Are you having a laugh? They are some of the most sweaty killers around.
No, I hope there are some matches where Wes takes it easy during the event.
-
There is a special icon giving you description on the event. There are 3 tabs in the upper-left corner if you click on this and the last one shows you the crowns from previous year. The direct link for purchase can also be found there.

What I love the most are the quotes on the loading screen!
I'm nearing 70 terrormisu add-ons but due to an ongoing data corruption issue I periodically get disconnected. :(
Apart from this the anniversary is great.
-
So how does the party pallet work? Smashing it results in destruction. Is it an "effect" only or when actioned at the right time it actually stuns the killer?
-
Well, people will be people.
As for the challenges: the community-related ones are great and I'm doing one with randomised perks only. Pretty neat!
-
Nah the music is great! That's already an exciting match.

Does the error occurs on autohaven or everyboy's corruption is different?
To summarize:
1) The issue I'm facing occurs on the loading screen. I see no map as the game crashes before the match begins.
2) The 2nd type of error does not allow me entering into lobbies due to disconnect.
Game files verified, Epic launcher force closed as per above advice.

Can you please try to force close the EGS Launcher and then restart?
so not just close the game
I did this. The issue is now constant disconnect (dedicated server not responding).
-
I got some masks while being the only one the killer sacrificed. So far so good - ppl bring lots of terrormisu so BPs keep coming.

please refer to my post here, bug reports are closed and directed to this thread because I'm requesting the assistance here!
Can you please clarify where to find those?

Hope Wessy does some farming with survivors.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
An error that you're getting because your data files are corrupt, isn't a 'bug' in the general sense. There's nothing BHVR can do about it other than tell you to reinstall the game.
OP is interested in the solution not whether or not the right definition is used. Be it a glitch, bug or error he (as a customer) requires customer service. If mods confirm reinstalling the game can be a solution then that is the feedback required here.

I do not get how the community would help me fix a BUG, not a technical issue, that a lot of people are reporting about it. I literally created an account to report it, just to be shut down from a moderator, closing my FORUM.
I was very surprised (and disappointed) to see it happen.
We are customer and expect customer support from the developers.
To be on topic: the problem persists with the ongoing event. Again, items are lost so it is not just a simple restart / verify.
-
Definitely chess: pawns require nerf, though.

Wesker isn't even bad to face, it's a bit boring when you play him 5 matches in a row though.
Thank God the matches do not last longer than 7 minutes...
-
I'm facing the same issue. Only with every 2nd or 3rd match.
Because of the crash all items / add-ons are lost.
The timing is "perfect". 😣

I remember the 5th anniversary I stopped playing after a week because i felt there was too much BM going on. Came back when the event was over. The 6th anniversary though I thought was great, I didn't have issues with anyone. I'm not sure though whether there was actually a different attitude amongst players in general between those two years or whether my definition of BM changed in that time.
What's a BM? Bad Manners? Probably not Bowel Movement.
-
I did play with him yesterday evening but only managed 2k. Same the other way around on the survivor side. I think people are still learning him. Always had an EMP device in my hand ready to use.
-
How is the community approaching the event? What is your past experience?
Can we expect less tunneling / camping and overall better matches?

Not quiet.
All hate goes for Nurse & Blight. Wesker has some hate too but no Wraith.
Wraith is not "interesting" as he is "just" an M1 killer. It is unlikely that there will be a nerf / hateful discussion about this killer. Those willing to experiment or take up further challenges on the killer side tend to move on and pick other killers.
-
"how polished TCM is compared to a 7 year old game it’s so crazy if I were behaviour I would hang my head in shame"
A fair comparison would be comparing TCM to an early access DbD 7 years ago (if there was early access, at all).
-
Wraith is not picked by many players. The ones I face have blocking tactics always. I rarely see new Wraith players. I think exhaustion perks were never a match for him - removing lightburn helped a lot.

