I feel like a kid before Christmas Day, they cant sleep, they just want to get straight into the action, but they know they have to wait... that's me right now, waiting for the Anniversary.
DBD's Anniversary is one of my favorite events, and not just for the Bloodpoints. It's one of the few times I have some of my friends actually play the game, since they love the event. It just feels nice to be able to play for a few weeks or so without being alone rather consistently.
Oh, and also the cosmetics, not only do I get to see what amazing things DBD's art team is brewing, but the community, seeing people post more and more concept art around this time, and seeing what amazing things people are creating.

The anniversary is always nice I may work for the next 4 days but I will definitely grind before and after work
I actually thought it was today. Being in Australia, I get the times and days mixed up sometimes lol
I believe BHVR is based in Canada (I could be wrong), so you have to consider that when translating timezones. A bit unfortunate for those in Oceania, EU, Africa, and Asia, since you have to put it more work just to understand times/dates that things release.
I live in the US (Central Standard Time, or CST) and the event starts at 10 AM for me, since the timezone they posted on Twitter was 11 AM EST (Eastern Standard Time, sometimes expressed as ET instead). You will have to do some translations to your timezone.
Yeah, their 11am is always my 11pm unless we have daylight savings, in which case it's midnight. It was more the dates that threw me.
I'm very excited as well ! I haven't been able to play much these past few months because uni + job, but the event coincides with the end of my finals so my time should be a little easier to manage from now on.
Plus one of my closest friends, who's a hardcore killer main, has finally caved in and decided to try out survivor so we can play together. =)

When the event first starts you may see some goofing around, getting invitations, etc.. then it will quickly turn into the toxic mess it always is. But at least you are getting extra bloodpoints for your trouble. 🤣
I always do a lot of Ghostface farming with people to give breathers during events. Even if they don’t want to farm, I let them take a breath, get some points, get their invitations and escape.
I think what annoys me the most is when you put on an anniversary cake expecting everybody to do so and you always get the few that don’t, but they still get the bonuses from everybody else. These people will then come and show the hoarded amount of cakes they have because they are stingy and don’t use them. I feel like you shouldn’t be included in the bonuses unless you bring a cake yourself.
Do you not see on the DBD Discord or on Twitter, all the photos of people who hoard them and laugh about how they never have to use them because they just use everybody else’s?
I remember the 5th anniversary I stopped playing after a week because i felt there was too much BM going on. Came back when the event was over. The 6th anniversary though I thought was great, I didn't have issues with anyone. I'm not sure though whether there was actually a different attitude amongst players in general between those two years or whether my definition of BM changed in that time.
