Omg I'm going to be freaked if it's the grudge!!.. I pray it's not the teacher but it does appear to be quite creepy so I guess either I'll be happy
-
I agree with most of these... reducing the timer wont do much.. her traps need to start after the survivor has been saved (unhooked or picked up) after a gen is complete the trap receives a penalty and timer is reduced... reduce the time it takes to crouch as well and buff crouch movement speed
-
BL 1 is nothing. ... and even then as long as you're by pallet and have map knowledge of where to go next there is no need to fret about BL because you can force the pallet break rather easy... we've all been the survivor to loop the killer for 3-5 gens which just proves that BL is an absolute nightmare to deal with am I right??.....SenzuDuck said:@yeet said:

Why are Survivors rewarded for failure to hide and LoS juke by being able to Loop?
When you have a killer going at a million miles per hour because of blood lust how tf you gunna juke his line of site lmfao.
lmao how you gonna let him start bloodlusting you in the first place?
What? blood lust 1 is 15 seconds. If you get out of every chase within 15 seconds you're top tier rank 1 global elite master rank level 99 survivor.

Not_Queen already stated that their not doing the creeper.. she just replied to a post not too long ago on here

Youd think clues would be on the newest map right??
-
Let's just hope that they didnt reveal everything... Vinceveyga idk how to spell his name... anyways he got invited to behavior and got a behind the scenes look at chapter 9 and stated that Marth88 would love what's coming that tells me that theres something good that's killer related coming to the game
-
Calls camping an exploit LMAO!... the devs have said multiple times they made camping, they want it in the game it's a strat!... why do you think LF was made the way he was? Like look at these things
-
Same with Amanda's breathing... though it's a good thing because it throws off survivors to an extent

This is bait

Honestly if they just made the killer powerful enough they could bring back insta blinds but change the blind so it's not as bright and you can somewhat see... I just look at Death garden and think why wouldnt the dev team do better for 5he killer if they made them stronger there would be reason to give survivors DS, insta blinds, insta heals... insta bnps are stupid and it would still be broken af even if the made the killer as strong as the hunter in DG... but I mean why not... a sprint for the killer to cross the big maps and have blinds still stun the killer in the sprint... keep the 2 hit downs and hit mechanics etc... but allow the killer to use the sprints chase... we wont be needing a reason to talk about fixing gens and it would be sowly based on the killers skill... have the sprint work like the exhaustion for survivors only the old version so while the killers moving it takes longer to recharge/ cooldown but you can still use what you have... maybe make it to where only the killers without fast mobility will be able to use it so nurse and Billy would be excluded

