@Wiitab360 Alien is inevitable as well.
-
@ItzZane_ That is also true.
-
@ItzZane_ Ya it would either be those guys or Felix and Blight.
-
@ItzZane_ That is true.
-
@ItzZane_ Still it would be cool to see a licensed character be the main character of a completely different franchise.
-
@LegionOfDumb Ya and tbh I found the first Godzilla movie kind of boring, but don't get me wrong it was a great and scary film.
But I do agree that Godzilla Final Wars is awesome.
-
@Karao_Ke Ya the theater experience is honestly awesome, and I do agree on the action and the humans.
Sorry I forgot to mention this but the KOTM soundtracks is honestly some of the best in the series.
-
@SnakeSound222 I went to go see Godzilla Vs. Kong in the theaters, and holy cow it was honestly a blast.
-
@Dr_Loomis Ya I thought that Godzilla (2014) was a bit lackluster because of the lack of monster fights that were in that film.
-
I would buy it only if the killers perks and power are good or at least decent, just like I buy other Killers.
-
I'm pretty sure the entity would have been dead by now.
-
@PantlessMyers Ya The Twins were definitely the most unique killer to come out of 2020.
-
@SnakeSound222 Ya I'm going see the film as soon as I can, which would be a day or 2, but I'm still really excited because this would be the first time I've been to the theaters ever since Godzilla King Of the Monsters, this stuff just gets my hyped.
-
@Bigbubbaboi Ya Jet Jaguar is honestly a classic, along with his theme.
The whole movie is so cheesy that its good.
-
- Godzilla: King Of the Monsters (2019).
- Friday The 13th part 6: Jason Lives.
- Godzilla Final Wars.
- Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah.
- Godzilla And Mothra: The Battle for Earth.
- Godzilla Vs Space Godzilla.
- Godzilla vs Destroyah.
- Godzilla Vs Biollante.
- Freddy Vs Jason.
- Tucker And Dale Vs Evil.
As for games however.
- Plants Vs Zombie's Garden Warfare 2.
- Godzilla The Game.
- Dead By Daylight.
- Garry's Mod.
- Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare.
- Plants Vs Zombies 2.
- Plants Vs Zombies.
- Team Fortress 2.
- Left 4 Dead 2.
- Jurassic World Evolution.

Bill, just because that man has been through enough in his life.
Ok so to start off.
He fought in the Military.
While effected with amnesia he was able to kill some of the infected with just ONE BONESAW.
From then he teamed up with other survivors, with those being Zoey, Francis, and Louis, to take down thousands upon thousands of the infected.
He sacrificed himself to ensure the safety of his teammates.
And to make matters worse he was being mowed down by 4 TANKS AND THAT BARELY DID ANYTHING TO HIM, but in all honesty it was mainly the common infected that took Bill down.
So in my opinion he would be an amazing pick to be the Main Protagonist of DBD, but not just DBD but he in my opinion is THE protagonist of Left 4 Dead as well.
Bill never wanted to be just Chased by a Killer over and over again.
All he ever wanted was an enemy to fight.
A REAL enemy to fight.
With that real enemy being the Entity.
And once Bill can actually fight back once again, unlike the other people having life's to get back to (except Detective Tap and Bill) What's the point of trying to survive if there is no real life to get back to.
Would Bill want to sacrifice himself one more time, this time putting an end to his chapter along with the entity's.
Now I can see it all coming together.
-
@notstarboard But I still do think we will get a map for chapter 17, 18, and 19 in the future.
-
@NateyBoi Ya I really like Death slinger's map just because it has a lot less r n g, and Midwhich Elementary also looks pretty cool.
-
@ItzZane_ Ya lore about any video game always intrigues me.
-
@notstarboard It would have been awesome if Blight came with a map though, but overall just a good release.
-
@GlamourousLeviathan Ya both those killers are unique in there own ways.
