Kinda, yeah.
Though i really wonder how the current Killer AI would work on other Killers than Trapper.
Trapper's AI is quite simple after all: PUT TRAP HERE! CHASE & HOOK!
-
When you play Wraith you are missing out on actual fun killers and just are running fast, then you whack. Kind of just always been a flawed concept.
You have your opinions, i have mine.
I currently own every single Killer, and none entertain me as much as Wraith does.
Flawed is also just wrong, he simply appeals to things you don't like, and of course fun-to-play is very much subjective.
I like going fast and whack, i love that simplicity.
I really don't care for building up Plague to get Corrupt Purge, not for Blight pinballing around, not for Huntress throwing #########, not for Ghost Face being able to t-bag, not for Shape being Shape, etc. etc.
-
The content's quality is something else, but i've always preferred it when they keep it short.
Allows me to make up stuff about them.
-
I don't think they realize it goes for them too.
-
Game should be able to detect if you have everyone unlocked and then give you the Charms.
-
I don't really mind if this one goes, there's already lots of fun stuff in his Add-on arsenal, in my humble opinion.
But i AM scared of how it would be nerfed.
My fear is that it'll be another "Z" Block.

Which killer do you play as? Wraith, Nurse?
Full-on bing bonger!
-
Here's mine, it's all about making Hex: Devour Hope work quickly without acting as its bodyguard and to fall back on decent Perks if it does get cleansed.
Used to have 3 Perks to fall back on, but with Hex: Undying in the game, it's been reduced to 2.
With the combination of Barbecue & Chili's Auras & Make Your Choice's snowball potential, a 3rd back-up Perk isn't necessary for me.
-
Not gonna play if i'm not happy with it, so yes, i am.
-
GOD i love this #########!
-
BP.
-
0, 0, and i think about 1.6K.
-
I kinda like the amount of variety in skill the game normally applies, whether that's on purpose or not.
I don't mind if i get squashed every now and then by superior Survivors, just as long as i also sometimes squash the Survivors, and everything inbetween.
Guess you could say i'm a fan of the chaos.
-
Yes, you did indeed do it for nothing.
That is, if you see the bloody cosmetics as nothing.
Which makes the decision easy: Only Prestige if you want the bloody cosmetics, and have at least 1 character with a good loadout to fall back on.
-
I never do anything that I think could be perceived as toxic.
I question this, since you play the game.
Playing the game can be seen as toxic.
The sad thing is that i'm only partially joking.
-
Now if they made it lethal with its invisibility, until what distance was it appreciated to see it? 16 meters or 24 meters?
I don't really get this part, just saying.
Best stealth Killer right now?
I would say yes, if Spirit's phasing isn't counted as stealth.
Trying to be objective here btw, which is hard asf for me.
-
Taking cover is your best bet.
I also almost always start cloaking behind cover and come out right as the first RING occurs in the uncloak animation, there's not enough time to burn him after that.
If you're in an open area and they start shining it on you, you can try to constantly run around them.
Their movement is slowed down while shining it, and you're super fast so it shouldn't be a problem and will absolutely throw their aim off.
Try and find a good window during that, or just make them waste their battery if they're persistent.

It does hurt Myers and Ghost face. Nowhere did I say it didn't. But Wraith it really doesn't. Most killers spine chill isn't a problem if you just look away for a few seconds
It doesn't even hurt Wraith much on the initial approach anymore, not with his new cloaked speed.
Looking away just enough is still better of course, but i find Spine Chill less and less threatening these days.

I could never switch my main, I'm a too huge Silent Hill fan to let Cheryl in a corner. But I'm with you on this one: Kate could become my second most played Survivor.
Woops, i didn't expect this when i made my comment.
So lemme drop this info: Kate's my current main. 😜
-
I suddenly feel like switching my Survivor main. 🤔
-
Shutting up Wraith while cloaked, but only from the Killer's point of view.
Cloaked mode is the hunting mode, he's supposed to be quick, stealthy and aware.
I can't hear potential footsteps and breathing sounds if most of it is drowned out by HURGL SNARL GROWL.
-
Down.

@Phasmamain said:
Probably not since certain killers wouldn’t get any.
Sad that Victor can’t get cosmetics though
The reasoning behind this argument felt always weird to me.
- To not do it because you'd leave a couple of Killers out sounds fine to me.
- To leave all Killers out of it because of a couple of Killers doesn't sound fine to me.
I'm saying basically the same thing here, yet...Idk, i feel conflicted on it. 😋
I guess i just would really like to try some different bells, but wouldn't want any Legion or Ghost Face mains feeling left out.

I feel like the forums are now obligated to make a new discussion on this subject every day.

We must be lol I like to be efficient.
If my character is P3 max perks I will never level them till an event or till new perks are released. Just feels like a waste otherwise lol I don't want to play any games during the event without me bringing at least a bps.
Elodie is an example of this. I want her to be P3 max perks by the end of the event, however I also want to get value out of my flashlights. So I'm playing her now, using her flashlights and then I'll prestige her at the start of the event. I'll level her up a bit before I start playing her.

I couldn't be like you guys lol I need to get maximum value of out everything. It's why when I'm in the exit gates I'm immediately like "ok now I can get some extra WGLF stacks" lol
Hey you do you, i do me, and we won't do eachother. 👍️

This is like me, I never prepare for events...I'm also useless at saving BP cos I like to spend them after each match whilst waiting in lobbies!
Same.

