Yes, I know Its probably not fun for most Survivors and she has longer games on avarage but I still like her. After so many years we finaly have a new area set up control Killer. Yes, you can argue that Knight can do this as well but his power is more oriented towards chasing the Survivors with his AI. Her power is pure control / info.
-
No
-
I think she is not as bad as everyone says she is.
However, even when I run 0 slowdown the games are usualy longer if you play her right (drones on gens close to each other and you keep reseting them and not chasing Survivors for too long / too far).
She is bit exhausting after a while tho.
-
I run so far 0 slowdown perks, 0 add-ons and games are still quite long xD
-
Another bad perk, here we go.
-
I use anonymous mode (including on myself), so all I see is just characters name everywhere, in game and in lobby.
-
For me he is fun when you try to go for long path patrols and chases. Also it feels nice to send quickly a guard to break a pallet while you want to pick up a Survivor or break a gen or something. I like to send guards on gens to push Survivors and make them busy.
3-gen is probably the best strategy for him as well as droppong instatnly your guards but I try to avoid it since it is boring to play him like that.
-
I hope the map is hotfixed for tomorrow's patch otherwise it should be killswitched.
-
Now after watching some parts of the video where he talks about these nerfs he would give to Knight I have to say all these changes are totaly insane and would put this killer into F tier. He wouldn't have any chase power outside of very long loops or something, team could counter him way easier, Guards would have lower range to find survivors (on shorter paths) when you allready need Map of The Realm add-on to beggin with. Hell no!
-
He allready has counterplay, Its called hold W to the next tile.
-
I think their data is showing that Sadako is fine (even tho she has weak power).
Dredge however didn't need anything much besides fixing some bug fixes and maybe little buff(?). Overall fine.
Wesker fine as well for the most part.
Knight was pretty bad and was changed.

I assume you’re talking about bringing franklins?
In which case yes a SWF will usually call out that a killer has franklins but I have played solo matches where the other players got hit before me, and then I will set my item down somewhere to keep it from being taken and losing its charges. How? I kept running across random items on the ground and I figured it out.
However I don’t think the number of items in a lobby has any correlation with being in a swf.
Yea I forgot to put the perk name. It of course only works when you run the perk and they bring items.
-
Strong chase power and mobility are the best friend.
-
Cheaters in online video game? No way! That's it guys, everyone uninstall the game now, Its dead, gg ezi.
-
This looks like overkill tbh. It's like the best camping and 3 gen power in the game and Survivors have almost no way to fight back, can't even do something much with the drones lol.
-
Many Survivors find him boring and he is very good at 3 gen camp.
-
I don't main anyone. I usualy play (almost) all Killers. Of course some of them more and some less.
-
It's endless cycle really.
Killer: Brings full Gen slowdown and needs to focus someone out of the game idealy ASAP to win.
Survivors: Brings full meta second chance perks, Exhaustion / gen perks with good toolboxes and medkits and try to do gens ASAP if possible.
Survivors complain then that the Killer is tunneling and camping and Killers complain that Gens go too fast and they didn't even hooked someone or they have maybe 1K max in end game.
-
While you could do that it would be big waste of time.
Reseting normal pallet takes 4 seconds and gives info to the killer that you are there. Same goes for fake pallets, they also give away info (unless you play the brown add-on).
I don't think this perk change does much extra againts this type of Freddy.
-
I agree. Dead Hard is the most played, most strongest perk for Survivors. How many times it turned chase from ~40 seconds chase to ~80+ seconds chase. There are situtations where it is lose/lose for the killer and can't be "waited out". It's annoying to wait and suspect every single survivor that they have this perk. It counters many killers powers as well because they are predictible. It's unhealthy perk and only needs rework, because nerfing it in any meaningfull way would trow that perk into trash.
And no, I don't think "once per trial" on this perk would make it fair. All you need is one good dead hard on each Survivor and it's gg for the Killer.
-
That's toooo much for me to read and judge all of these in row. It's overhelming.
But from what I read, most of these buffs are okay and nothing crazy, except for Boon: Dark Theory. That is totaly OP.

Twins are actually getting a rework sometime this year (Though the devs are radio silent on what it is which worries me)
You forgot to mention trapper and hag who are both basic abandoned (Hag has literally got literally 2 changes over 6 years)
But it happens because of the 3 month killer cycle so they just don’t have enough time to go back and balance older killers properly
Are you sure it is this year? Did they drop any new info on it? The last time they talked about it is when Legion and Ghostface was first and it still was many months before it happend so It might be almost 1,5+ years(?).
-
If you play nice = enjoy tbag at exit gates and "ezi baby killer" in end game chat
If you don't play nice = get tbagged, you are toxic and enjoy "trash so baaaad" killer in end game chat
That's just how this game works. No metter how nice or "evil" you play, you are still bad, you will get tbagged and trashtalked anyway. Only difference is that if you don't play nice, you might get tbagged / flamed bit more offten.
-
That's a big nope from me.
-
They should revert the nerf on that Wesker perk that almost no one uses because it was only good for Starstruck Nurse that doesn't exist anymore.

Yes. Many times in so many matches. Even when you don't camp the last person in the end game and you kinda let them escape, sometimes that person Tbags you at the exit gates anyway. Makes me regret it.
I did this too to Survivors who were toxic from the very begging and I still of course got Tbagged while I was nice to them.
-
It slows your missed attack cooldown (not sure if succesfull too), also makes you stunned for longer and you kick stuff slower as well.
-
I was thinking about this idea too. "What if it blocks all vaults for some limited time?". I think that would make the perk much better and very usualy in mid chase.
However I think the first token should be the default version of how the perk works.
The final token(s) are totaly overpowered and it would make Survivors totaly defenceless againts any Killer. Don't forget you can add Exit Gate slowdown perks and NOED... No, that would be too much.
-
Her power still does nothing in chase or to injured Survivors. Only one possible way to play her which is not fun for most Survivors and for many Killers too.
I think they will buff her in future again, same like Knight. Until then, she will be underpowered.

