Baseline kindred for all solo survivors. That alone will go a long way.
It's obvious from the Kindred and Small Game reworks that the devs are not planning on giving solo players free information. A different approach is to rework perks and killers that have a stronger effect on solos than swf. Tinkerer for example shouldn't remove the terror radius if not in a chase. That way, a solo player repairing a gen doesn't get punished for the lack of information a swf would have known (guys he left me, his tinkerer popped be careful not to get grabbed). It should remove it if the killer is in a chase, since it doesn't matter if the survivor is solo or swf in this situation.
-
- Pressing ESC Key must show solo survivors what other players have for perks and items. Does that teammate have deliverance? Should I let that teammate slugged because he has unbreakable? Questions that solos shouldn't need to think about.
- Remove tinkerer, the perk is only destroying solos more than swf at this point.
- Rework the killers that punish solos the most.
- Completely rework Hag, a completely broken killer who destroys solos and has no counter. Her mains here will tell you that you just need to have someone follow her to disable her traps, and that's just the dumbest argument I have ever seen here, even more than the ''prayer beads are fair'' before the nerf. If your ''counter'' for your killer requires swf teammates to communicate then that killer needs a rework.
-
So I don't stalk the same bad survivor the whole match and get free tier 3 every time
Imagine tombstone Myers finding an afk player.
-
The perk is broken on Nurse and Spirit.
It didn't help the killers that needed early downs as much as it did for S-tier killers who were already destroying everyone but the very best of SWF squads.
Facing a 3k hours Nurse with IF is made even worse thanks to it.

This does not mean hacking. I have been playing this game for five years as a Killer main and sometimes Survivors get found due to factors they themselves can't see and aren't aware of, such as crows flying away, past behavior by the Survivors, likely places they'll go based on gen locations/proximity to the basement or a hook, seeing a teammate somewhere else and knowing that if they are there and you weren't seen running then the places you could be narrow. And sometimes it's just sheer intuition or the Killer hearing the most minute movement or breathing sound.
Basically, there's a million ways a skilled Killer divines your location without any extra help needed. Not every Killer that can track without perks and hacks is cheating. Some of us are just good.
I play killer too, the Spirit phased EXACTLY to my location, which was a dead zone with no gens, and I mean no gens even near it.
I thought she was hacking so I stood still and she phased right into my spot. you never phase into the side of a hill in the corner of the map when there are gens to be protected, even if BBQ didn't reveal any survivors.
-
It's #########, it's extremely cheap to hard tunnel someone early, but nothing will change about that.
DS can't do ######### against a sweaty red rank Nurse or Spirit (I hope one day DS will be buffed to disable killer's second ability if hit with a DS for 20 seconds or something so a Nurse doesn't just blink right at me after tunneling me)
Then forum will tell you camping and tunneling doesn't happen that often or is rare in red rank but it's the exact opposite, if you are red rank in an East Asian server then all you will see is camp and tunnel.
-
Had a lot of killers do this, and they pretend that they were just ''searching the area''
I even ran Distortion and a token was used, but a Spirit phased right into my location where they were no gens, in a dead zone, and in the corner of the map after hooking someone claiming BBQ
-
Saw a Blendette in my lobby, ran small game.
It was nice unhooking her, seeing her run to the corner of the map to self care against a Leigon, then watch as the counter went to five as I was doing gens.
I should have let her rot in the hook tbh
-
Extremely powerful perk.
Broken on Spirit and Nurse.
-
Tinkerer is broken when used against solos and should be nerfed.
Flashlights should only be used for saving.
Nurse needs a complete rework. The excuse that she has a high skill cap does not justify her level of power once fully mastered
-
It shouldn't make vaulting faster for killers.
-
Tinkerer only punishes solos
I can't respect killers who use it, especially the ones who play both sides since they should know how unfun and unbalanced it is for solos.
The perks is almost useless against swfs.
Sluzzy is right that it is a free win, but only against solo players.

Otz is just a guy.
I've had the complete opposite experience. Facecamping is an instant loss for any Killer. 3 gens pop for 1 Kill.
This is a classic new player issue. There's no harm nor shame in admitting that.
Most experienced Survivors do not have issues with Facecamping Killers
Your argument is that your experience somehow means more than multiple Bubba mains on this forum... ok.
If the Bubba gets an early-down, there isn't enough time to finish all gens, cleanse all totems to prevent the noed and/or bitter murmur combo, and alert all survivors that I'm being camped.
There isn't enough time.
Unless this is a tryhard 4 man swf the game is over. The only time I have survived this was with a 3 swf game where I was flashlight saved and lucky noed spawn.
I thought you would know this since you're an experienced survivor and we are all classic new players.

