I watched a bit of the stream last night... he was truly putting on a show and gave everyone his A game... a 4 man 5 gen ebony mori wraith game.. how many times does that happen nowadays!? I'm looking forward to watching him play Deathgarden
-
@krick Exactly what this dude said... a lot of games survivors can feel guilty/cocky etc... and end up making a decision to save 1 person and then more people die.. but theres no way of keep track of those stats is there because that doesnt appear to be your agenda...Zarathos said:@Bravo0413 said:

@Grimzy i will to know why you say kilers are on top now .
R1-R5 killer stats (without DCs, moris and NOED) The requests for stat generation were as follows:
High Rank (Ranks 1-5) Excludes games that have less than 4 survivors spawn. Only counts sacrifices as kills; meaning it excludes DC's and Mori's from adding to the kill list. Specifically excludes games where NOED is used.

I am forwarding this question to our Data analyst! EDIT: He went with the specifics you asked for. Quick note, NOED is used in 14.6% of the games in Ranks 1 to 5. Killer and % Sacrificed HillBilly: 60%
You do realize that the numbers are most likely inflated with stupid decisions... 4ks that shouldn't be 4k's etc.. .
I'm guilty of this as well. As a team we all got to exit gates except one of us who was hooked. We saved her in the end but all three of us were hooked and killed in the process.

"BADWORD" that!! Really? The devs actually considered it? How is the killer making playing too much? It would have been 360 for the win 😆Runiver said:@Bravo0413 said:
I still dont understand why people feel this way.. there was a post in a Facebook community a guy thought that the killer shouldn't be able to turn while lunging....... it blows my mind.It has been one of the nerfs for killers that have been tested back then.
Even devs themselves considered it to be too much.
(Yes, it nearly happened live lol) -

I like how Hillbilly was statistically broken even before killer buffs, and without using a major endgame perk. But lel, "all killers should be brought up to Hillbilly's level".

Nurse doesnt have red addons because the devs didnt knos what to give her

Remember about the low-ranks. Adapting, I know, but before proposing something think about "How would I react to this when I first saw the game?"
Just as you stated adapt... or git gud... no other game I feel succumbs to their noobs as much as bhvr does.. how would Dark Souls be if fromsoft just nerfed everything when a player cried "this is to difficult"
-
This idea should be tested in a ptb... adding different objects I feel is something that should happen as well since its been the same for so long
-
This would involve a lot if changes..........maybe.... either way the devs I feel are a bit too lazy to try this out.. there is a need for more offerings though
-
I still dont understand why people feel this way.. there was a post in a Facebook community a guy thought that the killer shouldn't be able to turn while lunging....... it blows my mind.

Vigil should be buffed another way.. to throw vigil a buff that counteracts the exhaustion nerf with the DS nerf coming everyone will just run vigil.. and with maps still complete crap because the devs fail to make true balance choices I don't feel that sort of buff should come atm.. especially when their looking to nerf blood lust.. it would be completely and utterly broken if that happens
-
The restless spirit could just be an addition to beast of prey and rework the red stain mechanic it has... you then have another decent perk
-
There is a huge gap between the 2... you can say NOED is a crutch all you want the fact is it can be removed and it's on the survivors to remove it... DS is not removable and next to unavoidable if you're too far from a hook to juggle and the survivor is competent... the devs want killers to use noed simply because it's another reason they can use to slack on balancing the game..
-
Try finger butthole
-
I would say make it unique just for the character ya know and then only 1 of em on the build.. reason to play as dwight... reason to play as LF etc..

