But bad jokes aside, you can google how P3 looks on Laurie and decide afterwards.
She doesn't have any cosmetics for sale in the store so far, so perhaps she's one of the very few cases in which a P3 outfit will look better than any other option.
About items and addons, you can play through them and save up a million points before hitting the prestige button. You can also level up another character until you empty your inventory. It's all up to you, really.
-
With the time you invested in typing this post you could have already gone to P2 at least

Your friend can completely live without Legion, Plague, Ghostface, Freddy and Piggy (arguably).
Maybe he can buy certain characters with shards, and perks in the shrine.
-
I agree with all you guys, something is just wrong today.
Yesterday I wasn't having these issues
-
Just had two matches a while ago, playing as Wraith.
4/4 Dc in the first one
2/4 in the second one
That absolutely proves Wraith is OP and needs nerfs

No, Correlation does not equal Causation.
And anyone with a slight knowledge in statistics knows that.
-
Event or not, I just play normal.
That means, for kills, saves, heals and escapes.
-
It's been very good, outside of some long queues as killer.
Survivor waiting times have not been too long on ps4
-
PS4 survivor queues are not that bad, in my case.
We may infer there are a lot of people playing killer just for the event, as @Redd says.
-
Experiencing exactly the same problem right now

if by "always" you mean one day out of the month, then sure
i'm currently rank 11 and have had rank 14s and 13s in literally all of my solo queue games since reset
you should really get a better understanding of this topic before you accuse other people of having confirmation bias
I specifically stated the 13th of the month. Meaning rank reset just happened and all the R1s are playing TODAY at R10.
I even said your argument would be valid on the 20th under certain conditions, but yeah, you can just keep thinking whatever you want.
I'm out, good luck finding good players out there.

You seem to have this game confused with F13.... which is trash
Whoa there. F13 is not trash. Maps are really well done, music, ambient, an always dangerous slasher, enough chances to survive, the ability to fight back. Yeah glitchy and buggy, though. But you know which other game is buggy all the time?
Well the only thing I really dislike about F13 are the obnoxious 12 yo yelling over the mic. But the same goes for every multiplayer game online.
-
Lol, sure. Since they changed the rank you're dropped to, I've not been matched with people under R10 on the 13th of the month.
Maybe your argument could stand if R1 dropped all the way down to R15, such as it was before. Do you remember that?
But anyway yeah, it's always the rest of the guys who need to step up their game.
-
Least scary and least threathening is Legion. How on Earth a girl like Susie would even pose a threat to guys like Tapp or David, used to manhandle punks and thugs every day? I find it ridiculous honestly.
-
Creepiest one is Myers IMO. I just love when you see him stalking you from afar. You know that man is dangerous.
Hag is more of a cheap jumpscare for me. Especially with the sfx blasting your ears when you trigger a trap.
Spirit and Huntress have the scariest mori animations though. Spirit looks evil and Huntress... Such power...

what is this pedantic nonsense?
it's pretty well known that rank reset tends to match experienced players with inexperienced ones and it's one of the reasons why it's such a badly designed function
normally i'd agree that constantly blaming your team for sucking is a case of dunning-kreuger but in the case of rank reset there's plenty of substance for thinking your teammates aren't very good
If you were R1 on the 12th, you'll be R10 on the 13th.
Do you know who else is playing R10 on the 13th?
R1 and R2 from the day before.
Where are all those "bad" players coming from?
If you had posted this on the 20th without having played a single day after reset, yes, you would be matched with people that were probably way under your ranking before reset, IF they played a lot and ranked up on those 7 days.
Otherwise, it's just parroting stuff without substance.
-
Besides, what substance do you want to add to your already substance-less rant?
"Everyone out there play like idiots"
Sure, you're open for a highly intellectual discussion.

