of their extremely low ping. For example, as a survivor, I'll get hit after the vault animation has finished, but as the killer, I'll lose hits when the survivor is mid-vault. Incredibly unfair for players with 20 ms ping to lose because the opposing player has 100 ms ping.
-
DS, Corrupt, and Kindred, and Thrill of The Hunt should all be base-kit.
-
yeah, it's one rework that did nothing to address the problems the map had. Bad collision still exists, and it still has back-to-back pallet spawns. In fact, I'd go as far as to say the map was buffed for survivors due to the huge buff the main building got.
-
I've thought of getting it just so I can say I have it, but outside of that reason, there is none to purchase it.
-
Want an extra health state? Dead Hard
Want another extra health state? DS
Want yet another extra health state? Unbreakable
Want to save a ton of time after getting hooked? Deliverance
Want to be literally invincible? Deliverance + DS + Unbreakable
-
Blight isn't the problem, it's the trio of Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer. It's a scummy build on other top tier killers too though.
Your point on survivors getting nerfed whenever killers want it says you main survivor. Killers get nerfed every, even ones that don't deserve it. Billy for example did not an overheat mechanic. Killers and survivors alike were against the change, but BHVR went through with it because newbie surv mains complained.
-
Demo is jack-of-all-trades, master of none. He's got everything a killer needs: teleportation, free info, and a secondary attack, but other killers do it better than him.
Still my main though!
-
I'll be 100% honest: I learned to loop by watching Tru3ta1ent. Of course, I do my own mindgames and plays to confuse the killer/survivors, but I most certainly would not be a good looper without Tru3.

Huntress is the only killer who needs nerfs because of servers. Australia sized hatchets are so fun
Rubber hatchets are so fun

As killer the system is amazing. Fair and fun matches every time as long as you keep a decent point value.
As survivor, however, the system was horrendous. Really good killers and horrible survivors. It made every match unwinnable.
