"This #########'s why i'm Wraith!"
I know you said Survivors, but still wanted to share this thought. ๐
-
I would be for a global timelimit even if it means my preferred side (Killer) would be made the loser of the trial.
I'd rather be booted out like that than be stuck with some forever-hidden Survivors.
-
Then i'd suddenly feel like picking up Survivor again. ๐ณ
-
They could go for a newer title, but it doesn't really fit their trend of going for oldies.
-
Oh cool. Now that it's fixed, i am able to talk about the actual subject. /s
Idk, it looks nice but doesn't really feel special.
Doesn't need to be special to me but yeah, just nice.
-
If you're looking at it on a week-by-week or month-by-month basis then sure, there are times where it goes down hard and up hard.
In the bigger picture, it's more popular than every before, and the average amount of players of today are the highest peaks years ago.
-
Title makes me think you're saying Left 4 Daddy. ๐
-
Think the dev said 2 months? on stream, how long they'll wait to then see what they'll do with him.

I just played a match. The speed is like if u hit a pounce and slowly were moving and yes u can still be kicked. I don't really like this change and kinda make them feel sluggish. Wish they just did missed pounces
Ahh, so it's pretty much the successful main-weapon hit movement speed?
No wait, what am i saying, it's not out yet. ๐

I assume that regardless.
Then you weren't included in my "we". ๐
-
Kate for sure.
-
It's funny, i think i know why, but i don't think i can explain it well at all, and i could also just end up being wrong.
BUT, i think why this is a thing cause they don't want the game to save while you're searching for a lobby.
And i think the game saves whenever you accept the rewards on a Daily or whenever you simply exit the Dailies menu.
Someone else most likely knows better than me.

That might be, but then I don't understand the reason for the change (probably for the sake of the consistency god.)
Well i still don't understand why Nightmare has a Haemorrhage effect on a Very Rare Add-on, so i guess there's just things we won't know. ๐

Uh no as I said when a killer brings up 4 hex perks that light up 5 totems then 5 totems will glow with the effect of the 4 perks.. so basically that ,,no effect hex" is not existing in this case.
This idea is there to make one survivor stop for a few seconds doing this ,,pointless" totem + a team will never know if the killer is playing now with 3 perks or still 4 (also I mentioned that slight retribution buff since it can now trigger twice potentially)
Oh okay sorry, didn't get that.
-
@Bwsted said:
If true, they actually increased the slug potential, because you can't kick while he moves. That, or I'm missing something.
Well i wonder what this truly means.
Idk the Twins well, but this sounds like it'll be the same as the movement after a regular successful hit: Slow.
And maybe you'll be able to kick him cause he'll be slow enough?
Speculation btw.
-
What about Hex: Haunted Ground?
Will a 6th Hex Totem appear with nothing on it?

Donโt bump them and theyโll fall off the first page quickly. Itโs the same with every new patch.
Yeah, i know.

What I mean is the alphabet people post was mixed.
The obsession change posts are all on the same page. It's easier to see a clear sign of agreement.
They are on the same page now.
That won't be the case soon.

To the different Tome Levels. It is not a flat 10 Rift Fragments (aka 1 Rift Tier), but will be higher for each Level of the Tome.

It refers to the Tome Levels, if I am not mistaken.
Okay, many thanks!

Idk. The alphabet character thread isn't all in agreement. I disagree with it myself.
I think flooding the front page with discussions all saying how good of a change this is might get the message across a bit better. But to each their own.
What they're doing doesn't matter.
You just have the discussion and title be positive, and the comments, good or bad, keep it high.
-
So do we now assume DS 24/7?

@Zixology said:

I'm hoping this is a wake up call to the devs like "Hey look at how happy people are when we listen to them!"
You know what an effective way is to do that?
Just flood 1 discussion with comments like how everyone currently does with that one about an alphabet character being added.
As long as it won't leave the front page, they'll see it.

