Your average killer is not facing "bully squads." If you want to go with the "average" argument, you can't cherry pick which side it gets applied to.

I didn’t cherry pick which side it applies to. I never said anything about bully squads. I agree that the same argument applies to both sides.

  • Well, since it’s Ghoul, I assume everybody gave up immediately

    They are correct, though crude.

The more you play, and presumably the better you get, the less that anxiety kicks in.

It’s one thing to say this stuff if you can back it up. That at least is a good-faith disagreement. Doing it with no experience on the side that you claim is “ez mode” is simply intentional trolling.

I don't get killer anxiety because it's easy mode, even with trapper. I get killer boredom from how easy it is.

If you get tunneled "every match" that usually means you are a weak link and probably have much room to grow, therefor it isn't a killer problem. Not saying that to insult… but killers generally don't tunnel unless they see an easy opportunity or are low MMR not knowing any better.
But besides that I disagree, I love getting tunneled, it usually means the survivor team will win cause I am confident in holding a chase long enough for the exit gates to be opened ;). Why would you want to sit on a gen at any given time? its boring and uninteractive. The fact that there are ppl like me who can hold 5 gen chases is proof enough for me personally that DBD is fine and even survivor favored. Most ppl just don't like hearing this truth and will downvote instead of improving their plays/loops. It is what it is.

Same here - I don’t mind being tunneled at all because it’s incredibly satisfying for me when I can make a chase last for multiple gens. Tunneling is only a problem when survivors cannot sustain chases for more than 20-30 seconds and quite honestly if you are getting downed that quickly in every chase then that is a skill issue. Trust me I have tried tunneling against good survivors who know how to loop and it usually ends poorly for me because multiple gens will get done while I am overcommitting to one person.

50%? like a fair and balanced game would aim for every player to have a 50% winrate

Escape rates used to be higher than they are now and I remember 15-20 minute survivor queues. With the current 60-40 target, survivor queue times (usually around 5 minutes) are still longer than killer queue when I play in the evenings (always instant), but at least it’s a lot more bearable. Devs could certainly choose to push the escape rates higher, but it would likely end up getting us back to the super long survivor queues we had a few years ago. I know I would likely play killer a lot less because most of the time I’m facing decent survivor teams and matches feel difficult enough as it is. I don’t play as top tier killers and enjoy more of the mid-tier killers. I don’t want to feel like I am forced to only play S-tier killers to keep up.

I know you are trying to deflect but it isn't working for me.

In another game, if you are able to acquire a skill in that game and use that skill to essentially be undefeated, the responsibility of those devs would be to nerf it and rightfully so. In any other game it would be nerfed.

I will shut up as soon as you show me a survivor that can escape 1,750 times just because they are using a item or abusing a skill acquired in the game.

I know this forum is a killer echo chamber that loves their ego so feel free to disagree and down vote me. At least I want fairness and healthy balance.

Will you at least answer this question: do you play killer yourself?

  • @PriestessPoppy said:

As per my stats.deadbydaylight.com stats, I have a 43% escape rate and a 78% killrate, survivor in solo queue just seems impossible to play right now. Peopl;e are disconnecting and giving up more than 60% of my games probably and the players are just not good enough to survive tunneling. I know people did not like the anti-tunneling changes but really right now survivors in solo q really need something to help them. Especially in skill rating like the 4 survivors are always on 4 different skill levels, i notice this as killer and as a survivor. Please do something, just please please please

43% escape rate and survivor side feels “impossible”? Like, how often would you need to escape for the game to feel fair?

I know everyone has a different opinion on this, but that’s about how often I escape and it feels extremely fair to me. It is a horror game after all, and escaping is not supposed to be easy. Playing as killer, I have to work very hard against coordinated teams and solo queue teams if the individual survivors are good at looping to have a chance at winning. At least to me it doesn’t feel like there is an issue with game balance.

I would agree with you if that applied to the overall player base - BUT IT DOESN'T. Again - I don’t know any other way to try to make you understand this - balance has to be done based on the experiences of the average player, not based on the performance of the top player in the world. Nerfing all killers because one guy is really really good would just drive away a bunch of killer players. Maybe that doesn’t matter to you because you don’t play killer, but it matters to the vast majority of players who are just average killer players (many of whom play both sides, by the way) and have to put in a decent amount of skill and effort to win in a good proportion of their matches.

