I was looking through Xbox gamestore and came across DBD, at first I thought it would be something like walking dead or Until dawn, there was a campaign and there was a group of survivors keep exploring to places where there are iconic slashers trying to kill them, but instead I found out it was a multiplayer, I then watched Tru3ta1ent on his stream with his PTB with the new killer, The Clown (Hense why I love Clown). I finally bought DBD when I got a gift card for Christmas last year, and I somewhat regret it but, mostly am happy I got it

Spirit and Oni use Katanas
Freddy uses gardening glove claws

So yeah, not that many knife users
(Pig really doesn't count as hers kinda ejects from her sleeve)
EDIT: Really quickly gotta add context for anyone who doesn't look in detail to his Great Knife, Pyramid Head's great knife is the half blade of scissors. Thank James Sunderland and the birth creator of Pyramid Head Masahiro Ito for confirming this for us
Really Pyramid heads blade was that of scissors I thought it was a chefs knife?

Just one question for fans of this series. Is the bear and fox also people, or are they actually animatronic? From what I've read I'm guessing the latter, but I'm hoping they are also humans in suits so we could have more options for killer skins.
To answer your question the bear and the fox: Their names are Freddy and Foxy, there isn't human bodies inside the animatronics but there are children souls, the man called William Afton aka Springtrap, murdered them for experimentations. However they were resurrected by a previous victim of Aftons who is called the Puppet, she resurrected them and now they hunt seeking revenge for their deaths, so hopefully that answers your question

That's because her friends forced her to be, Julie is the most psychotic of the bunch, next to Frank. Susie was that girl who wanted to fit in, in tome 3 cutscene for Legion shes in the background cowering at what shes watching, in the lore she barely took a jab at the body of the Janitor

I actually think that Dr Blanchard/Doctors' teacher is and call me crazy Josef Mengele or some other high ranking Nazi scientist. It would make sense, in his tome, I'm not sure which memory, but Doctor got phrases that stook out to me the most, 'fourth' and 'Reich', I immediately thought of Nazis. In history the Fourth Reich actually was a group of Nazis who fled justice after ww2 to South America in Countries like Argentina and Brazil, some even fled to the U.S. as a way to reform Nazism but struggled and possibly failed during the Cold War. Two of them as far as I remember were Adolf Eichmann the Architect of the Holocaust, and Josef Mengele the Angel of Death. Both have died, Eichmann was caught, was brought to Jerusalem, was trialed, and was executed for his crimes. Mengele wasn't caught but presumably commited Suicide to escape justice.
That's all I know however, but I do know some of the nazi scientists were committed to work for the U.S. under project PAPERCLIP during the Cold war, which is the exact time Herman Cater/Doctor was around. So it isn't to far fetched that his teacher was a Nazi.

-Tranforming killer (into survivors or objects)
-Tiny killer (think like chucky) Victor is similar but not the sole killer, he's only a part.
-Killer who changes the map (IE can create impassable walls) Like a killer that controls ice and could build temporary ice walls to block loops or parts of the map temporarily.
What scares me is that they only have a hand few options for unique killer powers now

Blight is good, hes well designed, but his collision is bugged with newer maps mostly, plus his pov

THe perks are good, Like first perk Top security, thats a good combo with distressing doctor, I like it.
2nd perk is a bit confusing so its basically Monitor+ dark devotion.
3rd perk is basically blood warden on steroids is what I'm getting at, thats strong on its own.

I always tend to do that, i don't get why people get so pissed over it. Literally I had an injured Jane the Exit gates were open, I was playing Slinger, I chased her around a truck next to the exit gate, she knew if she left the loop I can get her. She tried to run but I got and she raged so stupidly it was hilarious. I'm like dude you realize you couldn't survive that right.

