Why would anyone want to play as a weak ass poser?
-
Since Freddys snares now do the same thing as the bottle there is no real reason to play Clown anymore considering Freddy has other advantages to him too.
There was never a real reason to play Clown, since the beginning.
Other than liking the character design, that is.

The most toxic players are usually the biggest losers in real life. Just laugh at them and move on, it's not worth getting upset.
You can try to fight them with intelligence but it will only lead to you losing faith in humanity because of their stupidity.
100 this. Just move on and let them continue living their meaningless, empty lives.

Agreed. Probably the most balanced but it's so drab amd dreary.
Fitting for a "horror" game, don't you think?
-
I'd say yes, Bubba can be a threat in the red ranks when played with the right build. He will suffer against highly coordinated teams, but that's just the way it is for almost every other killer.
My build 1 is Agitation, BBQ, Enduring, Spirit Fury. Carburator tuning + either primer bulb or grease.
Build 2 is Nurse's calling, Deerstalker, M&A, BBQ. Same addons always.
If you get good at swinging the chainsaw while turning around obstacles, your Bubba will be a threat.
Besides, he gets the benefit of being severely understimated by survivors, so they usually play dumber against him. Take advantage of it.
Just don't go for the meme camp "strategy", it will only make you end up with 1k at the most.
-
OR
slap NOED to any non-chainsaw wielder, to even things out in the endgame.

Most of my games all 4 survivors run it.
It's too much time wasted and I don't really get to choose who to go for I just go the place where scratches lead and find a survivor.
I know. That's why I don't care any more. It's a no win situation. It's designed to be a free escape, or 60 secs immunity after each hook.
Several times I got hit by it even after hooking 2 other guys, which is ridiculous. Slugging them during the match will only guarantee them to save DS for the endgame, where you're screwed.
So in the absence of an additional condition that prevents you getting hit by it when actively NOt tunneling:
just tunnel everyone after their first hook until you've taken away all 4. And eat the 5 sec stun as early as possible.
-
Anytime there's an obsession in play, just tunnel everyone to take it away a early as possible.
That way it won't bite you in the endgame.
-
Last one I bought with money was Spirit/Adam.
Then I put zero hours on Adam.
Bought Jeff with shards. No way I'm ever paying for Legion.
No Plague or Ghostface, either. And I'm not convinced about them.
-
My favorite one is the scarecrow. Makes him look like a real farmboy.
I don't like any of the ones in the store.

@Condorloco_26 You made me laugh with that. I thought you were gonna come back with some snarky comment. Since a bunch of people here can't take a joke. Just goes to show you be-careful what you wish for.
@Jdsgames not me buddy. I actually promote joking around. You even took the time to make an actual spreadsheet. Lmao
There's already too much turd flinging in the forums.

As you can clearly see the stats heavily show that Blake is indeed being tunneled more due to cosmetics. Not only is he being tunneled more his death is becoming more frequent.
@Condorloco_26 please understand these are Stats in a spreadsheet.
You Sir, have earned a virtual beer. It's on me.

The real question is why is it so different across platforms?
-
??? Really?
PS4 download size was like 350 megs or something

@Condorloco_26 You mean Hex:I tell survivors I exist? :p
Hex: Only good for R20 -R17
Yes that one exactly
-
Parroting everyone else: Yes, both sides will give you a better map knowledge.
But I may add: Survivors run the map all the same way, they're just skins anyway.
Killers don't. When I play Myers I maximize LOS blockers until I'm on top of them, it's completely different to playing huntress. When I play billy I always look for alleys, Doc I'll heavily patrol the middle of the map, etc. I think rotating killers will give you the edge in the long run.

