As much as you hate it, just go push the survivors out. It only takes 15 seconds to hit out all the survivors waiting at the door. If you have STBFL it's even quicker.
Not all survivors are there waiting to t-bag you. Some survivors have reasons for wanting you to hit them out.
-
Personally I really don't like the Jeepers Creepers series. I'd far rather a bigger and better licence than it. Would also prefer a original killer tbh.
Also just seen the other comments. For that reason too I'd also not like to see this licence.
-
Please please please
-
I think the killer entitlement book is filling up also:
- Can't use any meta perks - if you do I camp
- No flashlight saving - if you do I camp
- Body blocking - if you do I camp
- Going to god pallets - if you do I camp
- Pop more than 1 gen before I get my first down - if you do I camp
- Destroying my totems in first 2 minutes - if you do I camp
- Bringing a map offering - if you do I camp
- Jumpin into a locker with DS - if you do I camp
- Sabotaging hooks I'm bringing survivors to - if you do I camp
- Playing in a swf - if you do I camp
This is my dumb version of the killer rulebook. I think the concept of a survivor handbook is extremely outdated and think it's something we should try and move on from.
I'm sorry your getting horrible messages but these people are just stupid and don't represent all survivors.
-
Underrated is Pinhead. I think there is about 1/2 other killers that are underrated but Pinhead is my choice.
Overrated is tricky. I'm not sure where everyone places each killer to say who is and isn't overrated. If I'm going off the most recent tier lists video I watched (Otzs) I'd say Twins is overrated. Just think survivors have too many counters to her.
-
Bubba because:
- I really enjoyed using PWYF and Nemesis.
- I am that 1 killer who misses easy hits so the chainsaw suits me.
- Wanted to prove not every Bubba needs to face camp.
- Thought he was massively underrated
Don't play him as much anymore because I can't commit enough time to him to learn the terrain hitboxes. Also miss the PWYF and Nemesis Bubba ๐ฅ

Currently Fifa career mode. Before it was Elden Ring. I don't buy a lot of games unless I scouted it out a lot first.
On a Saturday if I'm not out I'll usually play with some real life mates on a variety of games. Rl and Overwatch are the most popular.
-
Basically everything you said only applies IF you get injured which is why he isn't OP. He isn't even in the top 5 killers in the game.
Everyone has an opinion which is fair ๐ at low ranks he definitely is very strong
-
Its literally tough mode perk
-
Depending on how much dead hars is nerfed, I think Nurse might need a change

If they want Killer Meta nerfed then we will Nerf Survivor Metas, it's only fair right lol.
Well survivor meta is already getting nerfed so we'll start getting killer nerfs soon
-
At low ranks these are probably too strong but at high ranks they're needed. Personally I don't think any of the current killer meta perks need a nerf.
-
I think a second objective is something they should look at but messing with gen speeds I need to disagree with.
-
That's a fair opinion and I can see why you think that. Personally I'd put Ghostface, Trapper and Clown below but that's just a difference of opinion.
She needs a slight buff imo. Nothing crazy.

Simply so killers have something for countering hatch, whereas right now they have nothing. I did propose it would be during a hatch escape attempt, not when hatch spawns. Just saying.
Ah ok I missed that part. I think that would just be a bit much. The perk is already really good and I don't think you need to add something like this onto it.
I get why you want to something to deal with hatch but I think it should be it's own perk. That way both survivor and killer have their own hatch related perk.
-
I don't see the point in this buff. Yes it would be nice for killers securing their 4k but I personally don't see why it needs to be a thing.
If anything I'd actually say this is a bad thing for killers. Supposing the hatch is blocked as soon as it spawns then the survivor just waits it out. Now they don't need to worry to worry about telling the killer where they are after touching a door.

Personally, I picture them wearing a bib and the entity feeding them a bottle so they'll stop crying.

