Yes
That's why i am asking to blocking survivor auras should not happen. Because who is using survivor aura perks? Solo survivors. You are punishing people for playing solo and SWF is free to whatever perk they want because they can just talk. So they don't even need to use aura perk and blindness is doing nothing to them.
My rework idea is making blindness different type perk and affecting all survivors equally.
Now that part needs to be looked at
and idk bout WOO but I think the bond counter thing needs to be removed from blindness status effect
-
Question
does blindness status counter bond cause I barely use the perk but if it does then I think the devs need to look over at this effect with bond
-
They just need to adjust the distance between lockers and windows just so I can do my DS getaway thingy
-
Pop going to 20% would be the equivalent of WOO getting a cool down
the perk will just return to the void where people barely used it
-
Wesker has the most high skill ceiling in this game
from my experience atleast
-
From my take
I think the perk is fine and one of the reasons survivors use it is mainly because they no longer have second chance perks so now they mostly use this perk while looping to avoid making mistakes cause it’s not like back then where when you make a mistake you can just press E and erase that mistake so yeah I think the perk is mostly fine cause it’s a healthy alternative to the second chance perks survivors used to run back then
-
Honestly I kinda liked the old combo of FTP soul guard back when the silent hill chapter came out
and there was also the FTP + WGLF combo that just went extinct
-
Let me guess
you went against a hit and run wraith
-
Perk is probably somewhat underrated but isn’t much worth of the slot
like it’s pretty nice to have any possible 3 gen dealt with early instead of it being a problem later on but still not rlly worth a perk slot if you can tell which gens are where
the speed boost is nice but I still don’t rlly know how to feel about the perk still
its pretty much like the perk vigil
a very underrated perk that’s mostly used in niche builds despite having some sort of better potential in other cases

That is how DH works. DH doesn't deactivate until it's successfully used, it becomes available again as soon as the Exhaustion wears off.
Also Iron Will is fine. Just because you're not completely silent doesn't mean you're not extremely quiet. Killers only notice you if you're hiding right next to them.
Unless you’re playing as Jeff cause that perk is pretty much a cosmetic in your loadout
-
The damage has already been done
removing AFC will have so much negative effects in the aftermath of the removal so that’s a big no

What perks was he running?
-
Honestly why don’t they revert iron will to the time when stridor used to counter it and revert all the changes to iron will
-
@Crowman said:
Iron Will's nerf was not overkill. Survivors shouldn't have unlimited 100% noise reduction.
Yeah but it also disables when inflicted by exhaustion

I agree, it should revert to the original. At the moment, they literally killed every survivor perk in this game thanks to the killer mains that who wants to make game easy for them. And the survivor side needs few buff to its perks. Such as DS, IW even maybe DH?
It’s not to that point
it was more of a meta shakeup update that had some flaws in it but there was some decent buffs in it as well
I think the only perks that could need a buff are DS and IW
DH is in a decent spot

No, the mft is really weakening here, as is off record. This is just an exaggeration and a stupid joke. Yes, it seemed funny to me to give rework mft for a total nerf, and then write that everyone who does not think so after reading it does not know how to play.
Yeah…I did notice you’ve changed the text multiple times
-
Yeah this perk got so much unneeded nerfs to the point that it feels like a dead perk slot so it could need a buff or a revert to its original form probably and same thing to most of the perks that got gutted in the 6.1.0 patch
-
Is this a trolling post?
-
My fun to play against killers are Wesker, pyramid head, hillbilly, and nurse but that’s usually when it’s an inexperienced nurse cause those are always the fun ones to go against with how bad they are with knowing how the killer works
and oni is usually super fun to play against if you have decent teammates

When I play PH I avoid hook perks but of course you can make them work also. A fun and strong build on him otherwise is Corrupt, Trail of Torment, Eruption, Nowhere to Hide with early game protection, info, stealth and gen regression.
alr maybe I might give this build a go
I already have eruption and ToT
-
maybe the killer you went against was using play with your food