Ruin- I'm tired of feeling that if I dont take this perk in the match will be over in 4mins and I'll only have a few hooks on people when I play on meat plant I don't run it and it's a lot of fun
-
See deathgarden... no loading screens... the runners can move their characters around in the lobby waiting for the match to start... the hunter is skillbased and strong enough to take on any group that comes into their match... none of this free escape ######### blah blah blah.... pure skill v skill... this is what I want for DBD
-
Its the killers job to kill.. if killer is not killing killer is not working as intended.. its the one job they have..survivors are not meant to live every match therefore if survivors know their going to die they mine as well waste as much time as possible giving the team the best chance they haveslingshotsurvivor said:
By the same token killers should not be entitled to sacrifices.MaxiferPriest said:Survivors should NOT be entiteled to escape! they are just taking escaping for granted cuz of the current state of the game, and it should NOT be like this! Killer should be feared and survivors dying on the 2nd hook would be BALANCED! since they have 1975957 second chances! Of course baby salty survivor mains would cry if this would happen, but it would be a good balance! maybe give BT as a default perk with survivors and 2nd hook is death! It would make survivors think about saves, about their gameplay etc...
I do like the BT being default WITH 2 hook kill though. Good idea! -
@not_Queen will killer be able to hook with a survivor underneath the hook.. not blocking at a distance from the hook but if the killer is within distance of when they would normally get the hook prompt and a survivor is crouching beneath the hook will the killer be able to hook the survivor.. I know "just hit them" but it's still something that's not really that smooth I guess I'll call it like what the OP stated about being unable to unhook a survivor while the killer is in an animation..
-
It's not difficult that's what the OP is saying.. it rewards the survivor with more great skillchecks which speeds up the gen..slingshotsurvivor said:
Why nerf survivors if they can hit a difficult skill check? Just get rid of it all together if that's the case, problem solved.White_Owl said:Lately I found myself playing against a strangely high number of killers using UP and I noticed a thing: under the effect of the perk I'm able to hit more great skillchecks than usual. It's probably due to a combination of factors: with less forgiving skillchecks I focus more on the timing so I get better results, and the great zone is proportionally bigger in the smaller skillchecks, making it statistically more likely to hit the skillcheck in thegreat zone. I also noticed this was the case with other survivors.
In other words, Unnerving Presence seems to make skillchecks easier for experienced survivors.
I think something should be made to make the perk not an handicap in high ranks. The easiest solution would be to make the great zone affected by the perk, reduced or removed altogether, but other possible effects could be implemented like counter-clockwise skillchecks. -
Yes I do know that if I dont do well and dodge the hit I'm still exhausted it's called punished for poor play just as many pvp games do.. reward and punish that's what pvp does... dead hard is the most skill based exhaustion perk and rewards you the most when you master it there is nothing wrong with itMilo said:@Bravo0413 said:
It's one of the best perks in the game and actually depends the survivors skill... git gud I have no problems using it.. everything shouldnt be braindead for survivors...Yeah. On Survivor Skill. Not on connection AT ALL. Y'know when you use it you get exhausted and you still get hit?
-
There doesnt need to be anymore punish to camping... just do the objective that's all people have to do... the killer is not doing anything the objective is being given to the survivors... it would be going against the lore in so many ways if the entity who wants the survivors dead would help the survivors escape..unholydan said:rework the game so that stealth is a viable option, be cause currently survivors have no incentive to do so
make windows have a certain ammount they can be used maybe 2-3 times then the window would breake maiking it unusable and the survivor would be stunned for a little by falling on the ground and picking themselfs up
make new objectives that would slow the game down forexample the survivors needs to find hidden evidence about who the killer is, untill they do so they cant leave and when the survivors are in the game and lobby untill about 2/3 of the evidence is found the killer is shrouded in some way so you can't see who it is
in regards to camping make an it so that it is incouraged not to do, and i do have a suggestion, the more survivors that gets hooked the worse the team does overall. remember how in horror movies the more people that gets hurt and die the more the protagonists starts to panic and do worse. but the debuff would only come if it was done on survivors that wasn't killed near hooked survivors and unhooked survivors would take a little time before if you hooked them you would apply the debuff
the trappers trap and the hags hexes needs to be harder and take longer to remove because right now they are a joke to remove
another solution to camping make the generators take longer to fix but if the killer stay within a certain radius of a hooked survivor within a certain ammount of time after the survivor have been hooked the survivors get a promt and start working faster
make the game last atleast 5 min longer at the shortest but give both killers and survivors way more options in the game to dictate how the game will go like forexample a dummy so the killer thinks a survivor is still hooked fake blood that could make the killer think he has found a wounded person, sand or dust that could blind the killer
in return give the killer a ways to mess with the survivors like sabotaging pallets, windows and generators
you wouldn't know where they are but you know they would be hidden inside certain item boxes
give the last survivior a chance to accually kill the killer when there is only 1 survivor left inside a certain ammount of item boxes maybe 1-3 could be a weapon that could be used to kill the killer but the survivor when picking up the weapon cant hear where the killer is anymore adn it goes to first person view only to make it fair for each person
remove certain perks from the game that are making the game unhealthy for both survivors and killers and rework surviors and certain killers to make the games last longer and be more healthy
make either a point system where you can have more perks but the rteally good ones costs alot of points
or how about make perks have drawbacks forexample if the huntress carry more axes she lose movement speed beased on hwo many axes she carries
survivors that takes a perk that makes them repair generators faster have a harder time noticing the killer when working on the generator since they are focusing more on the generator they for get the world around them
remember these are just suggestions would love to hear ould people think and looking forward to your ideas

-
No... gens are good... we need another way to slow the game down... the survivors need more to do... that is how the match gets extended that little bit the killer may need
-
What if they reworked it where.. altruistic actions are reduced by a certain % so healing and saving.. and while working a gen/healing there is a certain % of it blowing up and the person screaming in pain... just an idea
-
This right here is something that would help a lot. Even if they were to reduce the hitbox but just a small amountPeasant said:What killers need is to have identical sized hitboxes as the survivors. This will negate the effectiveness of looping and fat shaming which will make killers more of a threat. -
Alls he needs is to start out with 2 and able to carry 2 at base.... and hed be good. Nothing crazy
-
He has nothing for the chase and his power can be easily abused by survivors...this is why Freddy needs a buff.. if you're going to have a killer that has to wait to hit their prey that killer should be strong not weak AFiceman2kx said:I love Freddy, he's my favorite killer by far. He has such a trolly play style. IMHO the only buff he needs is to make it more difficult for survivors to get out of dream state. I noticed on games where survivors are spread out, they can just run to each other to wake each other up or continue to work on gen's for skill checks while you run around like an idiot trying to put them to sleep.