@switch it's not a true exploit though lol.. and I main pig.. I'm not in Europe and I'm on ps4... I agree if wait times are too long that would give reason to leave but tinkerer is not truly game breaking... the howling grounds flashlight save "fix" that was game breaking
-
I wouldn't say that the bug is "game breaking" lol... tinkerer is like the best bug to happen to this game ever imo.. it adds more jump scares and forces survivors to use their brain and look around for the killer... they should be use to this anyways with killers like mikey and hag, pig etc.... if they allow stupid changes to happen like their talking about coming into the ptb then I'll be stepping away... unless they have something coming that'll help the killer that gives reason to the changes that survivors are possibly getting I will step away from DBD as wellswitch said:@Bravo0413 said:
There probably going to attempt to "fix" this bug when the event drops.. hopefully we dont get howling grounds 2.0in any other game this bug should've been fixed ages ago but we talking about BHVR.
If they dont do something before the even might as well drop DBD once deathgarden gets released.

Its an issue affecting survivors and not a killer problem like sound e.g.
Even though tinkerer bug made the game a little more interesting/fun for those who have been playing the game for awhile.. I have to say that the tinkerer bug has been the most fun bug that's come to the game...

I really wish they would at least PTB reducing the size of the killers hitbox just by a little to see how it would play outmcNuggets said:Buff killers to be viable, stop looping and exploiting map mistakes and then we can talk about camping which is only a problem because killers are weak.
-
The devs have already stated in multiple streams that campings is a legit strategy and they've made perks and LF to make it a strong tactic... because you get butt hurt because you got camped doesnt mean it's a problem it means you need to get better at not getting caught
-
The killers arm or weapon depending on the killer goes through the window that's how they still connect hits.... go into KYF and experiment with it
-
I agree... most people know and the devs know that this is an on going issue.. the fact that the objective has been the same for 2years now should be reason to change it up and something else.. I thought of adding in an objective of having the survivors be in charge of building the hatch themselves... after each gen a piece of the hatch spawns and they have to find and place it at the hatch location... either way an increase in time to the gens is not the answer because it only makes the game more boring.. I like the idea of the cercuits
-
A trapped totem would be so dope imo lol.. the survivors finish cleansing it and it blows up an injures them 😂.. not last for the rest of the game though that would be too stupid....1:30 on hook would be nice to check out since SWF enjoy rushing the match anyways.. F13 died because of reasons... the maps need rework not to be smaller
-
I agree with @Aari_Piggy66 these two perks are fine... giving survivors bonus while not injured gives them perks with no draw back... there's a reason why deadhard has the condition it has
-
Then you dont see how that a free escape is wrong... if killer plays well then they should get the 4k... if survivors play bad they should fail 1 survivor is not an exception... you pointed out a new end game idea if teams decided to do that it would be a plus imo extra points and maybe an extra kill.. it wouldnt be punishing the "the wrong people"... if survivors gen rush that's on them they lose out on points possible... a lot of survivors complain about point income this would give them more points... hatch escape gives what an extra 2k? Giving 7k total for escaping..Lagoni said:I just don't think anyone would actually try building the hatch. Maybe after all the gens are done, which would just make the game much more frustrating for a killer who has already lost the game.
It's "punishing" the wrong people IMO.
I generally don't do hatch stand offs, and I don't know why some people waste so much time on them, and feel cheated when the last survivor gets hatch. If I'm killer, i just get the 300 points for the hit, and if I'm survivor, and the killer is at the hatch, I just do a gen. -
The fact that it's only in range of the hatch sound is completely fair what else is there to implement in the hatch stand off solution? 1 shot? The survivor escapes we know this already... instant mori is the only thing that could work at the stand off and it forces survivors to not stand infront of the killer knowing that they own the hatch when they shouldn'tthesuicidefox said:@Outland said:

I love how killer mains suggest solutions to the hatch standoff that clearly 100% benefits them and only them because they so desperately want a 4k.How about when the hatch spawns all survivors just die instantly? Seems fair right?
Ok man, what about my solution said Killer only solution?
The fact that the killer gets an instant mori. SMH How do you not see that as being completely overpowered?
-
It's high risk high reward.. you build it you all could get the hatch escape and points.. as you pointed out the hatch is not needed to escape therefore if someone's being a dick then just do gens.. you could easily have it to where when someone is on the hook have them drop the part that way someone else can pick it up.. either way I feel the survivors should have to fight for their escape not be given the hatch and it shouldnt be just taken away with the hatch closing... this would be the alternative I feel.. because the devs tried what 3 different ways of doing the hatch closing in a ptb? None of them they liked.. why not give the survivors something else to do in the game to slow it down for killers that are trash tier like wraith, freddy, LF...Lagoni said:@Bravo0413 said:
The idea is so the survivors have to constantly think after each gen is done they need to find this part now just incase things go south for them other wise no hatch will be available for the last person and it was their fault for not building the hatch.. yes the gen rush is still there but if they want the extra bp they have another objective of building the hatch... maybe it could be another escape route after their done building it... theres possibilities to adding this in rather then use the hatch as a comfort zone because it's free escape for the survivor..
Yeah okay. I also think some games go by much too quick, but a hatch building mechanic just seems a bit clunky. What will you do, if the guy who picks up the part doesn't build it?
It also feels like "planning to fail". We can do the gens real quick and win, or we can build this stupid hatch, and waste time until we lose. -

What would the purpose of that be? It also implies that all generators would have to be fixed, which would make the hatch obsolete anyways.
If all you want is get rid of a boring hatch standoff, just give the survivor an "open hatch" animation. If it's a couple of seconds long, then they would have to get there first in order to escape (or at least be there alone).
I guess you could also have the hatch work like it does now (opens when one survivor left with at least 2 gens done), but then have the "close hatch" option for the killer. It wouldn't do anything other than make the "open hatch" a requirement for the survivor.
-
BBQ would be just above trash tier for perks without the point gain.. just sayin

Since Survivors say NOED reward bad gameplay, the hatch should become a perk.
What if survivors had to hunt and build the hatch themselves.... each gen complete spawns a part of the hatch? Just an idea not really thought out

SC has no real counter there is no downside to it other then it heals slower... there is no loss of progress when you have to run... it should regress while walking and regress faster when running, vaulting etc... I have no fear when i run SC and in a survival horror game I should have some fear.. being chased i can heal at killer shack, at a safe loop because I dont have downside running that perk... sloppy butcher? Samething applies no loss of progress with any perk that slows down healing for that matter... the samething applied to DS there was no counter to it now at least that perk will draw 1 or 2 people to make the save slowing the game down
Let me just remind you I'm playing ranked 1 killer BECAUSE IM SO BIASED MATE
How aren't you biased? You literally only talk about killer buffs. You're blinded by bias.infinite SB, DH & SC?
If you have to complain about dead hard as a killer you're probably VERY VERY bad at it.
Sprint burst, infinite? lol what are you even talking about, exhaustion nerfs, one time use in a chase, get better.
Self care, it's almost like there's a trillion perks to help counter this perk, lol.Yea, add them to totems so you come back and complain about having to cleanse totems.
-
No they wouldn't have to do anything actually the maps are so broken in the current state it doesnt even matter that they "nerfed" exhaustion perks...as long as the killer breaks a pallet you have enough time to make it to another that's broken simply because you loop certain pallets for so long... reducing the collision should be done especially now that their talking about putting iframes on people that are being unhooked? Like why?Envees said:@Bravo0413 said:
Touken said:Adapt? how can we adapt when you keep getting camped and tunneled, and dont say play stealthy because you cant because of the aura reading perks. The flashlight change is kinda good but it would be better if they put just a bit more time in the pick up animation
You do sound a lot like a survivor main especially here... survivors are still way op having complete control over the game time limit and the looping collision exploit which I'm hoping they speak about but I doubt they will.. it would be great if the reduced the size of the killers collision just a little bit...
If they reduced the hitboxes of the killers to match that of the survs a lot more things would need to get looked at. The map for starters. They would need to add more situations where time can be eaten up or reduce the amount of time neeed per gen or even reduce gen count. This could also mean more pallets, jungle gyms, LOS breakers, rebalancing exhaustions perks to make chases longer. They are leaving it in cos this is what kills time in the game. Sucks for us killers.
-
Not as salty... it was just before when I was playing around with the idea that survivors qould be able to combine the iframes right off the hook.. which that is ridiculous and shouldnt be the case..chemical_reject said:NB4 salty killer mains detected.. -
I mean at least it wont be iframe "combos" I guess I can put it... i just wonder if it's like only a half second that the killer is given to get the hit in..Tsulan said:@Bravo0413 said:
I just spoke with someone who works for behavior... yes it will still be possible to get a hit in to get the knockdown before their SB and DH activates.. there is going to be a timing to it though... "skill based" for the killer again and no skill required on the survivors side again if they get away..Business as usual
-
The issue is the unhooking changes and not fixing maps before nerfing something that is already pointless to killers that are experienced anyways...really the only time I ever use BL is to end the game when the last survivor decides to infinite me.. killers always play the ptb for a couple days to test everything survivors dont.. I wish I had PC so i could play it
-
They truly need to do something about swf some how they need to make to where if they make changes to swf it only effects swf and not solo players... like the upcoming buffs to survivors it should only effect solo players.. swf have comms and shouldn't need/receive these buffs.. not talking about the animation changes...the unhooking changes only should not go into swf..
-
Have you any clue how many safe pallets and horrible loops there are on the meat plant? And even if it is a little geared towards killer 1 map that actually goes toward killer compared to the coldwind maps, Macmillans, autohavens, swamps... soo many go against the killer and we're going to whine about 1 damn map that comes out and is nice for killer...... really?