It's an instant de-pip if you counter it.
No shame in admitting you can't.
Unless the team is a 4 man swf, the game is a loss, especially with an early-down (even SWF will lose)
Otz proved it, multiple Bubba mains here proved it (all red ranks with +50 4k win streaks)
The thread was made because this ''strat'' is uncounterable.
Learn how to argue with other members instead of being rude.

The solution is to not unhook someone against a Insidious Bubba.
Please. It's not that hard.
Just. Gen. Rush.
Please stop spewing this nonsense, a camping Bubba getting an early down means an EZ 4k for him with noed and bitter murmur.
Again, this myth of camping means a loss for the killer because the team didn't rush gens is nothing but lies disproven by Otz and multiple forum members here who main Bubba as a camping killer

Camping and tunneling are side effects of the current gen speeds.
When killers don't feel cornered because they lost 2 or 3 gens in a single chase, then they won't camp and tunnel.
I just don't understand when they hard tunnel someone at 5 or 4 gens remaining, why ruin the game for others like that?

It didn't happen with mories though because they got a stealth change.
Although I'm 100% sure this isn't happening with keys, so next midchapter is going to be a 4 keys every match.
That's because every other game had a morri... content creators on Youtube were struggling to record footage due to bombarding of morris

%100 For a totem counter if you are playing solo.
-
IF Nurse complaining about things being unfair and unfun.
Girl bye.
-
Clock Tower %100 should have a chapter, it's the franchise that started or more correctly popularized the stalker genre.
-
I hate the ones that try and hide they have hacks.
Oh you just randomly came running to the place I was hiding in then act like you are searching for me?
Or the spirit that knew where I was after hooking someone (acting like she knew because of BBQ) and phased directly to my place that had no gens. I had distortion.
-
If the killer is waiting for dead hard clicking might make the killer swing

It’s something that’s bothered me for a while now, when playing survivor you get so much less blood points in comparison to killer due to perks like BBQ and Chilli. Due to this I find myself playing killer just to level up survivor.
So, I thought it would be a cool idea that the survivors could have an escape streak multiplier where after escaping through the door (not hatch) they would receive a multiplier for their next game which would increase the more times you escape in a row. I think it would allow survivors to receive more BPs and could be fun to see and keep track of how many escapes you can get in succession.
A great idea that unfortunately would lead to abuse.
Survivors would abandon teammates even more
Killers will camp and tunnel more
-
The game as Myers.
Can't see anything and players can lose line of sight really fast.
-
-Undying reading ability was pure bullcrap. Also being heavily rng based ment it could be cleansed in 1 minute or it would be the last totem. It simply wasn't fair.
-The buff to open handed is great for solo palyers
-Seocnd wind buff is AMAZING! It is slowly taking over ds for me as a late anti-tunneling perk (doesn't work for early hard tunneling) and the faster healing will only make it better.
-Fixated and diversion are meh perks and their buffs will not change that for me.
DS and keys are gonna be nerfed soon, but I hope DS becomes a stronger anti-tunnleing perks against disgusting killers that go for the 3vs1 "strat"
Keys I'm not sure how would they nerf it without making them useless, hopefully they find a way of making them viable but not op.
-
The minute they are cleansed killers will start to camp and tunnel like crazy.
-
My old thread got bumped, let me clarify some things,
-He is still uncounterable
-An early down means a win with noed
-There isn't enough time to do both gens and totems if they are camping
-There isn't enough time to do both gens and totems if they are camping
-There isn't enough time to do both gens and totems if they are camping
-facecampers in this this thread agreeing to haveing 4ks match after match with this
My solution? Noed doesn't activate if the killer is facecamping with 2 and more gens remaining or the "proximity to hooked survivor" is earned by the killer during the match.
Remember the issue isn't noed or Bubba, it's when they are together with bitter murmur.
-
It's mostly insecure killers that were mad you looped them.
-
Play the original Silent Hill, the map is really faithful to the design of the orginal
-
Middle Eastern here, 180 ping.
The player base isn't large in the ME and queue times would be horrible if they dedicated a server just for us. I'll take quick matchmaking over low ping in this scenario.
-
Silly hacks like flying and instant heal don't bother me as much as the more subtle ones.
Spirit and Trapper that knew where we were the whole time. I had distortion on and a stack was consumed, meaning my aura and scratch mark were not visible. She phased right into my spot where there were no gens.
Trapper didn't even try to hide it as much.