One player ok? I'm sure there is more than that. It's not a skill only one person could have.

Let's turn it around. What if one person was so good at survivor they could escape 1,750 times? What about just 100 in public matches? You would definitely have a different opinion.

Making conclusions about balance based on extreme cases on either side makes no statistical sense. That’s like concluding “oh we have to nerf bats in baseball because Shohei Ohtani is too good at hitting.” Those cases mean nothing because they don’t apply to 99.9999% of players.

You have to look at the overall player population. Kill/escape ratio is 60/40 in favor of killer. That is a very intentional ratio target set by BHVR based on how many people want to play either killer or survivor. Clearly they found that this is the sweet spot where the highest number of people choose either side. Very important point: NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO LIKE IT. You cannot please everyone in anything in life. Plenty of players, including myself, are totally fine escaping 40% of the time while playing the survivor role. Some do better, some do worse. That’s how averages work.

If you’re doing worse, it’s not because the game balance is broken because obviously plenty of other players are able to do better. It means that you yourself need to do better. I’m not saying this in a derogatory way - I was very bad at survivor when I started playing, so I understand how it feels. But I played more, watched videos from content creators, learned how to improve and now I can escape fairly consistently. And I don’t play all that much - maybe 3-5 hours a week. If I can do it, anyone can.

    — Playing killer is too easy, you can get thousands of wins in a row!

    — Then why don't you play killer?

    — Me???

Yeah, this kind of thing gets tiresome. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when people who clearly only play one side come here and constantly talk about how “easy” the other side is when they have never actually tried it themselves, it’s tough to take those opinions seriously.

  • @mecca said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4040308#Comment_4040308

Go ahead and ignore how easy it is to play killer, can win thousands in a row, a thing impossible in any other "PvP" game. I'm very certain and most people with comprehension skills know killers have their hands held seriously. You want your wins given on a silver platter while telling survivors to just play the game.

I seriously encourage you to play killer sometime. Based on your post history, I’m drawing the conclusion that you’ve never tried it yourself. If I’m wrong on this, please feel free to correct me with some recent killer game stats. I think you’ll find that it’s not as easy as you seem to think it is.

  • @mecca said:

BHVR designed the game so one person can have a huge ego trip over other people. A good game would never allow one person a power role over other players because it gets abused.

The killer is supposed to have the power role - that’s the whole point of an asymmetrical horror game. It sounds like you’re looking for a symmetrical PvP and there are a million different options for that. DbD might not be the game for you.

They're venting frustration with the game. For once, can you just not? Reach way down and really try. Also, Trapper is fine as is, tbh.

It’s fine for people to vent their frustrations with the game, but when they say things that are objectively not true, it’s also fine for people to call them out on it.

  • @Junylar said:

It's also funny how people who defend DC penalties get angry when their teammates who want to go next throw the game and die instead of just DCing and giving the team a bot. If not for the DC penalty, you would get bots more often than just dead teammates, but causality here seems to be too hidden and complex for some.

We don’t want to play with bots. We want to play with people who actually want to try. We want the people who like to DC or throw matches to not play the game at all.

The DC penalty accomplishes this in two ways: 1) if you DC, you get temp banned so you can’t ruin other people’s matches, and 2) it forces players to stay in matches, so if you’re someone who will just give up at the slightest inconvenience, you’re more likely to decide it’s not worth it wasting your time waiting out a match you don’t want to be in and you’ll turn the game off.

Both of those things deter players who don’t care if they ruin other people’s matches and make the experience far better for the majority of players who want to actually try even when the game doesn’t go perfectly their way.

Every time the DC penalty has been temporarily disabled in the past, the game has become literally unplayable for everyone

DC penalty was disabled for years starting with the release of the game until they eventually implemented it for the first time. Does it mean the game was LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE FOR EVERYONE for several years? How did it even survive then?

I didn’t play back then so I can’t speak from experience, but I’m sure nobody wants to go back to those days except for you and a handful of others who want to be able to DC for any reason

the game feels like its basically been balanced by a low skilled killer main

    • killer friendly pallets/loops, remove god pallets, remove filler pallets, shorten or break most of the loops in the game, make sure loops can't be chained together
    • removed the only 2 good addons survivors had; there's literally no point in farming anything in the survivor bloodweb anymore
    • completely dumpstered fog vial after its introduction; now it just clogs an already weakened bloodweb and chests
    • completely abandoned any form of anti-slug update but actually nerfed tenacity while the update ongoing
    • dragged their feet for over a year promising an anti-tunnel update but ended up doing the absolute bare minimum; also nerfed the anti-tunnel perk OTR while the update was ongoing
    • continue to ignore the oppressiveness of blight, nurse and ghoul
    • continue to ignore the horrible match-making that makes solo queue hell

Agree with you on the horrible, non-functional matchmaking, but not on the other points. I really actually enjoy the survivor role provided I have decent teammates (which is a crapshoot given the stated horrible matchmaking).