Perma kindred will result in killers being forced to camp or immediately lose their hooked player within 10secondsIt doesn't really change much - as a killer you either camp and the survivors do gens anyway.
Or you leave the hook and the survivor gets saved. The only thing it really helps is survivors knowing each others location which will result in better saving. But seeing as 80% of players are 4-Man SWF Teams (Lol) it doesn't really matter as they know all the info anyways.
A counter would be to make insidious "Hide the aura of the killer when in range of the hook" etc etc.
80% are swf? no.
yes insidious should hide the aura
-if SWF are given the permanent kindred as well it's going to give them even more and better coordination then they have now.... why on earth wouldnt this be an issue... if they were giving these "QoL changes" to solo players only there wouldnt be an issue but these changes going swf is only going to give more possibilities of bullying the killer -

Hatch needs to stay hidden btw.. that breaks the end game... a separate "code paper" needs to be for the hatch after it spawns and a key needs to made available to open the shack after the killer closes the hatch... give the killer the ability to lock the gens as well..
-
I like the lock out idea actually!! The codes should be hidden in places that could be obvious but the survivors would have to find the gen that the code goes too so it would work... but we need to keep in mind of nurse and Billy how would it effect those matches? The survivors deff need something like this and I'm hoping that the devs have something in mind soon
-
Can you link that stream xD only because I main pig I know that shes still weak but I just wanna see it lol... I agree with all of what listed her fov doesnt line up with where shes at while crouched... her crouching time needs to be reduced its obnoxious and maybe buff her movement speed a little bitRuniver said:@Bravo0413 said:
Runiver the biggest kill rate at rank 1Where do you find these stats? I doubt pig beats out nurse Billy and huntress..
The latest stats in the dev stream just show Piggy has the highest killrates at rank 1.
That being said, these killrates don't mean ######### anyway. Pig is rather average and could use a buff.
I got a pretty easy method to know if a killer requires a buff :
If you can give his/her ability 3 substantial buff, and still say "Well, it still looks ok", then the killer is definitely weak. It's actually really hard to give 3 buffs to Hillbilly's. Tho it's really easy to give 3 buffs to Pig without making her broken, example :
- A better FOV while crouching
- A delayed roar
- A longer dash overall/a slightly faster dash to help to outrun SB and such.
-
@Brady this is an outstanding idea and prevents abuse of certain things... it also encourages role play and different styles instead of the same toxic play style we see so much of..
-
Which would make them less of problem because maybe the insta doesnt even get used in the match