That's wayyyy too much of a nerf
They were close.

Here we go, the 10+ discussions on the same thing.
-
I don't mind one bit that this happens.
It's nice for Survivors, and i just cloak.
I can see myself walk away after hooking someone and cloaking.
Then once i'm fully cloaked, i instead walk into the direction i actually want to go.
Might fool some people...
...I guess i can already do that, but i thought of this in the case that Open-Kindred becomes popular.

I do remember they said one of the characters already in the roster was created with being LGBT in mind.
Cool.

Lightborn has the obvious problem of doing nothing if there's no Flashlights. I guess you can count it as a benefit to not suffer from Flashlights, but you're using up a Perk slot to do so, so consider if that's worth it. But it does what it needs to very well against Flashlights.
Tinkerer isn't too useful on those who can control their Terror Radius to some degree, but even on Wraith it's better to be silent and uncloaked than silent but cloaked. Other than that i don't really know, i don't use it much. (Go figure.)
Enduring's nice if you wanna stop caring about Pallets, or to combine it with Spirit Fury. It can be really good if you save the insta-break for the Pallets where it matters, using it on a Pallet next to a window is just a wasted insta-break.
I'd rate his Teachable collection 7/10.
-
Wow, this topic sure always gets crowded with comments, doesn't it?
From what i recall from a dev comment, they said the team starts work on chapters very early, i think they said a year.
I wager we don't have one yet because the chapters of the last 12 months were already being made.
And that's of course no guarantee the one after the RE chapter will include a character of the alphabet.
Heck, they might not make it a new chapter at all, but make it a thing with an existing character using the Archives.
-
None, i don't make friends. ๐จ
-
I'd even call Five Nights At Freddy's more influential than Outlast, and i don't like FNAF.
-
Oh definitely, even a returning Crow is a valuable indicator to me.
Crows return after 15 seconds btw, so that's already a lot better than 30.
-
No, but not as a loss either...So i don't really know what i think of it.
Maybe i see it as a DC that has been paid for (consumes Dull/Skeleton Key or Milky Glass) to not be counted as a DC.

Yeah, the good ole Machine Gun build. It was way before my time, but I have seen it in action thanks to a few videos.
Very...interesting.
And before that, the numbers were so tiny that it was Monstrous Shrine bad.

This Article is a Compendium of all Movement Speeds featured in-game for both the Killers and the Survivors .It also lists how Movement Speeds are affected by Perks , Add-ons and Status Effects . 1 Overview 2 Application & Stacking 3 Survivors 3.1 Default speeds 3.1.1 Fatigue 3.1.2 Stamina System 3.2 Perk Effects 3.3 Power Effects 3.4 Status Effects 4 Killers 4.1 Default speeds 4.2 Perk Effects 4.2.1 Play with Your Food 4.3 The Trapper 4.4 The Wraith 4.4.1 Wailing Bell Add-ons 4.5 The Hillbilly
Here you can see the movement speeds the "official but not really but kinda official" wiki has determined, up-to-date.
And his cloaked movement speed is about 80% slower than a Hillbilly Chainsaw-sprinting.
I don't know your situation, but i'm guessing that you're just not used to his new speed.
-
Oh yay, i'm in the minority!
-
@GeneralV said:
Yeah, it took me months to notice that :) . It probably was supposed to be one of Wraith's teachables at some point.
Also, the icon shows Blood Trails because Unrelenting used to affect successful attacks.
Oh yeah! Forgot about that too!
Well #########

