I take responsibility for my actions. DC penalty is a good and necessary measure and I'll never complain about it. Nevertheless, I refuse to take part in someone's mock fest when I'm the last survivor left and the Killer already won the match but feels the urge to BM the heck out of losing side. I stick to other, healthier measures that imply avoiding a player if they displayed any signs of scummy behavior, but I can understand players who just had enough of winners' BS.
I can certainly understand being annoyed by this type of silly immature behavior. But, by DCing, aren't you giving them exactly what they want?
As well, forfeiting any points earned. Seems a big price to pay to make a point to someone you will never meet and is probably 12 years old.

You got a copy of that contract over there? 🤔
Yeah, it's called the DC penalty. It is also against forum rules to promote DCs. So, I'd say it is pretty clear

If the killer BMs, the player is not obliged to deal with his BS.
You are obliged to stay in the game tho and not DC

RIP hook suicide.
People will just walk away if they want to suicide.
Only thing is now killers will get more hook actions and Survivors a chance to get saves. But, don't think those that want to suicide are suddenly going stick around because of skill checks
-
I'm sure they are running out of ideas for killers and new powers.
I wish they'd stop worrying about new content for awhile and concentrate on bugs right now.
-
Another participation trophy crybaby thread.
You are the kind of player that destroys the solo q experience.
-
First match..still have the trophy.
2017, Lerys, after watching my daughter play I agree to join. We get our asses kicked, they all die, I run, turn the corner and jump into the hatch.
First game, first escape, first trophy. Proceed to laugh and tell my daughter and her friends how EZ this game is, lol.
Been a long time

I never said they can't I just want to know when in became unfun to play. Yes everyone has a different opinion of what's fun but seriously it's becoming ridiculous
I didn't say you did. I was speaking in general about the game as a whole. Not you personally.
-
My guess is it will be similar to the PH cages.
-
At this point. I'm pretty sure OP is a master baiter.
Too much time on their hands, amongst other things.
-
The thing is everyone's win definition is different and fun is subjective. As such, if you have a 4k win definition as a killer, you will seize any opportunities you can to make this happen, hence adding to your fun.
However, this directly affects another person's game, killing them or tunneling, etc, making their game experience unfun or a loss in their own definitions. This can also be argued to be true in reverse.
Simply put, there are two many perspectives as well definitions of fun and wins, for everyone to be happy all the time. Play chill and sweats have no fun, play sweaty and the chills have no fun. I say play the way you want to verse, and be happy to be "doing you". And respect those that do it differently.

I'll answer that question. Honestly it a 50/50 win rate for me cause I dont care for a 4k. To me a win is 2k or more. Plus I like having fun with the survivors and scaring them.
Thank you, you are the first. And I respect that you play to your own win definitions, I do now as well. I also respect those that want to sweat their asses off, but I find many of those are the ones that come to the forums and cry about how strong swf is because they lost a game or two. It always makes me wonder , if they are here complaining , are they losing often?
Thanks for the reply, I agree with you, fun is more important to me than any arbitrary number of kills or escapes.
-
The nerf is coming, but doubtful it will closely follow the DS nerf.

Both sides have unfair addons
Both sides have things that can make the game unfun. But, really, what survivor add ons left would be considered OP? Maybe BNP when stacked with SWF, but other than that?

swf is stacked and the game is in their favor
That is one opinion. I would counter, in only the highest levels of play. But , once again, my question goes unanswered.

nah without SWFs then killers would be balanced to be fair to solos.
the only reason nurse and spirit aren't getting nerfed is because of SWF and the devs know by nerfing those 2 right now it will cause a huge uproar in the killer community and SWFs will go unmatched
Devs can't balance killers around both solo and SWF it's not possible.
Please...those of us that have battled red ranks for years have no problem with 90% of SWFs out there. I'll ask, like I do in all these kinds of posts, probably going unanswered again, Do you lose more than you win as killer?
And if you are saying with the removal of SWFs, than you can balance around solos, then you are admitting killers would be nerfed to vs Solo Q. Surely you can not be advocating for the removal of SWF and a killer buff, can you? And if we are saying that, then we say killers that hate SWFs want an easier game, because they know they have an advantage over solo q.
I would counter, that if SWF is such a huge problem for a killer, than they are not a great killer.
-
Yeah let's get that kill rate in the 90s
-
Depends I guess if you're a P3 50 every character person or not.
I like my P3s
-
You have to be the only killer still crying about DS.
-
I imagine some folks need/want the points. I personally don't care about points anymore after 4 years on this game. I enjoy a fun match where I get challenged and have a chance to get better. So, I don't farm. I just do gennys until I can get out or killer gets tired of swinging his weapon and grabs me and hooks me.
As killer, I don't farm either. I play pretty damn "fair" anymore, so I often get a lot of hook actions. But if say Haunted grounds pops just as discordance lights up, and people quit on the hook because of it. Then I may just let the last player find the hatch.

right and keys run rampant
it's not balanced.
I didn't say anything about keys? Why did you tag me on this?
-
Yeah, good. They were OP before anyway. This was a healthier change.
-
They can tbag all they want, but like others have said, it is hard to get away with it against her. I do love the phase hit mid bag tho!!
-
Not too often, and rarely in the "toxic"/petty kind of way. I play a lot of killer, so I often understand why the killer is slugging in that moment.
I'll say, I don't get slugged enough to run unbreakable yet.
-
If you say so. I actually enjoy getting 3 PC players when I solo q. Especially when they are a SWF. I know I am getting competent loopers and gens will get done. Also in my experiences they will always save you before second, just stay patient on the hook.
There are ######### teammates on all platforms, maybe you just had a couple of bad games.