Funny how almost everyone can relate to this, and it's not just me. Funny how you came here to be condescending and add absolutely nothing of substance to the conversation. Funny how you're so edgy. :D
Legitimately, though. It's one of the biggest problems with rank reset. You're either a solo with boosted team mates who urban evade everywhere, or you're a team of god tier survivors bullying a baby killer.
That's actually my point.
"Everyone" relates to this. If everyone is so good, and the rest are so bad, how come "everyone" suffers from it? How come all the "everyones" don't run into each other in the lobbies as randos?
Oh, I know. That's because only the good ones are here posting. And the bad ones don't.
-
We're running in circles at this point. No one will make the other guy change their mindset, so fine, I'm outta here.
What I'm getting about all this is, even if I actively go out of my way to NOT tunnel, I'm eating DS, so I may as well actively TUNNEL, to take it away as soon as possible, and prevent it from biting me in the endgame / gates open.
Just like old DS. And hey, we all survived.
See you around guys.
-
Funny how it's always the rest of the people who play bad. Not me, of course. Them.

i'll respond like every killer main trying to argue that noed shouldn't get nerfed:
Dude Are You Serious? This perk already got A LOT of nerfs in the past. it's enough!
We're not talking about NOED.
Besides, NOED can be disabled even before it activates, OR while it's active. Show me the totem I must break to prevent eating non-tunneling DS in a match.
And if you want to take NOED away, fine, erase it, I don't care about NOED. Do the same to DS and we have a fair trade.

So what? The perk stipulates that you need to wait 60s. If you went for 2 other guys, then you should barely have any time left.
The perk doesn't need to perfectly align with your vision for it. That's not how balance is determined. What's actually important is how viable it is. Again, Borrowed Time fails to be an anti-camping perk at times and that is okay. DS fails to be an anti-tunneling perk at times, and that is okay.
The difference being, when BT fails at being an anticamping perk, it doesn't screw the killer.
When DS fails at being an antitunneling perk, it screws the killer.
And why are we acting as it didn't get buffed just after being nerfed? Increased the stun time to 5 secs because of enduring, and now enduring doesn't even work on DS stun.
But let's keep the 5 sec stun, right.
Besides, if you wait for the 60 secs to run out the survivor will just get another chance at it at the next hook, so pick your poison.
Adrenaline doesn't align with my "vision" either, but it's a fair perk. A strong, fair perk.
Non tunneling DS is cheese.

@Vampirox said:
DS is not a 60sec Immunity #########? you can slug that guy and go after the next, its called Map Pressure!!! It's something killers are forgetting hence why so many killers need Ruin. Watch Hybrid Panda (future killers) he got to rank 1 as killer without "RUIN" is all about the pressure.
When you actually reach R1 and don't lobby dodge swf, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Slugging people is good, yes. Until they are part of a team loaded with aura perks, instaheals, unbreakable, etc.
If slugging was the Panacea, Knockout would be the king perk.
-
@Visionmaker said:
@SlickSal You should always expect commonly used perks. I don't need to fall for Dead Hard to know they have it. If you are always so successful at downing multiple survivors, then perhaps you should get into a habit of slugging the unhooked survivor.
@Condorloco_26 No duration based mechanic is revealed to the killer. I don't see why this needs an exception.
You're the one talking about waiting 10 seconds.
I'm the one talking about I shouldn't even worry because I didn't tunnel, since I went for 2 other guys. Not only one, but two.

@SlickSal Not waiting 10 extra seconds for DS to wear off is not exactly playing well.
Add a timer on all recently unhooked people then, and I'll agree with you.

@mcNuggets Start up a KYF with 3 friends, then get your friends to hook the other survivor. Pull them off hook, and you'll see a progress bar. That's your time window to be grabbed. Once it's full, you'll complete the channel and can't be grabbed
If you manage to do 3 - 4 gens in less than 5 minutes, where's the need to protect yourself from tunneling?
See, we could do this all night long.
-
It's better to just report them and treat the matter directly with the devs.
A lot of chumps see these exploits and immediately try to replicate them/investigate about them.
-
Cheating is going against the rules. Bannable 100%
Toxic is going against good manners and sportsmanship. Not bannable.