On the killer side, I have some easy matches but some are just brutally difficult. I certainly don’t agree when I hear some people say that the killer role is super easy because it often is not. I don’t play S-tier killers like Blight or Nurse. Do you ever have difficult matches as killer? If not, what killers do you play and would you mind posting some video? Just trying to understand why you feel it’s so easy and hoping to pick up some pointers on how to play killer side better.

  • @mecca said:

I feel the same way. It's extremely hard to start the game. I immediately feel dread. Matches are predictably a failure time after time so that drains any excitement.

The game was finally ruined by the devs catering to one side.

Can you explain how the game is “catering to one side?” I certainly don’t see that in my experience. I play both sides and I have seen many easy survivor matches and many difficult killer matches. If the devs “catered to one side” (I assume you mean they cater only to killer side), why do I sometimes have extreme difficulty competing in some of my killer matches? It’s not all, but certainly some of them.

Do you find it extremely easy to win your killer matches consistently? If so, what killers are you playing as? Just curious to understand some reasons why your experience seems so different from mine.

Game used to be fun til they basically buffed all killers and nerfed any good perks for survivors. 8 out of 10 matches 4k deaths didn't even get a chance at the hatch. Used to be one of my favorite games but when you die every match it's just not fun anymore. We're not all uber try hard survivors. All I'm saying is its just not as fun anymore like I wanna a casual fun match dying constantly isn't fun. All I'm saying is used to be my num 1 go-to now I'm thankful there's arc raiders cause its sad but it's just not doing it for me anymore. Waited so long for attack on titan to come back an now I go into 1st match like aw dbd fun by the 8th game I'm just walking away from my control saying nooooope nope uh uh I'm out.

What killers were buffed? Don’t just throw that out there without examples, because it isn’t true.

I was very bad at the survivor role at one time, but I didn’t blame it on game balance or survivors being nerfed/killers being buffed. I just accepted that I wasn’t very good and worked to get better. Now I can hold my own most of the time, and when paired with decent teammates, manage to escape pretty regularly in solo queue. I’m happy to share my recent match history to prove it.

I’m not a hardcore semi-pro player. Just an average casual gamer with a busy family life who plays maybe a 3-5 hours a week. My point is if I can do it, anyone can.

I will side with the “survivor side is impossible” crowd on one point: the non-functional matchmaking is incredibly frustrating. The game is pairing me with brand new players even after I have demonstrated that I can sustain chases and escape regularly. This makes solo queue far more frustrating than it should be for me and other similar experienced solo queue players. But that has nothing to do killer vs survivor balance. BHVR simply continues to ignore this issue that in my opinion is by far the biggest cause of frustration with the survivor role.

  • Just no. Every time the DC penalty has been temporarily disabled in the past, the game has become literally unplayable for everyone. Every match had players DC-ing for the most minimal reasons.

If you’re having issues with your network, take care of that problem before playing PvP games. Individual network issues are no reason to ruin the game for thousands of other players.

yeah you have no good counter argument so you want to silence the truth, it's your political agenda. everything I am saying is based on observation including in-game but also the trends on social media. of course what I said does not apply to every killer main but there is definitely a trend if you are paying attention. it is necessary to generalize because I'm talking about the general tendency of an entire demographic of players. the purpose is to challenge the hive mind narrative which gets pushed by the biggest content creators.

