Then there's also the issue of making mods of existing cosmetics.
I'm not sure the devs would like it if you mod in exact copies of cosmetics that you normally have to buy, regardless of who sees it.

There is the possibility of all those other people were lying out of different intenions.If you are 100 percent sure about your decision then it won't change the fact and what are you afraid of being told bad by random human being? The community is made for discussion and criticism to make dead by daylight greater,but if everyone is obsequious about every decision dev make, that will be a problem.

If you can't take the criticism but only wanna hear good stuff, then be it.Say yes to everything and ignore all different voices, this will make your more "beautiful""powerful""stronger"

It's called criticism, it helps to make things better.
eg:
A hundread relative says you're pretty,
your boy/girl friend says you look bad with this makeup,
will you yell at your bf/gf to shut the F up or will you think and do some criticism thinking to make a change?

It's good thing that everyone gets the award,I do.
but JUST don't treat the old players like sh*t while saying "It's not a matter of prioritizing newer players over older players", it is, we all know you want new blood in dbd and give two sh*ts about what old players think.
Why bother making a event since the skins are added to everyone's account anyway?
I remember back when they decide to make all exclusive skins available to all players, they tried to make Howling Ground/BBQ Event skins available to all players too, them many players post they should not doing so, because it's a slap in the face to all players who actually attended and played the event, and then the dev re post news about taking the advice of community and not giving out these skins, until today...
They bite their own tongue...and make the excause to enlight all the after event players.

If you want to show your loyalty, flaunting exclusive skins isn't the way to do it.
Buy every DLC and Auric Cell Skin. That is how you show your loyalty to the developers, if that's what you really care about.
If you are traveling to an event only to get a skin, then there is something wrong with your priorities. The skins are an extra, you go to an event for the event.
If you got your codes free from your friends, why are you complaining? You got them for free with zero effort. You should be grateful, not angry.
If you are mad over event skins, just don't. If you are only playing events for skins and not because you enjoy the game, why don't you go shop for clothes at the mall instead of playing games, you will get the same satisfaction.

The devs thinking they know what's best for the game. They should listen to the people who have 4-6k hours on the game and have been here since the beginning and not the average Joe who has around 200-500 hours.

I know, some friend of mine were steamers early on pandatv and participated the official event on pandaTv which had boy group and girl group, Top 1 got the golden one.
What I mentioned is the company was closed forever, sadly. And those streamer all went to other platforms, like kingkong, bilibili, douyu, blablabla

Bloodletting
Bloodletting was a promotion for ordering items on our first merchandise store (the old one) for a limited period of time. Since players payed for it, we do not want to unlock the Bloodletting shirt for all.
Legacy
Unless we are able to identify every player that lost legacy, it will not come back. At the moment, we are still unable to identify the players that lost their legacy, therefore, we are not refunding or unlocking legacy.
Twitch / KingKongTV / PandaTV / Switch Trapper
As per our contract with these partners, we cannot distribute the cosmetics the way you are suggesting.
Streamer cosmetics
As per our contracts and arrangements with streamers, they will not be distributed and unlocked for every player. You can get a large number of streamer exclusives in the Charity Case.

I have a passion for this game, I'm playing since 2016 very actively. But never ever did I even consider spending that much money for exclusives or similar.
I own these exclusives all from friend free-gift, but I just feel stupid spend time play lunar year and summer bbq event

I agree with you, but dev care less about old dbd gamers is a fact. they should make nea-community, bloodletting, legacy, twitch, kingking, pandatv, switch exclusive for all too.
I played this game Since 2016 beta, but I never felt this stupid and sad that I'm just played by the dev. Exclusive equals to free for all, event equals to no need to try.

You're definalty a new player lol. Its about them saying something is "exclusive" . That "exclusive" feeling is what kept some people playing, you barely see anyone back from 2016 playing anymore since they got bored of the game. the ones that decided to stay and want to wear their old cosmetics get a big middle finger from the devs now.
Also if they want to end "shady scam" then they should disable all unused codes atm but let the already activated skins remain the same. And im betting they'll just sell these skins in their cosmetic shop since all BHVR cares about is the money they make, not their community, they gave that up a long time ago when they stopped doing weekly dev streams.