I already play F13 for one shot guns and shotguns.
And Jason has the ability to instakill anyone in that game, remember that. No 3-hook spider monster thing.
-
I think you experienced what I call "The Bubba Syndrome"
All survivors playing vs LF are subject to suffer the "The Bubba Syndrome" in which they immediately disregard the killer's strength, their IQ drops by 80 points and start doing stupid stuff they wouldn't do against other killers.
Grabbing someone off a gen with LF just means that guy was playing stoned, or suffering an acute case of
"The Bubba Syndrome"

@Visionmaker said:
DS is fine where it is.
We don't need to change perks over concept purity. For example, there are situations where the "anti camping" perk, BT, fails to counter camping. That does not mean BT needs a buff.
It is not overly powerful. It is not overused. It has counterplay. It is fine. We need not complicate it.
Yet BT has recently received 2 buffs because of stupid Legion coming into the game.
BT was already very fine without them. But even with them now, BT doesn't feel like cheap cheese.

"A straw man is a form of argument and an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent."
Refuting an argument not presented? Says the guy doing exactly what I said he's doing - trying to nerf anything good survivors have into the ground. Not even that I consider DS that good, but still, something people like, and you want it gone or made absolutely useless because it doesn't agree with your delicate killer ego. Then what? A new meta will come out, survivors will adapt, and you'll demand that be nerfed too. When will it end?
No, it's not a straw man argument. But nice try. You can be hypothetical, and exaggerating without creating a straw man.
Strawman 1: Saying killers ask for already-hooked survivors.
Strawman 2: Saying killers ask for Vigil get nerfed.
Strawman 3: Saying killers ask for survivors' legs get chopped off.
Do you want me to go on?
Reality: Killers asking for DS to be an actual antitunneling perk.
And current DS is NOT an antitunneling perk. It's a 60 secs immunity perk. I've been hit at least 5 - 6 times with it AFTER hooking 2 other people on those 60 secs. Tell me the newest definition of tunneling then, if you think it applies in this case.

The killer should be the power role, yes, but that isn't an excuse to nerf everything survivor related into the ground. No, you can not, under any circumstance argue that survivors shouldn't have second chance perks. It's a video game. It's meant to be fun, FOR EVERYONE, not just killers.
If killer mains like you had it your way, survivors would spawn already on hooks. Easy games, easy life. Some killer mains need to get their heads out of their asses - survivor perks have been nerfed into the ground in the last year while killers have had more buffs than nerfs. Which is good - don't get me wrong, but now you're at a point where you're just nitpicking and being entitled about what you're asking for in terms of nerfing survivor things. Get better, exercise a little skill-building. Don't continuously try to get anything good survivors have nerfed into the ground. It's at a point where "entitled killer main" is becoming a thing. Which I never thought would happen.
Then again, survivors already have 3 lives.
No one is arguing about adrenaline, self care, balanced landing, hope, prove thyself, iron will, urban evasion, lithe, alert, dead hard, even borrowed time, etc... All of them strong perks. Very good perks in the right builds.
The game should be fun for both sides, yes I agree. Tell me how is getting cheesed fun for you? Like with all the stupid Old Legion mechanics?
Old DS was bad design and similar to receiving 3 kicks in the nuts,
Now you only get kicked in the nuts once, so why are you crying?
And the thing even got worse with MoM. But hey, at least they're already changing it and not after 2 years.
-
About the Prestige thing, there will be a lot different opinions.
Mine is, it's not worth at all. Specially on Myers since I'm not impressed with the bloody cosmetics you get as rewards. Maybe Leatherface looks real cool all bloody. But other than that, it's just a HUGE, ENORMOUS time consuming task. Especially if you plan to play other characters too.
But there will be people saying it's all worth it. So on that one, it's all up to you to decide.

I got my LF to level 35 and bought teachable BBQ. Will it appear in Myer's tree at a lower level? (Like uncommon)
@InFernoZ22 Yes, it's possible. I've got BBQ as soon as the level 3 bloodweb of other killers. It's all RNG though.
The thing you've got in your favor right now is you have a clean slate, and with only a couple of teachables unlocked, you guarantee you'll have all perks at Tier III when you reach level 50 (approx 1,600,000 bloodpoints).
That's why I would try to go first for the 2 or three teachables I'd deem "very important"m and then go full Myers all the way to level 50.