Doesn't @Boss main wraith? Let's ask them.
Is what op claim about wraith valid and what is his best addons?
His map pressure has become better, but not much changes by just adding more speed.
It feels better when playing as him and it makes you interact more with him when playing against him, but nothing has changed about the actual pressure that matters: The progression pressure.
Once you're in a chase, you either take the risk of leaving them alone to heal up again, or you commit to the chase and risk having to face one of the many low-object loops, long-wall window loops, Killer Shack with an intact Pallet, or a garbage main building.
And while you chase, the 3 others are completely free to do as they please.
Hillbilly and Nurse are true examples of actual pressure.
They not only get around faster at base, they can actually damage during it.
It doesn't matter if Wraith is invisible if you can still see him come within 24 meters.
Moreover, he's still very loud, and i've been able to hear him snarl over my Generator progress numerous times.
His camping has certainly gotten more efficient, but the main counters to his camping haven't changed at all, and the new Borrowed Time will certainly gain popularity against all Killers -1, so it'll become less appealing to do even if they don't know if the Survivors have it or not.
I don't even wanna go into the "fixes", because naming them that is misleading at the least.
His best Add-ons to me are Coxcombed Clapper, "All Seeing" - Blood, Bone Clapper (but only in combination with "The Ghost" - Soot), "The Ghost" - Soot (but only in combination with either Coxcombed Clapper or Bone Clapper), and "All Seeing" - Spirit at the bottom of the top.
Both Shadow Dances are not great on their own, you need to have led Survivors to an open space to make good use of them. Combined with "The Serpent" - Soot they actually get use now, but it does require 2 Add-ons.
Swift Hunts are still as mediocre as ever.
Windstorms are the new average. Y'know: It's nice to go faster, but he doesn't need it anymore.
"Blind Warrior" - White is meh, 3.6 extra seconds per heal isn't great. It might be adding up towards the end, but i just don't get use out of it.
Blinks are a funny joke.
"Blind Warrior" - Mud is only okay in them anti-Aura builds, hot garbage at other times.
"The Beast" - Soot is self-explanatory. Kinda funny in Terror Radius builds tho, especially with Dark Devotion & "The Ghost" - Soot, for some extreme TR shenanigans!
"The Hound" - Soot is a prime example of how weak Common Add-ons can be in this game. Unless you're a die-hard Bloodhound fan, this ain't it for you.
"The Serpent" - Soot is bad on its own, as Survivors just run away as soon as you start kicking, making the speed burst useless. But like Shadow Dances, this isn't the case if you do it in an open area, and combined with Shadow Dances, it might actually get you that hit.
Coxcombed Clapper and "All Seeing" - Blood might actually need to be looked at now, now that Wraith's like this, but other than that he's in a great spot!
-
I also play on console for a majority of my time unless I'm playing a ranged killer because I'm not that into masochism...
Ugh. Why can't I quit you dbd. Is it because I hate myself?
Idk man, i think you might be into that kinda stuff.
Anyway you mentioned Wraith, so unsurprisingly i recommend him.

I just do a bong with my bell and it's as if their E button presses down by itself.

I feel it was originally gonna be a wraith teachable and either predator or bloodhound be common also maybe sloppy at some point was tied to billy cause fo the animal on the icon but then again all of billy's perks fit him really well so I doubt it.
Good one, i didn't think of the pig.
-
If only you could tell me mid-trial.
Idk, sometimes i just don't feel like killing all.
Kinda weird, but it is what it is.
-
They exist in most games, this game just brings it out more easily because asymmetrical PvP.
The amount of hate i got for not bowing against my opponent in any Dark Souls or healing while fighting is huge.
-
Hm? What should they have learned from 4.5?
-
Great so far, but they gotta get back on the Dwight one.
-
Well sure, i don't mind if you want to play with insta-gens, machine guns, actual infinites, forever Sprint Burst, trapped Hooks, permanent sabotage...Am i forgetting anything?
-
Could probably work, i don't see why they'd put a limit on 1 Killer, 2 Survivors max. (Stranger Things chapter) per license.
-
Digging this new one too.
-
This change i do like, she looks a lot better.
Just hope they will brighten up her iris again, but otherwise i like it.
-
There's no fear in his expression.
Old Dwight's standard fearful expression is kinda iconic, it should be there in my opinion.
-
Wraith made me main Wraith.
