Telling people who disagree with you that they are “objectively wrong” isn’t a great way to obtain support.
I play both sides and I am totally ok with survivors getting more buffs and incentives to play 2v8. The killer queue times are still absurdly long, which tells me there still isn’t enough incentive for players to choose the survivor role.

Players have asked this since he's fresh from 2v8. They instead give Hillbilly his insta down chainsaw back but nothing for Nemesis I guess.
Yeah, as someone who enjoys playing as Nemi this is incredibly frustrating. But I guess we shouldn’t be surprised given the fact that the same killers have been overly strong or overly weak in normal 1v4 mode for years. Trying to improve balance across the killer roster doesn’t seem to be a priority for BHVR.

my monthly escape rate with the abandons voiding my losses
My solo queue stats over the past 30 days 😂😂😂

In the last 30 days, I’ve only abandoned matches at 4K slugs, which have been extremely rare, less than a dozen I'd say.

I believe Mandy mentioned that BHVR’s stats differ from those in the tracker, so their total escape numbers shouldn’t be “inflated” by abandons as you suggested, so no need to worry.
Unfortunately we don’t know what to believe because there has been zero transparency from BHVR about how their internal “official” stats work vs how the player trackers stats work. Why they would be using something different for their internal stats vs what shows up on the player tracker stats requires some logic that is beyond my comprehension 🤦♂️
-
The player stats pages is completely useless because it excludes matches with any abandons. That’s a vast majority of matches. Basically the only matches that will count towards the stats are those with 4 escapes or maybe a few with 3 escapes because survivors aren’t abandoning in those matches.
Just to illustrate how insanely broken and useless the stats are, these are my solo queue survivor stats over the past 30 days 😂😂😂

Still bugged and it doesn’t go through most walls and doors.
Especially in 2v8 this is straight buns.
HOW IS THIS STILL A BUG ITS BEEN MONTHS
The game is too bloated with content now, and with all that content comes a growing pile of bugs that will just never get addressed. As soon as they fix one, three more pop up.

Never. The best decision this year from the DEVS was remove legion from 2v8 best decision this year BY FAR
Fully agree. Survivor has been so much more enjoyable in 2v8 without Legion.
-
Honestly if some killer players are finding 2v8 too unfun now, that’s a good thing. Maybe we can finally get the killer queue times down below 30 minutes. I would like to actually be able to play a few 2v8 matches as killer.
-
I play on PC and have had pretty good luck with 2v8 survivor teams so far by avoiding lobbies with too many console players and also checking people’s play time if they are PC on Steam. Sometimes you gotta take matchmaking into your own hands 😉
-
It should be eliminated from PC version of the game, not added to console. End-game chat is by far the biggest source of toxicity in this game. No good will come of expanding that to other platforms.

Do we have any killer survivors don’t have problem with?
There are some survivor players who are never happy, so all BHVR can do is gather as much feedback as possible and filter out the irrational opinions on the extreme ends. That’s why Legion was removed because the overwhelming majority of survivors hated going against them in 2v8. Oni isn’t quite as bad, but he still feels overtuned and seems like many other who play the survivor side agree. I haven’t seen large-scale complaints about any of the other killers in 2v8.

I agree, removal from the mode is the best solution for every gripe Survivors have.
- Remove Wesker from 2v8. I hate his triple dashes.
- Remove Nurse from 2v8. I hate her triple blinks.
- Remove Dracula from 2v8. I hate his triple wolf dashes and his insane 52m bat range.
- Remove Blight from 2v8. I hate how he can turn so easily round corners and sprint around teh map really fast.
- Remove Wraith from 2v8. I hate his super fast uncloak speed and pallet baits.
- Remove Spirit from 2v8. I hate how there is too much noise and commotion to laoten for her phasing.
- Remove Huntress from 2v8. I hate that she has 10 hatchets.
- Remove Deathslinger from 2v8. I hate that he can hold his power for a double hit.
- Remove Hillbilly from 2v8. I hate that he can instadown Survivors back to back while his teammate walks behind him cleaning up, and sprint across the map really fast.
- Remove Pyramid Head from 2v8. I hate how while can hit 2 survivors at one with one swing of his trail.
- Remove Ghost Face from 2v8. I hate how he gives exposed that every other killer can use to down in 1 hit.
- Remove Nemesis from 2v8. I hate how zombies make it basically 4v8.
- Remove Trapper from 2v8. I hate how his traps allow killers to get hits they didn't earn.
There I think I fixed the mode for Survivors. Have fun doing gens!
Literally nobody is asking for removal of any of the other killers. Oni is still a bit overtuned, and that’s it. Stop making up strawman arguments.
-
Oni isn’t nearly as unfun to go against in 2v8 as Legion was, but he is still overtuned, IMO. He can basically steer around any corner, no matter how tight, so there’s not much you can do to try to dodge his instadown power.

The survivor side is already the better side to play in 2v8 though.
I agree, I enjoy survivor more than killer in 2v8, but apparently there still aren’t enough people who also agree to help balance out the queue times. Yesterday I still had a 25 minute wait for killer.

But the problem is the survivors are already extremely powerfull in 2v8 but people are so bad at the game that they dont see this, and BHVR keeping buffing them thinking they will have more desire to play but this is just making killer unplayable.
Yes, that’s the whole point. Some will find killer “unplayable” (I don’t) which helps reduce the number of people waiting in line to play killer. The whole point is to try to balance out the desirability of both sides as evenly as possible.
-
If you don’t like it, don’t play killer in 2v8. Killer queues are still insanely long, so I’m sure someone else will gladly take your spot in the queue.
I’m not saying this to criticize you, it’s just the reality of what is needed to actually make people want to play survivor in 2v8 mode. The devs should keep buffing survivor side until there is a better balance between the killer and survivor queues. -
I’ve had plenty of serve crashes and every time it happens I haven’t gotten a penalty.

funny thing is people are still DCing v ghoul lol. just had 2 matches in a row v ghoul and both matches every single survivor DC immediately. i wonder why….
Ghoul is still super unfun and annoying to play against. Just like Legion only a more powerful killer
-
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with the player count and the queue times after the changes go live. I’m willing to keep an open mind, but I have a feeling we might start seeing a significant increase in survivor queue times.
-
Many of the changes make you question if they even play their own game
-
I usually try to end the match as quickly as possible to let everyone get to the next match and will give hatch to the last remaining survivor that is not a bot.
-
Yes there definitely needs to be an updated tutorial, but like Mr_K that isn’t going to magically make people better at the game. Watching streamers and content creators and practicing yourself is really the most effective way to get better at the game.

Queue times are a lot better during the day. I do agree if you play in the evening(USA times) they can be pretty bad.
Yeah same here. Quick queues for survivor during the day, longer waits in the evenings (sometimes 5-10 minutes) when more people are playing with their friends. This isn’t anything new.
-
I was the stereotypical Blendette hiding in a bush :)
On killer, I started with Wraith and he’s still one of my main killers. A very simple power but I enjoy learning how to get better with him against good survivors who know how to loop and counter him.
-
Disagreeing with the changes doesn’t make someone a “killer main”. A lot of players, including content creators, play both sides and will speak up when something is busted on the killer side or the survivor side. I haven’t played the PTB so I can’t draw any conclusions yet, but I have seen others playing and the criticisms of the some of the change are fair. People should at least try playing as killer with these new changes before dismissing criticism.