This idea would be dope AFMercury said:Hey, I think the illusion idea sounds great, but probably won't be implemented. It would require the devs to create some sort of AI and as far as we know, they didn't intend to do such a thing. Another question would be: Since the phantoms don't do anything like they can't hurt you, wouldn't survivors simply ignore them? A lot of survivors don't fear Freddy at all, so they probably would be left unimpressed and keep doing what they're doing. Especially if the real Freddy gets close and the illusion vanishes. :ohnoes:
I had some different ideas for Freddy too, maybe you'd like them. I always felt like there is a lack of actually being scared of falling asleep. Especially since Quentin is there and he knows how terrifying Freddy can be. With Quentin being there we can also dive deeper into the movie's lore and digg up different stages of dreaming. Quentin would be the expert at the campfire, telling the others what exactly they need to do to survive. I would like to suggest three stages instead of two for the survivors.
Stage one is simply being awake. You would start off like this normaly as in every other round, only hearing Freddy's lullaby. Once he tagged you after a transition of four seconds you'd enter the second stage. Alright here is the first thing though. People don't like that you have to wait as Freddy to hit someone, so I would almost suggest, that people start off in the second stage, not even realizing they are dreaming, yet.
Stage two is microsleep. If you remember the movies you can clearly recall the supermarket scene. Freddy interfering with the real world, shredding through the shelf and even hurting Nancy. This would be the stage we have right now for dreaming survivors. Freddy can hurt and touch them. However he can't see them outside of his terror radius. (I never like this feature, I have a different idea instead. But later on~) Their action speed is halved and a skillcheck failure would return them to stage one. Even though they return to stage one, they keep a debuff, causing them to fall asleep again after twenty seconds. If another survivor wakes them up, they return to stage one with the debuff but it takes fourty seconds to fall asleep again. So self sustaining can only get you so far. A survivor that wakes themselves for two times in a row and falls back asleep gets an extra debuff, exposing them to Freddy in the dream world.
Stage three, the deep sleep. The most feared stage. After a survivor has been asleep for at least fifteen seconds and has not woken up, Freddy can pull them further into the dream. They transtition from microsleep to deep sleep. In this stage they are seperated from their body, as it lies on the ground, sleeping. I'll split it here to explain what Freddy and the survivor can do at this point.
To be honest I don't really know what Freddy's power in the deep sleep should be, so I am open to suggestions. I have ideas, but they might be too harsh.