Tapp’s cosmetics are really good I love them all!
I totally agree!!!
-
Im a Tapp main, so I appreciate the post. I also run Elodie and Adam. But My P3 Tapp is my go to .
-
I don't see how this is a killer problem or a MMR problem. Sounds like if you had a good MMR, you would have better teammates, and perhaps faced a killer you couldn't run for 3 gennys.
-
I agree with a lot of killers here. Killer is at its easiest state ever, and I have handicapped myself with self imposed rules. And still have great success.
The longer you play, the easier it gets. I mean it is a pretty repetitious game.
-
I'm sure this pisses off everyone of us that play solo q. I don't care how people defend it, but you could always do something that benefits the team more than just DCing.
#########, if you're glitched, take agro for as long as you can.
-
It's hard to know, maybe new or recently prestiged and limited perks.
Or not confident in their skill with the saw.
Seems a waste of a perk slot to me.
-
Hatch is a stupid mechanic, IMO. I'd rather see it go away and just power the doors when one survivor is left alive.
But it's really not that big of a deal. It's not an every game problem
-
I thought you meant "To OP" like the original poster. Like you were going to tell people if you make a post/thread, at least keep up with it and reply to those that comment. So often I see threads started and you never hear from the OP again.
But, I think you meant "Too OP". And then forgot the /S
-
What the hell is this post?
I know...bait and you got me. But what the ######### are you talking about? What about your responsibility to learn to loop and get better at survivor?
I know....I know....bait and you caught me.
-
I'm sorry for your bad experiences.
But please, don't use this as an excuse to become another ######### selfish solo q teammate.
Keep being a team player, we need more of those than the selfish players.
-
I have ran DS for awhile now. I also noticed a rise in tunneling tactics. But sometimes I would go all night and hit it once or twice.
No hyperbole, I think I hit it at least 10 times last night. And my wife ,who I SWF with, about the same.
I know one killer last night got hit 3 times in one game.
It is still a good perk. But the tunneling meta is real.
-
I ran DS all night on my Friday night SWF session. Ironically I hit More DS last night than any gaming session I can remember.
Still an effective perk, especially at end game. Just think you should be able to heal yourself to 100 before it deactivates.
I don't see why you would stop using it if you liked it before. Still does what it is supposed to.

I would try to hide next time if it would be possible.
Certainly, just remember he can see your aura inside the exit gates. So if you noticed BW, run outside the gates and find and area to hide and loop if needed.
-
Yes, it was kinda BS to be able to do gennys, totems, etc with no fear. But I still believe you should be able to heal yourself to full health without it deactivating.
As far as health of the game. Certainly, those 59 second DS hits were Bull #########. As well those that just waited to take hits and go down, simply to use DS at end game. Yeah, I'd say much healthier for the game.
Also, kind of funny that those that voted, No, have a total of 3 upvotes between their accounts.

Nope, bro this isn't a joke why all you thinking this is a joke? there is maybe a race who type more times "Joke" Win?, anyway No it isn't a joke i don't got the oppurtunity to leave the exit door in time so that was just an unlucky match as all of you wanted to hear it okay.
I believe many of us think it was a joke or bait post because Blood Warden is so easily countered. As well you can usually determine if the killer has it by their playstyle, especially at end game. Also, throughout the game, you kinda figure out a killers perks, and can kind of determine if he seems to have an endgame build.
Also, if you get to the gates, look and see blood warden, sneak away and hide for a minute.
-
This is a joke, right? It has such an ez counter. And if you get caught with it up, go hide and sneak around for a minute. Then leave, ez
-
Another silly pointless post to divide the community.
You do know a lot of these original rules were created by the early killers as well? As a way of pointing at newer killers and demonstrating a higher level of skill than just tunneling and camping. Back when the community was smaller and we would play each other multiple times in a gaming session.
I know when I first started playing I never touched survivor. It was killers that told me only Noobs run NOED. Only Noob killers camp..etc. It wasn't survivors that created that mantra for me. It was watching, learning, and talking to more experienced killers.
But, once again, thanks for you post contributing to the division.
-
i like BT, but hate to give up a perk slot. I'll take the hit if need be. And run bond so I can usually make the right play on when to and when to stay on gennys
-
Spirit
Haunted Grounds, Devour, BBQ, Discordance
Offering, bloodpoints
addons,white hair ribbon and sportscap
Survivor, the one with the most medkits for that night, or someone new to break any bad luck
Perks, Bond, DH, Ds, Kindred if solo, botany if swfing.
medkit, green, purple or yellow as fast and as long as I can make it.
offering, bloodpoints

That’s exactly what I had commented in several discussions. Let the trash killer kill you and find another match
That is a fair opinion!!
-
A streamer I like said, "I don't run DS anymore. Because when you need it, those are the games you don't enjoy nor want to stay in anyway."
Makes sense to me. Tunneling killers are going to tunnel. Die and move to the next game. And DS is still a good perk, just can't be abused. It really changes nothing for me, as I use it. I always heal with a fast medkit as soon as I can anyways. So like I said, give me ten seconds then game on....
-
I am doubtful we are getting a buff on him too quickly. I think they will be slow with his buffs, so they don't appear killer biased after the DS improvements.
-
This whole game has become an April Fools event.
-
Enjoy it while you can. Because after DS nerf,
You know Noed is going on the altar of sacrifice to appease the survivors.
-
It is a great perk and puts an obsession in the game as well.
I like to run in from time to time. But more when I SWF than solo.
