That's a very accurate description of what's happening. The range addons increase the distance travelled by the nurse - the total blink time is always the same, so the nurse has a faster blink speed as a result.
With range add-ons the speed is not scaling correctly with the distance.
The total blink time works correctly only at full charge (with add-ons).
If you blink at less than full charge, you will still travel at higher speed as if you went for a longer blink. I.e. with range add-ons, you also cover shorter distances faster.
That's the bug that is being brought up to attention.
A few months ago, you only patched the part of the bug that wasn't accounting for extra charge time. But the speed stayed bugged.

That perk combo you have to bring on purpose to do exactly that. Because it's hardly good for anything else.
As for the outplay with shack pallet down with an m1 killer, possible but unlikey. Don't get this wrong, but they where just messing with you. People do go down on purpose with those builds to get your attention. The fact that you thought not breaking shack with GF is also, well, more telling.
Lastly, ever since the first iterations of DS were changed, the term second chance has just become buzzwords to shame survivors into not using whatever you don't like'em to use. The fact that you went so far to include For the People and Soul Guard into that category is a case in point.
But that's ok, every player in every game does this with their opposition. Survivors do shame killers as well for their loadouts.
-
Are you sure you weren't in Nightfall while carrying the survivor? Because that would've given you Undetectable and thus no proc of Starstruck.
-
As far as I can tell, it's actually basic attacks, even if the wording doesn't require it.
I tried to force progress by slow vaulting to make sure the hit registered during the animation.
Feral Frenzy and Punishment of the Damned didn't count. The 4 times I got hit with a standard m1, I progressed.

i feel like devs should at least figure out how to prevent 99%
So, after DH, the target is ready to switch to SB.
Lithe and Balanced landing better run (no pun intended) to safety, because their time will come as well.
Color me shocked.
-
Apparently its not in the survivors rule book that you shall ever show any sympathy or empathy towards the killer.
They could say the same about you for running the most bp-killing snooze-inducing build in the game during an event. DUCY?
Pot and kettle at their finest. Pick which one you are.

Deja Vu: you now can see the 3 closest gens permanently.

Survivors don't unlock event cosmetics if they don't reach EGC. They have to finish gens or be the last one and the killer closes the hatch. Hence, they do gens.

I don't even want to buy it. That's how much I resent it.
We can't fix you problems.
Buy it and don't use it, or suffer.
The Entity approves either way.
-
The other times we has community challenges nothing had to be selected and the all tracked progress simultaneously.
I wouldn't be surprised if many people just assumed they still work that way and didn't even select them.
And by the way, they should've been made to work like in the past. As they are now we were set to fail.
-
Never play survivor during events. Bad idea. Always has been.
-
I just can't even login. Said couldn't load save file or something. I swear imma uninstall if all my stuff is gone.
Last year got hundreds of event bp burned at the beginning of the event because of the save error bug that everybody was getting.
It's nice to see year 6 is staying with the tradition.
-
It should exist only for DC's.
Other than that, it should've been removed when they stated grades should reflect only time played.
-
Killswitch?
-
With the new chapter they made a fix for a few cases where killers would get teleported to the wrong side of the pallet. The 'fix' turned those few instances into many.
-
Because bhvr cares about fun and interaction.
You should privileged and honored that such an attractive alpha male decides to allow you to admire his sheer beauty and masculinity from a first-row seat.
-
Going by track record, most perk changes were underwhelming and a minority were good. On a 40 some sample, I expect them to keep the same pace.
Which, overall, will likely balance out to something not better or worse than we have now. Just different meta.

I’m optimistic about them nerfing/reworking DH & NOED, cause now we won’t have to hear “nerf dead hard” everyday.
on the other hand I’m curious as to what they have in store for the other perks.
I'm skeptical they'll touch NOED, at least not meaningfully. They've been adamant they see it as non-problematic and, historically, they don't mess woth stuff they use themselves when playing.
-
It would be unnecessary. It's already getting changes in the upcoming perk pass.
-
This has already been clarified in the past.
If it happens during egc, it's fair game.
If it's before egc and it goes on for a reasonable amount of time (team makes a judgement call given circumstances) then it is 100% bannable for taking game hostage/griefing. It doesn't matter if there are other survivors alive who can complete the objective. It's not a requirement that you prevent all remaining players from taking part in gameplay. One is sufficient for an infraction.

Maybe it will get a major rework with that 40 perk update?
I'm skeptical. It was already updated not long ago and the devs already stated that the perk is meant to be used as a challenge/hardcore mode.
The 40-perk rework seems to be directed more at meta perks or at those that find no use.

Don't do it! Save yourself!