Yeah maybe but sadly from my subjective experience of leaving as many survivor as possible survive, the former is heavily outnumbered by the latter when i still went for the gate until i stopped it permanently.
Well your very unlucky mate

Do they gain wglf stacks by dead harding out the exit?
Because getting a pity hit has long since ceased to be courtesy or the norm.
Again not everyone is doing it to be nice. My point is not everyone is doing it to be toxic either.
-
This is what killers want to believe, but not the real thing. Like everything in life we always find something to complain about.
-
More killers similar to Plague and Pig. Killers that involve interacting with something around the map. Something not as annoying as Pinheads box though.
-
When my connection was really bad in the summer I had the greatest game of lag in my life. It was the funniest thing I ever seen. Unfortunately my game crashed after I went to the tally screen so I lost my footage..
-
There are a number of reasons from wanting extra bloodpoints, searching for chests or totems or wanting extra WGLF stacks. Not all people are doing it to be toxic.
-
- Add a glyph teleport system. These sit in the 4 corners of the map and only certain killers (the weak killers) are allowed to use them. Would need tested to see how many times a killer can use these a game.
- Shorten the size of some of the massive maps.
- Lower the amount of charms that are earned in tomes. Give other rewards such as shards, bloodpoints boost and xp boost (10%, 20%, 30% etc).
- Perks have their middle tier removed. So perks now only have 2 tiers to get.
- Full add-on pass. Fix PH and Freddy add-ons while nerfing add-ons for Blight and others.
There are lots of other things that need balanced, including perks. I choose not to include things I heard the devs are going to change, what I believe they will change, I.e Dead Hard and CoH.
I added some changes that I personally want. I really want to see changes to tome rewards and the grind. I know I said I tried to avoid changes the devs were going to make but they've said they would look at the grind a few years now so I wasn't sure when it would happen.
-
No. No matter what the devs do the game will never be properly balanced.
-
How many hours do you have in the game? From what I experienced yesterday, it seems like high MMR players are getting matched with players who only have a few hundred hours play time.
-
Would really like more options for my Cheryl
-
This should've been in the hot take discussions lol
I respect your opinion and even have to add to one of your points. There are a lot of exhaustion related perks and add-ons that stop you getting value from dead hard.
However I think the times that it works, whether that be once per survivor a game, is still really damn good. Also I think Sprint Burst is extremely good, especially against the instadown and stealth killers you mentioned.
-
Survivor: Desperate Measures
It's such a nice perk to run. The unhooking speed alone makes it extremely good vs any campers.
Killer: Save The Best For Last
Yes this perk is used quite often but I think every low tier M1 killer should be using this. I don't care if it's Clown, Trapper, Freddy etc. If you also need to camp at end game it makes unhooking nearly impossible if you've got more than 4 stacks.
-
Legion is probably my favourite. As a point ######### they just make me happy.
-
OMG I love your cats. They are soo cute.
Here's my old cat.
EDIT: if anyone knows a repair app for android that would be extremely appreciated. Some of my old photos have gotten lost or corrupted. They were fine when I looked at them earlier but now they seem to be different colours or ruined in some way..

Hex: Don't Blue Bone Me
-
Hag
-
You need a build with it and play with a friend. Use Flip Flop, Power Struggle, Unbreakable and Any Means Necessary. You and your friend use flashlights so the killer is paranoid.
If your using it in solo q it's stupidly weak.
-
Killers don't need to play a certain way if someone dcs. I personally continue playing my normal way, try and hook everyone multiple times to get bloodpoints. Sometimes I'll give hatch but not always.