Correct. You can't place them too close to each other, but otherwise as soon as you're far enough, you can place one. The cooldown only applies to reactivating existing drones now.
Thank you for answering! It's a nice change for her.

We've released a blogpost today with a bunch of changes we've made since the PTB:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/377
While the PTB is live, we tend not to say an awful lot since we don't want to influence feedback. Whether people love the new content or hate it, we're hear to take that feedback to the team. Over the next few days, the team is busy deciding on which changes need to be made and budgeting the time we have before the build needs to be submitted. Once everything's locked in, we'll always try our best to share those changes (like this) as soon as we can.
Thank you! If I can have just one question about Skull Merchant... I didn't understand 100% the part where the blog talks about the cooldown. Does it mean she doesn't have a cooldown to place drones anymore at all? (Only there is that area limit before you can deploy another one).
-
I love this perk.
Also I think I had a situation some time ago where I down a Survivor near shack, Jeff from the window trying to blind me. I go hook for the basement and see Jeff with the aura going for the locker above. Most funny moment lol. Ezi locker grab.

The larger FOV makes tracking survivors who are close to you much easier as they can’t run past your eyeballs anymore
It also makes you more exposed to flashlights, which I thought it was just a myth but no... the wiki says it does make it easier to land flashlight saves... Damn.
-
Also it makes you feel like easier to hit everyone. I know it makes you feel faster but it feels like it also makes you better at aiming / skill shots, etc. XD
Idk maybe it is just me.

so, you want strong killers and bad survivor perks got it do you play both sides?
No and yes.

If people want more killers like Wesker they are gonna have to stop complaining about strong survivor perks killers that are fast are super hard to go against in chase without good perks
Ehmm no. Most of the killers aren't even A tier.

I am not really sure how many more killer dbd can really support on the roaster. i think this is first chapter that I have seen them directly clone 1:1 perk in the game. Blood pact and Teamwork: power of two. I think that is clear sign that they've run out of ideas for killer and run out of ideas for survivor perks. I suspect that dbd killer creation and perk creation might be slowing down. Perhaps 4 killers and 4 survivors per year a bit much in dbd lifespan. it used make more sense back in the day to make this many killers because there was not many survivors or killers 5 years ago in dbd.
Now a days, there is just so many killers and so many perks on both sides that dbd is almost bloated with content that dbd might be in a state where it is better off improving existing content rather then inventing new content. that is not to say there should no new killers.. but I do not feel like they need more killers unless they come up very good ideas. I am curious of what their anniversary road map is going to be like. Are they really going to keep producing killers & perks at same rate? Slightly worried about dbd's future content.
I think there is still lot of space for new unique perks and Killers (I know you are not saying there is not, but I don't think they have to slowdown for it). If you look at dbd sub reddit there is almost daily some creative idea for power and perks and sometimes even something that would be totaly new concept without recycling.
-
I don't think her popularity changed at all. She was for a very long time one of the least played Killers. It's due to her only playstyle I would say. If you don't want to trow games (by chasing survivors), you have to camp / patrol a area with 3-4 gens and never leave it. It's boring for both sides unless you really like this playstyle.
-
Worst hook RNG logic and spawn in the game out of any map.
-
Me: Finaly finds match againts Sadako!
Sadako: *leaves after 5 min game*
Me: 😭
-
Well technicaly, his power just allows him to pull Survivors towards him. It can only injure you. He has to still M1 to down you.
-
Oh no please, I am allready bored of how offten I see him. What doesn't help is that like half of these matches are againts OP add-ons. Walk up to someone with 0 terror radius you didn't even saw that game, Mori him, wow such fun!

Garden of Joy. That house is a nightmare.
I don't mind this map that much since I like the look of the map I quess. But I don't like how super connected everything is. While the loops might not be that strong, the fact they are so close to everything and to the main building is not good for any Killer without strong anti loop.
-
I like the idea of boon perks. I wish CoH is nerfed when using with medkits. Shadowstep is okay, while can be annoying in indoor maps, its usualy nothing game changing.
Exponential is only good for unaware slugging Killers or totaly broken againts Twins.
Dark Theory is in the corner with it's desing. If you buff it any more than 3+ % it could be broken in some maps againts some killers. But the 2% isn't that awesome either. So Its kinda stuck in the spot where it will either be bad as of now or be too good.
-
?
-
It's powerfull perk that can punish Killer who doesn't want to tunnel someone when they are on their second hook. That's not great at all. If this becomes new meta or even being slightly popular the tunneling will be even more common.
-
It's not a problem that they are nerfing Eruption. The problem is how they are nerfing it. It will be meh perk that almost no one will use, like more than half the other killer perks. That's not how you balance perks. It's like either it is OP or it is bad.

I mean if Billy instadown you will not affect the hooks because the survivor is not picked up so the killer might leave then behind until the perk timer has expired. That's why I'm telling you all it should be a balanced perk btw
It's better but I think Its still probably too strong. Remove the hindred and blidness and maybe reduce the hook sabotage distance to like 12 meters and then maybe it could be okay.
-
No, you just have to aim and time it better.