I like that some one else agrees, I actually wrote a short story to celebrate clowns rework, and his attitude towards the survivors were brutal as hell. I didn't post it because I fear it may actually be touchy for some people. In one point in the story, Feng literally is trying to free from Clowns' grasp but hits him, It angers Clown so he slammed her head against the caravan, threw her to the ground and continued to beat the literal ######### out of her until her face is distorted and bruised. She tries to escape but Clown grabs his knife and plunges it into her neck and dragged it along her neck, blood spraying everywhere. yeah I don't see me posting that and not getting in trouble. lol
To answer your question: he did live with her drunk dad and I think he was bullied for a deformity with his nose ( From his cosplay guide). So you can kinda guess how it was

Well depends on what your looking for, if you want horror, I recommend Outlast, RE 7, and Village when it comes out, and maybe Bendy and the ink machine.
Now fantasy, I highly recommend Ori and the Blind Forest, and WIll of the wisps, the art in those games are beautiful AF with gorgeous soundtrack.
Phasmophobia is pretty entertaining.
But that's just me

I just wanted to say that I've been through similar circumstances. 2020 was the absolute worst year of my life, and it put me in a very dark place. I've never been clinically diagnosed, but I'm fairly certain I have depression on a minor level. I know what it feels like to not have the energy to get up.
What helped me get out of this cycle though, was these two things.
- Find something to believe in. I don't really now how to word this, but try to find a goal of some kind. For me, this was Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Seeing how Jack Baker treated his family (before he was infected) was heartwarming. It made me want to have a family of my own, so that I could be a good dad like him. When I'd start having bad thoughts, I'd think to myself, don't give up, you'll start a family, you'll be a father one day.
- Confront the problem. For me, this was finally confronting my alcoholic mother. I was able to convince her to get treatment. Ever since then, things have been a lot better, and my mother has gone from the brink of being fired, to working hard again.
Since I don't know you personally, I don't know if these two things will help you like they helped me, but I hope from the bottom of my heart that they do. Remember, even if it seems like no one cares about you, there will always be someone who does.
I know it ain't much, but if you ever need to talk, I'm here.
You know I got to think those thoughts.
@unsafepallet I get it man, 2020 ######### sucked, I personally felt trapped, and a loss of sanity. But I got through it with people I trusted, and sharing good laughs with some forum users. Point is you gotta have high hopes, only then can you achieve your goals. Just remember your not alone, there are good people all around you that you may have not seen, you just need to know where to look.

Yes, I actually wanted to see what Tbagging at exit gate was like but I wasn't close enough, Bubba came in downed me, and I just sat there laughing my ass off at my stupidity

There’s blood, murder, executions, abuse in the past of some killers, one killer that regurgitates at will. You can leave survivors to die, you can choose to kill, or be a survivor running away from a murderer. For a game that can be silly at times, there’s also a lot of triggering points in this game.
That being said, I do agree with you that there should be a bit more uh, detail.
I agree but with how buggy the game is/ how old, creating those kind of gory visuals will be difficult especially with the coding. That doesn't mean it isn't welcomed

Sure, and vince did say he wanted all indie horrors represented in monsters & mortals and that there was some upcoming guest characters in 2021 including a major AAA title aswell in his latest livestream, so i'm really excited for that.
But still, i think having DBD in another title for a change would be something i would like to see more, as it just means more recognition for DBD, and i think a cross promotion between the two could benefit both parties even more.
Yeah honestly though if Monsters and mortals is agreat success who knows it'll be a testement to Indie gaming

I wouldn’t mind Leon, but Jill would fit better considering she was the one Nemesis pursued for the entire game. Maybe he could be a second Survivor but I doubt it considering his lack of connections to the events of RE3. I think he’ll end up as a legendary outfit to Chris or Carlos, unless we get something from RE2, 4, or 6 in the future. Maybe a Birkin + Leon chapter?
Honesly William Birkin imo would be better as a legendary skin for Blight, like instead of Pustules serum, its the G virus serum he injects. I think Mr. X is a better bet

For me It would be Fnaf, Outlast ( With Richard Trager or Chris Walker). RE ( Preferably Mr. X, or Nemesis would be ok I guess). Another Circus themed chapter ( With an actual them park this time!), A pirate themed chapter, Candyman, Jason, or even My Bloody Valentine ( Hopefully to redeem the classic, and bring it to a grander light)
