Yeah as long as they donβt camp at 5 gens, I always give credit to killers. But damn solo que just forces you to play with friends Because your teammates are unreliable
Yeah, camping at 5 gens would not be a killer I would consider good,.
-
Same, for me last night. I can't remember how many times I went to second stage on first hook. Luckily I don't plan on escaping anyway, so I didn't get too frustrated with it, and it became a challenge to see if we could recover the match.
And, shout out to the killers as well, lot's of good ones were on last night!

The amount of times I blamed my poor looping on being high...
Yeah, I've been known to add that to the mix, after I've had enough drinks. Lol. I have had killers message me and ask if I was alright, due to running into walls on nights I stayed on too longππ
-
I know for me, when the bourbon kicks in, my loops become a bit sus!
So, obviously, I was over served, and I blame that on my bartender/wife. If I'd have been sober.....that killer got carried by my BAC!

I remember there is another Clown main that used David avar, he was the first Clown main on forum that I knew. But he quitted the forum because its so toxic or something. After he quits, ClownIsKing joined forum not long after.
Gotcha, I vaguely remember another clown main.

No kills is fine but no escapes too? Dont you get really bad teammates after a while?
I am trying to keep my survivor mmr somewhat high so I have always good teammates. Not mega sweats but very skilled
I do start escaping once my teammates get too bad. But, at this point, I can carry a lot at this level.
-
Not me, I play chill all month long.
No escapes, few kills and all chills.
Have fun sweats!
-
Catch me if you can!
And 3 chases, just might cost you 5 gens,
And, for me, that's the most fun. All chases, no gen work and no raise in MMR.
Win win

Than new players can't ask questions.
Tough is the titty sometimes

For the last time, please make 250 comments a mandatory requirement for a thread to be made.
Please!!!
-
There are 3 main mindsets during these events.
Those that enjoy the spirit of the event and take it easy on each other, memeing around and keeping it light.
Those that just play normally and take the event as it comes during their normal gameplay.
And, lastly, the cotten headed ninny muggins , that only play to spoil it for others.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, if you are in the first two!
Bah Humbug, to you number 3s.
-
I'm not condoning a DC either, but against trickster, I don't mind dying on first hook
-
I never thought of sweaty as a negative.
Just highly competitive.
-
You have to be one of the rare killers on the forums that are not facing seal team swf every game.
Or others are using hyperbole in their stories.
Probably somewhere in the middle.
-
I personally slug afks.
And while I dislike when killers not only hook them, but return and rehook them after a save, it's more on the teammate to make sure they are in the game and participating.
Killer doesn't owe me anything, teammates do.
But, just another example of solo q BS.

Same.
Ever since they told us mmr is based on kills/escapes I stopped doing either and my games have become quite enjoyable again
Exactly, me as well
-
It's actually quite simple, as soon as you make a forum account, you automatically become high MMR as killer.
-
I don't escape or kill anymore.
Strictly playing for the journey now, destination be damned.
-
Ace.
Always Ace.
-
Doesn't matter, it won't be
-
Are you proud of this thread?
-
Just make the EGC start when there is one survivor left alive

As a very experienced Killer, I am in P A I N
The game is ######### miserable at higher MMR. Do I 4K most of my matches? Yes. That's not what I am arguing.
The high-skill experience of this game is the antithesis of fun. It takes the fun part and skillful part of the game (chases) and makes it something that will cost you the match for participating in.
Well, as an opinion that I highly respect on the forums, I will concede to your experience.
I don't play that way anymore, so I know my games are more chill ,but, all winnable.
But, if you face constant teams of survivors with the skillset of say an Ayrun, then I imagine it would be quite difficult. But how do you balance around just these two playstyles alone? And I'm sure there are many more.
High MMRers may have no choice but to play this way, because if balanced for high mmr it would kill the game for chill casual players.
If anything, I'd say adjust gen speeds to correlate with higher MMR players.
-
Honestly, it's what I said all along. The game is sided towards experience. The longer you play the better you get.
The balance is pretty good right now. Really good experienced killers are doing just fine. More casual players whom think they are really good are not, and hence, a vocal minority.

Once again, I move forward the motion that you need 250 comments, to create a discussion.
-
Personally, no.
I wouldn't even wiggle in this situation. And if they dropped me until I wiggled out, I would get some looping practice in.
That is, if I wasn't already in the kitchen getting a shot of bourbon waiting on the next game.

Basically yea. Whats so fun about getting beat so many times because you try to play "fair" by some imaginary definition. That you end up facing people who have no clue what to do ?
Yeah, I haven't gotten there yet, I don't sweat but still get good players, no noobs
And as survivor I don't escape, and still had 4 games in a row against Iri 1 nurse and others that destroyed us.
But then the games kinda leveled out.
But, I get both ways, just gotta play how you enjoy.
-
As in the player, or the character?
-
Tunneling at low MMR, yes.
Tunneling at High MMR, just means you care about staying and competing in high MMR.
-
I think it's safe to assume that the guy on the hook is getting camped.
If they're not getting tunneled that is. ππ

Maybe it's meant to do this but it's not working and one reason why is cause we have not enough killers so you get sweaty swfs with much higher mmr and more experience and that's cause the game is in a bad state for killer atm
As we see on both sides, sometimes MMR matches people with whomever is available, creating piss poor matches.
But, for me, most of my matches seem to even out throughout a gaming session .
-
I don't think anyone believes either are OK.
But as to why it is less hated. My guess is because when a killer does it the game ends and all can move on.
When a survivor does it , it tends to cost their team a chance to win and increases the odds that they will lose their items in a drawn out battle.
-
After your last post, I'd say it is probably a good idea.

they shouldn't balance around that, that's why new killers get nerfed
Whether they should or shouldn't is irrelevant, they do.
-
Yes, please take a break, it's a video game. If you were in any other relationship, and it was causing this reaction, you would leave, right?
So, do yourself the same solid here.
BTW, doubtful you will see any significant survivor nerfs. Kill rate is still over 50%, and that is what the devs balance around
-
Maybe they'll switch to killer.
-
Hell no, if I wanted to SWF, I would.
-
My advice, stop sweating, I did and my games are chill as hell.
I think if you want to sweat, face the sweats. Let us chills play each other.
-
Sometimes winning against Legion just isn't worth it.
Who enjoys mending 5 plus times a game.
We play the game for fun, if people aren't having fun, well , die and move to the next game.
-
I'd get used to em. Because if they were nerfing them, doubt they would be making more of em.
-
Fair enough!
-
Why not round that to 3.5?
-
Did I just enter the matrix?
-
We know, we know, flashlights are broken, medkits are broken, Dead Hard is broken, Boons are broken, gen rush is broken, looping is broken , body blocking is broken , BT is broken, DS is broken.
What should everyone do, not use the items available in the game? We hear all the time, tunneling and camping are valid strats. So too are the tools and tactics on the other side.
-
I've been accused of being a SWF when I was solo, so there is that

Mkay I'll give you prove thyself but cmon man Bt is essential for helping the boys, and how can a killer get pissed from not being able to tunnel?
No judgment, run what you like. I just prefer CoH to BT. I'll take the hit and they can go heal while I take chase.
But as @Aven_Fallen has stated, folks get mad for anything these days.

You piss Killers off by not dying to them already. You can run 4 Meme Perks and they will be upset that they lost. Killers are super sensitive.
I got called a Tryhard by a Nurse for running No Mither. And a Clown-Player (with Exhaustion Bottles) in a game where a Jake dropped all Pallets at the start was raging because I got lucky and found Hatch. Also while using No Mither.
Everything is possible.
Ouch....damn