MFT is likely getting nerfed
Troubleshooter is meh (good to sabotage the survivors on gens)
Scavenger usually doesn't procc unless you luck out at getting five skillchecks.
Singularity is doo doo feces but after Knight & Scum Merchant it was obvious it would be another crap killer power that is excelling at being a snorefest.
Stake Out helps with Scavenger tremendously. The issue is the current "meta" which is all about genrushing (people don't want to heal just do the gens) which means you can't really benefit from Scavenger. It can help a lot with the last gen if your toolbox gets ready at that time (and you are past the slowdown period).
-
"Or why is it camp-and-tunnel-o'clock all day?"
The right question would be "why is it not..."?
Camp and tunnel are the norms these days in SoloQ.
-
I do not believe it is about pallets or vaults but more like genrushing. Many have Resilience. There was a time (after the healing nerf) when I decided to take "We'll Make It" and "Distortion" with me. Both became mandatory perks in my builds. But "We'll Make It" only last for so long after unhooking someone and it's pretty annoying when they just rush to the gens and don't want to be healed.
The community no longer wants long matches. It's all about winning / losing and not about having fun.
-
Thank you for the update! Just obtained the latest charms!
-
Same here. Welcome to the club! 😙
-
What was the old Clown like?
-
This is actually a great idea!
-
Why do you want it on the saloon? Can't you place them on the building on the opposite side?
I do not know how far you can see / tag with them, hence my question.
As for the 2nd image: you have the wall behind the generator. This is the edge of the map. The "window" would be too close - given the edge I would - again - play with the idea to see how far they can be placed while tagging is still possible.
-
Introducing something new, something different from the usual. And they succeeded as Singularity is not a regular M1 killer.
-
Did you invest 8k in the survivor role mainly?
-
Wait, there is worse: missing both skill checks on the BNP...
-
Not in the matches I see. Also, it can be counter-productive as people just take Resilience to ensure there is faster gen progression.
-
When I touch a gen to ensure there is no regression - this is only to move on as I have other things to do.
But the killer kicked it by using Overcharge...
-
I think the current meta also affects Hux. Gens are flying really fast and learning how to play is against already a fast-working team in almost every single match.
-
DbD is intended to be played in SoloQ or with a friend where you stick together and the only communication you can do are the various gestures. SWF messes it up with the voice comm. I don't want to hear other people talk (other people I do not know). Additional HUD options or some basekit perks could help SoloQ further; other than that killers need to be made stronger. Stronger in a way that camping / tunnelling / slugging will not be the only option.
-
Hm I could imagine the Grim Reaper as the next killer.

Thing is i dont think is worth to use scavenger to refill a common or worn out toolbox, and using a commodius + charges you will probably repair the gens before the refill.
It was an example of a match only. Refilling a green or purple toolbox with add-ons is, naturally, much better.
-
With Hyperfocus, Stake Out and Déjá Vu I'm having fun with Scavenger.
Hyperfocus somewhat compensates for the slow speed (after recharge). Sometimes I can only take a common toolbox to matches so with Scavenger I get an uncommon one from chests. In some instances I managed to get 2 refills. In most cases it's just 1. Helps tremendously if it happens towards the endgame.
Due to genrush, however, there are matches where it gets stuck at 4 tokens as the match is already over.
-
I still find the title weird...
In any case my 2 cents on the state of the game:
- Improved SoloQ but it is awful against campers (and there are many)
- MMR system issues: I don't want to play against superstrong groups just because I won a couple of matches as a killer - special mention goes to SWF whose current counter is a pair of good eyes in the lobby
- Tremendous number of toxicity and questionable reporting system: delays in responses and no confirmation on whether or not the individual has been punished and in what way
-
"boring easy mode killer"
Just the usual "I have on opinion on something I haven't tried" approach. You and all those agreeing with you never used and tried to win tough matches with the Knight. Not easy as you have to assume / expect where the survivors will end up in a chase. And patrols are coming back towards you.
-
Appreciate the quote but my opinion remains the same based on the many matches I had on Borgo.
-
This was a good idea. Playing against Trickster was a pain. And killers, in general, can spot you from a distance as obstacles are not tall, at all.
If only the size was slightly modified to give an advantage to the killers... this update was a necessity.
-
The new achievements are not visible (they do not appear amongst the locked ones).
And as said above I also see a reduction to 116 'cheevos only.

Her crouching and uncrouching should be sped up along with stealth movement speed. I'd also move the growl to the start of the dash as opposed to as soon as it starts charging.
This pretty much sums up what I think. I hate the time it takes for her to stand up.
-
Is it a sarcastic post or you believe it?
The map has a lot of obstacles.
I did a 4k with my Hillbilly but only used my chainsaw relatively close. Travelling fast for him I think is pretty difficult.
-
The problem is that the EMP you don't notice. Not like Skull's drones "disappear".
So you get to camera view but waste a lot of time. And when returning you are slower?
Honestly, this is my biggest issue. Outdoors the deactivation may be visible but on Léry's I found it difficult to manage the camera system effectively.
-
Yes, I noticed it. Can it be that 4 hits are enough?