I don’t have any “political agenda”. I actually play survivor more than I play killer. I’m simply tired of people like you who only play one side posting things like this that serve no constructive purpose and are solely intended to antagonize the side that they don’t play / don’t like.

played all day btw, honesty i wont even lie i will just be front and honest as possible, FIX UR SERVERS! i swear i never had such bad experience for so long, like what is this game? not only that i get the worst possible maps with the worst possible RNG factors, i also get terrible teammates that have allergy to gens and all those killers pub comping like their lives depends on every game, both in event and normals, i had looped a wesker 3min first chase, 3 freaking minutes and i had 0 gens done, the dude end up leaving me and getting other downs elsewhere, when there was no pallets on the maps he was able to down me then node at me and hump me on the floor, what is this? im 1000 times his level of skill and he gets rewarded for it? no wonder nobody wants to play soloq, disaster of experience, make a ping system, and fix the servers like damn i cannot believe i got hit from 3 meters by m1, all those killers will need actual skill to get me if not for their bs hits that hits behind walls and objects, hits behind pallets and windows, dbd is the only game where a person lack skill and get rewarded for it, ive never seen a game that reward such bad plays.

The MMR system is complete garbage and BHVR has refused to fix it for years. It’s beyond frustrating when you play really well match after match and still get put into lobbies with literal brand new teammates. I have about 3K hours in the game, and even after escaping regularly in solo queue I will get thrown into lobbies with <100 hour players.

Everybody knows that measuring skill on escapes alone is incredibly flawed, yet nothing is being done to fix this flawed system. BHVR keep telling us that they are going to work on improving matchmaking, but I have a very hard time believing that. They don’t prioritize anything unless there is an issue that is causing a significant decline in player count. So far, that hasn’t happened, apparently.

  • Agree that there are certain situations where players should be allowed to leave without penalty that are currently not allowed. I’d be fine with adding the ability for players to abandon without penalty when 1) any player is AFK for more than 2 minutes; 2) more than one survivor disconnects

  • @Crowman said:

The answer is simple. Does having people work on detection tools built into DBD's code to detect when impossible actions occur and do something about that make money? No it doesn't. Chapters and Cosmetics bring money.

100%. If it doesn’t help bring in more revenue, they’re not going to work on it, period. Not enough people are leaving the game due to cheating issues, apparently.

  • @jedimaster505 said:

the game is heavily killer sided according to science and objectivity. why then the killers crying so much about it being survivor sided? let me tell you...

    1. their MMR is inflated

first thing which happens is a new killer curb stomps their opponent when playing at their true MMR because the game balance holds killers hands. then their MMR skyrockets and who do they go against? primarily cheaters, sweaty swfs and the best solo Q vets Dbd has to offer. then their win streak is broken and they post a video demanding survivor nerfs. like yeah, when your opponent is primarily the sweatiest upper skill bracket with a bunch of subtle cheaters in the mix, that's gonna feel survivor sided. but you're ignoring the huge percentage of solo Q players that you effortlessly massacred on auto pilot to get to that point.

    2. entitlement

since killer is so easy they get used to getting 3-4k almost every match so they don't feel like they're "winning" unless they get a 4k every game. even though 2k is a perfectly balanced draw, in many killer mains eyes they see that as a loss because you can literally just meme around and get a 2k on auto pilot with even the low tier killers so it never really feels earned. they see their idols like momo and otz and true talent getting huge killer win streaks and they think they're a failure if they only get a balanced result like 50% kill rate avg. to be honest you kinda are since killer role is easy mode in 2025

    3. killer main politics

I watched a recent dev live stream on YouTube and a dev said to type K, S, or B in chat to see if you're a killer main, survivor main or hybrid. overwhelming the chat was flooded with K's. there were hardly any S's and B's.

this didn't surprise me. I've always noticed how much louder killer mains are on social media. there's a killer main culture where they learned to cry very very loud on social media. the moment a sensible balance change is implemented by the devs, social media is inundated with an angry mob of killer mains posting doom videos about how they're quitting dbd.

so this scares BHVR who then reverts the changes until they are a joke (cough cough...anti tunneling, slugging and camping). survivor mains complain just not nearly as loud and the most popular streamers tend to be killer mains , like otz and true talent who are basically the mascots of dbd community. and since BHVR wants to be able to say they "listen" to feedback, game design choices get largely dictated by subjective politics instead of objectivity. cause what they're largely hearing is the noise of all those K's in the live stream chat.

more examples, Reddit killer mains have a dedicated Dead by daylight killers subreddit and survivor mains have no such equivalent. they're just not nearly as coordinated in their digital outcry. or Steam reviews, there are far more killer mains threatening to uninstall if anti tunnel changes are implemented.