I know and its freaking awesome! DBD needs more scary killers like this and the nightfall mechanic is definitely in line with the horror theme.
There's nothing scary about a black screen. It's just lazy design.
-
Blindness status effect exists. Nightfall does something entiry different. It doesn't need to get bloated.
-
From the Deep
Bubba or Billy. Pretty much that's all there is imho.
Hiding Seeker
Counterintuitively, IW+Lucky Break are probably better for this one. If you stay at the same tile and hop in a locker with just Q&Q, many killers in high brackets might figure it out fairly quickly depending on scratch marks and layouts. Instead, bolt it undetected to the next tile and take your locker. It needs 5 seconds of no LoS to break chase, there's plenty of time with the sprint boost.
Another option, but which involves throwing, is to take Empathy, stay close to the chased survivor, take chase once they get picked up and immediately go into a locker.

Crows are servants of the Entity, not of Killers.
Because reasons.

Upping the range is definitely what I would suggest changing- that and changing the scratch marks to be an aura you can see through walls. Even without those, though, it has some use for the killer aura reveal. Overzealous is the one that's legit pretty useless, imo.
The aura reading is gimmicky as it triggers only upon a teammate being hit. That already answers the questions of where the killer is and what they're doing for more than half the duration of the aura reveal i.e. the killer is shown in cooldown animation.
Bond does the job orders of magnitude better.
-
I'll get it with shards.
Not excited. The killer concept is nice visually. The power is the usual mash up from previous killers.
The deal breaker for me is the bugs, especially the rubberbanding, that came out of nowhere and they haven't made a priority to fix.
-
I never saw it happen, but there was a bug where 6 totems spawned in the trial. That might have been the case here.
-
Remember Me, even more so if you're using iri stone. Trapper isn't great at slugging and get much value off of it without a little help. Which in this case happens because they're forced to stay at the gate to open.
With NWO, surely you can get one down but it's unlikely you can snowball from that. They can stealth to wait out the timer. Especially with an endgame build where you're often gonna have 3 or more survivors alive.
-
All the Blight mains are saying that bump logic is superior anyway. So, the answer is he will still be.
-
Not a bug. It's a feature...
-
It was still present in the ptb where they tried a tentative fix. That's all for now. They might still release another fix at chapter launch, but nothing has been announced afaik.
-
Without more clues about what you're looking for, it's going to be an extremely subjective advice.
Out of your list, I'd personally go with Demo. Not really add-on dependant, has a lot of variety in gameplay and can hold its own even in comp.
-
First of all, it's not bannable and you are fine.
Secondly, there are two exit gates. This is different from situations where, for example, the basement can actually be made inaccessable, or certain hooks in some areas.
-
Very binary in chase. You either get a loop where you stomp him or one where you get stomped. Even then, you will inevitably go down as a death by thousand cut instead of a distinctly well executed play.
Then, he's one of the best campers in the game hands-down.
-
Generally, I hit a gen and when I feel my intentions are clear, I get all my bbq stacks and then go face in front of a door switch.
However, there's a risk someone else gives up doing this. In that case, I just end it and move on. The trial is already past the point of losing any meaningfulness anyway.

I've said this many times. BHVR employees on these forms have acknowledge that it's not so much a reflection of skill but time spent playing for that month. If so, stop punishing us that don't have a lot of free time. Remove the ability to de-pip already.
This^. It's for consistency, given that BHVR loves that.
-
It's not IW. It's a sound bug that could happen regardless if you have the perk or not.
-
Call a spade a spade. This is a buff to undo the nerf they gave him, not a QoL. Which makes it a moot question, because they're never gonna do that.
-
This is basically reverse old MoM, as far as I'm concerned. Which makes it a no from me.
-
Don't sandbag. Don't team with the opposing side to grief other players. Advance your objective however inefficiently. That's pretty much all it's required of anyone to stay out of trouble.
-
It's not bm in itself. Someone, you just type out of habit. Although, I usually don't say anythingin those situations. For the simple fact that a lopsided game is not a good game in my book, regardless of which end of the stick I I got.
-
You're on a roll with us-vs-them threads. Maybe try not taking this party game so seriously.
-
Technically, to be fair it should be 50%... So, you're onto something...

Two dead, one slug. I didn't see a notification but I was shocked.
To be clear : I was in "The Game". I've downed the survivor on the other side of the closest basement pallet and grabbed him immediately. As I turned, I got hit by the pallet.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2975274#Comment_2975274
No boon, as for Unbreakable it was literally an instant down/grab.
Then, barring a case of humongous desync, which would still seem iffy with that chain of events, then it does look an awful lot as a hack.
-
They would need power struggle for that and it takes some time to recovery to be ready.
Did you get the notification?
Are you sure that no one else was around?

I don't know what causes it but I have seen a killer dc and the dead survivor count as escaped.
There are a couple of possibilities.
The survivor is still alive until the animation is completed. If the killer dc's in that window, the sacrifice isn't concluded and the game counts it as a default escape. This is normal.
The other is that the game just simply goes bananas when dc's happen, either killer or survivor, and it just messes up the actual results. I've seen that as well. It used to be more common back in the days, when, for example, you randomly got counted as killed when sacrificed and vice versa. And that often without even dc'ing.
-
This would be an issue in cases where the survivor can't be hooked, because it would lead to hostage situations.