At this point can we all just admit the 6.1 perk changes (and their immediate hotfixes) were horrible for the game. Nerfing Calm Spirit, nerfing Pharmacy to be worse than Self-Care, nerfing Thana, nerfing Pop and Pain Res only to re-buff them to nearly the same or better states then they were, creating the degen 3gen kick meta for all too long, nerfing anti-tunnel into the dirt of non-viability.
Ruin, along with all the other nerfed perks in 6.1 should just have their 6.1 nerfs reverted in the next patch if they haven't been otherwise touched (Pop/PR).
Yes I agree I think we should bring back several perks from 6.1.0

What do you want to know exactly?
PH I like to run an even balance between information perks and gen defense perks. I'm not a stealthy Pyramid Head. Some people like ToT and playing sneaky, but my style is mainly it's just dropping trails in various locations and using PoTD until everyone dies. Leave your trails at pallets, grassy spots, and windows so that you can pretty much have survivors tormented a majority of the time, this allows you to use your cages whenever you need to (more pressure, or mori). Generally, never break pallets unless it's god pallets or super super safe pallets (you can probably think of a few that fit this). Kinda like Trapper because many pallets guarantee Pyramid Head a hit with his PotD attack.
I use PoTD a lot, especially around tight loops if it can clear it well enough, and blind spots if I know where the check spot is or get lucky (maybe some skill) enough to predict their movement. This is where I'm All Ears shines, and it's really satisfying and fun hitting survivors through a wall ;). Also, PoTD cancels, which is a strong mind game when ur closing the gap at a pallet. Don't use PotD attack out in the open, it's super easy to avoid and most time any experienced surv will make you look foolish paying for it.
If you want to know about cages, it really depends on certain criteria, and I use SH:PR/DMS combo in a lot of my builds with him I'll just go for hook unless it meets that criteria for caging. If I'm going to hook, might as well kick gen too while I'm there.
Another perk combo that you probably won't hear from anyone else on here but me is Thrilling Tremors + PGTW. This combo is slept on but it's actually a solid information/gen regression pairing on him.
Do you use the trails in chase or do you pair them with the trail duration extending addon?
and same here I also use his POTD with I’m all ears and range addons around certain strong loops and they’re quiet fun to use
The only few things Ik about his cages is that I shouldn’t use them at the endgame
and maybe I’ll give the thrilling PGTW combo on him when I can btw
-
Vigil and soul guard

@Nun_So_Vile said:
As others have said, it's doable on PH. I use it in one of my builds currently on him with NWTH, Corrupt and I'm All Ears in the flex slot. You can make it work, but how much you use it will vary from game to game. If it were in the flex slot and I had to change it, I'd look at swapping to Deadlock, DMS, SH:PR, and even Jolt
Please…enlighten me on your playstyle with pyramid head

@GroßusSchmiedus said:
That depends on how you play them and against who.
If you play against a group that relies on Flashlights or Sabo its more of a detriment since caging them both denies it and forces them to run across the map after following you, not to mention sometime survivors not give you exactly a choice.
Otherwise it depends on how much you tend to use the cages, i use them as much as possible and try to force them so for me all perks that are related to hooking don't really work.
Cages feel abit more situational for me personally like usually when I’m confident that I’ve applied a somewhat decent pressure as killer
like let’s say I hooked one survivor
downed 2 and caged 1 of them
thats when cages come in use the most
and of course I stop caging when the exit gates are powered or else it’s a guaranteed free escape
But yeah it rlly sucks how many perks that rely on caging don’t work for PH cause many of my favorite perks like NWO that sadly don’t work on him that much :(
@Xernoton said:
It's not great but not bad either. Deadlock is a more reliable alternative.
@Astel said:
I tend to take advantages in every time as I can, so it's meh to me on PH. This works same for Pain Resonance. So I use Deadlock instead.
Alright maybe I might give deadlock a try
thank you btw for the perk suggestion :D

That doesn't mean ruin is an issue doesn't that suggestion that pentimento and plaything is a problematic combo?
Yeah the combo could probably need a second look at it
but I do agree ruin should make a comeback

Ruin + undying pop and pain res, that is a bit much lol
I mean yeah it could be too much but undying isn’t that big scary bogeyman it used to be back when it first came out so it won’t be rlly much of a problem and pop + ruin isn’t much of a problem until the ruin is taken care of
but I do think pentimento and plaything is what could make it problematic