    4. survivor mains have learned to adapt, killer mains are stuck in their ways

survivors are always adapting to new killers added to the game, so we're used to learning new things and dealing with adversity, especially the solo Q vets. killer mains are set in their ways and not accustomed to adversity, so any sensible balance change that would make the game fair is perceived as BHVR ruining the game for killers. God forbid blight and his crutch slowdown perks be nerfed...we can't be letting momo lose his nearly 2k win streak now can we. that would be far too upsetting for all the wannabe momo blights that think they're actually good.

lastly if you think about killer mains, a lot of them play a bunch of different killers and expect to perform well on all of them. so for example they put like 500 hrs into killer role but that experience is spread across 10 different killers, which means they only have an average of 50 hrs of experience on any given killer, or maybe 100 on their favorite killer. so if they go up against survivors with 500 hrs dedicated to survivor role, the survivor actually has 5-10 times the experience in their specialty.

there you have it, the hard truth about why killer mains think a heavily killer sided game is survivor sided

Can we stop it with the “us vs them” garbage? Making broad, insulting generalization about how “killer mains” feel and how they play is intentionally toxic and divisive. The sole purpose of this post was to rile people up for a fight, and of course it worked. I really wish there was a rule against this kind of stuff where the sole purpose is for someone to troll the side that they don’t play/like.

  • How about you play as these mid-tier killers with the nerfs you are suggesting and let us know how it goes for you

  • @Percival_nxs said:

That's right, they nerfed pallets so much that Myers can easily zone constantly, especially if he has a build for it, then good luck holding him for more than 10 seconds.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4039295#Comment_4039295

Nonsense, you just want him to stay that broken he is literally 0 skill killer! Yesterday I played 20 matches as a survivor at a high mmr, and out of 20 killers, 9 of them were against him. And you know, no one escaped. Half of them were survivors who simply gave up. It's clear he's impossible to counter without chain loops or pallets, he eats pallets like crazy (especially with green brush addon), definitely a problematic killer. All these "weird" killer tiers you say, almost all of them can be somehow countered or not have such lethal power than requiers 5s-10s to fill. I'm even willing to play against Ghoul, in those 20 matches, not a single Ghoul. Ghoul doesn't have a free one-shot 0 skill dash power like Myers and has to down survivor with an m1!

I don’t play as Myers so really don’t have any skin in the game here. You’re entitled to your opinion, but just don’t expect any action from BHVR because almost nobody else in the community is complaining about Myers being OP.

  • I still can’t believe that anyone thought that this color change was an improvement over the prior version. It’s a retina-burning toxic nuclear waste green. Just absolutely horrible.

  • @Amanova said:

He's simply impossible to loop, and the only option is pre-drops with your nerfed, crappy pallets (can't be even chained) — THAT'S NOT INTERESTING AT ALL AND BORING. Nerf his m2 speed, give him a longer cooldown after breaking pallets with it, and reduce the duration of tier 3. How can you still not change such a broken killer?!
And in my matches, someone always gives up or quits against him, and you know, I understand them!

There really aren’t that many complaints across the community about Myers being too difficult to loop. I would certainly rather face him than the killers that are consensus A-tier. Just because you are having issues against him doesn’t mean that the rest of the player base is. With Ghoul and Kaneki we saw tons of community content showing how broken they were. Just not seeing any of that with Myers. In fact most of the stuff I see for Myers shows that he’s not that good.

  • As others have said, the main complaint now is that she is boring/non-interactive to face as survivor.

She is a bottom-tier killer and easy to counter, but she is so rare now that I most survivor players don’t know how to counter her, so many still give up immediately when they see her.

  • @DevLinky said:

Oh but a lot of people have been talking about this since… forever?

    They just don't care.

"It would be frustrating for the killer player!" So instead, they make it frustrating for 4/5 players. Make it make sense.

Agree - BHVR simply do not care about this issue, and it’s because of $. If they enforced ping limits to fix this problem, it would reduce the number of players and thus reduce revenue. Their calculation is that they lose fewer players who quit because of the unfair ping issues than they would if they enforced ping limits, which is almost certainly true. It sucks for players who want a quality, fair game experience, but BHVR are betting you will play anyway and they are probably right.

So if you want BHVR to actually do something about it, the only effective way is for large numbers of players to stop playing.

  • You can blame the lack of variety at high MMR on the fact that BHVR have ignored making any sort of meaningful adjustments to most of the killer roster for years. For the mid- to low-tier killers that have been reworked, the reworks haven’t resulted in any improvement in their viability at higher MMR. Until BHVR actually makes some meaningful adjustments to nerf the higher tier killers and buff the lower tier killers, you will continue to see this lack of variety at higher MMR.

