My First Killer was Michael Myer's because it is Michael Myers.
My first survivor however was actually Bill, with me not knowing at the time he was a licensed character, but since I found out he was a licensed character, that only made me like his character ark even more.
-
@Karao_Ke You know what, that could actually work.
So who exactly owns the rights to Slenderman though is my question?
-
Although I don't know what killer I want this to be Implemented in, it would be cool if we got a killer that moves faster when not being looked at.
-
@notstarboard Ya I guess that does make some sense.
-
@velosinhooo Ya I always like to think that he was taken right after the sacrifice campaign as canon, even though it is non canon.
-
It would honestly be cool if we got something Half-Life 2 related in the game, but if not that, I would have to go with Trevor Phillips from GTA 5 as a survivor in Dead By Daylight, and although I never played the game for reasons, I do know enough about him and from what I've seen he seems pretty cool.
-
For Bill I think it was from 2008-2009 if I'm not mistaken.
-
I think a prop hunt-like game mode would be pretty legit.

@miketheratguy Ya, heck I even made a concept for a Return Of The Living Dead Chapter a while back which in my opinion is probably the most unique chapter concept I did so far.
@DBDude said:
So hello again and I'm back with my first (on the forums) chapter concept, and this time being a horror franchise no one even thinks about when talking about what chapters they want in the game, and that is one of the most Iconic Zombie franchises out there, being my personal favorite (along with Left 4 Dead) Zombie Franchise...…
Return Of The Living Dead.
Ok so if you haven't see Return Of The living Dead, the practical effects are amazing, the characters are funny/cool, the soundtrack is so 80's, and after all, this movie did invent the whole Zombie eating Brains kind of thing.
So with all that out of the way lets start of with The killer, his power, and map, and later a survivor.
So I thought this one through, and its pretty obvious we know who the killer is gonna be.....
Tar man.
Easily one of the most Iconic Zombie's to date, Tar Man was the best choice for a killer I could come up with from that franchise, so first of all, lets go over some stats.
Tar Man's in-game name, The Undead.
Tar Man's Speed, 4.4/110%.
Tar Man's Terror Radius, 24 meters.
Tar Man would also be a medium sized killer.
Ok so now for the fun part, his power, with that power being called Living Dead.
So at the start of the trail, 4 out of the 7 gens would contain Trioxin, the deadly gas used to convert the living to the dead. (Oh and please know that when you bring corrupt intervention, 2 out of the 4 gens would contain Trioxin.)
When a survivor works on, or even taps a gen that contain Trioxin in it, the Trioxin will come out of the gen and knock a survivor to their sides for 5 seconds.
And note that when this happens, the Trioxin will no longer be on that gen, but instead would transfer into a different gen.
Similar to Plagues vomit, the Trioxin Meter will fill up over time.
When the meter is 1/4 filled up, The survivors have a slowdown on fixing gens, healing, etc.
When the meter is 2/4 filled up, Fake Gens, Totems, etc. Will start to appear, similar to fake pallets and all that.
When the meter is 3/4 filled up, The survivors skin starts to turn pale, along with a fault speed decrease.
When the meter is 4/4 filled up, the survivors fission becomes blurry, along with going into the broken status effect.
BUT as survivor, there is a cure to this, with that cure being these shots that are scattered across the map, and these shots are the ones that are from return of the living dead part 3.
When a survivor uses 1 shot, they go back to 3/4
When a survivor uses 2 shots, they go back to 2/4
When a survivor uses 3 shots, they go back to 1/4
When a survivor uses 4 shots, they are completely back to normal.
For a secondary ability, wherever Tar Man walks, he leaves a small trail of Tar behind him, and when Survivors step in this they become Hindered as long as there stepping in the tar.
For his weapon he would use his own hands, and his animation for when he lands a successful hit would have his arm falling off, then the entity would regrow his arm.
For his appearance it would be based off his Return Of the Living Dead 1 design, with his Return Of the Living Dead 2 appearance being a cosmetic.
So as for his Mori, Tar man would grab the survivor's head, say his ever iconic line, with that line being "BRAINS!" And then takes a bite out of the survivors Brain.
So as for survivor, I thought and thought about this one, and why not have it be one of the main protagonists of the film, Tina. I think she has that final girl aspect to her and would make a good addition to the roster of survivors.
As for map, it's pretty obvious that its going to be the Medical Supply center seen in the first film, with the main gens being located in the the basement AND in the graveyard.
So there you have it, my concept for a return of the living dead chapter, which I would love to see but it's probably unlikely, but ya that's all I have to say.
-
Return Of The Living Dead is so much of a great zombie film to a point where I don't know why I barely hear people talk about it, like seriously, It's a Zombie Movie Classic and is a Franchise I would love to see inside Dead By Daylight.
-
My favorite games are The entire Plant Vs Zombies trilogy (except Heroes and Battle For Neighbor Ville), Garry's Mod, Dead By Daylight, Godzilla The Game PS4, Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, and Jurassic World Evolution.
-
Well I mean, they could introduce more Left 4 Dead content which could lead up with the Left 4 Dead AI Director Implemented into the game, I honestly don't know how that would work, but it would be cool.
-
Ya Fungoose is and always will be easily one of the best Content Creators within the Dead By Daylight Community in my opinion, but that shouldn't be an opinion, that should be a fact.