For the survivor: The survivor awakens in the third stage, cut off from his other teammates. They don't see anyone and objects appear differently like chests, totems, hooks or generators swap their models or such. In this stage they essentially have to 'realize' they are dreaming and they have to find the exit. Realizing they're dreaming can be achieved by investigating the different objects. After a sort of action like cleansing or something, the item is shown as what it really is and they slowly realize they're dreaming. The number of times this has to be done can be discussed further. Once they've realized they are dreaming, they have to return to their body and wake themselves up, which could take about 12 seconds. This can be sped up with another survivor beside your body, waking you up in half the amount of time. Also a survivor in deep sleep can be woken up with a medkit without them having to realize they are dreaming. This depletes the medkit. I imagined there would be some adrenaline in there, so please tell me if you like or dislike this idea. The other survivor would inject them with adrenaline, causing them to wake up and return them to stage one, like the normal wake up action would.
I imagine they won#t go with this idea, since it would probably be too much work but hey- I can hope, right?
Get it? Hope? ...nah, I'll shut up~ -
Wait till rank reset and play another killer that interested in learning.. play that killer for the season and level them up... since you have freddy mastered only play him when when you see a crew spawn in the lobby that assume will be trouble.. and then invest all the bloodpoints into the new killer... or use your freddy and survivor and farm bp into the killer that you wanna learn open all 4 perk slots and get decent perks before playing them
-
Okay so this perk gives a 5th perk to survivors theres the drawback........... ######### does the perk do for the killer now because atm theres a lot of downside but no upside..
-
And her crouch speed should be increased anyways at least too nurse movement speed... along with the time it takes to crouch should be reduced and maybe adjust her roar a bit
-
Traps need to activate as soon as the trapped surv is saved... rule set should force the survs to search all 4 or 5 boxes by only revealing 1 box at a time...
-
Hes talking about over aultuistic survivors who hook rush... in which case he doesn't have a chance to get away from the hook... so your statement or answer is invalid.. please learn more about the game..jakeb_1993 said:The alterative would be for you not to be near the hook to trigger it. Rank reset works differently now unfortunately I'm going to be with the fresh noobs but not as many vets will be stuck in the noob rush
-
Leave my home map alone... the map is what more should be... balanced... I have survivors win and lose... it's also the only map that I feel comfortable enough to play without ruin which is something a lot of killers want.
-
I hope so it would be nice to have different stuff to do while playing survivor... it gets so damn boringtheArashi said:I see that a lot of relatively new players are on this forum too and it is a good thing but it seems you guys don't know how game look like at high ranks.
Against competent survivors(and it doesn't mean swf as they are completely different piece of fruit) killer needs to spend around minute to down first survivor. If that survivor has DS chase can get extended by 30-60 seconds on average depending on how good loops are available to him.
In that time remaining 3 survivors are not pressured in any way shape or form. They will not run away due to heartbeat not look through chests or anything that isn't required for success. They will simply do gens. In the time first survivor gets downed and hooked they will finish at least 3 gens and work on remaining two.
Killer leaving the hook would make hook save easy and pressure just one other survivor while other two can either go for the save or finish the gen and then go.
At this rank ruin's only point is to make survivors waste some time if they want easy 1k points for cleansing as it doesn't slow down the gen progression at all.
Additonal objective is needed for survivors but it is up to devs to think about solutions and they apparently have something ready for chapter 9 but we will see.
-
As for having to many lives no.. they have to many chances... a chance is being taken away with the DS nerf and it's actually going to take teamwork and skill to get the person off the shoulder which is nice but there is still insta heal, unbreakable (which I'm unsure if it's a problem but it's still a chance added) which combined could give 4 chances in a single match to 1 person
-
What master said.. it should be killer needs 3 kills to win... and survivors stay the same
-
No... git gud at juking
-
You again lol.. you are deff inexperienced with this game.. anyone who says "the killers increase in speed gives them the advantage" doesnt know that the killers hitbox size counteracts that "advantage of increase in speed" it's because of this that looping is a problem which makes pallets a problem..jakeb_1993 said:I am unsure, I don't see pallets as a problem. Killers have a speed increases so can close the extra distance gained by a pallet. I think it's down to more Killers getting tunnel vision and fixating on a target so much the rest of the team can do whatever they like in molested. Learn when to give up and go back to applying pressure on all survivors. -
Devs need to take some of the money that they are making now and invest in better servers.. If they cant handle when the game is free for a month how on earth do the devs intend on growing their community
-
Ofcourse this guy has it right.. blame Sony for the devs not having their crap in line and ready......... really? Lmao!
-
The issue is he has nothing for the chase... his power is incredibly weak and hinders him so much...Freudentrauma said:@yeet said:
Freddy is one of the most difficult killers to play effectively.
He's deceptively complex and if you're just sleeping and chasing one person at a time you're playing him wrong, he's all about juggling multiple targets and being unpredictable.I play him more complex with switching targets and sleeping more than one survivor, if possible. But still playing him feels like. "I see a survivor, that isn't sleeping. Should sleep him." There are rare cases, where the choice to sleep a survivor feels like there is a thought process behind it. And all his other abilitys around the dreamworld are just passive. With Wraith, I can bait survivors with my uncloaking e.g. Or use it for mobility etc. Even Leatherface can bait with his chainsaw sometimes etc.
Freddy on the other hand might be able to use his aura seeing within chases, but it really feels more like basic chase tactics. Not like you are directional using his ability to control the game. More like how to play with it, because it kinda hinders you. -
Bruh.... hes known as campface for a reason..... hes a ######### killer that needs a lot of TLC.. the chainsaw is utter garbage and the punish that he has when he runs into things is far to punishing since he lacks so much power....

You're simply inexperienced.. so I can understand with what you're saying.. when you first start playing the game it can be quite punishing for newer survivors.. with playtime you'll start learning where the pallet spawn points are where the safe loops are.. practice watching the killer while looping and you wont go down as easily... this game is severely unbalanced when it comes to the timer and it's simply because the devs dont give anything else for the survivors to work with.. I dont enjoy playing survivor multiple times because it's so boring after awhile.. the most fun I have is when I get chased which is brokenly favored for the survivor who knows what their doing.. as a survivor I want more to do and as killer I want more time to kill and reason to not have ruin on my buildjakeb_1993 said:Yeah I do get the impression that Killers are stronger. I am in the 15-10 bracket and while I like the Increase in difficulty, I do find that this is at the expense of some nasty tricks, hook camping has become so much more prevalent on these ranks.
Generators time could be extended to make a longer game, but I think the wiggle timer needs to come down as there is far too many hooks on the map to be able to make it possible to do anything. 6 seconds of singing on my stick to the point it feels like it will break and I only get to roughly half way. Bear in mind that you always at least 5 seconds away from a hook. To me it seems the killers have the advantage. If they play the field right, don't fixate on survivors, I think you can get far. -
