Time to squeeze some pinehead time in

All this video really did was show how balanced the core game is and how either side can drastically shift that balance by bringing meta perks coms items the best add-ons or map offerings.
The game is cluster always has been always will be. It's why I love it
-
New plauge feels amazing to play I love her brown tablet with yellow cup for 70 extra seconds of infect time rip medkit squads
I've been using tinkerer corrupt pop and bbq and having the easiest games of my life

Grey's? You mean the browns? Yes, they're good, the point is, the greens, which were upgrades from the yellows, are gone. To get the same speed as green speed Spirit, you have to use a yellow and brown add-on.
Large loops are a consistent problem with the game. It's the entire reason why Cowshed and Gideon have terrible design. Survivors aren't "supposed" to be safe there. If they are, it's a massive oversight, and no, breaking enough pallets and not playing around them will cost you the game.
No way I put brutal and spirit fury on spirit with the full power after breaking a pallet addon and was great you chew threw pallets like oni and bubba and the chase never really drags because of how fast you catch up

The info Adertha reacted to is all the information required to be safe in a large loop. She lost a hell of a lot more than the stand still mind games.
She has good purples and ultra-rares, but her greens took a massive nose dive.
Everyone reacted to her changed look at her yellow and grey's for consistent strength there hella good and easy to find. Plus why would anyone chase a survivor at a large loop? Survivors are suppose to be safe there, even then spirit go brrrrrrr shes still a race car brute forcing pallets with the power refill addon is ammmmmmazing
-
I agree brutal needs a buff to 50% would shake up the pre drop meta and give chase power to killers that need it like pig and clown

No, she is not top tier. She's A-tier, and that's being generous. A survivor can tell exactly where she is, meaning her invisibility only slightly delays a reaction, her speed being her weapon. This, and a lot of her accessible strong add-ons were removed. In a sense, she's been double nerfed. Sure, she'll perform well in small loops, but that goes out the window with large loops where simply delaying a survivor's reaction doesn't matter since those loops give a lot of wiggle room if you stand right on a pallet. Aside from this, she'll have nice mobility, but that's about it.
You can't tell exactly where she is it's a light and vauge directional sound you can't tell distance with it and even then she's a race car. Plus her add-ons are still hella strong and she got some cool stuff like full power after pallet breaks she still up there with blight hag and nurse for too tier kills she just lost her BS stand still mind games really
-
@gendoss said:
Yeah you can hear where she is now but that doesn't stop her from being incredibly faster than you. People think Blight is top tier and he can only move in straight lines. Spirit has full control, is physically invisible, and is extremely fast. She has barely been changed at all.
Shes still top tier but knowing when she's using her power makes it feel a thousand times better playing against her. And some her dumb addons got reworked. Only change she really needs is to her duration addons accidentally being recovery addons as well hopefully that gets address at some point

Can confirm on my Xbox boon circle of healing is disabled haven't been on my PC yet

Circle of Healing didn't kill Sloppy. Sloppy is still a much viable perk.
Med kits already made hit and switch targets hard now with super self care out there I think it's dead without a buff

36 seconds on a regular totem is not feasible, even with two Thrill perks stacked on top of each other. It takes 14 seconds to cleanse a hex totem, with TotH it becomes 21 seconds (after the increase to 50%). Basically a quarter of a gen, which is almost negligible considering the fact that about two survivors can be on a generator without worry, since one can be chased/hooked and the other will easily cleanse a totem before a chase is over, then potentially go for a rescue.
The issue isn't having a hex turned into a boon, it's that your hexes are easily dispatched with no chance of preventing it aside from dumb luck.
It's a huge time waster probably the best slowdown in the game now that circle of healing killed sloppy and if they cleanse not bless as a killer your winning in this patch

Half a gen with no great skill checks, toolboxes, or perks is 40 seconds.
The time needed to bless (not cleanse) a totem, with none cleansed/blessed already and Thrill in use (and no survivor perks at play) is around 36, so less than half a gen.
Hex totems take longer to bless and I did say hex totems and even then 36s on a normal totem is an amazing time waster hex thrill was buffed so now you don't need to defend your totems survivors are shooting themselves in the foot if their if their doing anything with totems while thrill is up
-
The time it takes to bless a hex with thrill up is just over half a gen that's amazing value even if only happens once in a game. If they bless two hexes while thrill is up it's one perk that bought you just over one extra gen passivly. If you manage to intrupt them once and they loss all the progress on that blessing it's by far the biggest time waster killers have for survivors.
RIP bless squads v a pinehead who knows how to find his box
-
Sounds like survivors are flipping your kill switch
-
One of my favorite perks hope it gets the windows of opportunity treatment in the future and gets the cool down removed
-
Ghost face is fine he's not the best but fun to play with his power recharge coming down to 24s base kit in the next up date he just need a good addon pass like what Billy is getting this patch
-
I'm a big fan of new thrill of the hunt because if how much better it makes running hex builds

It was already that way when I started playing, so it had to be just before or on release.
Ty yeah it use to only have 1 hook when it was added back when sabo was permanent then the former caused the ladder to get buffed to 4 hooks then normal hooks got respawn timers

Unless the killer has mobility, the aura reading from BBQ isn't really all that useful.
BBQ has aura reads? Here I was just collecting bp stacks

That sounds about right, yes. In the release version, though, Moris have never been basekit.
Gotchya, maybe you remember when did the basement get buffed to 4 hooks was that on release or after? Me and friend were arguing about it lol

back when getting downed for the first time meant you could be moried without ever being hooked
...If the killer brought a Mori offering.
Nope back in the day mori was base kit and did not require a hook
-
The devs want the flow of the game to be survivors smash gens early bc their spawn is unknown making them strong killer weak bc of lack of info.
Early - mid killer chases breaks pallets gets a down and takes the advantage having more info and giving survivors more objectives, then1 kill before all gens are done.
Then finally all gens done killer goes to one gate gets one more kill and the other 2 survivors escape out the other gate
So yes gen speeds are fine thier suppose to fly early

I always find it weird people consider looping something that was "discovered." In a game about time efficiency to resource management it just makes basic sense to run around an object an additional time.
Yeah that makes sense with how the game is now, but back when getting downed for the first time meant you could be moried without ever being hooked that extra loop was bigger risk especially since the killer was hosting. Then going back to alpha when it was 1 v 1 looping would have just been time wasting.
The game has evolved a great deal and as I typed this out I can't really recall when looping became the meta over hiding, maybe when Sprint burst was the best perk because exhaustion recovered while running?