-
@glitchboi Who ever thought that we would get Halloween, Left 4 Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare On Elm street, Saw, Evil Dead, Scream, Stranger Things, and Silent Hill in the same game, AND YET HERE WE ARE.
I do agree on Blight though.
-
@MrGimmsYouTube Ya you were right about this chapter being chapter 18.5, and the sad thing is that at the beginning which the ptb came out for this chapter, I was absolutely astonished by how cool this chapter was, it was WAY cooler then chapter 18. But now it's just really underwhelming that the Devs barely did anything to this guy, and at best they nerfed him which was absolutely not needed, but what he did need were many many buffs. But the Art and Music design team are All-Killing it though.
Oh and I forgot to say that about 4 weeks ago, remember that one guy on Youtube that commented on your video called Steven Tracy, and he told you these ideas for making this game less stale, and you said he should go post that idea on the forums but he needed permission first?
Well he finally got an account, or should I say I got the account.
So anyway here is the link to the full lists of ideas I put down, and it was very fun writing this post too even though a bit of the feed back was mixed. But I've overall been enjoying the forums in general.
-
@REL1_C Ya it was awesome having something Silent Hill related to happen ever since P.T which was like 6 years ago.
-
@thefallenloser I don't even know why I put A Binding Of Kin on here anyway.
-
@thefallenloser Ya Stranger Things was also pretty Legit.
-
@TheGannMan Ya Curse Legacy is pretty legit.
-
@RepostRiposte When Undying was introduced it felt good to have a new meta, but then they nerfed it and in fact I don't see many ruin/undying combos unfortunately because it felt kind of like a new objective which was cool.
-
@Yords Ya sorry I forgot to mention that but I thought that both those chapters were on par with each other, which meant that both were really good.
-
Scott Jund's Trapper Rework video was really good, but a few weeks ago I did make a rework/overall concept for Trapper, but I think my concept might be a bit too strange and a bit out there for what a Trapper Rework should be, but that's what I like about Scott Jund's video is that it was fairly simple and not too complicated.
@DBDude said:
So hello again I'm back with another Rework/Overhaul concept and this time I would like to be discussing a very Strange yet cool yet never gonna happen concept, and this time we're talking about The Trapper.
Now when talking about the Trapper, his name says it all. He can place traps, beartraps. But does he need to use only beartraps? Why not use another type of trap, with that trap being...…
Landmines.
Ok so before you call me a crazed lunatic this is just a concept, nothing official.
So something coal (pun intended) about the landmines is that they are made with the same explosive that was used to trap the tons of Coal miners as see in Trapper's lore.
So the size of the landmines would be slightly bigger than his beartraps, with most of the landmine being buried underground.
And please note that you can still use your beartraps but the landmines would work in a similar fashion to Freddy's teleportation to gens, with both taking the same amount of time to load up.
Ok so now on to the fun part, when a survivor steps on a landmine, the landmine will not automatically explode, instead it would explode when the survivor steps off of it, sending a survivor into the dying state. And if a survivor is in dying state and goes off and on the landmine it will not explode.
Now as for the survivors side of things, whenever you see that another survivors is on a landmine, then you can go disarm the landmine, guaranteeing the safety of you and your teammate.
Oh and if Trapper steps on a landmine, he will not trigger it.
So those were my ideas for a rework/overhaul concept for The Trapper and hopefully with ideas like this he would become a more unique and interesting killer.
-
@ChurchofPig Now thinking about it, he would be pretty fun.
Just imagine Demon Dashing across the entire stage while absolutely destroying the other fighters, it sounds brutal and fun at the same time.
-
@Marc_go_solo That's very true.
-
Cursed Legacy, Chains Of Hate, and Descend Beyond were my favorite original chapters. All three killers that came in these chapters are extremely fun to play as and to play against in my opinion.
Oni has a very creative and Powerful power, and once he gets that first hit in, that's where the FUN begins. And as a survivor Oni is just very intimidating and scary to go against, with his chase music being one of the cooler ones.