@artist said:
and what about situations where I do get tunneled off hook but I play well enough to not get downed within 60 seconds? in getting tunneled but my "anti-tunnel perk" isn't helping me. there are issues for both sides, I'd prefer to just leave it as is
@artist I wouldn't mind adding a third condition, in which if a survivor is chased right off the hook and DOESN'T break chase (meaning, winning it, losing the killer) the perk is is still active. (None of that Terror radius bullcrap).
That way it will ONLY punish tunneling.
And the fair thing would be: if the guy wasn't chased off the hook, DS won't proc.
But everyone is gonna cry, so... I agree with the condition mentioned by @SlickSal which IMO would solve the problem.
The rest of you guys, the same guys as always, are pulling the same old strawmen.
Because asking to not get punished after hooking 2 OTHER guys is too much, and equals asking survivors starting the match hanging on hooks.
But keep doing your thing, you're already getting killers with no effective power, so we're heading in the right direction now.

No skill? That a steaming pile of bullpoop right there. I do intend to practice with Billy at some point, and in that time, the tree's, fences, walls and cars shall bear the marks of my frustration and ineptitude.
By all means do it, it's disheartening at the beginning, but rewarding at the end.
A strong Billy in good hands is one of the few options killers have to tip the scale when playing against 4man teams. At least on console.
-
There are daily rituals for survivors too, if that's what you mean.
-
I've been posting about this specific issue for a long time now, saying getting hit by DS after hooking 2 other guys is just dumb.
Your idea could really work well, actually. That way, if a killer downs both unhooked and unhooker in a short time, DS would most likely still proc. But, on the other side, hooking 2 other guys would take away 30 secs from the timer and the killer wouldn't be unfairly punished.
-
I disagree, sadly. While both sides can troll and be ######### to each other during a match, there's a notorious imbalance on what lengths will they go after the match ends.
Survivors in this game are the reason I restricted my messages to "Friends only" and removed the ability to receive friend requests on PS4.
I've received ZERO rude texts from killers in almost 2 years of playing the game, while at the same time I received hundreds of text insults, party chat invitation spamming, friend requests with additional texts, etc. from salty survivors.
I had to clear my inbox several times to keep track of my real friends' texts, and it holds up to 150 conversations.
I once received over 100 party chat invitations during a SWF match after I killed the first guy. That's the only time I've ever reported anyone to PSN.
I've found blocking everyone is the best way to not participate in the turd flinging.
-
Why would it?
I think laughing a bit would be a ray of light, amidst all this darkness.

Wow, thank you very much for the knowledge bombs.
No prob man. @LordGlint also said something very important about efficiency in the bloodwebs, you'll save a trillion bloodpoints if you also do as he says.
-
What are you on guys? I think swamp maps are actually balanced and good for both killers and survivors. Survivors can both stealth and mindgame/run. No killer suffers a huge disadvantage playing on them, bugs aside.
The only concerns would be: Nurse has dead zones in both main buildings (which super sucks), and IMO sometimes it is too hard to find the hatch. But it works both ways, at least.
-
@LordGlint said:
yeah...im gonna STRONGLY disagree with Condorloco about not unlocking the teachables. This would make those perks impossible to get on other killers and remove build diversity. If for example, you wanna grab Knockout from leatherface to try out a slug build...Youd have to prestige leatherface and lvl him all over again.
I must tell you, you're wrong. Teachable Knockout and Franklin's keep popping up in LF's bloodwebs if you don't buy them. Any teachable from any character behaves similarly.
Say, if you want them after all, all you have to do is level up a couple bloodwebs for it to appear again. No need to prestige anything.
I know this because that's how I've treated my newer characters' bloodwebs. I don't unlock useless teachables that only pile up on top on the horrible grind.
-
Yet the forum is full of people stating "as a fact" that Billy requires no skill...
It's a matter of practice: without addons first, then one at a time, then mixing them up and finding your optimal setup.