-
@fogdonkey Ya sorry about that, at this point I'm even confusing myself.
-
@thefallenloser Ya the bad thing about the Evil Dead paragraph was that it was just one survivor, but the good thing was is that it was the man himself, Ash Williams.
-
@Science_Guy Oh your fine, sorry for making it a bit confusing. But ya I agree with you on the Halloween chapter.
-
@Beelzeboop Ya no matter what Halloween is either The King of the Castle or the man in the village.
-
@Tatariu Ya Resident Evil is honestly amazing, easily one of the best chapters for sure.
-
@RyRapsYT Ya and as of this momently I am currently grinding blood points to level her up and gain her teachable perks.
-
@landromat Ya Leather Face is extremely fun to play as and against.
-
@Marc_go_solo Ya and the funny things is is that I first downloaded Dead By Daylight on May 26th, 2020, the exact day the Silent Hill chapter was announced, and I tell ya the first 2-3 months in Dead By Daylight was some of the most nostalgic stuff to ever happen to me.
-
@whiteowl Ya and ever since Demogorgon got his buff he feels a lot more better to play.
-
@Seiko300 Ya not only the Ghost Face mask is iconic in Dead By Daylight, it is iconic throughout the entire horror genre.
-
@Cornpopers_Evan Ya with Stranger Things, Silent Hill, And Resident Evil being the most recent Licensed chapters which were all amazing, I have a feeling that their only going to get better and better with licensed chapters.
-
@TheGannMan Ya Haddonfield was such a letdown, but at least it's getting a rework.
-
@ChurchofPig Ya it would have been absolutely phenomenal if ya got The Evil Dead 2 Cabin as a map and some deadite as a killer (With that deadite in my opinion could be Evil Ash from Army of Darkness.)
-
@CheeseAnton Ya but I have the most likely feeling that Resident Evil would still be a great chapter when it hits live servers.
-
@DistortedDream Ya Silent Hill and Resident Evil to me feel like there on the same level, and that level is the most awesome chapters in the game level.
-
@Jarol Ya if we were to get Classic Freddy then that would have been a dream come true, And I definitely with you on the Halloween chapter.
-
@Pet_The_Lizards Ya Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 was my personal favorite, and leather face overall just seems like a killer that is fun to play as and to play against.
-
@DwightFairfield Ya Resident Evil is definitely going to be an amazing chapter, but not only that but because of the Resident Evil chapter this is the first time ever that we see...
Leon and Jill team up. (Not counting Resident Evil Reverse.)
And we also see Left 4 Dead, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil, 3 of the biggest Horror gaming franchises of all time, collide into one game.
Just imagine seeing William "Bill" Overbeck, Cheryl Mason, Leon S. Kennedy, and Jill Valentine being chased down by Nemesis in Silent Hill's Midwich Elementary School, It's just so crazy that this became a reality.
-
@GeneralV Ya I kinda feel like The Nightmare on Elm Street Chapter is really underrated chapter, and what they were able to do with all they got for the License was absolutely incredible even though I can see why some people don't like it.
And to be honest I definitely don't dislike going against Ghost Face, It's just that he can very easily be taking out of his power, or hard depending on the situation.
But In general I usually Find Playing as and against licensed characters is really fun, not to say that the originals aren't fun, but Licensed characters is so cool to play as because of how cool that character and that franchise is.
-
@Lochnload_exe I was as close as a perfect Hamburger.
-
@CoalTower Thanks, I didn't expect my theory to be actually mostly correct so to my surprise this is a big surprise.
-
@Hoodied Even though we didn't get Nemesis with a rocket launcher, he sure did in the trailer tossed Meg a dog's chew toy.
-
@onemind I really liked what you did with with the whole infection and curing Mechanic, and the Stars Rush seems like a very fun and fast ability to do, great job.
-
@onemind Sure
-
@Luciferr_2nd Ya they would most likely Have a map from the 1st or 2nd, the survivors from 2, and the killer from 3, and having all that is definitely considered Iconic.
-
@Aexel Ya I'm kind of maybe certain that It's gonna be focused on the first 3 games.
-
@some_guy1 Ya Dead By Daylight having steam workshop I do admit is most likely not gonna happen.
-
@mama_3000 Tbh I can see mostly Hunter working because if we were to go with Smoker, he would kind of feel like another Death Slinger, and I'm not saying that Smoker is not cool, because he's pretty awesome, but Hunter for a power Could leap across the map and jump and land on survivors, which would be pretty cool to see.
-
@RenDesune That Witch concept you made is actually pretty legit.
-
@piggygooik Although I think the Witch just fits the game more in general, Tank after all was the very infected that killed Bill, so I think he makes just a bit more sense.
-
@RenDesune Ya I could imagine that being a bit of an issue on Tank, but as long as everything goes right then The Tank is gonna be a beast to deal with.
-
@LegionOfDumb I would personally love a return of the living dead chapter to be in the game one day, I even made a concept for a return of the living dead chapter a while back too.

@Anara Ya especially chapter 19, such a wasted opportunity to get a map.
-
@ShrimpTwiggs Ya you can make the killers duke it out in Garry's Mod, but other than that that's about it.
-
@Lefrongo I would honestly love a Hide and seek and a 2v8 game mode.
-
@glitchboi I mean after all, DBD is on the Nintendo switch...….