From what I saw, it only works from your angle, your teammates or killer won't saw the modded skin
Okay.
Then there's also the issue of making mods of existing cosmetics.
I'm not sure the devs would like it if you mod in exact copies of cosmetics that you normally have to buy, regardless of who sees it.
-
We're like polar opposites, i could never see myself have fun preparing like that.
I like to just throw myself into the event.
-
Most likely.
If people can mod in cosmetics, then Survivors could mod in dark clothes, and that could be a huge advantage.
-
Btw, is the in-the-middle-of-nowhere spawn on Disturbed Ward still a thing today?
Sorry if it should be obvious, i didn't really pay attention to it anymore.
-
I'd really rather not, i'd hate the feeling of watching a Spotlight, seeing a cool new Perk and then hearing i can't equip it on my main.
-
Lol no.
-
Ehhh, i don't really mind anyone's Killer Power right now.
BUT! The first thing that popped in my head in terms of BIG changes is simply more kinds of traps for Trapper.
Being able to place tripwires wherever to...trip Survivors.
These would mainly be an alternative choice to Bear Traps.
Bear Traps are more spreadout and quite limited, but are also more effective.
You start with way more Tripwires than Bear Traps and can reload them from Lockers, but they do not hold the Survivor in place and they do not damage them.
He'd also get a Trapper-exclusive Killer Power prompt when facing and touching a Vault location or Pallet, which is to place razor-sharp glass shards on Vault locations, and to only partially break Pallets instead of fully, creating large splinters, which of course hurts the Survivors.
Vaulting them would remove the glass shards from the Vault locations, and break the Pallets because the weaker kick already made them weak.
While this would seem as a vast expansion to his kit, let's be mindful that there's just not enough time to have every place trapped in a regular Trial.
Also there would be restrictions like how Bear Traps can't be too close to eachother, can't place them under Hooks, they have charges, etc. etc.
Still don't really count this as a rework, i'm just adding a whole bunch of crap to him.
-
The Entity side.
Piece of crap always steals our kills on the meathooks.
-
Maybe, i can't really reasonably predict that.
But a guess on my part: Aside from the initial alluring aspect of these changes on the live build, they won't be popular for long because muh meta Perks.
Why find Totems that might not even be Hex Totems when you can unhook anyone whenever you want and give them Endurance, or pick yourself up if they slug you hard?
Just like how Hex Perks can be unreliable for a number of reasons, equipping an anti-Hex Perk might turn out to not be of any use at all.
I've barely ever seen Detective's Hunch in my games, let alone a full-on anti-Hex build.
Again, aside from the initial popularity of the additions and changes, i really don't think it'll stick.
Now maybe that's just me unconsciously making myself not be worried because 💖Hex: Devour Hope💖, but whatever.
-
I don't think i'll ever not have fun playing as Wraith, Doctor & Spirit.
Wraith perfectly suits me, Spirit is too similar to Wraith to be unfun to me, and Doctor is just mindless fun to me, going zap zap on everybody.
The #1 Killer i find most fun but not always is Oni, which comes from his slow early-game & simply not being experienced enough with him.
And then all the others at least have something that would eventually make me say: Back to Wraith i go!
-
If you do a full cloak/uncloak with a Survivor is very close to you (within 0.5 or 1 meter(s)), it causes the Deafening Status Effect.
I'm only half-kidding with this one: I don't care for it being a thing, but i wonder if it could be any good. 🤔
-
Don't worry, you can eventually get every Perk on their highest level on any character. (Aside from Survivor Perks for Killers of course, and vice versa.)
Just keep completing Bloodwebs and it'll appear again at some point.

Ever get forcibly sucked into the pallet as the survivor drops it?
No.

That used to be stuns for me, i couldn't get rid of Enduring.
Now i actually got rid of it, but stuns are still a terrible thing to me.

Down and hook them.
They get what they want, i get what i want.

Licenses and streamers.

Nah, a relaxing day or 2 and i'll have the Perks on Wraith.

I love this! That is so creative and sounds like such a creepy and thematic outfit - I'd honestly love to see an entire line of Entity influenced costumes for the original Killers!
I think there is a fashion contest coming up. You should absolutely revisit this and submit your concept, it would have my vote! ☺️
Last time there was a contest i couldn't participate cause of country rules.
Which i still don't understand as i did participate in one before.
I'll participate if i can.
But yes, i'd like an Entity line of outfits, like how there's a Blight line of them.

I am interested on what was the outfit you made
It's hand-drawn and i suck at drawing so don't worry, you're not missing out.
But the basic concept is: The outfit makes Wraith really close to the Entity and will make him look like an Entity's Realm veteran.
The cloak is ripped to shreds, with only the hoodie and down to the shoulders remaining.
The skin is now very much black (the actual "color" black), also very charred and dry with pieces of skin peeling off on their own.
He'll have a few growths spread around on his body which shape to look like hydrothermal vents, which will emit the same black smoke a Killer sees on the sides of their screen when they're under the Undetectable Status Effect.
He'll have a hoodie on which is completely filled with that smoke, making you unable to see anything in the hoodie aside from very pure, bright-white eyes.
There'll be numerous small Entity Legs growing from within the hoodie, growing through the front and ripping through the sides, back and top of the hoodie.
The chest has a giant hole in it and in that hole is now a giant Auric Cell, held together with some Entity Legs.
It's animated so that the Auric Cell pulses slowly constantly, and some of the Entity Legs poke into it every now and then, making it pulse hard once as a reaction.
This is to insinuate that the Entity at some point had to give Wraith a new way to live, granting him this Auric Cell, but also makes it way easier to manipulate him, as poking this Auric Cell hurts him, so basically torture within the Trial.
As a weapon, it'll be a rather large and sharp Entity Leg that's grown from his right wrist.
It can move on its own, but of course that has no effect on the actual gameplay.
-
The outfit i made for a contest once.
-
Considering the growing amount of complaints about it, it'll probably change in a few months.
-
Beta, camera pan, playing as Dwight, playing on Shelter Woods, being very nervous.