I'm actually a rank 1 survivor and have around 3k hours on survivor so I'm pretty sure I have maxed mmr, but it's so busted I still don't go against my skill set sometimes. I didn't really take in countt the addons I was just talking about power only, but this post had evolved to everything so yeah I do agree with you that blights addons need a nerf, but really no one else's addons do. Myers base kit is so bad that he needs those addons to help him, and you don't go against iri head that often anymore so for the most part blight is really the only killer that needs to be looked at that can be considered a nerf
I agree that no other killer add-ons need a nerf (though if Hags were I wouldn't complain).
I was just surprised by the amount of times you faced Blight and Nurse. When I play, especially in a swf, we get those 2 the most often. Nurse either has double recharge or 1 recharge with range add-ons. Blight is pretty much always the green crow add-on and any of his other busted ones lol
-
I think the devs should just keep an eye on the fan creation section and use it for inspiration but that's all.
Otherwise you'll get into a awkward situation where the person who created the chapter will feel like they own it and want either money or dedicate how the chapter is done.
-
You mustn't be at the highest MMR if your facing Blight 1 in every 20 games. That isn't a knock on you it's just that most people that play at high MMR will tell you Blight is extremely common. Nurse is also very common, with a good Nurse being 1 in every 5.
To me I believe Blights add-ons need a nerf 100%. I also think when Dead Hard gets nerfed the devs may need to take a look at Blight and Nurse. I think no other killer needs a nerf (except Hag ๐๐) and the most of them need a buff.
-
I assume they still haven't addressed this publicly?
-
I got to disagree. To me having something like this implemented is just giving people who want to derank an easy way to do it.
I also believe people will give up far too easily instead of actually continuing on the game and having a chance of winning. Here's some examples:
- "Oh I got cowshed. Ok I'm opening the doors."
- "Oh my Ruin was cleansed in the first 30 seconds. Ok I'm opening the doors."
- "2 gens were done before I got my first down. Ok I'm opening the exit doors."
Most of the top dbd players didn't get good at this game by giving up and sitting in a corner when things started to go bad. They got kept going and got smarter.
In regards to hackers this is just a bandage fix. Facing hackers is horrible to both sides but they need to address it properly.
-
I thought the same until recently when bots were used by hackers to destroy survivors in lobbies. Nothing worse than facing a bot with speed hacks, wall hacks and all the perks in the game.
-
I wouldn't get your hopes up. They always ask good questions but don't always do anything with that info.
Let's hope they do use this information to make good changes ๐
-
I don't think it flopped. To me it made 2 big mistakes:
- Announcing the chapter 3 months early
- Releasing the chapter around the time Elden Ring was released
However with that said, she was still played more than Pinhead and Artist combined on release. To me I wouldn't say she flopped, but she didn't have the impact the devs wanted.
-
I understand the Blight complaints bearing in mind how stupid his add-ons are.
-
Could be wrong but lol is this a response to a similar discussion that was created a few days ago about killers?

Oof. Okay...
- SB is absolutely not stronger than DH, a few extreme exceptions excepted (Myers would be one). DH, when used properly amounts to an extra health state, while SB actually has some counterplay and decision making. DH is 'win button go brrrr'. The simple fact that I have to play anticipating DH at all times says a lot about the perk.
- I'm not sure which 4 killer perks you are seeing every game, aside from BBQ which is mostly there as a BP booster that also happens to be an okay info perk (seriously the second they make the BP gain baseline/fix the grind, you'll see much less BBQ). I don't think the killer meta has been as varied as it is now, with multiple different viable builds seeing play at high MMR. Survivor...yeah.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2884000#Comment_2884000
No, it definitely changed the meta. Combine CoH with medkits and you can heal as a duo essentially mid chase. Medkits run out - but a well sited CoH can cover most of the map and lasts all game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2884022#Comment_2884022
BT and Decisive I'm totally fine with (aside from aggressive DS use with lockers). These all serve an essential part in the meta.
CoH is an abomination, and should never have been left alone for as long as it did.
DH has always been a pain, and the fact that the fix amounted to a buff to likely the most prolific survivor perk at high MMRs is ridiculous.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2883970#Comment_2883970
CoH should be fine post nerf. It's still whackadooly strong, but it won't be as oppressive as it is now.
DH...no idea what they can do to it. It's just such a problem perk. The issue is that it's nerf is going to be the biggest survivor meta change we've seen in years. And that isn't going to sit easy with a lot of people who rely on it now.
I think CoH will get another nerf after this one. The strength of the Hemorrhage change is what will determine if this nerf is the last one or not.
To me I think Dead Hard should be a 1 time per game use. I think it should give permanent exhaustion after use. I think it'll still be pretty good.
-
In solo q he can be a nightmare. Coordinating getting the box is a massive thing.

So why bother changing anything ever?
Change things that are broken. Imo CoH and Dead Hard are currently broken. Just don't nerf them into the ground like everyone wants the devs to.