I dont think it's really that busted tho. LOL. It's designed for solo queue and already has a number of disadvantages like the broken status effect and the unhook requirement. You absolutely should have more time to to activate deliverance. If you think this perk is broken then Coup De Grace needs to be nerfed as well, why does the killer get a double lunge for losing the game? hmm?
Deliverance isn’t designed as a soloQ perk and no the broken status effect isn’t much of a disadvantage
the whole purpose of the perk is to award you for unhooking your teammates without being on first hook and that’s why its considered a balanced perk
and also you’re comparing a high risk/high reward perk to an m1 killer perk? Like I do think coup was kinda of over buffed but it isn’t really in any problematic spot atleast not at the current moment
-
@bjorksnas said:
I think the only problem with ruin not turning off after one kills is when certain maps mostly indoor maps have terrible totem spawns so its just impossible to ever cleanse without assistance so id say buff it to 150 but it turns off after a kill and just see how it preforms then
Why don’t they just make it like noed where the totems aura is revealed after a while
but let’s say when the killer gets 1 kill the ruin totems aura is revealed to all survivors within a 12 meter range or even a shorter range
-
Why don’t they just revert the change as a whole
from my experience atleast I didn’t have a problem with its auto regression and on top of that this could make the pop + pain res meta somewhat interesting to go against even more with ruin thrown in the middle
-
Personally I want some buffs but I’m too scared that the buff ideas could maybe make the perk op
-
Wesker (from my experience atleast)
aside from like 3 addons
-
It’s an iri addon
I think it could need a rework to make it strong but not too strong
somebody here once sent some addon rework concepts awhile back when I made a discussion for pyramid head’s addons for seal of metatron and I thought it was pretty cool with how it fits an iri addon design
-
It’s good on m2 killers like wesker, blight or nurse but I think it’s pretty rare for wesker mains to use it cause we have the portable safe addon which is basically sloppy butcher for M2 attacks
and idk about nurse and blights addons

But it absolutely deserved it.
Yeah no doubt
perk gave every veteran killer player PTSD
-
One more thing I wanna add about this perk
this perk is also the definitive meaning of “not because it has a high pickrate means that it’s busted or overpowered”
this perk has always had low pick rates before and after its rework and it was beyond busted in its old form in comparison to perks like MFT,DH or anything from the survivor meta that was considered OP
-
Mr Bean
-
Object of obsession is the most “look how the mighty one has fallen” perk
-
Sam and Dean would rock in dbd
-
Your deliverance change makes it pretty busted
it’s meant to be a high risk/high reward perk
thats what makes it a balanced perk
-
Pharmacy used to be my favorite perk before the medkit nerfs and eventually I dropped it cause it isn’t useful anymore with how slow self healing is
also someone told me awhile back that iron will is good on Quentin
-
Killer has to be rlly bad at the game if you wanna win in soloQ tbh
-
@Crowman said:
The DBD community has gone down a toxic direction and honestly it's very difficult to find many good sports in end game chat. Personally, I turned off chat because 99% of time nothing good comes from it.
How do you turn it off?

2 S tier perks
1 A tier perk

@Coffeecrashing said:
Neither one of these perks is a priority. Windows of opportunity is the perk that should be nerfed next. The pick rate is out of control, and it can affect the first chase of the game way too much, because all the pallets are still available.
Does everyone remember dead hard got nerfed so it wouldn’t affect the first chase of the game? Windows of opportunity still has that issue, where it allows survivors to just bring the killer from pallet to pallet to pallet.
Yeah but dead hard was a 3rd health state perk and in its old form it had I-frames
WOO is just an aura reading perk and the only reason it has a high pick rate is either because
a. Survivors don’t wanna make mistakes mid chase cause most of the second chance perks got nerfed so now if they screw up in chase they don’t have a second chance perk that resets the chase
b. It’s mostly used by soloQ players to know which pallets have been used and which haven’t cause they don’t have any comms who inform them which pallets have been used and which haven’t been used
c. Mostly new players who discovered the perk and are now using it cause they don’t know how to loop
the perk is fine and it’s not problematic compared to what used to be in the survivor top pick-rates a few years back
-
Been a long time silent hill fan and I think a few lore based addons could be Angela’s knife, James flashlight, or maybe other sh2 related content and a few other addons need a rework like his iri addons
I think I earlier made a few posts here on the forums for addon rework concepts for iri seal of metatron and his recharge addons