The Huntress has 2 warnings.
The Lullaby tells you she's near, and the TR tells you she's close.
Slap M&A on her as I do, and you have 12m of TR. At least the directional lullaby let people know where she was coming from.
Definitely she didn't need this change IMO.
115% seems more reasonable if you want her to compete in maps like yamaoka or ormond. Maybe buff her by adding lockers, or increasing her hatchets by 2.
But this change just makes no sense for me, and I play her 50% of the time.
-
The false-directional lullaby sounds terrible actually. Good thing it's now fixed, I guess.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Anyone who says the Huntress didn't need this change hasn't played her on Gas Heaven or the workshop in Auto Haven maps while being looped around the walls of cars for 3+ minutes as you sloooowly catch up to the survivor -- and there's no potential mind game because the survivor can hear exactly where you are and which direction you were moving.
Also for people saying it wasn't direction during 3.0.0, it technically was, but bugged. For some users, it was still directional. The problem was that the directions were inverted. You could hear her behind you, and run to the front, and you'dsprint right into her. Hear her in your left, you run to the right, and you'd run straight into her. It was super confusing.
The only thing worse than no information is completely false information.
Well I've played her there a lot more than a hundred times I guess. I've learned to drop chases I know I can't win or will waste a lot of time.
And before the rank comments pop up, I've taken her to R1 consistently and managed to stay there, no iri heads.
Honestly the only map I find unplayable for her is Haddonfield.
-
If you're not giving her 115%, at least tweak her bloodwebs to let swamp, red forest, crotus, autohaven and macmillan offerings pop up more frequently.
I play a lot of huntress in ps4 and I don't think she needed this change. It makes no sense, since the humming comes from her, and she's not a dream demon.
-
Any activity is competitive when two sides are facing each other pursuing mutually exclusive goals.
But if you mean, e-sport competitive, no.
-
Yeah a couple of times, with real cool guys that have long been banned from here.
-
I play the game.
I don't care about your bloodpoint offerings, or anyone else's.
-
"Please revert them, getting killers' ears blasted by loud music lets me win chases more often"
There, fixed it for you.
-
This game is about killing and surviving.
They are mutually exclusive.
Anyone playing this game should acknowledge that from day one.
-
No. Please no.
Pyramid Head is not a killer or a monster. He does not belong anywhere else outside of Silent Hill 2. Anyone old enough to have played the game (and understand it) back in 2001 will tell you the same. PH is not ok to fool with.
Let the devs use their imagination to create their own killers and survivors.
I'm sure they can come up with great ideas and hopefully they don't hold back and actually realize them.
-
Please keep it as a feature then. It's way better than having music blasting your ears.
I previously had to lose chases intentionally just to be able to listen to footsteps and breathing again.
Or, at least give us the option to control the volume with a couple of sliders, for the ones that actually like their music louder.
-
A couple of ideas:
Let people reset the useless teachables that were unlocked not knowing they would turn into bloodweb cloggers.
Level 50 bloodwebs featuring 3 perks, 2 of them reachable.
-
Yeah. Trapper, Huntress and LF also suffer from this. Use your power effectively, lose chaser points.
The real question is why do you care any more? You're already playing in the red ranks and there's absolutely zero reward for it.
-
Agitation lets me reach another hook most of the times.
-
@Rizzo said:
The queue time is ridicolous, i agree, but it has very little to do with matchmaking.
The simple answer is this: too many people are playing killer and there are not enough survivors.
Then why is it I can't find any lobbies as survivor either??
-
I'd rather advocate for integrating some of the common addon effects on certain killers. Faster trap setting and +1 carrying capacity for Trapper, for example.
Hell, Trapper should start with 3 traps at least to make him semi-playable at R1
-
@PigNRun said:
The thing is, lack of common add-ons isnt a problem. Anyone who has spent BP on a Killer (or Survivor) will have a load of common add-ons (actively spending BP on them). The problem is that for certain Killers to be decently powerful, you need the rarer ones. No Killer will suddenly become top tier for having an infinite amount of commons. They dont change enough for that. Integrating add-ons into their kit without having to spend add-on slots; thats a different story, and where they should be aiming for in a couple of cases (Trapper, Pig, etc).
Ghost soot, Wraith: Am I a joke to you?
-
I actually feel the opposite way.
IMO swamp maps are balanced for both sides (except the dead zones for nurse).
Places to hide, open areas, changes in elevation that allow sneaking, good number of windows, pallets, etc.
I'll take 5 swamps if you delete Haddonfield.
-
I think it's a lot better this way. Killers used to hunt using sounds are finally not screwed by music blasting their ears.
If it's a bug, make it a feature please.
If it's intended, thanks. My colorblindness really thanks you

Except, once he pops a Gen, the Killer has a better idea where the Survivor is, and where he may be headed.
Again; no. People need to stop suggesting ideas that rip control out of the Killer's hands.
The killer is SUPPOSED to be in control!
This punishes Killers because some people are unhappy if the Killer plays a way they, specifically, don't want him to play. Please stop trying to dictate how Killers are supposed to play like there's some sort of Marquess of Queensberry Rules to Killer play.
Waiting 80 or 160 seconds just to get a slight clue of where the survivor could be seems like a waste of time for me. I will just find him quicker if I close the hatch.
Now there's only 2 spots he could be.
-
@Akisohida said:

There is indeed a reason to not close it:
When I'm killer and there's 1-2 gens left & hatch, I don't always want to close the hatch, because that's REWARDING the Survivor; it's speeding up his chance of leaving by triggering the exit gates.
Sorry, but forcing a time limit & then triggering EGC without Killer input takes the power away from Killers, which is already happening way too much. Please no.
But how are you going to accomplish anything by standing on the hatch? The survivor would have all the time and freedom to work on 1 or 2 gens without you applying any pressure.
And if that happens, gates will power and you'll have to patrol them, exactly as if you closed the hatch in the first place.
-
Agree with OP. There's no point in finding the hatch first and not interacting with it. And it would work both ways. Stay a while more just to teabag and you could get the hatch shut on your virtual goods.
2 minutes sound fair enough.

I like how the prices and auric cell amounts don't line up so you always have like 30 auric cells that you can't do anything with
That's one of the tricks. The first one being "virtual currency".
First, they'll make you buy packs of "little funny innocent coins" with real money. Because getting you detached from the idea of wasting real money in virtual goods is the first step.
Then they'll slap price tags around carefully calculating stuff, so you will never, never end up with zero funny coins after purchasing something. What will you do with your spare funny coins, since you can't change it back to real money?? It would be a waste if you just leave them there!
Simple. Buy more and look to spend them again, perhaps THIS time you'll find out how to spend them all at once...

I’d say that exposed is a powerful effect yet killers don’t have to work that hard for it with some perks.
Please play survivor with MoM and try to get 3 stacks. Upload the video.
I want to see if 5 gens manage to get completed while you are attempting to get the stacks and handicapping your team. In fact I’d want to see if you are even still alive to get use out of MoM, As killers tend to go after the unhooker/body blocker anyway.
The point I’m trying to make is for that gain of one health state what have you lost in trying to get it? The game? Or even worse not even have it activate because you die.
I’d say it’s comparable to Rancor, seeing as both require you to throw the game to get full use out of them. Although Rancor is actually more useful than MoM.
This is the problem with handing that many free, effortless health states to survivors for so long.
Instaheal? Press a button and there you go. 1 or 2 states.
DS? Hit a "skill" check and you have it.
BT? Do nothing and just tank a hit. (I have ZERO problem with this perk though)
Adrenaline? Be alive at that moment and you'll get it. (Again, no prob and we're used to it by now)
MoM old version? Play a match for long enough and profit.
The only exposed status that doesn't requiere any work from the killer is NOED. And as such, it can be disabled before or during it's active state.
Now a survivor has to work for that extra health state, and so, will ask for it to be free, as before.
-
Colorblind threads here, on steam and reddit have talked about this for a long time now.
At this point, seeing no action, I'd say they don't care about it.
But here, take a red pallet stun vfx that no one ever asked.
-
Personally, I say screw it man.
3-1 is a win in my book
-
It's a failure, yes.
I'm currently R7 on both sides, so I should get games playing as one of them at least.
Same experience: 20 or more minutes as killer and didn't even create the damn lobby.
Switched to surv: 15 mins waiting to join a lobby. Didn't happen. I'm done for the weekend, at least.

What does this have to do with the subject?
Also if you find that many pallets you probably ain't update your game since 2017
It has all to do with your post.
You're being Captain Obvious in yours, so I'm being Sherlock in mine.
There, spelled it out.
And count the pallets in the temple of purgation, then come back.

Killers want you to cleanse the totems because the time you're spending running around the map like an idiot looking for the totems is time you could spend working on generators instead, at the end of the day it gives the killer more time to get some hooks/sacrifices, it's a win win situation for the Killer.
LMAO
Exactly as survivors want to be chased around the map looping each one of the 20 pallets 3 times before dropped. All that time chasing one guy is time not spent hooking the rest of the survivors.
Was this a joke or what??
-
It's busted, again.
Couldn't open a single killer lobby in 20 minutes.
Then I switched to survivor, expecting instant matchmaking. No, not a single lobby in more than 15 minutes waiting.
So it's not a matter of "too many killers"

A "normal" week of work in most countries will consist of 40 hours, 48 hours in some of them.