This.

There really are two kinds of tunneling. Toxic tunneling, straight off the hook, through BT, through DS don't give a ######### about genny protection tunneling.
And sorry I found you again but need a kill to get some momentum tunneling.
Tunneling is fine as a tactic. But if tunneling someone straight out of the game is your whole strategy, then you're probably a bit boosted.
My issue is with the first one, it simply works.
Solo teammates simply give up when they see killers hard tunneling someone.

I don't want them to buff him because I still don't know how to loop him. I need to learn before his buff.

It's a video game. "Victim blaming" isn't a thing because something happened in a video game you didn't like. Don't use real world, serious terms for actual victims on yourself over a video game. Not a good look.
But I wasn't wrong with what I've said.

You're not being victim blamed because you're not a victim. The victim hood mentality these days is ridiculous. Have some self agency and take responsibility for your situation and actions.
''If you seriously get tunneled or face camped that often you are either inciting it, playing badly or just exaggerating. I don't run the plethora of second chance perks and hardly ever get tunneled or face camped. Too many survivors think things are camping or tunneling that simply aren't.''
You're saying it's the survivor's fault if they get camped or tunneled.
Also, your experience =/= others.

@Blueberry said:
You're conflating strong with no counter play.
It doesn't get the term small pp build because it's strong, it's because it lacks counter play. All the other examples you mention are just strong things, not things lacking counter play.

Ah yes, I got hard tunneled and camped because it was my fault.
Lovely victim-blaming you've got there.

If the Killer gets an early down, the Survivors (including the one downed) had all the time up until that down to work, they have the time while that person goes through the two stages to work, and they have the time it takes for the Killer to find someone else to work. On average, they will have brought up 2-3 Generators in that time. As long as they have done this, they are in no worse position than they were at the start of the match, i.e. the dead Survivor has done his/her part to get them out, no different than if they had looped the Killer for 2+ minutes.
In short, you don't know what you are talking about; stop pretending that you do. Now, if the rest of the Survivors haven't been doing anything (wasting that precious time) then yes, things are going to be rough for them. That is on them, not the Killer, and not Camping or NOED. Seriously, how long have you been playing this game? Time is the most precious resource, and a camped Survivor (early, middle of the game, or late) provides time to the others that they are not under pressure. So let me repeat, as long as the Survivors are doing their job, 2-3 Generators will be coming online during that time. That means only 2-3 will be left for the remaining Survivors to do when the Killer resumes the hunt. It also means those Survivors could pick and choose which Generators they did and can make sure they didn't 3-Gen themselves.
To put this in even clearer terms, it takes (80) seconds for a single Survivor to bring up a Generator (one minute and twenty seconds) if alone, not using a Toolbox, and without any Perk bumps. So in the (120) seconds of the camped death there really is ZERO excuse for three Generators not coming online. Remember also, that we aren't even accounting for the time they had prior to the early down, or the time the Killer is going to use to try and find the next one. Are you picking up what I'm putting down? Are you following this brutal math? When the game starts, most Survivors start within 3-8 seconds of a Generator location. Most Killers take between 10-20 seconds to get within Terror Radius of a Survivor. So even with a BEST case scenario for the Killer, Survivors potentially are already on their way.
What is more, the first Generator (or first two) is usually worked but two Survivors, which is pretty efficient. More than that and you lose efficiency and return on simply getting to another Generator with the 3rd or 4th Survivor. This means that even with an early down, there is an excellent chance that the 1st Generator will be coming online before, about the same time, or just shortly after you get that first hook. Truly efficient Survivors have been known to regularly get 3-4 Generators up before that camped sacrifice. Survivors using gear and Perks which accelerate the process are a wonder, and as a Killer you kind of get annoyed watching Generators slam on like lights one right after another all over the map. Again, are you following the simple math and time?
A camping Killer is a gift to Survivors who know what they are doing and don't potato around the map when someone is hooked. Survivors that understand the game don't waste precious time. A Camping Killer with NOED is going to be lucky to get beyond a 1K if they are doing their job. So, in summary, if Survivors are getting wiped out by a Camping Killer with NOED, that is on them.
I don't know what I'm talking about?
Unless it's a 4 man swf the game is already over.
An early-down, interrupted a gen 2 or more survivors have been working on, had ruin, etc... So many factors are there, gens don't magically get worked on the second the match start.
Solo teammates get destroyed by this since there is no way for them to know unless all three checked the hook and saw that I was camped.
Bitter Murmur and Noed will reveal all the remaining survivors for easy downs.
Answer me this, how can survivors avoid Noed and Bitter Murmur when they were rushing gens thanks to a camper?
Otz made a stream in August where he got ez 4k almost every match, with survivors rushing gens.
1k? Lmao are you serious? Have you been playing the game or are you just spouting nonsense on this forum the whole time?
Noed shouldn't activate for a facecamper.

