  • I like the theme but it's very bad gameplay-wise.

  • Uh, yes. The good old bar vault with the pallet on one side and doorway on the other and the other window lined up. You gotta love Ormond.

I still can't forget that one time when I had this layout, the other bar had the god vault as well. Icing on the cake, though, the two god pallets upstairs spawned back-to-back.

  • There's a plethora of issues that are specific to certain killer powers and to certain unlockables as well, especially TR perks and add-ons, which get totally or almost totally countered by OoO.

SWF aside, where OoO is straight-up gamebreaking, it can be really problematic in solo as well. If the survivor is competent, they always get a massive lead if you choose to go after them making themselves totally unworthy of chasing and basically being free of working on gens. If you do chase, it's a huge time investment with measly return. On certain tiles, you will actually be throwing the game if you commit and they get a head start.

  • I handle it by pressing that little button in the bottom right-hand side of the screen that says "Ready".

It's a game and sometimes it doesn't go your way. No need to lose any sleep over it.

Yes, exactly. But what I said is that nobody understands why this is even the case. The Perk would not be too strong if you would have the benefit while being injured as well.

Urban Evasion used to be the same. They probably just went through the same thought process of giving the perk a downside. Also, Fixated was released in bundle with Inner Strength. So, they were probably foreseeing a synergy between the two.

Ngl, I wouldn't mind if it got a buff, but I also think that if they want to give it a downside then it would make more sense that you got the speed buff when you are INJURED. So, it helps juking and not stealthing in general.

  • She needs her traps to be more consistent and less rng. Inactive bear traps still did their job of stalling and don't need a buff in that they'd be reusable. Making it so that she can recover them would simply shift the meta to doing gens before removing traps and the killer would focus more on tunneling active traps. Which is not a healthy change for the gameplay.

SWF would simply 99 gens, then instantly pop it as the inactive trap is removed. Basically, this would screw solos even more.

  • Blocked users can't send you a friend request and vice versa, afaik. That's it.

  • That's a known hack. Record and report them next time.

  • No. It simply counts as being a douchebag, which is not bannable. The game comes to an end when you bleed out or as soon as he hooks you.

If, let's say, he picked you up and made you wiggle off only to down you again and rinse and repeat, that would count as taking the game hostage, because he'd be abusing the fact that the bleed out timer pauses with the goal to prevent the game from ending.

  • Kindred with aura limited to those who are not in a party with you. Totem counter (like gens) and mini claws to show who's in a chase.

Add more emotes and something for the hooked person to signal they're being camped (i.e. don't rescue me, stay on gens).

I think this will do it and I find them fair changes.

If you feel like he is bad, well thats you, I for one feel like I can play him at nurse or spirit level, so there will be some who can’t do good with him, you and others. And some who can, me and the OP and a handful of streamers

Also ur reasoning was just telling people to play a game against red rank survivors..

Your strawman is a non-argument either. We'll agree to disagree.

Well yours is not either? All it was, is just saying play a game against high ranks and you’ll see why he isnt A tier, I’ve done that.. so kinda is a counter argument because I don’t see why he isnt A+ tier

Also who said single match? I consistently get 4ks with blight against all kinds of players, including high rank pc squads

I made my reasoning earlier in this topic. Your anecdotal evidence is what it is i.e. anecdotal.

I’m a console blight, gone against 4 man swf pc squads and 4k how I know they are PC? well they had .. ahem.. unique names Playstation and xbox could never have, he is strong when played right

That's a non-argument. We can single out a match and try to use it as 'proof' and it would mean nothing. A single match is not a meaningful sample size.

  • When you'll go against good survivors they'll change your mind pretty quickly, don't worry.

  • It's a fun build. This is typically run with Inner Strength instead of Iron Will.

Getting out of green ranks is a matter of understanding how the emblem system works and partially some skills.

If you want a rank-up build I suggest either Sprint Burst or Dead Hard, then Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike. The last perk could be a healing perk (including Adrenaline), or informational such as Bond or Kindred. Repair a gen, get a safe unhook, run the killer for a little bit and try to last at least a few minutes in the trial.

That tournament was a train wreck. Basically the entire event the referee's told players that they wouldn't reset their games if the "DS Bug" happened. But when finals occurred one team was losing and when they got the DS bug the refs reset for them but didn't do the same for the other team.

Oracle, they're the team that got their reset had a big content creator on it and they called for tons of resets and bugs that made the finals last 4 hours longer than planned.

I'm like 90% sure they wanted to rig it in Oracles favor because they wouldn't reset for the other team when they issues too.

Besides that drama, there were dumb rules like Killers couldn't score if there were bleedouts and Hook Phases didn't count as points so Survivor players would limit the amount of points the opposing team could get by not saving each other.

Each team had to play both roles but if you were Survivor on Round 2 you could just cap the other teams points and win because the scoring system was so easy to exploit.

    Thanks Hexy.

Oracle got a reset for a Camaraderie bug. Now, I'd never heard of that bug before and I have no idea how they would verify that it happened, but that's the official version. However, it seems like they really didn't have a clearly defined standard for when they'd reset and when they wouldn't. The reset against Otz was questionable as well.

  • I've only seen the hatch offering used and every time it was with a key. I really don't think these offerings add anything to the game except bloodweb pollution.

  • The game does 'need' a health chapter.

But does BHVR? If they make bank every time they release new content despite all the other unresolved issues, then arguably they don't 'need' a health chapter.

    You catch my drift.

Oh I had a match against a Doctor on Yamaoka with a completely invisible red stain... he had no perks or add ons to influence his red stain, either. I was tier 1 madness at most (and like I said, no perks or add ons to influence it) and I went down pretty early into our chase on a T&L tile due to having so much difficulty fully understanding where he was while chasing me lmaooo

Iirc he's been bugged for a while. You can probably find reports in the bug section, but if I'm not mistaken the bug happens with certain add-ons.

  • Because this is an asymmetrical game, contrary to the other ones in your example. They don't care about the other side having fun, because the 'other side' is essentially in the same shoes. Their players can be good or bad at the game, but the potential for having fun is the same for all players, they're all on equal ground, regardless of which team they are in a match.

In DbD, you can have fun at the expense of the other side due to imbalances. Think of things like depip squads, Haddonfield, moris, Bubba facecamping, etc. It's all stuff that has the potential to turn the game into a pseudo-pve, where the disadvantaged side becomes a bot surrogate.

Yeah. Either hoping for a Potato-Killer or praying to all the Gods you know that Dead Hard is actually working.

Exactly. Also how close exactly do you need to be for it to count as a near miss? Only time I see a "near miss" pop up is with Deathslinger miss with his gun. The obnoxious thing is where it's located on the web, as a survivor you can't skip over it to do it later.

I suggest waiting for someone getting carried to a hook and using sprint burst or breakout to bait swings. I wouldn't try it with dead hard, because if you actually get hit then you're essentially throwing the game. For the same reason, I suggest bringing some means to self heal, so you can go for this only when full health.

I remember there was a similar challenge in another tome that I completed without exactly realizing how. I have a suspicion that hits landed on you teammates while you're nearby count as well, but don't quote me on that.

  • Thanks a lot! Keep up the good job!