Death Slinger is in my opinion has one of the coolest powers in the game, and I know he's another range killer and all that but I think he is a cooler ranged killer than huntress and has a better 1v1 potential. Now I know most of the community hate going against Death Slinger but I personally really like going against him, the chase music gets my adrenaline fueled, and the scary part is that you never know when he's gonna shoot.
Blight has the most fun power in the game, being extremely fun to play as and go against, and as a survivor what I find scary about Blight is just that he could be from one side of the map to the other in just a matter of seconds, very scary and fun. As for playing as Blight though, just running and watching my head bounce off the wall is very fun, along with his chase music, his map mobility, it's just very cool.
As for Licensed Chapters My favorite's were definitely Halloween, Stranger Things, and Silent Hill.
Michael Myers is Michael Myers, not much to say.
Demogorgon was an extremely cool addition to the game.
Holy cow they have Pyramid Head in the game.
So there wasn't much to say about Licensed Chapters, because all three of their powers tie in so well from what they were like from their franchises, like I was impressed with Pyramid Head's power because I never thought he would have worked in the game, but he did.
But anyway ya these are my opinions.
-
In my opinion I would say both, just because Originals make the game feels Fresh and unique, and are some really well written and designed characters with some very cool powers. As for Licenses I'm glad they stick with the licenses source material but yet tying it into their game, it's just really cool.
-
Overall just talking to the community in general.
-
Wow, just wow.
-
Pupper's is my all time favorite DBD content creator, with trueta1ent coming in at 2nd place, and not Otzdarva at 3rd.
-
@SaintDorks That would be interesting to have the other killers be in Trapper's kit.
Now thinking about this, the stage should be somewhere in the MacMillan Estate Realm.
-
@Pet_The_Lizards It would be cool to have the 3 original killers tbh, but ya I will admit that Trapper is the face of DBD.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova Those are all some good choices, but the characters I would choose personally would be Heavy, Scout, and Soldier from Team Fortress 2. Blight from DBD. Doom Slayer from Doom. Bill or Tank from Left 4 Dead. Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Gordon Freeman from Half-Life 2. And finally Nemesis from Resident Evil 3.
Edit: And also a Plants vs Zombies Rep, which could be peashooter, Crazy Dave, or maybe even Super Brains.
I just want a Valve Rep and a Horror Game Rep in Smash already.
-
@RepostRiposte I mean we got Sans as a mii costume, so having Trapper as a mii costume isn't too far-fetched at all actually.
Thinking about this now if this were to happen, I wonder what music we could get?
-
@TunnelVision Ya that is true.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova Ya this Poll is more of a what if DBD got into Smash Bros.
And if there was a rep I want more than a DBD rep, that would be a Team Fortress 2 rep.
-
@ClownIsUnderrated As for a final smash I was thinking that the entity would snatch up the opponent, and basically does the same thing as when you get sacrificed as a survivor.
-
@fake If there would be a Mii skin for a survivor I would probably go with Bill, and I know that Bill is from a completely other franchise but he still originated from a video game, with that game being Left 4 Dead, so he's not completely out of the picture along with Silent Hill.
-
@DwightFairfield He would be too overpowered.
-
@Jarol Ya I wonder what his move set should be, and obviously his move set would be based around traps but I wonder what else they can do?
-
I actually listen to DBD's Menu and Chase Theme's quite a bit.
-
Here's my idea for a Clown change.
When throwing a yellow bottle, it will automatically turn yellow instead of turning gray.
When invigorated, You now move at 130% movement speed as Clown, and 115% movement speed as survivor.
If you throw a Purple bottle into a Yellow Cloud of gas, or if you throw a Yellow bottle into a Purple Cloud of gas, the cloud of gas will turn gray.
If a survivor steps into this gray cloud of gas, they will become exposed.
-
I don't care whether it got into the game or not, as long as the killers perks and power is good then I'm fine with it.