And yet... people have that happen all the time and it is NOT an instant loss. You should be careful throwing around absolutes like they mean something when they don't.
If the camper gets an early-down, the team has 120 seconds to finish all gens and open the exit gate.
Let's say the killer got the first hook after one gen was completed, If the team finishes the remaining gens they would have no time to cleanse totems. And that if the team were SWF and knew the killer was camping so they rushed gens. Solo players get rekt by this playstyle
@AnnoyedAtTheGame said:
NOED doesn't need nerfing.
If you and you team can't be bothered to cleanse 5 totems and instead want to gen rush then that is yours and your team mates problem.
Get off the gens. Stop rushing
My issue is with camping killers getting rewarded with Noed for doing nothing while players were rushing gens because he was camping.
@youngjun said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1824092#Comment_1824092
It is because you didn't memorize totem's location.
And also, you can guess killer's perk and add-on during the game. If you doubt it is NOED. You should stop rushing and remove totems. As I said, lack of your skill is matter not NOED or Camping.
If the team was SWF (again solo players will get destroyed by this playstyle) And they prioritize totems, then the killer will %100 get another kill and bittur+noed will make the 4k even easier.
Let me repeat myself here:
Noed is fine
Camping+noed is not fine. If the game detects the killer is camping, noed shouldn't activate since there isn't enough time to do both gens and totems. The killer shouldn't be rewarded with noed if he wants to camp hooks all game then finishes with noed.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/213910/noed-camping-fix
- NOED isn't broken so it doesn't need a fix.
- Camping isn't broken so that doesn't need a fix.
- You already have options to deal with NOED; do the Bones.
- You already have options to deal with a Camper; use that free time effectively.
- As others have pointed out, a Bubba doesn't need NOED as he already has a chainsaw.
- The best way to deal with a Bubba is well-known (don't waste time healing, etc.)
I could go on. Stop blaming any particular Perk, Tactic, Build, etc. for your own failings. Stop looking for a scapegoat to vent about. Look yourself in the mirror and figure out what YOU can do to adapt. That is the long and the short of it.
As stated before and with many killers agreeing, Check the thread I've made on this subject.
When you camp with noed, survivors have 120 seconds to finish gens. An early-down means an instant loss for the team against noed and bitter murmur.
Let me repeat.
There isn't enough time to cleanse totems and finish gens if the killer is faceamping.
-
By your definition, I can basement camp as Bubba with noed and bitter murmur and boom I'm one of the best.
-
''you just tunneled each person off of first hook for easy 4k. That's scummy and not fun for survivors with very little counters outside of the sweat meta.''
And that's why it got nerfed.
No one waits till they've hooked all survivors and no one didn't tunnel.
Survivors aren't npcs, they are people trying to have fun in the game as well, and old Moris were anything but that.
-
DS should be reworked to punish killers that try the 3vs1 strat
-
Soooooo are you guys not gonna admit that %90 of hits are like this through pallets?
Are you guys gonna pretend that all killers don't abuse this knowledge?
Are you guy REALLY gonna pretend that this is new?
-
It helps perlong the chase against a tunneler.
It's not effective against a good killer who wants to 3vs1, and I hope the DS rework will punish hard tunnelers even more.
-
Remember guys, users here claimed it was also fun to "guess" when Spirit was using prayer beads.
Unlike Pyramid Head, nerfing his abitly only banalced things whereas nerfing Deathslinger's instant shot will render him unplayable.
It's %100 unfair, but nerfing it isn't the answer and a complete rework is what's needed.
