"I honestly think Drones causing damage should be removed from base kit and be a iridescent add-n, other debuff's are fine."
I completely agree here. The emphasis was on the tracking ability and other negative effects. And now this.
-
Chase is when the chase theme starts.
Each killer chases for the purpose of a down.
What is the purpose of this topic?
-
I see her regularly but mainly in her regular outfit.
-
It was nice that the team gathered there and you appreciated it and didn't punish 3 ppl.
-
For me rework means a sort of overhaul. The changes they made are so subtle that they are barely noticeable. I still struggle with chases as a killer in the main building.

Would be nice to have a personal best chase time area
or how fast you complete games
Or the overall BP earned or matches I had. I'm not interested in looking up some of this info externally.
-
Well, if it is a "perfect" game then the survivors as 4 minds can always best a 5th.
-
Jesus guys... Knight got killswitched so that the killer can work again (properly).
-
Recent disconnects are extremely weird.
-
Ash is the highest from survivors sitting at 21.
On the killer side I have Clown at 12.
-
"Who's next?"
They can have Clown... my only request is: don't change his voice. That cough-laugh when someone goes down is great.
-
I haven't noticed as I rarely use them.
But would you mind telling us what build you have as well as add-ons?
And thanks for the information on the bug.

Don't forget, these are also people that have pretty much perfected their play style. An unprepared solo group will not stand a chance against these killers. Put them in a tournament setting though with the survivors knowing who they play against and suddenly this looks a lot different.
It should also be noted that the introduction of such a streak is the only incentive for them to play.
Even Otz says in one of his videos a streak was needed for him not to get bored.
More than 10K hours is what they invested already. The Blight player with over 1,000 streak is probably an expert or at least decent with every killer.
-
I had a match today with Blight. He only tunneled me and while I got sacrificed the rest of the team managed to escape.
It was on Backwater.
I asked him why he was tunneling: "Because I don't see anything on this map and you are all sneaky..."
-
Definitely Weskussy.
-
Experiment failed. :(
Nobody was interested. T-bagging was more common.
I guess as a killer I just can't let them know what I want.
Well, I had NOED in my build for the endgame... 😏
-
This is amazing! I'll have some Ormond offerings... we'll see how many survivors react like that if I stand in front of the tree.
-
Simply put: nice, long matches.
If this means I get sacrificed as a survivor, I'm fine with it. As long as it was a nice match where I could do some chases, do gens and (what is most important to me) be altruistic I'm happy to "lose" as in getting sacrificed. Especially, if by doing it I can save a team mate. If I get a pip that is even more pleasing.
For killer I want at least 2 kills for the match to be identified as victory. Whilst it is a tie in reality, if the survivors are great and the match is long-lasting, I'm fine with it.
-
How would the casual mode work in your opinion?
-
Hm. Criticizing the graphics means you had matches on each map. Highlighting the difficulty stemming from a particular combination of perks (build) means you know many of them and how they look like when in use. You are also familiar with tunnelling and other terminology associated with the game.
All this in 20 hours? I say bait post!
DbD is interesting in the first 20-50 hours. Then it becomes even more exciting and when you are around 100-250 you want to learn both sides at the same time you want to enjoy the chase music and you have started unlocking achievements and completing challenges.
You are at the beginning of the road - the more you venture on it the wider it gets with its many detours. DbD makes you stop to rest for a while. These are the least interesting parts when you want to leave your journey for good. Some do it temporarily, some continue but come here to vent. This is what DbD has been for 7 years.
-
Thank you for this... it really helps with my depression...
I went down to the basement with Wesker today... to look at the majestic tree we have there. No survivors followed. In fact, the ones standing at the top of the stairs just shook their head. 😕
-
Tough choices... I picked Loomis over Pablo and Hicks. In fact, if there was Hudson instead of Hicks (Game over man!!!) I would have picked him. Great poll, nonetheless!
-
I'd love to see a Dead Space chapter with a necromorph killer and Isaac as the survivor.
-
I picked Sidney but I could also accept Cindy from the Scary Movie since Ghostface already has a skin from that.
-
Chop Top sold right after I read 80s music.
-
I can see them close-up in the menu but I wish all moris were just from a 3rd person perspective during the game.
-
Just had a match where I equipped Pain Res and Pop and I was able to quickly use up all the hooks for Pain Res. Lost Pop once or twice due to a decision to chase instead.
Survivors were fast, nonetheless. The end result was a 3K but the 3rd survivor I caught while running towards the gate. This individual was also very close to me when bringing survivors to the hooks (I always heard footsteps but she never had a flashlight for any kind of save). In fact, to stop one survivor from being sacrificed all gathered at one hook and this made me drop Renato. But got 2 hits. This helped with subsequent chases as the majority of the team was injured.
I felt I was able to apply pressure constantly and hook positions were in my favour. Because there was a "gathering" (see above) and one surv was wasting time following me (I never stopped for a hit) I found it alarming that they managed to do all the gens.
-
"I believe this gives a rough estimate of what matches are like in the 1600+ MMR skill bracket, which is the second highest one, followed by the soft cap that was recently raised."
Do you have data on the brackets (names or values) and is it possible to check where I'm situated in? I haven't finished reading your post but here I got stuck. Where do you get this number?
-
This must be a case of high ping I think. Can make matches miserable but cheaters use less subtle tactics.
There are some add-ons I think decreasing the tantrum.
-
"Everyone says "it's a small section of the community," but it feels like I am always up against survivors with coms."
Can it be that you play at the same time of the day?
Late in the evening (especially on the weekends) SWF can be more common due to friends finally having time to get together and play some matches.
I'm based in Europe (GMT+1). Usually, 100% bonus BP is available in the evening and that is when I use my killers. SWFs can be more common but I used to ask if this was the case after a match lost and often they just confirmed two were playing together.