  • Actually, allowing people to select their region would result in a worse experience because you would have even more people cheating with an artificially high ping than we already have with the VPN abuser problem. This is a bad idea.

What we need instead is ping limits enforced in lobbies so that players cannot abuse high ping by playing outside their home region.

  • BP incentives have been broken for at least a year now and I doubt they are ever going to be fixed

I think the matchmaking changes are the next planned update

I hope you’re right, but I’m not optimistic. We’ve had this non-functional system for years despite the fact that it’s by far the biggest root cause for player frustration in the game.

ye survivor isnt that bad. the main issue with soloq survivor are the survivors themselves. as a soloq player its way more common to encounter a toxic team mate that throws the match or somone that goes next or DC's or afk from the start. And thats before we get into the personal challenges people might have like cleanse 5 totems so they refuse to touch gens or the people that only join the match to get chased and refuse to touch gens.

as soloq survivor these are the main issues not op killers or slugging or tunneling or camping. If anyone has any idea how to force players to actually play the game and do gens i would love to hear it but you cant make people do gens and play out a match that they dont want to do.

Unsurprisingly, not a single downvoter bothered to offer any response to why you or I are wrong about survivor role not being that bad. It’s much easier to anonymously lob bombs than to actually engage in productive discussion.

  • Point #1 with the “us vs them” rage bait is something that I would especially like to see addressed in the forum rules. These are always the threads that get the most toxic and out of hand, and it’s always the same people who basically do nothing other than post “BHVR hates (x side)” or make insulting generalizations about “killer mains” or “survivor mains” . The forum would be a far healthier place for discussion and disagreement if this type of thing was specifically discouraged or banned in the forum rules.

  • The player count is fine and survivor role is fine too. I play solo queue and have no trouble escaping fairly regularly. The survivors I play against as killer seem to be doing fine too. I have to work pretty hard to have chance to win in most of my killer matches.

The player count always goes down in the months after new chapter releases, and there hasn’t been any new major content recently. So the player count means nothing. Where is your data to show that survivors are leaving the game? My evening time survivors queues have been getting longer and longer recently, so that would indicate an increasing deficit of killer players, not survivor players. I’d honestly be fine if some survivor players left because with the queue times right now if I don’t want to wait a long time to play, I have to choose the killer role every time.

So I am pretty certain they secretly removed gel dressings from our bloodwebs. I've manually spent over 7 million in blood points in the past few days and did not get a SINGLE gel dressing. Actually my number of Gel dressings has stayed the same for weeks now which made me go through searching for them specifically. What's up with this bhvr? Intentional or yet another "bug"?

I have a tinfoil hat theory that the bloodwebs automatically reduce the frequency of the items that you use the most in order to get you to spend more time in the game to grind more BP. On many of the killers I play, certain add-ons that I use frequently and should be more common almost never appear, while ultra-rares that I never use appear in almost every bloodweb level. When you continue to see statistically impossible stuff like that, it’s hard to believe something weird isn’t happening in the background.

  • Survivors’ only objective is to do gens and escape; killers’ only objective is to kill survivors. Nobody should be punished on either side for playing the way they want within the rules.

Tunneling doesn’t even work well against good survivors most of the time as you waste way too much time trying to chase and hook a single survivor three times.

"stop saying survivor should be punished for genrushing"

Nobody is arguing that in this thread

  • When all the other killer perks get nerfed into uselessness, what do you expect?

i swear for the past 2 weeks i’ve only seen the bp incentive on the survivor role and every time i queue up as survivor im guaranteed to have a 3+ minute queue. i play a lot at night which is normal for a lot of survivor players since more of their friends are available to play after work and such. so you would think that the incentive would go to the killer role right? nope. it’s either incentive on survivor or no incentive at all. i checked the dead by queue website and it says the event queue time for survivor on na east is 6 MINUTES on average right now and sure enough i’m waiting 5 1/2 minutes for a game with a 1.50x bp bonus… why are we incentivizing people to play the role that is overloaded?? it just makes 0 sense to me.

BP incentives have been broken for at least a year now. BHVR don’t seem too concerned as they obviously haven’t fixed them yet, nor have they even bothered to mention anything about them being broken or any plans to fix them.