So what is it, then?
There already is cross-progression between Steam and Stadia, and Switch has been officially announced to be joining them soon.
So obviously its not BHVR being unable to do it out of incompetence, because they have already done it for Steam and Stadia.
Do you think BHVR is intentionally leaving PS and XB players in the dust out of malice or something? Because it seems to me that it is more likely an issue with Sony and Microsoft.
My bet is that main issue is with how player data is stored seeing has now twice in dbds history we've experienced mass player account resets as a result of bugs.
An yes I consider bhvr as a whole to be incompetent considering thier patches are prepared and tested for months according to them and still come out as raging cluster storms like no other game I've ever played.
Then again behavior is the great company that brought us titles like The Suite Life of Zack & Cody: Tipton Trouble, and Disney's Kim Possible: What's the Switch? So maybe I'm wrong 🤔

COD is still going strong and so is dbd

It has nothing to do with the devs and everything to do with sony and microsoft. Sony and Microsoft make money from you buying the game and buying cosmetics. If they let you swap platforms with ease then they lose money.
No it's not they do it with every game. And Microsoft has dbd available on game pass for both Xbox and PC still no cross progression.

Survivors are able to face plant walls while retaining maximum run speed while killers slow down or even stop if they rub against the same wall or obstacle. This means killers can't get around loops as quickly making them take longer.
I don't understand why survivors can glide over things that killers get stuck on. The dev's should have implemented something to slow survivors a long time ago but they won't.
Thank you for the translation, could you respond to the poster in grammar form for me?
Survivors get got caught on obstacles and invisible edges all the time it's one of dbds scariest oh shiz moments. Thinking only one side gets caught by them is just confirmation bias
-
The game was originally designed as a one on one hide and seek game with the survivor having multiple lives and the killer being able to mori immediately without hooking
The games changed a bit since then
-
Yeah this company is doing better but they're still just a blist company with a one hit wonder at the end of the day
-
Bhvr is incompetent.
Cross progression is an industry standard at this point there's no reason they shouldn't be able to make it happen like everyone else who makes a video game in 2021
-
I use noed when I'm feeling lazy let the gens fly and have a quick game
I just don't like how you can facecamp the first survivor with noed in your pocket for another kill or two

Thrill of the hunt causes an explosion when survivors start cleansing any hex totem and slow the cleanse process at the same time making it a hex defense perk.
New Thrill of the hunt no longer provides said explosion but instead has the cleansing take a few seconds longer than now making it useless for its original purpose (actively defending hexes when they start cleansing).
With no noise notification there's no way to defend the hex so new Thrill is useless.
Except that blessing the new thrill will be equal to doing half a gen which can be interpreted and wipe all progress.
It's going to amazing on pine head against any blessings squads

Just uninstalled and dont think I will install again this time, I cant bring myself to play anymore.
I really tried to enjoy the game and ignore toxicity but its almost every game and it really takes a tool on your mental health over time and even affects your daily life.
Soloq is unplayable, tried to find others to play with but almost no one wanna play without voice chatting for some weird reason, and even when you find someone to play it,most of them just get tilted over anything then blames you and you never hear from them again.
Killer, win or lose, doesn't matter, toxicity is the same, theres always an excuse for survivors to complain and be toxic.
I know you can just hide the chat but this doesn't take away the toxicity going on in the game that is accentuated by some of the mechanics in the game that pretty much promotes toxicity to win.
Camping, slugging.Having your teammates dc after first down, killing themselves on hook, sandbagging, unhooking you in front of killer or teaming with the killer doesn't help either.
TLDR: Game just not fun anymore for me mostly due to toxicity.
See you next week 😂
Seriously tho this games community it beautiful and disgusting all at once the dulality is perplexing and I can't stay away from it
I hope when you reinstall your feeling better and make some good memories with some good games

Oh, thanks Captain Obvious. It doesn't make it fair or balanced that I just have to play the game in a really awkward and inefficient way in order to maybe put a little bit of pressure on the team. If the DS+BT combo wasn't in most people's kits, and if it didn't let the person who just got unhooked body block and tank hits for their team, this wouldn't be an issue.
Leave hook alone and you wouldn't be in that position pro tip from captain obvious 😜

I'm most excited for a boon build with my friend a buring all of my game offerings
-
I think iridescent addons should be power fun with no draw backs and alot rarer to get it's a little silly I can okay every game with highest rarity thing every game if I want easily
The power gap in perks being either useless or meta ei preditor v corrupt and flip flop v DS
The effectiveness of face camping the first survivor which is made even better with noed
-
Worth it Everytime especially if your not playing for the 4 k. Not every killer can make use of the aura but the BP feels amazing no matter what all I care about in my trials are my 4 stacks and doing something cool or funny
-
Killers should be the only ones allowed to use map offerings survivors should have all their maps deleted and refunded bp
-
The core of dbd is solid it's why we all have thousands of hours on it over the last 5 yrs
-
I always run into the basement first thing and yell to my friends "territorial imperative check"
Also I love runng territorial imperative