New DBD mean new engine, new engine mean more modern game feature.
1. Easy in-game report
2. Replay feature to learn or catch suspicious player
3. Better Anti Cheat
3. More Game Mode?
4. Better graphic or sound etc
The majority of these do not require a completely new game.
I used to complain about the graphics but checked some videos from the olden days and saw the graphics overhaul they did. It is quite amazing to be honest.

Hollywood Dreams and Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story
Recommended if you haven't seen it.
-
Any more details? I had one yesterday where I was the Legion and the team making the worst possible decisions. I was surprised how early we finished without anybody DC-ing.
-
Thanks. I did use both DR and UW. 2 survivors almost escaped but as the main event triggered I was able to hit the switch and down the one opening the gate. I'm terrible at loops but I triggered the event way more often than before.

@Smoe said:
They've done a pretty good job so far with the event. (no sarcasm)
It's definitely a step up from last year's Bone Chill event.
Completely agree! Though I miss the snowmen doing constant high-fives.
I think this is doable now, too, it's just there are too many of them exploding.
-
Those of you have tried Trickster after the work and managed to win can you suggest a fairly good build / add-ons.
-
It would be a great summary when looking back.
Announcing it in advance could be catastrophic: Next year will be the Slasher year! What, a series of M1 killers? Or medieval times. Another Knight?! Please no!
-
In a way, yes. More challenges to complete... participated in the winter event but missed out on the summer one. Lately (as I have "covered" an entire year) not so much.
-
Easily the most interesting part of the survey!

Ah nice to see Otz is feeling the same way
Are you having 11-12K like him?
I have 2.5K. I'm not going to quit because a guy having played five times as much decides to do so.
-
Snowballs coming at me can be fun. Some survivors do it quite often which makes downing them easier as they are too close to the fire.
But just had a match with toxic behaviour because I was camping the last survivor in the endgame.
The event is nice but the attitude remains as is.
-
There is no such thing as gen-tunnelling. Not sure who invented this but even gen-rushing was far-fetched.
People overall "rush" matches instead of having a nice long one and ultimately: fun.
Exhaustion perks are absolutely fair and they are easily countered with Fearmonger.
-
Hitting survivors or the killer gives you some BP during the event.
-
I think the word "refuse" is a bit strong here.
If only new content was not released in every quarter but instead a season could be just spent focusing on improvements and balancing (and most importantly: reworking some killers the community long wanted).

I don’t understand what’s so challenging about adding a voice chat in the survivor games. Just make it so only the survivors hear each other and the killer can’t hear anything. Don’t give me this excuse of breaking immersion cause one game actually does this better.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre game has built in voice chat for both sides but it’s balanced cause the family can’t hear the survivors talking only the survivor side can hear each other.
why can’t we just copy what TCM is doing and it will easily fix solo que
From a lore perspective survivors in DbD do not know each other (save for those from a franchise). TCM is different as the teens there represent a group on a - sort of - vacation.
The purpose of DbD is to create a terrifying situation with a match where unknown people are together, hence the two gestures only as the means of comm.
-
I rarely use them but I remember using them for the RCPD challenge.
If it is not a map specific challenge or achievement I sometimes use an offering as I believe a challenge can be easier done on a specific map (e.g. for stuns go to pallet-ridden maps).

Dredge cannot choose which locker to teleport to, by default it goes to the locked one. So locking only one is the correct play, because once it leaves the locker, if the other is locked dredge can immediately break it with m1. If it's unlocked, survivors can lock the second one later and further slow dredge down
Thanks for clarifying.
In some instances I cannot teleport to lockers, at all.
They appear different... as if spikes were coming out of them?
Does this mean they are too close?
-
His lore, cosmetics and overall gameplay concept are all interesting but it is difficult to win against a fairly decent team.
Autohaven is just awful when it comes to lockers.
Also, what's with people only locking one locker if there are 2 next to one another?
-
I find these games really difficult and only played the first Dark Sould.
But, from an aesthetic point of view, I really like Sekiro.

Yes, both should be addressed of course, but I would prefer if 3-Gen situations are addressed first because I dont want to sit in 40 - 60 minute stalemates that accomplish nothing.
But you don't have to? I mean you can just approach the hook or DC. I did the former 2 days ago on Badham where Merchant was doing the 3-genning.
Other than that the issue really requires addressing.
